my friend and I went to the opening of Nicolette Lim’s show at Happy Gallery Chicago yesterday! Everything was so beautiful 🖤🥀

I love how three-dimensional the art pieces are and parts of the drawings/frames remind me a ton of lolita rectangle headdresses <3 This is the second show we’ve been to at this gallery and they’ve both been so cool!! The artist also does tattoos and has a tumblr blog @nicolettelim-tattoo

I've been having a dolly kei moment recently. I finally got myself an Oddfellows collar! It's something I've wanted for years but they can often be so expensive and they're usually in the US so shipping is expensive too.

It's a shame I didn't get a photo of the back of the skirt because it has some beautiful pleating detail

pretty happy with this coord, although i didn't realize it snowed so i had to swap the shoes out for mary janes because they have better traction. and then i had to wear my black wool overcoat over everything too lol. and then my ears hurt while i was walking around. i wish i had more winter stuff!

It was meetup day today!

It wasn't quite a Halloween party, just a little hangout, we ate a lot of good food (thank you C. and her partner for the lemon meringue pie!!) and sung VERY loudly to 80s music. Perfect.

We took a lot of cool pictures, K. decided to do some ouji today and it was nice to pose together! I'm really glad that I'm figuring out how to pose a bit more, although I still need practice.
