I have also spent an embarrassingly long amount of time combing through gb patch’s asks, going through every single mention of him I could find for scraps of characterisation lol but I can’t help it! He’s so interesting!

Like… I think half the reason why I like him so much is that I played Our life before XOXO droplets, so when he reappears in step 3 and the sunset bird gang finds out that he’s a little sicko it came as a complete surprise for me, because I really wasn’t expecting something like that.

He was so different from the other characters, it really intrigued me to see how a character that grew up alongside Liz and Cove could end up being so different, and how this incredibly wholesome, fluffy game basically makes it clear that Shiloh is a shitty, manipulative person and that sometimes people like that just don’t want to change. It doesn’t really end the whole Shiloh arc with a neat little bow by making him magically change his ways after an afternoon and they don’t frame Liz as being wrong or bad for still feeling affection for a dear childhood friend that turned out to be a snake, even after she found out about his true nature.

These kinds of dynamics just deeply interest me. I think that any relationship in Shiloh’s life ends up being at least a bit intriguing due to his manipulative tendencies, and it’s fun to speculate on his thoughts and the motivations behind every single person he chooses to associate with.

I… I have a lot of thoughts about him. I can spend days talking about him and JB’s relationship.

He’s genuinely one of my favourite characters ever I love that little snake and he’s incredibly underrated 😭

This year, I actually didn't do very much except watch HoyoFair and play Genshin as Tighnari with my friend! I always do that with all of my favorite characters~

But if you mean in a selfship way, I just imagined we did what he mentioned in his letter, which was taking him around Natlan as the forest ranger and we talked about the plants and animals together. He asked me very detailed questions about the environment and certain conditions in which they thrive, about their unique characteristics, and any related species and somehow I was able to answer them. He was so pleased that he said that I should think about studying things in Natlan further so that I could perhaps give a lecture about it back in Sumeru. As much as I hate speaking in public, I felt so proud of myself. It meant that he had taught me how to approach these things as a scholar very well 💚

The Suckening (which is its actual name) is an arc of the hit dnd podcast Just Roll With It. now, I lied a tiny bit cause the podcasts main campaign, Riptide, is dnd, but The Suckening is run using Vampire the Masquerade, which is played with d10s rather than d20s, and is focused on vampire shit (its not a difficult system to pick up on tbh, I had no experience with it before the podcast and understood it by episode 2)

its. it's really good dude. currently they've got 4 episodes out ans the characters and world are really strong. they play in modern day LA but like. make it fruity and vampire-y. it gets homoerotic in true vampire fashion. magic cats are a huge plotline. there's an unlucky older man and two shit head teenagers who are twins from across the world. one of them is repeatedly described as a sad victorian boy. is. is this good enough yet

Who's more pessimistic, Blair or Shiloh?

Shiloh is the more pessimistic one, I would say. They've been a glass half empty type person since they were younger, but their pessimism has gotten worse as they've gotten older, especially since they started seeing Blair. To them, the world is a dark place, everything always goes wrong, they're always at fault, and everyone but Blair is out to hurt them and take everything that they have. They seek protection from Blair in response to their pessimism.

Though Blair tends to assume things will go wrong in general (they view other people as stupid and incompetent), they don't assume things will go wrong for them because they have pride in their abilities in handling things.
