Andre in the Guise of Saint Christopher
The legend of Saint Christopher quite clearly states that he was a giant. Not just a tall man, but a genuine giant of the beanstalk variety... Christopher's story seemed the ideal vehicle to feature another famous giant — the late Andre the.
from Prodigies: Anomalous Humans by James G. Mundie
As the story goes, it was his size that enabled him to easily transport the Christ child across a river and thereby secured his place as patron saint of travelers — that is, until the Church decided that the evidence for Christopher's very existence was entirely legendary and de-canonized him. Nonetheless, Christopher remains a popular though unofficial saint, and his image is fixed in our cultural psyche.
Christopher's story seemed the ideal vehicle to feature another famous giant — the late Andre Rousimoff, professional wrestler and actor (which amounts to the same thing).

Does mc still die in gotham au?
Tumblr media
They still die but like way less often. Most people aren't as good at shooting a gun as the MTF and people aren't going after MC directly to kill them in Gotham.
Honestly, MC dies most to themselves. MC is used to being with SCPs where encounters are always lethal which means if they survive, they usually get out uninjured but in Gotham, not everything is a one-hit kill so they survive relatively easily but end up more injured. They can't afford to go to a doctor so the easier solution is to just kill themselves and do better next time. They're likely to die after if they don't get medical attention either way.
Joker is like, a non-issue for them. I think it'd be funny for there to be a side plot thing where MC just. Accidentally kills him. Listen, they're used to everyone around them Not Dying or at least not staying dead. How were they supposed to know the Joker would die so easily?

There's a lot of good stories where it happens but whenever I read an SCP where everything would've been fine in Foundation hands if the GOC hadn't shot first and asked questions later it always makes me think of like

It's so funny when horror is your escapist media, like "real life is too stressful so Im going to the haunted Chuck E. Cheese plagued by child murder in my mind palace"

if i said SCP articles that were more like tales are much more fun compared to SCP articles that document a Thing...
also if i said every GOI that ISN'T the foundation was criminally underrated in one way or another.

I would argue that sigma, omega and beta are human terms and 4999 is beyond humanity, so he is probably something else. Also have fun arguing with sweet patato apologists
Ah yes our two conversations that we are having, "What is 4999 status in the omegaverse" and "Sweet potato fries"

no but thinks ab it a normal amount like. Like how do you love??? knowing that at any moment-- at any breath or blink or second that you could hold every memory you hold dear, every relationship you’d form      and for it all stop mattering, or to grow and loath it or, or, or---
They’ve long come to terms with the inconsistency of their nature. They’re an anomaly, he isn’t bound to the same laws of reality as other beings and that works perfectly fine for him. He only needs himself and those he create in his image for his company, those who will disappear or change as is fit, consciously or not           but to find itself loving someone??    platonic or romantic, doesn’t matter, it’s still something he avoids and on the off chance someone does manage to extract genuine emotion from him, he’ll simply avoid it, ignore it, pretend it’s all a childish fantasy of having tea-time with your imaginary friends because how could he do anything but when he is everything and nothing

a fun thing about anomalous point that I've never really talked about, and didn't get discussed much in the fic was the fact that Heath was literally an alien living in hiding on Daibazaal. Like, the Blade was trying to conceal all knowledge of Earth's existence, so not only was Keith always hiding his face outside of their base, but so was Heath. They gave him some Blade armor and passed him off as one of them, and nobody even batted an eye.
