"Welcome to Love Blooms Bakery! We first opened here in Detroit about 10 years ago and have been here ever since. There is some seating outside where you can relax and enjoy your treats! When it's not busy you'll get a clear look inside! You'll often see my daughter, Chloe, decorating our iced cookies or us loading the pastry case early in the mornings!"

"I find it rather cozy up here! My goal was to combine the vibe of my grandmas house and the feel of a small town bakery. She lived in a small town before she moved to Chicago to be closer to us and there was a bakery she'd always take us to when we'd visit her there. I fell in love with the atmosphere and when opening my own shop I knew that I wanted to emulate the same feeling for my guests."

"This is my safe space! Very open and well lit, everyone has plenty of space at their own station, and we always have all that we need. It can get very hot back here though as we are constantly baking throughout the day. Fans and a quick step into the walk-in cooler helps a ton!"

"Everything is eco-friendly, biodegradable, and plastic free! Our boxes are very special as they keep things fresh as if they've just been baked for about 2 weeks and are spill/drop safe. You could drop it down stairs and your baked treats will be just fine! Plus, it's all cute and pink! Although, I may be biased..."

"We are open every Tuesday through Sunday, 9am to 5pm! Please come back again soon and pick up a treat!"

i need to yap about my husband for a min, i miss him and keep thinking about...

how he plays with his hands when he's nervous, the way his voice sounds from the next room over as he practices a presentation for a meeting or for an interview, the way his hair moves as he walks, the weight of his arm as its draped over me in the morning (literally every morning), how his eyebrows furrow and eyes burn as he's working out a problem on a project,

how he can't leave for work or let me leave for work without giving me a kiss on the forehead or getting a kiss on the cheek, how i often find him working at the island in the kitchen despite him having his own office (because i'm often in the kitchen coming up with new recipes and he likes watching me in my element), the way he always has a hair tie on him because he cant focus when his hair is down, how cute he looks in one of his silly graphic tees and pajama pants...

i just love him a lot!!

its wild looking back to when my future baker/Detroit 2038 dr "started" and how my husband came into my life.

one moment I see a pic of him randomly, think "he looks like an asshole." , and now he's my husband who i adore with every fiber of my being. 🤷‍♀️

i find his ass in every reality i shift to now as well, its wild.
