Where do we find the meaning of pink? Do we capture the curve of a rose in bloom? Are we seeking out the flush of healthy cheeks on a chilly day? Is the meaning found in the tightly swaddled form of a newborn baby girl? Pink delights us all – man, woman, child, and adult.

Pink is the shade of the colour palate which attracts the girls at young days of the childhood, just like the bees are attracted towards the buds of pink flowers at their initial stage. The nectar content is more at the flower blooming days just like girls childhood days.

The idea of PINK being available for everyone is not just a random thought it’s something I individually felt that pink as a shade has lot to offer as a colour tone except lying in women closets.

Why can’t men have the closet full of pink ?

The color of frivolity lives between red and white. Pink takes all the passion and energy of red and tempers it with the purity of white, leaving us with the color of tenderness and affection. Pink is more about the reddish tone which lately told and advised mens can’t wear, but the fact that everything is not about following guidelines and make sense so people started breaking stereotypes which leads famous designer brands to involve pink as a initial tone in their Runway shows .

In short guys can have a closet full of Pink it’s just the personal taste

Even celebrities red carpet are involving all pink monochrome looks , Cannes was also awash in hot pink. But we tend to forget that it was developed for mens during the age of its invention corsets were used in the army (especially among the cavalry), for hunting, and for strenuous exercise, not unlike a weight lifter’s belt today. The functional wear which end up as fancy wear by the today’s society.

The interpretation of corsets are lately many but few brands are just using corset name and developing the variations which no where similar to the actual product but are called corset.

The fun part is this marketing strategies of the brands work which lead towards so much sales of these products.

Lately one can imagine and produce lots of diy (do it yourself) versions of the corset, but adding boning channels and eyelets lacing doesn’t make every top in corset.

6'ft to 6'5ft height,

wear a size 40–42 top,

have a 32-inch waist,

and maintain a greek god body

if any of the above is lacking, sorry my man, you wouldn’t cut it to the glamorous job.

yes that is the reality of male modelling industry, and sadly nobody talks about it,

and i am not a nobody, i am somebody who will like to throw a light upon this issue.

when it comes to body positivity, only female models are seen as it’s symbol, we forget about our male folks, why? well because their body should be oozing with sex appeal if not then they are of no use, now if we switch the role and say only girls with oozing sex appeal can get into the modelling agency then oh my god it would turn into a very big #cancel issue on twitter, but that is not what i want to talk about right now.

in my opinion, wherever i see male models they are all a treat to our eyes, it’s the way i haven’t seen many plus size male models, with body hairs and a fat belly, well rihanna tried to normalise it but i don’t see any normalisation other than just a marketing technique to sell her products which nobody bought of-course, no offense.

all these big successful male models, like milind soman from india, lucky blue smith from america, all possess such good looks, strong features and a very attractive body structure, they are often used in music videos while water is pouring down their body and females are touching them with finger pretending their finger burned because of how hot their body is.

the whole point of this is, it’s time we let modelling be an open field for passionate people, we need to let it represent all body types, not only in females but in males as well, let a fat man shine too, take the spotlight and be recognised without fitting into the requirements.

"Oh pet . . you're jealous innit?" He swipes the tip of his finger over the waffle picking the puff of cream and swallowing it whole, "'M not! Why'd I be?" She squeals kicking at his boots.

"Always told me y'had a candy crush at Harold." He smirks mischievously. Spitting truth. She smacks his bicep with a wide open mouth.

Y/N's carrying Harry's babies and is trying not be angry at him for pulling her into all of this with him.

Red's everywhere. It makes her pout. Everyone have someone to celebrate the day but she's the only one giving careless ears to Niall who's sitting opposite from her in the crispy lilac heart booth, "Mean ye' fought again with him?" He stirs the mango bobas in his drink wiggling his brows at her to fill him with some tea. She gasps full of drama and surprises, "What d'ya mean 'again? D'ya think 'm this crackhead that rips people in two for no-reason?" She whispers the last part when a waitress passed by them.

"No. Pet what 'm sayin' is --- you're too, feisty with Harry." He chuckles leaning to meet her betrayed gaze, "Did he bribe you with new golf stick? You've switched sides." She juts her bottom lip wet from pink marmalade drink and startles in her spot when Niall cackled ever so loud at her silliness.

"I just tol' him to go through Chessie marathon somewhere else than my home." Harry was at her flat as always. She was making red velvet strawberry flavoured muffins for the moment ( promised not to give it to Harry — "even if he'll beg") and then she fulfilled her promise when she saw him going through his pictures together with Chessie. The jealous little Y/N jumped out from her polite skin and she just tinsy bit mocked him, "I'd never look back at the person who'd have left me and my children. . ." That broke a mighty bit argument between the two idiots. How they're gonna take care of two babies when they themselves need a person to put them away from eachother?

His wounds are fresh they need ointment babe -- You've always been so good with him, what's the matter now?"

She circles her fingers round eachother. Sucking her lip harshly and not meeting Niall's intense stare, "Turns me mad that 'cos of one person we're here now." She mumbles caressing the belly button protruding from the flimsy fabric of her oversized hoodie.

"It's the fate, pet. Always tol' me how much you liked kids." She shakes her head in denial. "Not in this situation where 'm lost and doesn't know how it'll work out — " He cuts her off with concern.

"Talked to Harry bout it?" When she again denies he asks, "What you're gonna do about it then?"

"Dunno. Share?" She's new to all of this. What did she actually mean was that they could do it like how divorce parents do it, maybe? Doesn't know how Harry wants to handle the situation just leading a blind eye with him. Hasn't even considered getting ready for the life that'll come along with them.

"They're babies not a packet of crisps, Y/N!." He burst into giggles and she huffs slumping against the foggy window, "Pain in arse you're." She scoffs that pout still intact the whole time while Niall keeps on giggling finding it too funny.

Walking from the elevator to her flat's door seems like hiking a mountain for her and cherry ontop that the stares she gets from her neighbours is full of judgments. It makes her want to hide underneath her blankets and never pop her head out. Her brows coming together in wonder at the sight of small wood basket at her doorsteps.

"Oh my god don't tell me someone left a baby at my doorsteps, Hello!!!??" She spins here and there but finds no-one but empty hallways when a feeble sound coming from inside it almost made her tumble on her bum. The last thing she wants is not another baby. With a grunty noise she ducks down to lift the basket supporting it at her belly and unlocking the door while trying to squint inside it.

When she throws the lid away a fuzzy little grey creature with big mossy eyes was pawing in air needy for attention, a red choker with heart in centre around her lil neck. It almost brought her to tears. Blame her being extremely emotional these days.

"Awww. Hi!" She fawns picking it up from armpits inspecting the miracle kitten that's here outta no where. A crumpled note laying in the basket with a bunch of colourful disoriented flowers.

"'M sorry fo' throwin' a tantrum and leavin' all fussy. This's oreo. I want her to grow along my kids! Also forgive mee plssssss?"

She giggles throwing her head back snuggling oreo against her throat as she meowed adorably sweet, "Daddy's such a daft ehh?" She says in between breaths petting the new addition to her loved ones.

The first thing she does is call him and he picks on the very ring as if anticipating for it, "Come back home you fool." His smile was infectious as he taps his feet in his car a lil over joyed at the thought.

"So generous." Running upstairs as he used to in oast with anticipation to spill the tea of his day to her in any hour of the day. The door was already open, them standing at the either boundary line of flat. His first priority's always to shower his babies in evermost affection. Falls to his knees smushing his face to her belly quenching outta a ribs aching laugh from her as he caress his cheeks against the soft side of her womb murmuring things that's a secret between him and his babies.

"Hey Angels!" He greets them patching a loving tight kiss atop her belly button that tickles her softly, stands up and meets her teary gaze from laughing with much serenity it knocks breath from her, "Hi mama angel." His whisper fuses against her skin while kissing her cheek.

"Hi. ." She inhales in his woodish vanilla scent. Preventing from melting into his arms she pulls him back from shoulders grinning at him, "Let's ruin valentines watchin' Anne Hathaway's romcom." He tuts instead leading her with him to the sofa.

"Can't be better than that –— let me pop in some popcorns real quick."

The yellow carpeted floor's littered with candy wrappers, packets of half folded crisps, peach sodas and an empty bowl of popcorns. Oreo snoozing in her basket. They're on their fourth romcom. Her legs in his lap. His's on coffee table. He chuckles everytime she takes almost three minutes to be in a comfortable position, ushering her to sit up so he could put cushions under her.

"Are you craving nama chocolates?" She eyes him nipping at her blanket trying to snuggle closer to him. He runs his thumb at her shoulder blade in soothing circles peering down at her, "'m not pregnant. ye're moppet. havin' a sweet tooth?" When she nods sheepishly he shakes his head quickly hoping on his feet.

"Don't be shy --- dunno where ye' got this giddiness from, 'm your bestie. Gotta tell me yeah? Lemme grab me jacket." He grabs her from wrists helping her up and goes to her wardrobe to get her fist gloves, beanie and warm slippers.

When hears her huffing and puffing grunty-ly his head perks up with brows furrowed, "What's it babe?" He pads towards her and when she turns for him to have a look the zip of her jacket bursts open all the way to end revealing her bump.

She pouts sadly, "Nothin' fits me anymore." He just smiles adorning the same puppy look in his eyes as her's to light up the tension.

"I'll buy ye' new. Those cute maternity clothes, ehh?" Shimmies down the clothing from her shoulders, "oi you don't have to!" She retorts and he bobs his head taking his own puffer jacket off to wrap it round her small body.

"Yes I do." He mumbles zipping her all the way up warm and squishy in his jacket three sizes larger than her. Pulls her hair out and cups the nape of her neck with his calloused soft palm bringing her closer to feather a delicate kiss to her temple, ". . .deserves more than just clothes — deserves the world always gonna be thankful to ye, pet." She gulps the cobweb of silence down her throat fiddling with the hem of his sweater.

"What you'll wear? 'S cold." He gives her an elfin grin flaring a baby pink knitted cardigan he sneaked from her wardrobe, "Harry!" She squeals with a giggle, "You're gonna look like grann Matlinda."

"Ehm. 'etter not forget to send her a picture when 'm matchin' with her." He quips snapping his fingers.

They walk over the glittery layer of slushie snow and Harry walks infront of her two steps at a time capturing pictures of her as she prowls carefully trying to move the hood away from blocking her vision, "Ye'r walkin' like a penguin -- cutie!" He giggles with each echo of flash.

"Look who's saying an otter himself!" She mimics him and he blushes under the mellowness of street lamp. They're champs at pulling eachother's legs.

"It's soooooo slippery." She complains wiggling her fingers from under the sleeve, "Grab me hand 'n don't leave it kay?" He smiles like advising a three year old who's afraid of crowds in a market. His grip warm and safe for her.

"Aish. gimme gimme!" She gets all jumpy on her toes when Harry comes out of the shop with a box of chocolates and two sticks. "'Ey greedy pup." He chuckles booping her button nose opening the silky lid of box revealing the velvety delcious chocolates. He picks the stick up taking a piece of chocolate with it and hovering it over her little mouth. Scrunching his nose at how adorable she gets the moment she chews it.

"Hmm. 'S so soft!" She gulps wetting her cold lip getting all butterfly feeling when she catches him gazing down at her as if she hung the moon and saturns. Raises her brow for an inquiry if he's okay tugging him closer with a gentle clutch to his cardigan.

Their surroundings turning into ice crystals of blur carelessness, the noises of glimmering lights into lulls of whisper and their bodies cocooning into snuggly blanket when Harry's fingertips fluttered tenderly against her cheeks glueing her at the spot. Leans in to press his lips softly to her plush sweet ones in a heartwarming caring kiss that flooded her veins with warmth and made her brain mushy unable to think.

"Yours are softer lil penguin." He murmurs stroking the corner of her mouth and smirks when she squeaks a thank you in return.

"Such a cutie." He cooes squishing her blushed cheeks and kissing each of them with loud wet noise till she pushed him away wiping his wetness with a pout. "'M highly offended pet ya never used to wipe me kisses away."

She shuts him up by stuffing a chocolate in his mouth. Walking back home with his arms wrapped around her protectively as he comes up with silly jokes whole way.

Everything reminds her of him. That fuzz of kitten. The empty box of chocolate. Couldn't even focus on the work she's doing on her laptop. It's just that gooey feeling never left ---- now it has gotten stronger with it's mushk when Harry kissed her under that beautiful sky of wintery lilacs. If he's playing with her feelings he better not cause she'll break him in two in that case.

He was out shopping clothes for her when she texted him if he'll like to eat roasted chicken she made for lunch. The mere thought of him caring for her brings her to tears because before him nobody was there except only him that knew her from the depths of her heart.

"You look pretty. . ." She finds typing hard while laughing this loud as Harry sent her mirror pictures of him trying the maternity clothes himself that he's supposed to buy for her, "Thought a visual representation will be good idea ;)" He shrugs typing back with a grin standing bottom naked in the changing room getting a rolling eye emoji in return.

She yawns putting her phone aside when Harry got busy into his hunt for nice warm clothes for her. Something wasn't fine today. She's been changing sides for an hour now and she couldn't sleep. Her shoulders twitching with each blink of eye and when she finally slips into a light conscious sleep a bone rattling pain shoots through her whole damn body. She jolts from the state of haze and tries to sit up when another zap of pain makes her feel limbless. A feeble grunt of helping cry fizzes out of her when she feels a cramp at the bottom of her spine.

In her panicked state she fumbles for her phone dialing the first emergency number doesn't give him a chance to speak before she's yelling into receiver out of anxiousness, "Harry somethin' not right! — 'm m havin' these contractions —--" He's been out dining with Niall and shoots from his seat the minute her worried voice reached his ear.

"It's okay, lovie. yeah? 'M comin' take deep breaths how we practiced —-- I'll be there in a mo'." the catsuit : a meta

this is a guide to my version of catwoman’s full catsuit. it takes inspiration from many interpretations though mainly the dark knight rises, the new-52, and the batman: arkham series. the goal was to reimagine the catsuit as practical while maintaining its sleek, iconic style.

COMPONENTS

Cowl - A fitted hood made of the same material as as the catsuit, contains a semi-flexible helmet-like plate to protect the top and back of the head as well as the temples that cuts off just before the nape of the neck. Signature cat ears formed with a more firm substance sit atop the head. A strap that clasps under the chin secures it in place.

Goggles - High-tech infrared goggles with an optional night vision setting. Convex lenses maintain a yellow, red, or green tint while the frames themselves have a sharp cat-eye shape. Lenses are replaceable. A woven elastic band keeps them from moving out of position and provides more comfort than a fabric or plastic snap.

Collar - Choker worn occasionally. Serves little to no functional purpose.

Catsuit - Full bodysuit with a zipper down the middle. Mock turtleneck, full length sleeves and pants. Forms to fit the body snuggly but not enough to inhibit movement. Breathable, abrasion-resistant material wicks away moisture with reinforcements and tear-resistant mesh in critical areas.

Belt - Worn when necessary/during high-risk engagements. Contains compartments to hold various weapons and tools. More than often will include smoke pellets, sleep gas, sleep darts, caltrops, bolas, duct tape, or other items imperative to the mission.

Gloves - Well-fitted to cover the whole hand and a quarter of the arm. Crafted from the same material as the catsuit. Sharp claws created accent the end of each finger.

Boots - Shin high combat-style boots secured by belts rather than ties. Flexible build overlaid with a material to match the catsuit.

Whip - Black bullwhip with a cat charm attached to the handle.

Backpack - Simple black bag with optional crossbody strap used occasionally for carrying extra necessities and larger loot.

FUNCTIONS

Cowl - Protection of identity. Provides some protection from blows to the head. Ears can be used for painful headbutting.

Goggles - Detection of enemies, allies, and loot. Used to see more easily during the night time and in dark places. Protects the eyes from harmful substances and blows. Lenses can be broken if hit with enough force.

Collar - Cute. Can be used as a tourniquet if need be.

Catsuit - Provides protection from the elements, harmful blows, cuts, stabs, scrapes, etc. Made to camouflage in darkness and allow for fluid movement.

Belt - Cases and protects weapons, tools, and valuables.

Gloves - Protect the hands in close combat, make the impact of punches less painful for the wearer. Prevent the wearer from leaving behind fingerprints. Claws are used for assault as well as cutting through vulnerable objects and fabrics. Individual claws are held in place by braces sewn into the finger of the glove to support the finger itself. Braces encase the first and second joints of the fingers and remain flexible at the bend. These braces ensure that the impact of a claw strike is not taken solely by the point of the finger. They also make claw replacement easy should any break.

Boots - Built flexibly for both movement and comfort. Absorb impact with support in the ball, heel, and arch of the foot. Non-slip with a print indistinguishable from most work shoes.

Whip - Weapon. Uncommon enough so that it can very rarely be turned against its original wielder should she become disarmed.

Backpack - Self-explanatory.

Parapines

I like parapines, I think Norman and Dipper make a cute couple. The thing is I think Norman and Dipper are stand-ins for characters we haven’t met yet. Norman is a horror movie fan and a natural medium. Dipper is a conspiracy theorist with a grimoire. Parapines could go as either a conspiracy-horror story or as a boys love urban fantasy. I lean toward the boys love urban fantasy.

So, who are the characters that Norman and Dipper represent, and where are they living? The place that springs to mind for me is the Ohio-Pennsylvania border; south of Orangeville, Ohio and north of Ohioville, Pennsylvania. Folktales from both Ohio and Pennsylvania shape the boy’s experiences. This isn’t the only place of course. I expect there to be hundreds of Parapines couples out there, not just in the United States but around the world.

About the boys themselves. I imagine my Norman character to be 11, years old, the youngest of four brothers. I call him Charles Haddock. His brothers are Edward age 15, George age 18, and James age 21. Charles was the ringbearer at his brother James’ wedding. James and his wife Hellen are expecting their first child. Charles’ paternal grandmother also saw and talked to spirits. After she died last year his abilities began to increase. His uncle Paul Greenway (61) got him copies of “How to be a Psychic” by Michael R. Hathaway and “The Witch’s Book of Spirits” by Devin Hunter and is trying to help Charles control his abilities.

My Dipper character is Avery Frost, age 11. The Frost family has been active in both AMORC and the Woodcraft Way since the 1920′s. Avery is the 4th generation in his family to participate. Avery has two older sisters Grace, age 17, and Kelly age 14. Avery’s father is 1st cousin to Paul Greenway and Ann Greenway Haddock (57), meaning that Charles Haddock and Avery Frost are 2nd cousins. Charles and Avery were both born on August 10th and grew up celebrating their birthdays together. Although they are actually 1st cousins once removed Avery calls Paul Greenway Uncle Paul. Paul got Avery two books for his 11th birthday as well; “Charms, Spells and Formulas” by Ray T. Malbrough and “The Temple of Shamanic Witchcraft” by Christopher Penczack.

Charles and Avery are frequent visitors to Uncle Paul’s home. Two books they read often and try to put into practice are “The Tree of Ecstasy” by Dolores Ashcroft-Nowicki and “The Power of Praying Together” by Stormie Omartian with Jack Hayford. When they pray together the boys face each other with fingers interlaced and begin their prayer: “David and Johnathan, Jesus and John”. Last Halloween the boys talked Uncle Paul into taking them out trick or treating dressed as Grunkle Stan from Gravity Falls while Charles went out dressed as Norman and Avery went out dressed as Dipper.

The boys moved into Uncle Pauls house in April when the schools closed early because of the pandemic. Both of the boys have family members working as grocery store clerks and their parents think they’ll be safer at Paul’s place than at home.

Uncle Paul Greenway age 61, is the oldest of four siblings. His three sisters are Ellen 60, Ann 57, and Jane 52. when Paul was a teenager back in the 70′s there was a fad for combining Pennsylvania Dutch Powwow with Hawaiian Magic. Paul was part of that movement combining John George Hohman’s “Pow-wows or, the Long-lost Friend” with “Hawaiian Magic” by Clark Wilkerson. Unlike many of his peers Paul listened to Pow-wow elders when they said “healing is a gift from God and you can’t serve both God and Mammon”, and has never charged for a healing, thus he has kept his pow-wow powers over the decades.

During the 80′s Paul earned a bachelor’s degree in acconting witha minor in art history. He also expanded his magical practice with “Practical Egyptian Magic” by Murry Hope and “Helping Yourself With White Witchcraft: by Al G. Manning. After graduating he got a job as a bookkeeper. He read a copy of “Money is my Friend” by Phil Laut from the public library and has followed the advice to: “save 5%; invest 20%; spend less than the rest’ ever since. It has worked out very well for him. Paul has been investing in intermediate bond funds. When his savings reach $12,000 he rolls $10,000 into an income annuity.

During the 90′s Paul took the exam to become a certified public accountant. He also expanded his magical practice with “Magical Gateways” by Alan Richardson and “The Occult Christ” by Ted Andrews. He also bought a five bedroom ranch house, with two baths, a fireplace and a walk-in pantry in an estate sale.

In the 00′s Paul became a notary. He expanded his magical practice with “Witchcraft and the Shamanic Journey” by Kenneth Johnson and “Secrets of the Magical Grimoirs” by Aaron Leitch. He also read the library copy of “Jesus Last of the Great Pharaohs” by Ralph Ellis but couldn’t decide if it was useful or not.

In the 10′s Paul expanded his magical practice with “The Red Church” by C. R. Bilardi and “The Tree of Enchantment” by Orion Foxwood.

In January of 2020 Paul was forced into early retirement through office politics. He has added “Conjuring Harriet “Mama Moses” Tubman and the Spirits of the Underground Railroad” by Witchdoctor Utu to his practice. The boys are trying to talk him into beekeeping and raising chickens.

Paul does not believe that the Bible is the word of God. He does believe that YHVH is one God among many. For him the Bible is a useful tool. Paul has read the library copies of “Draw the Circle” by Mark Batterson and “Dreamways of the Iroquois” by Robert Moss, and firmly believes in prayer and dreams to guide the boys in applying the Bible to life. He does not have any faith in the seminaries. Family, neighbors, former co-workers and anyone who calls on him to pow-wow for them describes his faith as Folk Christian Fanaticism

Paul is not impressed with zoom classrooms and has asked that the boys’ teachers send him a prospectus so he can make sure the boys are keeping up with their studies. Many parents in the surrounding area agree with him.

For Pinescone fans I include the following option. My Wirt character is Winston Pines age 14, born March 31. Winston had a traumatizing near death experience last year. Winston did not see visions of light and helping relatives, but instead found himself in the hands of malevolent entities. Paul explained to him and his parents that the place he had his accident in was a sprite sink where malevolent spirits gather together and that mere virtue will not protect someone in a place like that. Paul has gifted Winston with copies of “Christian Wicca” by Nancy Chandler Pittman and “Betwixt & Between” by Storm Fairywolf and is helping him work through them. Winston’s parents allowed him to move in with Paul after Charles and Avery moved in, too help Paul manage the younger boys, so they said. Paul pow-wowed for both of Winston’s parents when they themselves were children as well as for Winston when he was younger.

Specializing in luxury womenswear, her dresses can be seen all over the red carpet, across your television screens, and in the most popular of magazines. Right now, I'm dying over her Black Off Shoulder Blazer, the Open Shoulder Jersey Tee, and the Lace Shawl Sleeve Dress. Too bad the holidays are over and I can't put them on my Christmas list. Let's take a look at some of the celebrities who are wearing her designs...

Tell me about the recent launch of your Red Carpet Exclusive Collection. Whatever A-list celebrity wears each piece for Awards Season...the piece will then be produced for my Spring/Summer 2012 collection, named after that celebrity, and a percentage of all sales from that style will go to that celeb's charity of choice. The beautiful Nicole Scherzinger wore our python gown on the X-Factor and chose to donate to "The Dream Campaign 143 Organization”, a cause I find so near to my heart. That's awesome. Such a great idea. I hear you've got so many other celebrity supporters as well like Lisa Vanderpump from the Beverly Hills Housewives.

Lisa, her family, and I are very dear friends. We have a special relationship. She’s a wonderful friend and business woman, who always wants to help her friends. She was one of my first “celebrity” clients to wear a Christina Makowsky design and support my brand. She even had Kyle Richards visit the showroom in New York on an episode of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Oh yeah? I'll have to check out the showroom too next time I'm in the city on a shopping trip! So, tell me about some of the other celebrities that can be seen in your clothing. Paula Abdul, wears my designs frequently on magazine shoots and episodes of X-Factor. Cheryl Burke from Dancing With The Stars wore my line three times in one month! That was very exciting since I’m a huge fan of the show. As the awards season approaches, you will be sure to find me on the carpet!

Oh, I can't wait! So exciting! When did you get into all of this in the first place? I studied at FIT and even graduated with Michael Kors. I had a successful boutique in New York, Georgina Boutiques, for about 28 years. After I did that, I realized the hole in the industry – a real knack for luxury womens wear. It has always been a dream of mine to design great clothing, with the utmost quality – and now the dream is becoming a reality! That truly is an amazing journey. So this was an easy career choice for you then. Absolutely! It has been a dream of mine for as long as I can remember! You've come so far already. What do you see happening with your brand this year? I want my brand to expand and be worn by all the top A-list celebrities, from Anne Hathaway to Cameron Diaz. I want the world to be introduced to Christina Makowsky on all realms – through fashion and philanthropy. Your dresses are without a doubt drop-dead gorgeous. I'm sure they'd jump at the chance... My tweeds and blazers have always done well for me considering they are timeless pieces perfect for the city girl that goes from Uptown Chic to Downtown Edge. Okay, I know that you pride yourself on producing your clothing in limited quantities. Why would you rather go that route as opposed to mass production? I am committed to providing the highest quality clothing made from the finest fabrics. Each piece is inspired by iconic classics that stand the test of time. In order to maintain integrity and exclusivity, my garments are created and sold in limited quantities and will never be mass produced. Once something is mass marketed and produced the luxury quality diminishes. I never want that for my brand. Definitely understandable. So, tell me what makes your dresses stand out on the red carpet. All my pieces are made with the luxury fabrics and hardware, from French lace to vintage crystals. I drive my pattern-maker crazy draping and re-draping to bring my vision to life. I design with the red-carpet in mind, analyzing how a garment will flow and fall on a celebrity. Have you ever thought of designing jewelry to go with your gorgeous garments? As a matter of fact I do! My dear friend Ron Rizzo, has helped me design some wonderful pieces for my line.

Matt writes: With the 91st Academy Awards telecast scheduled to be broadcast this Sunday, February 24th, Collin Souter devotes his latest installment of Short Films in Focus to all of the shorts nominated for Oscars this year (and yes, ALL of the nominees deserve to be televised, as do the entirety of the winners' acceptance speeches in each category). One of the Best Documentary Short Subject nominees, Marshall Curry's "A Night at the Garden" is embedded below, and according to Souter, it appears to have "broken precedent" with its exceptionally brief running time (clocking in just over seven minutes in length).
