The way that Nathan is a poor mixed race queer boy who rejected the system he was born into as a means of survival vs Annalise who is a white (presumably) heterosexual rich girl who is part of a family of enormous privilege who rejects the system she was born into because she realizes it is unjust (and she has the privilege and opportunity to do so) and her power being to blow things apart???

sooooo upset the bastard son and the devil himself was cancelled. like aside from the fact that it was a queer show, the plot, dialogue and characters were some of the best i’ve seen this year. the fantasy world was so interesting and well done, and it was a really good balance between the fantasy plot/world, and drama/romance of the show. the dialogue was really natural and well written as well like especially for teen characters

I relate to nathan byrn because I, too, would consider multiple near-death experiences and being fugitives of the state “good times” if it meant I got to spend that time between annalise obrien and gabriel boutin
