Oh my god I'm drawing the LB AU again its a miracle

Akari: wants to do protag things Adaman: you nearly died right before my eyes not happening :)

TLDR: Adaman and Ingo put Akari under constant supervision after an incident with Volo and Akari isn't happy about it.

SO, STORY POINT: During a meeting post a confrontation that Akari has with Volo, the man in question manages to sneak up on her and the group she's with (Adaman, Ingo, Rei and Melli) and attacks Akari, nearly killing her because her boon wasn't activated. Adaman - in a desperate last-ditch attempt to save Akari gets a rather speical boon from Dialga (a Rare Case, Dialga calls it) and reverses time for him, giving him the ability to prevent Volo from attacking her and sending him on the run. Akari is put under "house arrest" aka someone has to be with her at all times - usually Adaman - while Volo is out on the run. Everyone is shaken up by it but Akari, who wants to stop Volo herself.

She's not having fun. TBH neither is Adaman, he's just better at hiding how on-edge he currently is.

Legendary Boon AU :: The First Few Weeks

A brief Summary of Akari’s first few weeks in Jubilife Village up until she meets a certain Warden

Akari’s arrival in Jubilife was contentious as per the regular game, but with the added anxiety of Akari finding any reflective surface she could to make sure her face wasn’t glowing/ her eyes weren’t a different color. It made her look vain at first, but Rei picked up that she seemed to be looking for something, rather than at herself and Laventon assumed she was very self conscious. 

She passes the trial to join the Survey Corps with flying colors, and thus begins the main part of the story. 

The next few weeks are her adjusting to life, and Rei being surprisingly assistive and kind - internally he’s intensely jealous of her easy camaraderie with Pokemon, but when he sees how she struggles with everything else, his jealousy leaves pretty quickly. Laventon starts teaching her about what little information he has about boons, and his theories about the legendary beings in the land of Hisui, but that he has to do far, far more research. 

The story progresses as normal for the most part, with pit stops where she learns about her boon’s powers, as well as Laventon learning about them due to a tragic accident out in the field. 

And then the frenzies start. 

Her meeting with Adaman and Irida is… interesting, with Adaman in particular being put off at her young age, but Kamado insists, and the clan leader capitulates. 

I will be making a post concerning how Akari quells each of the nobles, so I will be glossing over it here for the sake of brevity. 

Akari just cannot get a hang of her abilities, with them activating at what feels like random times - but are actually all related to stress or fear. Her Oshawott figures this out and her Pokemon become her little protection squad (™) - post about Akari’s Hisuian Pokemon team forthcoming. 

One day, she has a dream about a black dragon that makes her nervous on the day she’s supposed to go quell lord electrode...

And she meets an odd man at the behest of Irida - 

Warden Ingo, who will guide her to the highlands. 

Something in his eyes hint that he knows something
