the animator vs animation community seemed to suddenly disappear from the communities tab, and me and other members are currently looking into it. for some reason we can't access it currently, and it shows the "failed to load content message". don't be alarmed — this could've happened for different reasons, and i'll make sure that the community will be here one way or another.

we've sent an email to tumblr support and to other communities that have tumblr staff and mods in it — for now, we wait.

Sticktober Day 1 - YouTube

… my art isn’t ready yet, but I figured I could still share a headcanon that’s associated with the prompt and share my art if/whenever it’s ready.

I believe that sometime after Animation vs YouTube took place, Green and Second (and later the others) formed a truce with YouTube, and now they’re all on good terms. (Hence why they can all now use YouTube without any issues.)

I sit alone in my room, my phone is clutched close to my face, the darkness is the apparel i smother myself in.

All my life, i couldn’t find a sanctuary such as the internet, one that loved me for what I do. I think wearily to myself, my thoughts foggy with sleep. my eyelids drift off, but I can only resist, I cant miss a sweet comment from an admirer, I’m not one to let others down.

The “likes”are a savory taste, sweet, but bitter with memories of the times everybody else has proven me weak. Just another reason to distance myself.

I scroll further and further down, comments catch me in a fishnet of praise as i read them.

“For what i do? This isn’t what i do.” A smothered voice echos, a thought that startles me. I push the idea back down, burying it with the others. This is what i do, everything else has let me down.

I'm unsure if Alan would ever revisit a Animation vs YT sequel given the amount of permissions needed, but I do find that idea intriguing! Personally I still see that side of Youtube as a part of Youtube. Maybe the sequel is just Youtube being lighthearted and silly with the stick figures, rather than murderous like last time?
