His podcasts are way more entertaining than any current print interview. Before Marvel really pushed to redefine his Steve Rogers image a lot of his interviews were actually fun. He wasn’t reigned in as much. Now it’s the constant wash, rinse, repeat questions and answers.

This might be a controversial take, but I actually loved his appearance on Anna Faris’s Unqualified. Yes, we have to deal with Jenny and him basically flirting with her the entire episode, but he was really unfiltered and let his guard down amongst friends and it was refreshing to see.

I don't think anyone knows the true story behind the Cam and Peyton breakup. Interestingly, they both did the Unqualified podcast with Anna Faris within months of each other, and Cam didn't talk about Peyton as far as I recall. But, she spoke about him quite a bit. And when asked about their breakup she said this:

Meanwhile, when he mentioned (what I believe was) their breakup on his blog, he tied it to the soccer accident he had in 2020 causing him to break his leg.

A little over six months ago, I was playing soccer. A break up that led to an emotionally draining on-again-off-again relationship dynamic had finally ended for good a couple days prior. Perhaps this was why I was trying to distract myself so heavily with athletics.

So, Cam was either talking about someone else and not Peyton, or Peyton was lying about the cold-turkey breakup and it was, in fact, on again off again as he claims. Does anyone if there might've been an interim girl in his life between the Peyton breakup and the start of his relationship with Lauren? I wasn't following them back then.

But anyway, nobody as far as I know, has ever explained the stalking comment or what her dad may have been implying with it.

It was in reference to Chris saying he has a female best friend and his overall love and appreciation for the women in his life. Jenny goes on to say she loves that about him and loves Tara too. God, that podcast is so cringey. He basically spent the entire time trying to pickup Jenny.

Thank you, that's what I was remembering the context as, but it's been so many years now since I listened. I keep having this dreadful feeling I need to listen again, as a refresher for getting into the time period of The Receipts it belongs to. Maybe I'll take a double dose of my anxiety meds one day and dive in, lol.

Okay, so I'm totally into this, and I've just got to volley back.

Chris said something on Unqualified with Anna Faris about his manscaping always being streamlined and ready to go*.

So imagine either you (if you're into /reader) or Seb (if you prefer Evanstan) having to kinda coax Chris into easing up on his meticulous grooming habits. He's resistant at first, his tidiness a combination of what feels comfortable for him and what past partners have preferred.

So it takes some persuading, but eventually, he relents. In the same way that he can go from a clean face to a solid beard faster than should be possible, it's not long before he's as fuzzy as hoped. He's not sure about it at first, until he gets tackled into bed for some especially feral sex.

Yeah, he's willing to adjust his grooming standards slightly, if this is the reaction it gets. It's just one more thing for him to love about autumn. 🍂

He's so fucking hot professor and sweethearted teddy bear at the same time. It's maddening. How am I supposed to drag my thoughts away from him? So, I just keep thinking, and now I'm wondering if, along with letting his beard grow, if he's said fuck it and gone full winter mode, hunkering down, letting his body hair go unmaintained. Just for a little bit. It's getting colder. He's wearing high-necked shirts (with a few delicious exceptions). No one will know if he's not done manscaping in a while...

I don't know, I just can't get my mind off Chris Evans' beard and hairy chest and treasure trail and, Jesus Christ, just everything. Even his forearms and armpits. He's currently somehow both so fucking sophisticated, intellectual professor and also remote mountain man, hairy and smelling like fresh air and sweat, and this just isn't good for my health.

I'm thinking about him backstage, more relaxed, casual, and reaching up under his shirt to scratch his chest for a moment, adjusting himself in his clothes, his nails scratching through his chest hair, his forearm flexing, his arm pulling up his skin-tight shirt, flashing the trail of hair that leads down into his tailored slacks, that flat muscle and the ridges of his Adonis belt...
