Phil never did get to teach the kids how to fly... he promised it long ago. He taught a few islanders how to fly, Cellbit in purgatory, Pac when he got his cloak. Promised to teach baghera as well.

I hope he's resting well and I pray fit doesn't blame himself for not being there before everyone's collective departure.

His last conversation with Phil was when he was dealing witha enderking. He worried he had overstepped a boundary and messed things up between them.
