JUST WRAPPED UP this entire album tonight, on this RAINY Christmas Eve here in my part of the Philippines. This is the second recording of BWV 248 I listened in full; the 1997 Philip Pickett one (in which a countertenor - Michael Chance - is used in place of a female alto, with Anne-Sofie Von Otter being John Eliot Gardiner’s case in his 1987 account) I dispersed the cantatas over the course of this year’s Ber Months was my first.

얼마 전 '아마 오늘 비가 올 것 같아(=I Think It's Gonna Rain Today)'란 곡을 올렸더니, 20대 때 주말 낮에 카페에 앉아 밀러 맥주 마시면서 음악 덕후 친구들과 함께 들었던 노래들이 자동으로 떠올라서, 마침 가을이기도 하고 찬바람 불기 전에 혼자 개폼 좀 잡아보려고 두서 없이 떠오르는 대로 열 곡을 선정해 영화 '은하수 수호자(=Guardians of the Galaxy)'에 나온 '어썸 믹스 테잎'을 흉내내 'Awesome Mix Vol.1 byken'을 만들어 봄.

이런 목록은 그냥 음악에 집중하는 게 맞는 듯해 자세한 배경 설명은 생략하겠으나 딱 하나, 마크-아몬드가 부른 '단지 친구 사이(=Just a Friend)'만큼은 가사를 알고 들어야 할 거 같아서. 주인공이 짝사랑하는 여자와 그 여자가 좋아하는 나쁜 남자 사이의 이야기.

MOZART: VIOLA CONCERTO/SINFONIA CONCERTANTE

El famoso concierto para clarinete con viola solista y la popular Sinfonía Concertante en una nueva grabación a cargo del excelente conjunto barroco y los solistas de la Filarmónica de Berlín.

La Berliner Barock Solisten, fundada en 1995 por Rainer Kussmaul, Raimar Orlovsky y otros destacados miembros de la Filarmónica de Berlín, destaca en el ámbito de los conjuntos de música antigua. Utilizan instrumentos antiguos pero modernizados y arcos específicos de la época, creando un enfoque único de las obras de los siglos XVII y XVIII. Su excepcional homogeneidad y sus solistas de primera fila han asegurado su reputación internacional. Conocidos por su capacidad para presentar composiciones históricas desde una perspectiva contemporánea, destacan en la interpretación de los maestros italianos, Telemann y Bach.
