As cathartic as such an arc would have been, I can understand why it didn’t happen. Luo Binghe is just not the kind of person to hold a grudge against a loved one unless pushed to his absolute limit, and the point and unintended consequence* of Shen Yuan’s transmigration is that post-qi deviation Shen Qingqiu does not do that. PIDW is like a challenge to see how far you can break someone before they just say “fuck it” and take what they want or destroy what they can’t have. Shen Yuan comes in and says “ok but why do I have to break him for him to get what he wants, when I want to give him those things anyways? He doesn’t need to earn good things by experiencing unproportionate and unjustified abuse.”
