The character’s reaction to seeing their favourite person?

Abel definitely does decide on favourite people pretty quickly. It’s not that he’ll dislike the other’s who don’t earn that spot, but he’s pretty instantly drawn to people on first sight or after knowing them for a short time. He makes up his mind quickly, what can I say? He’s a pretty low-key guy in his reactions though, for all his dramatic monologuing and grand plans and it’s not going to be a huge production every time he sees that person or even really all that noticeable to those around him that this is his favourite person. The biggest indicators are how often he’s around that person. The more favourite a person is to him, the more he figures out ways to keep them by his side. He’s also not adverse to compliments, at least when he genuinely cares about someone, and he will compliment both his favourite person themselves and he will hand out compliments about them to others. People will be able to tell that the person definitely has Abel’s respect, but only Abel himself, and ‘Mother’ will know that the person is his favourite person.

It’s going to be super easy to tell when Abyss has a favourite person and who they are. Because he’s had so little positive contact with people, he grows immediately attached to those who accept him and treat him well and once he gains a ‘favourite person’, he does everything he can to be around them as often as possible. And I do mean everything. It’s actually pretty easy to confuse Abyss’s reactions to his favourite person as stalking. Sneakily following them around, just in case they need him? Dutifully studying every little detail about them? Checking on them while they sleep, just to be sure they’re safe? Thinking constantly about his favourite person and trying to figure out new ways to make them proud of him or to make himself useful to them?...Abyss is just a little obsessive, ya’ll, especially when it comes to his favourite people.

Okay, but for Wirth to have a favourite person is a shocker to most everyone, but especially to himself. Wirth is, after all, someone who really does judge other’s pretty harshly and he’s someone who is so intensely focused on his own goals, on becoming better and stronger, that he doesn’t really grow too many positive and meaningful relationships with others, unless he gets or sees some use out of those relationships. I do think, once he starts realizing someone has become that ‘favourite person’ for him, he freaks out about it a little and starts actively avoiding them. He’ll make excuses but really, he just doesn’t like change or risk – he’s had everything so planned out and always has known what he needs to do. If having a favourite person messes any of that up…I think, even when he reconciles the idea in his mind, he’s very nonchalant outwardly about getting to see and spend time with that person. He doesn’t want them to know how special they are to him and because of this, he purposefully tampers down the reactions of excitement and happiness he really wants to let out but can’t because of his emotional constipation.

Milo is actually really unpopular. He has very few friends outside of the Magia Lupus, and even then he knows they likely only put up with him because of his power and how useful he is. For a long time, he talked to his cane and treated it like his best friend. So Milo actually gains ‘favourite people’ very easily. If someone genuinely befriends and accepts him, they become his favourite person. He believes he can have many favourite people, though he’d hold maybe two to three at most. He’s not a very emotive person, so it’s really hard for others to realize he views them like that. He doesn’t smile a lot more around them, he will still sometimes harshly insult them because he’s quite blunt without meaning to be, and he’s not tripping over himself to spend time with them, no matter what’s going on. It’s more that he starts every day hoping to get the opportunity to hang out with them and he’s much more protective over his favourite people than over normal, run-of-the-mill nobodies. Anyone who would dare to even make one of his favourite people sad, even if they didn’t cause his favourite person bodily harm? Death would be too quick for them, in Milo’s opinion.

Love’s so clingy, so fucking clingy, but not in the way Abyss is. Love’s favourite person would have to be someone who really does give into her whims and dotes on her, so they’d likely be okay with how physically affectionate she is. She will literally hug her favourite person so tight that they won’t be able to move without dragging her along with them or she’ll hop up on their back for a piggy back without asking or she’ll demand a thousand and one kisses, right away, please. It’s not only the physical affection her favourite person will be subjected to though. Nope, as mentioned above, Love’s favourite person is someone who absolutely dotes on her. They’ll need to be telling her how cute she looks, asking about her new hair accessories, taking an interest in her and only her or she will throw a temper tantrum. After all, the real fact is that Love’s favourite person is…well, Love. Anyone else who gets that title of favourite person needs to love Love almost as much as she adores herself.

Even if someone is Olore’s favourite person, he doesn’t give a really noticeable reaction to being able to see them. It’s not that he doesn’t really appreciate the opportunity to be around them but he doesn’t need dramatics to get that across. He’s more focused on spending the actual time with them. He talks to them, listens to them, gives them his undivided attention. While he’s largely fine with letting them decide what the two of them do together, he’s also got ideas of things he wants to do with them. He’s really rather subtle and chill, quite normal and every-day, in his reactions.

Anser doesn’t really grow attached to a lot of people. It takes him a while to really grow close to others, especially since a lot of people do find him exhausting to be around. It’s going to take him even longer to really decide, and then realize that someone’s his favourite person. Once he does realize that though, he does everything he possibly can to be around them as much as possible. While he’s not to Abyss levels, there’s just something about Anser where I feel the dude is definitely a clinger. When he does need to be away from his favourite person for a bit, he’s definitely going to monopolize every second of their attention for a solid day and he’s going to keep making obvious statements like ‘when we were apart, we couldn’t see each other’ and ‘did you know? When you’re not here, I miss you’ as if each statement is the most profound thing a human has ever told someone.

Valentine's Day

Decided to do this as a Valentine's Day special, hope you like it

An interesting fact that I discovered is that people who are called Valentina/Valentino/Valentim this day is like an Onomastic birthday (Birthday of someone who is named after the Saint of that day) So happy birthday Valentina/Valentino/Valentim!!!

Summary: How they react to receiving gifts from their s/o on Valentine's Day

They stand there with their eyebrows widened as they stare at the gift in their hands.

It is not a surprise for them to receive gifts at this time or even hundreds of their admirers

Sometimes it was a hassle to have so many chocolates or gifts

But receiving one of your own? It was something they hadn't imagined, but they liked the idea.

"Thank you" They say with that sparkle in their eyes that only you and one of the few to witness

I'm not really sure about what you mean by that, but if you're talking about the emoji I put after each character's name, it is indeed intentional and there are interesting reason for it! (at least I think it's interesting lol)

It's gonna be unnecessarily long so read down below if you happen to be interested with this one! (for some reasons)

I'm used to indulge to my fantasy via X (Twitter) a lot, especially since there are many Character X Reader fanarts created by JP's artists being posted on twitter. But in japanese fandom's twitter culture, there are many unspoken rules as to how to tag/title your work for the sake of decluttering/censoring/gatekeeping (idk how to best phrase that lol) and it is especially important to learn it if you want your work to reach to their demographics as well.

As for emojis, many people often used the unofficial fandom's designated emojis to tag their work/tweet/ instead of typing the actual name of the character, this is so they'll not clutter the hastag itself with their artworks/fic. Especially since sometimes there are character with similar names to one character in another fandom / the character's name itself is similar with a certain slang/noun/place.

The best example for this is Epidem from Mashle, since if you put the katakana of his name on twitter search engine you will be directed to a news/threads/tweets that is talking about 'epidemic'. It will be troublesome if someone who doesn't know anything about Mashle ended up finding random fanart about Epidem when they tried to find news related to 'epidemic', right? that's why tagging it with the designated emoji/term for that character will be more preferrable in this case.

That is the reason I put certain emoji for certain character. It's just because I often do that when I talk to other ppl about Mashle & I thought it would be nice to apply that to my writing!
