Opinion on Ethan Nakamura?

Personaly, I find his character very interesting and unique(one of my favs for sure).

He fought against the gods in battle of Manhattan for justice against demigods.

I like to imagine that because there were no Nemesis cabin he got into Hermes' habin(canon) and that he became close to Luke and sort of idolized him for his goals which is why he ended up joining him.

At the end he saw the wrong in his actions and turned against Kronos which was just spectacular for a character like that, and for reading. His death might not be in my top sadest ones but it was heroic.

Hey! I promised you some Luke Castellan shit. Here you go.

1. I drew this as a joke then showed it to my friend. Luke with pink hair. (It makes just as much sense in context.) Here’s the thing: some time before that, we talked about how in TSoM Percy notices how Luke has gotten a shorter, straight haircut, implying he gave up some gorgeous curls. Of course, no sane man would do that willingly, so she came up with a headcanon: that he lost a dare on Princess Andromeda and had to dye his hair in the most obnoxious colour ever, so that’s why he cut it. Does this make any sense at all? No! Is it stupidly adorable? Yes!

2. I convinced one of my friends to read TLT and I casually mentioned that he’d get along really well with X character. He cut me off and said: ‘No, you know who I’d get along with? With that Luke guy. I mean, he’s cool and also funny and…’

I SQUEALED. LOUDLY.

Obviously, he wanted to know what made me react like that. I told him that it will be a huge plot twist about Luke at the end of the book and that I can’t tell him more. Then the conversation went like:

Him: A surprising and funny plot twist, right?

Me:

Him: A surprins and funny plot twist… right?
