like Derek didn't even have a canon age yet in the pilot, and it was meant to be after winter break, right (even tho they retconned that in s5, which I will IGNORE)??? so scott is sixteen and stiles is fifteen (according to the multiple DIFFERENT birth dates jeff gave him in april and june), then lydia has her birthday in season 2 and they are STILL SOPHOMORES so she is turning SIXTEEN. also also i could excuse jeff not knowing the timeline entirely in the first episode but come on. how do you not even know how long ago the main source of conflict for the season (the hale fire) happened??? fym 'like ten years ago' AND 'he's only a few years older than us' and then he was a senior when it happened?? or a junior??? it was WEIRD to have sixteen-year-old lydia having that much rebound sex pre-s3, it was WEIRD to pair her up with a fully grown man and LIE ABOUT HER BEING AN ADULT, it was WEIRD to have her be naked that much AT FIFTEEN, it was weird to have a joke about stiles getting preyed on by drag queens ALSO at fifteen, and it was stupid to not have a canon timeline even to its barest bones before the show started.

The Teen Wolf Movie cast is really pushing their "we did it for the love of Teen Wolf, not for the money" agenda to shade Arden Cho and Dylan O'Brien for knowing their worth and for rightfully refusing to be in it. Like, literally everyone knows that Tyler Posey, Holland Roden and Colton Haynes BEGGED on their hands & knees for this revival because they are unemployed and can't act. But of course they'd rather throw a woman of color under the bus than admit they are that desperate for a paycheck

The really pathetic thing about this is the very obvious - well, if you don't do it for the money, you surely have no problem taking less money and dividing it equally to give equal pay.

But mh. Guess she didn't not do it for the money that hard, because that thought never crossed her mind. Only to be arrogant in the aftermath and in a very unnecessary and uncalled for manner. I mean, holy shit there was literally no reason whatsoever to talk about Arden like that.

Though quite frankly, I think it's for the best. I mean, shit, they did Arden and her character so fucking dirty in the show already. Kira was such a wonderful and interesting character with so much potential and at the time she was literally the leading lady, the love interest of one of the main characters, and they just... shelved her. Put her on a shelf because these writers didn't know what to do with her anymore. Genuinely, I think they would have fucked her over once more if she was in the movie.

Also I think this movie will be a complete shitshow, I mean come on. THE main characters of this franchise have always been Scott, Derek and Stiles. Everybody else took a backseat or was super replaceable to the writers. It's always been around these three. And now they try to make a movie happen with one third of the leads?

ANYWAY, I wish Arden Cho a long run on her new upcoming show Partner Track, where she is actually the lead, and I can't wait to see it! <3
