Max ends up quitting RBR like this.
It starts with GP on the radio letting him know that Liam is right behind him.
Max isn't an idiot, he has mirrors and can see him.
Then Christian gets on the radio and asks Max to allow Liam to overtake him so that Liam can jump from fourth to second in the WDC.
Max think's he's just paid for an end of year vacation for the FIA with his response.
Christian is insistent, and that's it.
That's the straw that breaks the camel's back.
Max stops the car right there on track causing a Red Flag. He gets out of the car and channeling his inner Kimi, walks straight off the track and into the stunned crowd.
Half a day later he shows up on Daniel's doorstep, a six pack of beers in hand.

found a very interesting article on twitter and i think it's worth a read, considering recent news
edit: also as a lot of you have pointed out too, this is like a fraction of the shit he did over the years, so it's bad.
#formula 1#f1#anti christian horner#anti red bull#anti red bull racing#anti rbr#i mean it's something i've known for a while so it's nothing new#but some people definitely need to read it

toyota being fully willing to write daniel a blank cheque to get him into nascar and the f1 team he poured ten years of his life into couldn’t even let him have a proper goodbye because of a flopping paydriver and a mid rookie
#daniel ricciardo#f1#anti rbr#at least yuki was appreciative of daniel’s experience#but they can all truly go to hell

reddit going on and on about how 2025 is the year yuki can finally prove himself, that if liam fucks up yuki will be there to pick up the pieces of that red bull and that he just needs to put his head down and excel like!?
what fucking sport have they been watching? this man has broken teammate after teammate in that lame ass mastercard whatsapp red bull knockoff for the past two years and they actually think that if liam sucks as bad as we all know he probably will, cause he’s been fast tracked into a seat he’s not ready for, that helmet and horny and the shareholders are actually gonna put him in that seat? no they’re gonna fast track hadjar, even if yuki puts it on pole and p1 every single race next year.

I am genuinely beyond baffled that so many people are hating on George.
Firstly, it isn't two faced to be nice to competitors while still trying to get them a penalty? They are individual athletes. Of course they will take every chance to get a better result especially if it seemingly within the rules?
Secondly to imply that you have always gotten a bad vibe from George (implying that he is a bad person) when the driver who is attacking him is surrounded by a racist ass family that he chose by the way and has used ableist language, not to mention potential violence against other competitors is insane.
Thirdly, it is honestly completely unprofessional to go on this rant to the media the way Max did. Not only is George a fellow driver so there should be some respect to actually talk things out beforehand to clear it up but he is also the fucking director of the GPDA. He has advocated for the drivers, fair treatment etc. time and time again.
And lastly, I genuinely do not get how you all want more transparency yet feel comfortable judging someone by the hearsay of one person in this situation.
There are many reasons to dislike a driver, they don't even have to be profound. I am not asking anyone to suddenly become a George fan but the way you all will just jump on drivers purely because another driver said something is baffling.
Also, RedBull has no high ground to talk about "hysteria" (a disgusting word that has been used for centuries by the way to belittle women) when they were loudly accusing Lewis off doing drugs and using Alex to recreate a scenerario so they could prove why their competitors deserved a penalty.

i genuinely have no words to describe how this makes me feel. i am angry, disappointed, scared and sad. and that doesn’t even cover it.
all the talk about how they’ll treat this very seriously and the investigation will be thorough feels like a slap in the face. he is allowed to keep his position, represent a team and deny all this, while trying to pay off the victim. an innocent man does not do that.
and he’s protected by the team, by the public, and even though there is concrete evidence against him, none of that matters. he's allowed to walk around the paddock, while there is an ongoing investigation against him, when he should be suspended until all this ends. the victim is the one being called names, she’s the one being harassed, she’s the one on sick leave, people are trying to expose her identity and silence her.
this makes me wonder, if this is how they treat a situation like this, when there is evidence, how many stories are out there that we don’t know about? how many powerful men in the sport got away with something like this, because the victim was afraid to speak out (and rightfully so) or was threatened not to or was silenced? and how many more will stay silent, seeing how people treat them when they speak out?
this is not just a taint on Horner’s career or Red Bull’s brand, this is a taint on the sport itself. they showed time and time again that women are not equal, we’re not appreciated, but now it’s very clear that it’s way worse than that. F1 is not safe for women.
and i know that people will think that i’m overreacting or they’ll want me to stop posting about this, but i won’t. we should talk about this every damn day, cause something like this is absolutely unacceptable. and while you may feel like he's being criticized, i want you to remember that you're surrounded by this bubble online that you created, where people have similar opinion to yours. but the overwhelming public is on his side.
why do people feel the need to protect a man who is literally accused of abusive behavior? why do they feel the need to always take the side of the abuser? this is way beyond him being a successful team principal, there is evidence against him supposedly assaulting a woman. accusations like this are not just born out of thin air.
and while there is no verdict yet, i will not be surprised if they try to sweep this under the rug, because this is how they treat white, powerful, rich men. in the world and in this sport too. no one holds them accountable, no matter how big the public outrage is.
it is only innocent until proven guilty, when it’s a man.
#formula 1#f1#anti red bull#anti rbr#anti christian horner#it’s not really about being anti something but i feel like i have to tag it with these#and if this doesn't make you angry i really want you to ask yourself why?

Carlos Slim backing out of sponsoring Red Bull (will keep paying Checo tho) so like. Red Bull lost the MONEY, lost the CHAMPIONSHIP, gained TWO hot headed drivers they cannot control AND lost the ONE MAN who could have gotten them sponsors and a steady pair of hands OH WELL

if i was yuki tsunoda and i had to watch my team promote everybody but me including some guy who is consistently slower and inexperienced i’m not sure i could handle staying and continue getting treated poorly but a seat is a seat so i don’t blame him
