Calling someone a “Snapewife” or “Snapewive” or whatever in a derogatory way in 2024 is misogyny. It’s a sexist, degrading insult targeting women, rooted in the same kind of internet macho humor we’ve seen for years.

I’m saying this because if you’re going to throw that term around and then go on to declare yourselves as super pro-LGBTQ+, feminist icons, and all the progressive buzzwords you pick up from your favorite Twitter accounts, maybe you should take a moment to reflect on your own internalized misogyny—before ending up looking like a bunch of clowns.
