🩹 Have you had any injuries with a funny or amusing story behind them? oh lmao, okay, so one time my mom dropped me off at school. this was during 8th grade, which was a pretty terrible year for me, so i was trying to hype myself up for for the day. imagine everything is awesome tween dream remix or a similar sunshiney happy song is playing. Ready to take on the day and laying it on heavy with the "fake-it-til-you-make-it" optimism of a 13 year old, i leap up and out of the car like a cartoon protagonist :D!! ✨✨✨

...my head smacks directly into the roof of the car, and i immediately ragdoll to the sidewalk. my newly scraped knee bleeds profusely as i sit there, stunned. tween dream remix is still playing loudly, as the whimsy is too shocked by the turn of events to leave.

eventually i get up and mom hands me one (1) old dunkin donuts napkin to wipe off the blood, but she's got other kids to drop off at different schools so. uh. lmao. bye.
