Tuesday, Reel Motion...

So Antman 3 and Guardians 3 are coming out soon. I'm looking forward to Antman a bit more than Guardians. In my opinion both sequels were a bit off. So I'm hoping they can correct course with both of these films.

Thursday, Reel Motion...

So after seeing promotions everywhere I think I will be checking out the new Avatar film. I loved the first film and even though it's been a long time coming; I still love the look and the characters. So I'll check out the new film. I just hope the introduction of the kids doesn't do to the franchise what adding kids dose to many franchises lol.

Sunday, Reel Motion...

So, they're making another Transformers film. Rise of the Beasts looks interesting and I might check it out. The last Transformers film I watched was the fourth one I think. But, introducing the Beasts versions hits my nostalgia for Beast Wars and so I may check out the film.

*scatters a small bag of rice in front of Daryl* OOPS, gee! I scattered SO MANY grains of rice, I wonder HOW MANY. It could be almost ANY number. It's AT LEAST more than TEN!

Daryl is going to stare and blink at the rice before looking at the one who spilled it. "Wait. Are you doing a baba-yaga thing of 'count the lintels before it's too late'? Do I have to count the rice?????"

The young dhampir made a sound and ran a hand over his face. "Okay, Okay, I need a either a shot glass or a some small container that will hold an ounce or table spoon worth of rice. I also need a set of scales, matching weights for ounces, pounds, etc., and a bag to put this all in. Give me those and I will be able to give you a good estimate of how many grains of rice were in that bag."

It had been just her luck that she had to run into Dincht that day when she was minding her own business in Balamb Town.

Still being inhibited by the bandage and sling Kadowaki had insisted she should sport for another week, Fujin decidedly refused to let her daily schedule slide and be idle. That wasn’t her, and she would go up the walls soon enough if she didn’t do something.

So she had decided to take care of the groceries and pick up her Chakram from the weapon store where it had been updated with a few nifty things she had spied in the latest Weapon’s Monthly. That was where she ran into Dincht.

Now waiting for the vendor to get her weapon, the blond nuisance had elected to talk to her, questioning her about Seifer, of all things. Something that really was nothing of his business in the slightest. Never had been, and wasn’t now all the more so.

Fujin pursed her lips while she rolled the questions over in her mind. She knew they weren’t entirely unprompted with how her last meeting with Seifer went. But still. 

Fidgeting with one hand, she pressed her lips thin and elected to stare holes into the counter top of the shop instead, her jaw working.

“FAMILY. POSSE.” She replied finally, pointedly turning away from the other so he only could see the silver strands that fell over her eyepatch, not the other side that had been rendered black and blue.

Tuesday, Quick Shot...

I was so sad to hear of Jason David Frank's passing. As a kid, I didn't get into Power Rangers much but my brother did so I like many knew who the character of "Tommy Oliver" was. I have kept up with the show in later years as well as his roles as different rangers and always enjoyed seeing him among the cast. Knowing now the way he passed makes it that much sadder and my heart goes out to his family and friends.

Thursday, Midweek Melody...

The new Whitney Houston film looks interesting. Much like the film made about the life of Tina Turner, I most likely will be checking it out. No matter the personal struggles she faced; no one can say she wasn't a talented artist that was lost far too soon.

Sunday, Totally Random Thought...

So Unorthodox Jukebox just turned ten recently. I’m a huge Bruno Mars fan and it's crazy to think he's already been around for as long as he has. In recent months I'm glad his dude has come out of retirement and is back on stage with him and I look forward to more from this amazing artist.

Tuesday, Quick Shot...

So I know fans have been in an uproar but it looks like the actors are roaring back. It’s so cool how Henry Cavil has taken the reins on a cool new project. How the Rock just said bump you to James Gunn and Warner Bros. Also, how now even the fans of the DCEU have had enough and are jumping ship. In my opinion, the DCEU has needed to scrap itself and really reboot with fresh material and better supervision anyway.

Thursday, Totally Random Thought...

A new guilty pleasure of mine to watch now are shows like Road Wars, Customer Wars, and Court Cam. I just find these shows interesting and crazy to see. Court Cam is my favorite.

To be honest I really wasn't up on the trends of 2022 so I'm not sure what we should leave behind and what we should bring into this year. All I can say is I bet what we keep and what we let go of will make 2023 all the more interesting lol.

Tuesday, Reel Motion...

So the first season of House of the Dragon has wrapped and to be honest I haven't checked it out. I know the show thus far is getting good reviews but it just doesn't grab me. GOT didn't grab me at first either; I only watched some of it due to my brother. I just don't think such shows are my thing. Even though I will say it does look pretty cool.

So, Rihanna's back in the game. I think the new music she did for the Black Panther film are cool and I'd very much like to see what she does for the up coming Super bowl half-time show. I think its cool she's back and doing her thing.

Sunday, Quick Shot...

So, it's said that the Witcher series is up at arms and is trying to somehow get Henry Cavil back even though they now have Liam. Either way in my opinion, I don't think the series was all that great. Like it looks like so many other shows set in the same situations and I'm sure it has its own different spin on things but it really doesn't seem to stand out all that much.

Well, Elon's Twitter has been a thing that happened. Seems like many people either have left or will leave if Twitter keeps on its current course. I think the whole buying the check mark thing was pretty stupid. It really makes the mark meaningless if you do that. Also, looks like this Hive thing is now becoming a thing. I really think Elon should have bought the platform.

Thursday, Reel Motion...

So, Henry Cavil is back as Superman, I love this. I feel right now he is the only one who looks right portraying the character. Also, seems to me he may have been wasted on the Witcher series. Looks like now that series is up in arms over the casting change, or maybe it's just the fans of the series that are.

Sunday, Quick Shot...

There are still some films I really want/need to watch. Spiderman: No Way Home, James Bond: No Time to Die, Multiverses of Madness, Black Atom, and Black Panther 2. I might be seeing one of these films this weekend.

So, the Tina Turner musical sounds really cool but I had a question. Have there been any other musicals based on the life events of a real star? If there is let me know. There probably are but I haven't heard of many of them. Either way, I am a fan of Tina and love her music.

Just my opinion, I see Netflix bring a thing maybe for a few more years but not so much after that. It may still be around but it won't be used or talked about as high as it once was. It's already on the decline and has been for years. I think it will be at the bottom of the list soon if not already for go to streaming services in the near future.

I know there are huge things that I could say for people to stop doing that would truly make the world better. Yet, for me one main thing that I think would really help out the world in a lot of everyday situations; would be for people to really leave people alone. Unless it’s life or death or a really dangerous or bad situation. Folks really need to leave each other alone nowadays.

26. What I'd like to change about myself is my fear of rejection which keeps me from trying things.

27. To answer the number of people I love depends on the nature of the relationship. I love my family, and my friends. Outside of this numbers vary.

28. The best decision I've ever made I think is coming to the realization that I want to be a writer, mainly after spending a lot of time claiming I wasn't sure what I wanted to do.

29. My favorite true story I love sharing with others is when I tried to teach my brother how to ride a bike lol.
