sometimes i think about how absolutely BANGER Gem's villain aesthetic was in Secret Life. Like, she's got this whole vibe of infection and disease around her and it slaps so hard. First you got the End portal stuff with her arm and eye when she goes Yellow (alongside the implication of her ripping out her own eye to use for the End Portal) and later you have her as Patient Zero for the boogeyman/zombie outbreak. And she kills just as indiscriminately as an epidemic would, including her own allies when they offer themselves to her. Hell, she kills Scott TWICE and technically kills Impulse twice too, once by her own hands and once when Bdubs kills him right in front of her to continue the spread of the curse.
And then you combine all this with the idea of her being a deer and it just gets better. Not only are deer prone to uncanny valley vibes, but they're also extremely susceptible to Chronic Wasting Disease, aka Zombie Deer Disease. Which is scary as shit, like all prion diseases. It literally eats away at the brain and leaves the animal a husk. And it's completely incurable, 100% fatal, and spreads easily (not to humans though, thank fuck.)
Now imagine this diseased horned prey creature hunting and killing whatever gets in its way while infections far beyond its ability to comprehend ravage its body and mind. And everything it kills comes back just as screwed up and terrifying. Very few can fight back against it, let alone slay it. No one is safe, the ones who survive either do so because they're Something Not Human (Grian the Watcher), Already Biologically Dead (ZOMBIECleo) or just got lucky and never got caught (Scott). However, there is one last piece of horror unaccounted for. The carrier, no matter how thin, no matter how much drool leaks from her mouth, no matter how erratic and unholy her behavior, is still aware. Still in control.
There's an independent will behind the spread.
#geminitay#secret life#can you tell i'm still kinda wacky about secret life#the VIBES and AESTHETICS went SO HARD#I warmed up to the whole “zombie apocalypse” with time what can i say#anyways disease is TERRIFYING#PRION DISEASES ESPECIALLY#SECRET LIFE GEM IS SCARY AF FOR THAT. FUCKED UP DISEASED DEER GIRL WHO ONLY A FEW OTHERS CAN GO TOE TO TOE WITH#dose of gem

An Aries Moon can present challenges due to the incompatibility between Mars (which rules Aries) and the Moon. Mars is outwardly focused, action-driven, aggressive, and full of desires, while the Moon is more introspective, focusing on emotions and nurturing. Because of this, Aries Moons struggle with internalizing their emotions; instead, they tend to act on them impulsively. Their emotions don’t get processed internally—they are expressed through immediate action, which often leads to impulsiveness.
Mars is aggressive, while the Moon is nurturing, so Aries Moons often struggle with nurturing others. When they give, it’s often done in an aggressive manner, rather than with emotional warmth or sentimentality. For example, if they want to give you a gift, it may be practical or something you’ve requested, but there’s no underlying emotional connection or thoughtfulness. They act, but they don’t take the time to ponder how their actions may make you feel.
Additionally, Mars is very active, and when placed in the Moon’s emotional position, it makes Aries Moons experience their emotions through actions. For instance, when an Aries Moon feels angry, they will channel it into action—perhaps by hitting a pillow or even a person. If they’re sad, they might act out destructively, such as drinking or indulging in reckless behavior. Emotions for an Aries Moon are always linked to an action, which makes them prone to acting on their feelings without considering the consequences. This makes an Aries Moon potentially volatile, as they don’t simply sit with their emotions—they act on them, which can be highly dangerous. This is why having the Moon in Aries can be a challenging placement.
𝒯𝒶𝓊𝓇𝓊𝓈 ℳℴℴ𝓃 🐂
Taurus and the Moon are in a harmonious position together because Taurus is ruled by Venus, and the Moon appreciates the beauty that Venus brings. This creates a natural compatibility between the two, with Venus enhancing the Moon’s qualities. Venusian energy is associated with physical beauty, and when Taurus occupies the Moon position, it leads to a focus on how one feels, not just how one looks. For example, a Taurus Sun might primarily focus on appearance, and a Taurus Rising might prioritize external beauty. However, a Taurus Moon values not only looking good but also feeling good. They connect their emotions to their physical image and surroundings. If they feel confident and beautiful, they want to express that through their appearance and environment. Their aesthetic is rooted in how they want to feel. For a Taurus Moon, this means creating a space that is calm, peaceful, and aligned with their sense of well-being.
The Venusian energy enhances this by providing a grounding influence. While Taurus Suns or Risings might focus more on surface-level beauty, the Moon’s influence brings a deeper connection to feeling good on the inside and outside. Taurus Moons are natural nurturers, and the Moon’s nurturing energy amplifies this trait. They are more likely to care for others, offer meaningful gifts, prepare beautiful meals, and provide nurturing in a physical, hands-on way. Whether it’s caring for people, animals, or even plants, Taurus Moons enjoy giving love and attention.
Because Taurus is an Earth sign, practicality is also important. This is why this placement is beneficial—while the Moon and Venus bring emotional depth and beauty, Taurus’s Earth nature ensures that the emotions stay grounded. A Taurus Moon seeks balance, ensuring that their emotions are steady and manageable. While Libra might be known for seeking balance, Taurus Moons crave stability in their emotions. They want to feel loved, appreciated, and calm. When their emotions become intense, Taurus Moons prefer to ground themselves, bringing their emotions back to a peaceful, centered state. This makes the Taurus Moon a particularly stable and nurturing placement for the Moon.
𝒢ℯ𝓂𝒾𝓃𝓊 ℳℴℴ𝓃 👯
For Gemini Moons, this is not an ideal placement because Gemini is ruled by Mercury, an air sign. First, being ruled by Mercury means that when it comes to their emotions, Gemini Moons prefer to talk about them and think through them. This leads to a certain detachment from their feelings, as they focus more on analyzing and processing their emotions rather than experiencing them directly. They often struggle to understand how they truly feel because they don’t give themselves enough time to simply feel before trying to dissect, analyze, or communicate it.
In an air sign like Gemini, this detachment is further emphasized. Instead of experiencing their emotions from a deep, emotional realm, they approach them from a rational, intellectual perspective. These individuals aren’t as concerned with feeling or understanding why they feel a certain way; instead, they focus on expressing what the emotion is and how it impacts them or others on a rational level. In this placement, the Moon—associated with emotions and the heart—clashes with Mercury’s intellectual and analytical nature. The Moon doesn’t like being in a position where it’s reduced to mere analysis, as it seeks to be felt deeply, not processed or dissected.
Additionally, Gemini is more social and communicative, but not particularly nurturing. When it comes to nurturing, Gemini Moons express it through social interactions—talking, sharing ideas, and engaging in conversation. This is a form of giving, but it’s not the type of nurturing the Moon seeks. The Moon prefers emotional depth and connection, and Gemini’s form of nurturing feels unconventional and may not be perceived as nurturing by others.
While the Moon is introspective, Gemini Moons tend to introspect in a theoretical, logical way, focusing on ideas and intellectual processes rather than diving into the emotional depths. As a result, the Moon feels neglected in this placement, as it is not being seen or honored in its true form. Gemini Moons are more focused on others and on how their emotions might impact people intellectually, but their emotional depth is often overlooked. This creates discomfort for the Moon, making this an uneasy position.
𝒞𝒶𝓃𝒸ℯ𝓇 ℳℴℴ𝓃 🦀
The Cancer Moon is at home in this position because the Moon is conjunct with the Moon, which amplifies and intensifies the Moon’s energy. The Cancer Moon is deeply introspective and processes emotions by truly feeling them. They don’t just acknowledge their emotions—they experience them deeply and try to understand the root of their feelings. They seek emotional depth by reflecting on why they feel the way they do and striving to understand the underlying causes.
Cancer Moons are natural nurturers, and this instinct is only heightened in this placement. They have a strong desire to care for others, tend to things, and make everyone feel comfortable and cozy. With both the Moon and Cancer aligning, their emotions are strongly connected to the heart. They don’t analyze their feelings intellectually; instead, they experience and process them from within, allowing the Moon’s energy to flow freely through them. This enables them to be fully in tune with their emotional nature.
The Moon, being cyclical, runs in phases, and since Cancer is ruled by the Moon, they naturally align with this cycle. They don’t feel disoriented by the Moon’s changing phases; rather, they’ve adapted to this ebb and flow of emotions. Their emotions constantly change, and their mind, body, and heart are accustomed to this fluidity. In this position, the Moon feels at ease and comfortable, allowing Cancer Moons to experience their emotions fully. They feel deeply, and although they may not always enjoy the unpleasant emotions, they appreciate the process of feeling.
This connection to their feelings is what makes Cancer intuitive. By not overthinking their emotions, they are able to tap into their gut instincts and connect to their hearts, which enhances their intuition. Feeling deeply is also part of what makes them empathetic and understanding. Having navigated their own emotional experiences, Cancer Moons have developed a deep compassion and understanding for others, making them sensitive to the emotions of those around them.
ℒℯℴ ℳℴℴ𝓃 🦁
Leo in the Moon position is not ideal because Leo is ruled by the Sun, which thrives on shining brightly, bringing radiance, and being extroverted. The Sun loves to be seen, while the Moon is dark, elusive, and introverted. When the Sun’s energy is applied to the Moon, it forces the Moon to take on qualities that are inherently contradictory to its nature. The Moon no longer seeks to remain hidden and introverted; instead, it is compelled to radiate and be visible. This makes the Leo Moon person uncomfortable because the Moon’s natural tendency is to be internal, introspective, and private.
In this position, Leo’s desire for attention, recognition, and validation becomes more pronounced. The Moon, which typically hides emotions, is now shining them into the open. The result is a person who feels vulnerable, yet Leo’s pride resists vulnerability. They are torn between the internal, private nature of the Moon and the outward, attention-seeking energy of Leo. This creates a struggle, as the Leo Moon person is compelled to show their emotions but doesn’t want to be vulnerable or exposed.
This dynamic can create a situation where, during times of intense emotion, the Leo Moon’s feelings become apparent to everyone. They may wear their emotions on their sleeve, but once those emotions fade, they retreat into a more secretive or elusive state, creating an inconsistent and sometimes confusing emotional expression.
Ultimately, Leo Moons experience a dichotomy: they crave recognition, yet their pride keeps them from openly showing their vulnerability. The Moon’s natural tendency to hide and internalize is at odds with Leo’s desire to be seen and acknowledged. This creates an uncomfortable tension for the Leo Moon person, as the Moon wants to dim the Sun’s shine, but Leo’s sun-like energy ensures that their emotions are inevitably exposed.
𝒱𝒾𝓇𝑔ℴ ℳℴℴ𝓃 🌾
The Virgo Moon is a better placement for the Moon than the Gemini Moon because, while Gemini is ruled by Mercury and governed by the air element, the air energy takes us too far from what the Moon craves. The Moon seeks emotional depth and connection, but the air element creates a discrepancy with the Moon’s nature. Gemini’s emotional process is more intellectual, cerebral, and detached, leading to a lack of true emotional engagement. In contrast, Virgo shares similarities with Gemini in terms of processing, rationalizing, and analyzing emotions, often leaning into their intellect. However, Virgo is an earth sign, and the earth element provides the Moon with grounding, which Gemini’s air energy cannot.
The earth element offers a stable, absorbing quality that allows the Moon’s emotions to be grounded. Earth is like a sponge that absorbs water, creating a safe and stable space for emotional energy to flow, just like water washing up on sand. This grounding is beneficial for the Moon because it allows emotions to be processed in a more stable, less chaotic way. Therefore, the Virgo Moon is not a terrible position for the Moon.
However, the Virgo Moon struggles with perfectionism and refinement, which can be challenging in the emotional realm. Virgo has a natural desire to improve and perfect, and this trait extends to their emotions. Instead of fully feeling and experiencing their emotions, Virgo strives to purify them and make them “better.” Since emotions are fluid and ever-changing, this can lead to frustration. A Virgo Moon might try to move from a sad emotional state to a happy one without truly dealing with the sadness, attempting to refine their feelings to reach a more “acceptable” emotional state.
For example, a Virgo Moon might feel sad but won’t want to experience that sadness. They will try to shift themselves into a more positive emotion, such as happiness, without fully processing the sadness. In doing so, Virgo may engage in activities like shopping, socializing, or working on a project, all in an effort to “fix” their emotional state. However, this avoidance means they don’t truly engage with their feelings. Instead, they try to move from one emotional state to another, leaving little room for introspection or genuine emotional expression.
This desire for emotional refinement can also impact their interactions with others. When someone around a Virgo Moon is sad, the Virgo might try to “fix” the situation by offering solutions or suggesting ways to be happy, rather than simply sitting with the person’s emotions. This can come across as lacking empathy or compassion, as they are more focused on changing the emotional state than truly understanding or supporting the person.
While this grounding and attempt to stabilize emotions are helpful compared to the Gemini Moon’s purely intellectual approach, the Virgo Moon’s tendency to overanalyze and attempt to perfect emotions makes this placement less ideal for the Moon. Still, it is a better placement than the Gemini Moon, where emotional engagement is often too detached and cerebral. At least the Virgo Moon is trying to ground and process emotions, even if it struggles with perfectionism and emotional avoidance.
ℒ𝒾𝒷𝓇𝒶 ℳℴℴ𝓃 ⚖️
The Libra Moon is not a terrible position for the Moon; it has both good qualities and some discrepancies, much like the Virgo Moon. Libra is ruled by Venus, and Venus is attracted to the Moon because they share an affinity for what the other offers. Venus enjoys the essence of the Moon, and the Moon enjoys the essence of Venus. Both bring beauty to the table, but they express it in different ways. Venus is more external, while the Moon is internal, creating a dynamic where they complement each other, but not always in harmony.
Libra, however, is an air sign, and air energy does not naturally align with the Moon’s qualities. Air is about facts, concrete knowledge, analysis, socialization, and communication. The Moon, on the other hand, is an internal, emotional planet, not focused on socializing. The combination of Libra’s air energy with the Moon’s internal nature creates a bit of a disconnect. While Libra desires connection, communication, and social engagement, the Moon encourages introspection, making it harder for Libra to express these desires outwardly.
People with a Libra Moon have a deep yearning for human connection—they want nothing more than to be around people, relate to others, and form bonds. However, this desire remains internalized. They feel the need for connection, but they don’t always express it, which can lead to a sense of longing for closeness without fully understanding how to achieve it. This emotional need is intensified by the Venusian influence, as Libra Moons are naturally inclined to love and connect with others.
The challenge for a Libra Moon is that, while they crave connection, they often lose touch with their own emotions in the process. They can become so focused on the need for connection that they lose their own emotional perspective. This desire for connection can lead to people-pleasing tendencies. If a Libra Moon cannot find the relationships they desire, they may resort to people-pleasing just to form connections, as their emotional world revolves around these connections.
Libra Moons also struggle with being alone. They find it difficult to exist without others, and being alone can feel uncomfortable. One of the complexities of the Libra Moon is that, being an air sign, they do not naturally express their emotions in a genuine, heartfelt way. Instead, they tend to rationalize their feelings, often explaining their emotions with logic and reason. This can give the impression that they are not being truthful about their emotions, especially to water signs, who are more in tune with their emotional depths. A Libra Moon might seem like they’re lying, but in reality, they’re simply processing their emotions intellectually. They may present a rational explanation for why they feel a certain way, even though this reasoning doesn’t necessarily reflect the true emotional experience beneath the surface.
While this is not a bad placement, it can be challenging for people who think that constantly seeking connection is a negative trait. The Libra Moon’s emotional world centers around finding connection, but the rationalization of their feelings can create a disconnection with their true emotional nature. It may not be the best placement for the Moon, but it is certainly not the worst.
𝒮𝒸ℴ𝓇𝓅𝒾ℴ ℳℴℴ𝓃 🦂
A Scorpio Moon is a very afflicted placement for the Moon, and many people don’t understand why. They often think that since the Moon represents emotions and Scorpio is a water sign—associated with emotions—it should be a perfect match. However, this is not the case, and we’re going to explore why.
First, Scorpio is ruled by two planets: Mars and Pluto. As we discussed with the Aries Moon earlier, Mars energy is active and impulsive, often driving individuals to act on their emotions rather than process them. The Moon, however, prefers to process emotions and reflect on them. The Martian energy is not compatible with the Moon’s more introspective nature, and this is the same issue with the Scorpio Moon. While Scorpio is ruled by Mars, it also has Pluto as a co-ruler, which adds another layer of complexity.
Mars energy makes the Scorpio Moon impulsive with their emotions. They tend to act on their feelings without taking time to process them, just as Aries does. However, the difference with Scorpio is that Pluto’s energy transforms this emotional impulsiveness. Pluto brings darkness and depth to the Scorpio Moon’s emotions. It is a heavy, intense, and transformative energy that deals with trauma, pain, and regeneration.
So why doesn’t the Moon thrive in this position? The Moon is introspective and emotional, but it is not equipped to handle the extreme depths of Pluto’s energy. While Scorpio’s introspection aligns with the Moon’s need for self-reflection, Pluto requires individuals to dive into the darkest, rawest parts of themselves, accessing emotions from a place of deep trauma. The Moon deals with our everyday, cyclical emotions, but Pluto takes Scorpio Moons to a far more intense and profound emotional depth. This makes their emotions incredibly intense and difficult for the Moon to process, as they are not accustomed to such deep, heavy feelings.
The Scorpio Moon feels emotions so deeply that the Moon struggles to understand how to deal with them. The emotional intensity is extreme, and emotions linger for long periods due to Pluto’s influence. This slow, transformative process stands in contrast to the Moon’s tendency to move more quickly through emotions. Pluto’s slow-moving energy means that Scorpio Moons feel their emotions for a long time, transforming them at their core. This creates an imbalance because the Moon, which seeks comfort and security, is at odds with Scorpio’s desire for change and transformation. The Moon seeks familiarity and coziness, while Scorpio seeks the opposite—radical transformation. The Moon doesn’t feel comfortable with Pluto’s need to change and disrupt, and Scorpio is not naturally inclined to nurture emotions in a comforting way.
Furthermore, Scorpio is not inherently a nurturing sign. While it knows how to be intimate, sexual, and aggressive, it doesn’t excel at nurturing in the way the Moon typically desires. Scorpio’s energy is more about intimacy and deep connection rather than the comfort and care that the Moon craves. For Scorpio Moons, nurturing often comes through sexual intimacy or deep emotional connections, but not in the traditional sense of nurturing.
In summary, the Scorpio Moon is an extremely intense and difficult placement. It deals with deep, dark emotions that the Moon is not accustomed to handling. The Moon’s desire for comfort and stability is at odds with Scorpio’s transformative, uncomfortable energy. This placement often indicates that the individual has experienced deep trauma or pain in their life—something that has left a lasting impact. It is one of the most challenging placements for the Moon, as the emotional depths and intensity are difficult to manage, and there is little room for the Moon’s usual processing and reflection.
𝒮𝒶𝑔𝒾𝓉𝓉𝒶𝓇𝒾𝓊𝓈 ℳℴℴ𝓃 🏹
The Sagittarius Moon is generally considered to be in a good position, though it does have its caveats. This placement benefits from the combination of the Moon and Jupiter, which together create a person who is typically upbeat, light-hearted, and enjoys having fun. Jupiter’s energy brings abundance to emotions, amplifying whatever the Sagittarius Moon feels. This means that when a Sagittarius Moon feels happy, they feel truly joyous and excited, and their optimism is contagious. Jupiter’s influence instills an overall sense of hope, making them confident that they can overcome challenges, even when they feel down.
However, there are drawbacks to this placement as well. While Jupiter’s energy is expansive, the Moon seeks comfort and security. This creates a conflict because the Sagittarius Moon craves emotional comfort but also has a strong desire to expand and move forward. The Moon’s energy doesn’t always align with Sagittarius’ need for constant growth and exploration, leading to a tension between wanting emotional stability and the urge to push forward. As a result, Sagittarius Moons often find it difficult to fully process their emotions, as their desire to keep moving forward can cause them to detach from their feelings.
This detachment means that Sagittarius Moons often prioritize their beliefs over their emotions. The Moon calls for emotional reflection, while Sagittarius, ruled by Jupiter, focuses on beliefs and the expansion of knowledge. As a result, the Sagittarius Moon may become more absorbed in their beliefs, sometimes to the point of being inflexible. This can create challenges, as their emotions may conflict with their beliefs, causing them to suppress or discard their feelings. Similarly, if someone else’s emotions challenge their beliefs, the Sagittarius Moon may distance themselves from that person in order to maintain their sense of forward momentum and optimism.
Despite these challenges, the Sagittarius Moon can be a very positive placement in certain respects. When they are happy, their energy is contagious, and others are often drawn to their enthusiasm. However, the expansive nature of Jupiter means that when a Sagittarius Moon is sad or angry, those emotions are also amplified, and their intensity can affect those around them. In summary, while the Sagittarius Moon brings an abundance of optimism and confidence, it also requires a balancing act between emotional detachment and the need for emotional growth.
𝒞𝒶𝓅𝓇𝒾𝒸ℴ𝓇𝓃 ℳℴℴ𝓃 🐐
The Capricorn Moon is considered a challenging position for the Moon because Capricorn is ruled by Saturn. Saturn’s energy is inherently heavy, but it differs from the intensity of Pluto’s energy. While Pluto seeks to delve into the depths of things to transform them, Saturn focuses on long-term goals, requiring persistence through obstacles to achieve success. This creates a tension with the Moon, which is centered on emotions, comfort, and nurturing. Saturn, by contrast, is not concerned with emotions but with structure, discipline, and responsibility.
In this position, Capricorn Moons often feel like their emotions are another task or duty they must manage. They approach their emotions with a sense of responsibility or work, rather than simply feeling and processing them naturally. This makes it difficult for them to connect with their emotional needs because they feel a constant pressure to focus on achievement, future goals, and meeting expectations. This drive to “do” rather than “feel” can leave them struggling with a sense of inadequacy, as Saturn’s heavy energy creates a burden of responsibility and the belief that they must constantly prove themselves or succeed in life.
Saturn’s influence dampens the Moon’s natural emotional expression, making the emotions more serious, rigid, and subdued. While the Moon doesn’t inherently dislike seriousness, Saturn’s rigid nature often leads to emotional repression. Capricorn Moons tend to suppress their feelings over long periods, focusing instead on long-term objectives. However, because the Moon is deeply emotional and cyclical, this suppression can build up over time, leading to emotional triggers that release those pent-up feelings in intense ways.
Another challenge is the fundamental difference in pacing. The Moon is fast-moving and cyclical, while Saturn is slow and deliberate. Capricorn Moons often struggle to process emotions quickly, preferring to move through them slowly, which can make them feel disconnected from the present. This slowness, combined with Saturn’s heaviness, can create a sense of emotional darkness or neglect. The Moon finds Saturn’s harsh and rigid energy uncomfortable, as it conflicts with the Moon’s need for comfort and fluidity.
Overall, the Capricorn Moon carries a sense of emotional duty, often prioritizing long-term goals and external expectations over immediate emotional needs. While this placement can create disciplined and resilient individuals, it also requires conscious effort to address and process emotions in a healthy and present way.
𝒜𝓆𝓊𝒶𝓇𝒾𝓊𝓈 ℳℴℴ𝓃 🪣
Aquarius moons, like Capricorn moons, share Saturn as a ruler. This gives Aquarius moons a certain similarity to Capricorn moons, particularly in their serious approach to emotions, focus on accomplishments, and drive toward achievement and upholding societal norms. However, Aquarius also has Uranus as its co-ruler. This dual rulership creates a unique dynamic: while Saturn represents structure, discipline, and tradition, Uranus introduces a rebellious, future-focused energy that shakes things up.
The moon, by its nature, is tied to the past and thrives on comfort, emotional security, and absorption. In contrast, Uranus is abrupt, chaotic, and forward-looking, creating a natural tension. Uranus dislikes the moon’s focus on the past, while the moon resists Uranus’s erratic and disruptive energy. The moon also leans toward emotional depth and nurturing, whereas Uranus prioritizes intellect, innovation, and progression, often disregarding emotional needs.
For Aquarius moons, this means detachment becomes a necessity. To stay aligned with their cerebral, air-driven qualities, they often distance themselves from the emotional core of situations. Uranus thrives on change—abrupt, unexpected change that is not like Pluto’s deep, transformative cycles. Uranian change is sudden and driven by a need for novelty and forward movement. Anytime Saturn’s steady and traditional energy feels too dominant, Uranus intervenes, creating abrupt pivots to maintain newness and progress.
This is where the moon struggles. The moon craves cycles, predictability, and nurturing energy. Uranus, however, rejects cycles in favor of unpredictability and progression. For Aquarius moons, emotions can feel like a burden, something that slows them down. They often detach from emotional matters to focus on innovation, the bigger picture, and collective ideals.
While the moon moves quickly through predictable phases, Uranus is erratic and wild, disrupting the moon’s natural rhythm. Aquarius moons, therefore, feel pulled between these conflicting energies. They may neglect or suppress their emotions to prioritize intellect and future-oriented goals. Their focus is on propelling society forward, often at the expense of personal emotional connection and intimate nurturing.
This is why the moon is uncomfortable in Aquarius. It’s not the worst placement, but it’s far from ideal. The moon prefers the warmth and emotional depth of water or the stability and grounding of earth. Air signs, especially Aquarius with its erratic Uranian influence, can feel too detached and cerebral for the moon’s natural tendencies.
In summary, Aquarius moons prioritize intellect, innovation, and the future. They often struggle to connect emotionally and tend to suppress their feelings to avoid being weighed down. This makes them focused on societal progression and big ideals, but it also creates tension with the moon’s inherent need for emotional connection, security, and nurturing cycles.
𝒫𝒾𝓈𝒸ℯ𝓈 ℳℴℴ𝓃 🐠
The Pisces moon tends to thrive in this position because Pisces is a water sign, naturally connected to emotions, just as the moon is. Both energies resonate with intuition, sensitivity, and emotional depth. However, there’s a tricky dynamic with Pisces due to its co-rulers, Neptune and Jupiter.
Neptune and the moon can work harmoniously, but this combination can also distort reality. The Neptunian influence in Pisces can amplify traits like imagination and emotional depth, but it can also exasperate a lack of grounding, practicality, or realism. This placement may cause individuals to become lost in their imagination or emotions, creating a stark contrast with reality.
Neptune governs illusions, dreams, and the unseen, which aligns with the moon’s internal and intuitive nature. The moon feels at ease with this energy, as it also operates in the realm of the inner world. However, the moon craves comfort and emotional security, whereas Pisces, influenced by Jupiter, seeks freedom, exploration, and expansion. Jupiter’s energy pushes the Pisces moon beyond the moon’s preferred comfort zone, while Neptune pulls it further into imagination and transcendence.
The result is a delicate balancing act. On the one hand, the Neptunian influence fuels creativity, intuition, and emotional expression. On the other hand, it can lead to escapism, elusiveness, and a detachment from reality. Pisces moons often internalize their emotions through imagination, creating a feedback loop where their feelings and fantasies feed into each other, blurring the lines between reality and illusion.
Jupiter’s expansive nature further complicates this. It craves abundance, freedom, and boundlessness, which can conflict with the moon’s need for security and routine. Additionally, Neptune’s tendency to filter experiences through rose-colored glasses can create deception or delusion. The moon, lacking discernment beyond intuition, internalizes these imagined realities, making delusions feel emotionally real and deeply believed.
Without grounding influences, such as earth energy in the chart, a Pisces moon can become entirely unmoored, caught in its imagination and fantasies with little connection to the real world. This lack of grounding can make it difficult for them to establish boundaries or take responsibility, leading to chaos and emotional overwhelm.
While the Pisces moon is not a bad placement, it can become problematic when overly influenced by Neptune’s boundless, dreamy energy and Jupiter’s expansive, freedom-seeking tendencies. The combination may result in emotional chaos, lack of direction, and detachment from reality.
In essence, the Pisces moon thrives in the emotional and intuitive realm, but its challenge lies in integrating this rich internal world with external reality. Without balance, it risks becoming too free-spirited, too unbounded, and too focused on the imaginary, losing touch with the grounded, practical elements of life.

Hiii! I asked this question on the ‘Osana’ Reddit and you said you had more, SOOOO: What are all of your headcanons for the Male Rivals?? General Headcanons pretty pretty please :3
Haiii! Good to see you on here ^w^ & ofc!
(Also ignore the fact half of them don't get fun pictures or a gif I'm posting from the app lol xD)
General Male Rivals Head cannons!
Osano Najime
He is stupidly good at playground games (like rock paper scissors, go fish, etc) to the point where nobody wanted to play with him as a kid because they knew he'd win.
Favorite Pixar movie is inside out.
He actually is really good friends with Hanako. They both spend a ridiculous amount of money on blind bags together. And whenever Osano goes to the store he keeps an eye out for ones Hanako would like.
And Hanako has made him a friendship bracelet, which Osano being the tsundere he is, promptly pretended to hate it but still wears it as an anklet to this day.
Has helped organize fund raisers for local animal shelters and veterinary emergency rooms.
I feel like he has contact lenses and wore glasses in middle school. Whenever he's doing his judgemental stare his friends if he's put his contacts in that day.
He gets really into decorating and customizing his phone, like changes his whole layout, stick, phone charms, pop socket, app overlays, wallpaper, depending on what season it is.
Reads shojo manga but pretends to hate it.
^ his favorite is fruits basket
Amao Odayaka
One time he was at his great grandma's house making sourdough bread, and he accidentally slammed it on the old wooden counter so hard that he made a hole which the dough fell through to the cabinet shelf below. So not only did he break a counter he also had to scrap the whole batch. That memory haunts him and keeps him up at night.
Impulsively buys every apron he sees. He has a whole section of his closet purely dedicated to aprons.
Favorite movie is ratatouille, naturally.
He is uh, a little dense when it comes to social cues. He's nice don't get me wrong, just he isn't very good at getting sarcasm.
His favorite deserts to make are macarons and pound cake.
He has a love-hate relationship with the Gordon Ramsay show 'Hell's Kitchen' because he gets ridiculously mad at the condition the kitchens are always in. But he loves seeing the before and afters.
He runs the cooking club like a pirate ship tbh, he usually has to break up fights between the members. Except for Saki because she minds her own beeswax.
Kizano Sunobu
He has played many, many, roles in theater such as: The Wicked Stepmother From Cinderella, The Phantom of the opera, The Rat King, King George the third in Hamilton, and many more.
He can sing quite well, and took gymnastics lessons as a child so he could very much be considered a quadruple threat. (Singing, Acting, Dancing, and Acrobatics.)
Went to a preforming arts high school, but due to his family moving he had to transfer to Akademi.
His favorite animated movies are Leap! And Anastasia. Although he does have a love for old Disney aesthetics.
He has quite sensitive skin, being allergic to glycerin, so he has to be very particular about what products he buys.
Kizano plans on becoming a Broadway actor once he graduates, and because of that he is fluent in both Japanese and english, and is working on learning Spanish.
He really appreciates the club members who are stage hands, always making sure to thank them after every show.
While he is cocky, egotistical, and down right self centered at times, he does truly appreciate his club members.
He has some, interesting opinions on the other club leaders...
He likes and appreciates Amao, mainly because they both have an unyielding passion for their respective fields.
He hates and despises Asuo, because he finds him too relaxed and annoyingly positive.
He in fact does not know Oko exists.
Oko Ruto
Is very good at sewing due in part to the fact he likes to replace the button hole embroidery on his white shirts to a beige tone and the buttons to match his eyes, making it look like his buttons are eyeballs. Also because sewing comes in handy for occult/supernatural shenanigans.
Likes to visit graveyards to see if there's any intriguing tomb stones. Like funny last words, statues of the dead, intriguing ways a person died, ect.
^ he is very respectful though, only really approaching graves that are particularly old.
The occult club does more than just stalking students and summoning demons. they also practice ways to tell the future, speak to ghosts, birth chart and palm readings, and alien investigation night. (Held every other Tuesday.)
He watches BuzzFeed unsolved supernatural. Because weirdly enough true crime gives him the creeps but not ghosts and ghouls.
His favorite animated movies are, Spirited Away, Alice in wonderland, and Paranorman.
His father was a paranormal investigator, but has major Dale Gribble vibes so safe to say he runs an occult goods shop with tarot cards, oujia boards, future reading tea and eggs, and more now after being 'encouraged to retire'.
His mother is a practicing psychic who was actually brought in to help solve the murders at Akademi. She now runs an in store future reading service. Personality wise she's very much so like Jessica Rabbit, sweet charming, and a showman at heart.
Asuo Rito
This man seems like a golden retriever and he is, but sweet Lord does he not actually process his emotions. Everytime he gets upset over something he just throws himself further into training regiments.
Has like seven dogs currently and overall in his life he's had twenty.
Enjoys all sports but knows he should be focusing on just one, but he just can't pick. He enjoys track and field best, but that could just because that's what he wins the most medals for....
Took one martial arts lesson when he was ten and Budo accidentally broke his nose. Swore off martials arts ever since.
Speaking of which, childhood friends with Budo, although at first they didn't like each other because they were on opposing soccer teams.
He in fact does not know Kizano has one sided beef with him. He thinks of all the club leaders as his friends, except Kaga, he finds him creepy.
Favorite animated movie is the Incredibles.
Man is his and his teams own cheerleader, doing full on chants and cartwheels at swim meets.
^ has accidentally cartwheeled into the pool, DURING A RACE.
Mujo Kano
This man would make a better mortician than a nurse! He always gets hung up on fixing patients hair rather than filling out important paperwork.
Studying to be a pediatrician, specifically specializing in infants.
Has an unhealthy build a bear problem. He builds a bear every week and they have invaded his couch, bed, and shelves.
He is a walking disaster. Someone save him.
Osoro Shidesu
Chain smoker, no further elaboration.
He's weirdly stoic, like definitely not a party person, despite being a delinquent hooligan he reminds sorta like an old timey knight.
Rbf to the max, man came into this world with a scowl. There's not a single picture of him in his childhood where he doesn't look like a hell spawn.
Good at cooking in the same way a shady Denny's chef is good at cooking. Like cigarette in hand, cussing under his breath, while making the best funfeitti pancakes known to man.
It brings joy to his grinchy little soul to see a slug bug. Like in ironically giggles when he sees one.
Also thinks clowns are hilarious. In another life he'd be a shady circus owner.
He either has the cutest softest smile known to man, or the creepiest smirk ever.
Favorite animated movie, Up and lady and the tramp.
At his core he does believe in fairness. If a guy is harassing a waitress he won't hesitate to take him outside iykyk.
Hanako Yamada
Has gotten his arm stuck in an arcade machine after trying to just grab the plushie he wanted. The fire station was called and had to help get him out.
Wears keychains on his belt loops of his favorite characters like Keroppi, Hello Kitty and Mimi, and Happy from fairy tail.
Is actually not that social around those he doesn't know, personally I like to think he has some form of social anxiety which prevents from getting close to many people.
The reason why he dresses so cutely is that he figured that even if people stared at him, at least he'd know why rather than just being clueless.
Favorite animated movie is the toy story saga which he cries to every time he rewatches.
Really enjoys playing matchmaker with people he knows, for example in middle school he introduced his aunt to his homeroom teacher, leading for them to get married three years later.
Loves playing animal Crossing (and spending a ridiculous amount on leaf tickets in pocket camp)
Has an absurd amount of plushies, except he does know how to stack them properly to make it seem like he only has a few.
Is studying to be an architect or interior designer, he hasn't quite decided yet but he hopes to someday make homes that'll reflect his clients essence.
Has two pet hamsters, Hamtaro and Hamantha.
Megamo Saikou
Denser than cement when it comes to how much things cost. Not like business expenses because he's been trained for that, but he does think a loaf of bread costs twenty bucks.
Was a premature baby and had a heart problem causing him to be rushed into surgery nearly immediately after being born.
Would be studying to be a brain surgeon if he wasn't set in stone to inherit the company.
Actually rather appreciates the arts, such as art galleries and musical theater.
Favorite animated movie is sleeping beauty.
Likes to people watch, he finds it amusing to see how others live.
Is a horrible cook, like cannot make box Mac n cheese.

Hey do you want to make a post going more in-depth about the similarities/differences between the Grand Inquisitor's and Barriss's Inquisifits and what can be extrapolated from that thematically (you know you do) (this is bait)
well :) if you INSIST
let's start off by briefly establishing the relationship between these two (or more appropriately one lack thereof): the grand inquisitor is implied, and confirmed by word-of-god, to be one of the temple guards present during the temple bombing trial, an event which aided in his descent to the dark side. barriss's speech spoke to doubts he already harbored about the order, and her own criticisms of the order confirmed a very particular bias of his about the jedi, one antithetical to the intention of barriss's speech which spoke to a collective disregard for the tenants of jedi order, namely that "fighting for dark-side" had warped the core of their belief system. we've been shown that every one of the grand inquisitor's choices has been made in selfishness, not selflessness. his many resentments and grievances are rooted in personal dissatisfaction and inadequacy with himself, that the jedi order did not balm his hurt is what led to his ultimate repudiation of it. barriss's resentments and grievances are rooted in a deep love for the jedi order that raised, loved, and respected her. they both felt betrayed by the order's misrepresentation of itself, but the grand inquisitor wrongly attributed barriss's feelings of betrayal to his.
now with that groundwork laid, let's talk about the threads! working top-down: the moment barriss defeats dante, her inquisitor helmet is presented to her. it was forged for her before she landed the killing blow. she had no say in its creation. the grand inquisitor is this coven's proud leader; he is responsible for his flock and fortress, and he chose this for her.
a replica, a replicated lapse in self-indulgence, a moment in time where barriss lets her darker impulses, her anger and her hatred, have their say. its design is slightly adjusted to better fit barriss and the inquisitorius' aesthetic, and in there is the implication she is wanted by this empire, she is an asset to this same regime she warned the republic of. we know she regrets the acts of violence she committed under duress as evidenced by both the remorseful expression she shoots ahsoka and by this deleted scene where she explicitly apologizes to her. but the grand inquisitor does not want her moving past this moment. it's a deep well of emotional turmoil that the dark side is eager to drink from. he wants her stewing in it, and 'it' taking the shape of a mode of sensory deprivation is a very happy coincidence! the dark side is at once a state of stasis and parasitism; it successfully feeds off of isolation and hyperfixation, oftentimes from a particularly traumatic event. barriss is forced to become the face of the darkest, most regrettable moment in her life, one where she becomes the betrayer. it reopens wounds which remind her she can operate as both aggressor and aggrieved. it strips her of a voice, modifies her speech, while also working as effective blinkers (blinders/tacks like those used on animals to limit their discernment). the former perpetually-masked temple guard is well acquainted with this hell and assuming the role of traitor! we'll get into his projection in a moment.
after barriss is given her 'gift', we hard cut to her now in full regalia. it's very in medias res; she seems to be in conversation with the grand inquisitor before the rest of the inquisitorius' fledgling brothers and sisters enter the scene. whatever might have been said is left up to our imagination, but judging by both of their expressions, i imagine it was a threat veiled in niceties, much like her 'gift'.
to understand how the grand inquisitor implements fashion mirroring (projection by any other name!) here, you should first have a keen familiarity with the visual language of the inquisitorius' aesthetic sensibilities so to properly pick apart what differentiates barriss's uniform from the rest of the herd's. unifying elements of inquisitors' uniforms are the use of black, grays, and reds, as well as a liberal application of plate-adjacent armour, and some ribbing which likely allows for better mobility.
here we have mommy dearest doing his capital best to suit up his mini-she. most notable are the silhouette's pauldrons and the piece of armour that is something between chest plate and gorget (his gorget has been readapted to be more pronounced/realistic since its inception in rebels and appearance in owk). minor details like the boots and imitation vambraces are also of note, but what i prefer to focus on is the how and why. there is a deliberate likeness, but it's as if hers had its edges sanded down. making her appear less threatening invites predation. it's not enough that she has proven herself capable of murdering her competition, she must remain in a state of hypervigilance around her brothers and sisters. this parasite has a varied palate! fear is a nice little amouse-bouche to rage. the grand inquisitor wants her skills in the dark-side ever-honed and improved upon if she's to be a testament to not just his teachings, but him. see, barriss does not exist to him as a person. since the trial, she has existed conceptually and amorphously to him as an extension of himself and his own issues with the order, but they do not share the same sentiments regarding the order's issues. their dynamic, in truth, more closely resembles that of a narcissistic parent and their child. the child apprentice exists simultaneously to placate his wounded ego, and to fill a void left by (self-imposed) loneliness. i find it a very appropriate representation of this brand of narcissism, to have their authentic relationship be expressed through the medium of costume; it's external, but rarely superficial, it's an assignment, and it's imposed, but unveils so much about both characters' true natures.

“But Kris, if I wanted to watch Anim vs. with all the different series how should I even go about it??”
It largely depends on the topics and cast you’re interested in seeing. The show is split into three subseries as well as the occasional standalone episode/miniseries: Animator vs. Animation (the original created in 2006-7 by Alan Becker alone), Animation vs. Minecraft (the longest and most popular, shorts stemming off a standalone from 2015), and Animation vs. Education (the newest from 2023, visualizing high-level STEM concepts)
Personally, I think core AvA is required reading for anyone who has appreciation for past eras of the internet, UI, or principles and genres of animation. AvM and AvE are equal in quality but honestly you won’t appreciate them as much if you aren’t familiar with the topics they cover. Alan and his team do try to visually introduce things step by step, though, so you can at least get a general idea of what you’re looking at
Besides that, core AvA specifically follows the Hollow-Heads, hand-drawn stick figures created by the Animator, “noogai”/Alan. In particular you have The Chosen One (shortened to Chosen, Cho or TCO) and The Second Coming (aka Second, Sec, TSC or Orange). TSC is the de facto main character and the only one appearing in all three series, while TCO and the Animator are exclusive to the original.
The SticksFight squad - the four sticks originating from sticksfight.com and named after their colors - have developed distinct personalities as the main cast of AvM, but only take a collective side role in main AvA (Yellow has a slightly larger role than the others). Here’s a summary of their individual personalities so you know what to look for in their smaller appearances
Red - Impulsive and energetic, always the first to jump into action and with a soft heart for creatures and beasties. He’s a little simple when it comes to technical things, but excels with reading the people around him, then building off of their quirks. Since the rest of the group babies him a bit, he puts in extra physical work to prove he can hold his own. Red also tends to play around with new or out-of-the-box solutions - knowledge that extends to his pranks. Most ready to fight with his fists or use heavy-hitters like maces and clubs. (Good intro/focus eps: The Rediscovery, Texture Pack, Monster School, The Prank)
Blue - A mellow fellow! Blue is one with nature and focuses on farming, cooking, and potionology. Due to her pacifistic tendencies, Blue prefers to reason things out or find other solutions rather than fighting, but will throw herself into the face of danger for others. Otherwise she takes up ranged weapons like guns and bows. She’s detail- and aesthetic-oriented as well as graceful, but doesn’t often step outside what she knows. A bit of an addiction to nether wart, which is somewhere between an unusual snack and a drug. (Good intro/focus eps: Potions, The Piglin War, The Chef, Blue’s New Superpower)
Yellow - She loves more than anything to get down to the root of things, and that makes her the group’s engineer! …And a bit of a troublemaker, paying more attention to the thrill of a discovery than the consequences. Yellow tries to find fairness and justice for friend and foe alike. While they have a reliable, supportive demeanor, they’re also very peppy, excitable and tough with how they stand strong in dire situations. Often her fighting style takes place behind the scenes, using things like explosives or a command-casting staff. (Good intro/focus eps: The Roller Coaster, Command Blocks, Lucky Blocks, AvArcade Games)
Green - Originally the weakest on the team, but has since come into his own after a lot of reflex training (read: getting tossed around). Green has great adaptability to learning new techniques and getting creative, particularly with styles of music and architecture. He loves the spotlight and usually competes with the others or takes the chance to show off; however, he also cares deeply about welcoming in those he meets. Dashes and zips around all the time during battle, usually via fishing rod-grappling hook. (Good intro/focus eps: AvYouTube, Note Blocks, PvP, The Dolphin Kingdom)
If you’re just gonna watch the REQUIRED ones this is what I recommend:
AvA s1 (1-4, previously I-IV)
AvMinecraft (original)
AvYouTube
AvA s2 (5-8, previously “shorts” combining into V)
AvMath
AvA s3 (9-ongoing)
That way you get the introduction of both subseries, with how each establishes the cast/direction, as well as one standalone. I put vs. YT here since it best fits the theme imo but you could go with vs. Pokémon or vs. Arcade Games if you prefer
If you’re willing to take on AvM/the rest of the series this is pretty much the order of the timeline:
AvA s1
AvM (original)
AvYouTube
AvM shorts s1 (1-14)
AvLeague of Legends (required for an AvM character’s development)
AvM shorts s2 (15-19)
AvA s2
Other standalones (Blue’s New Superpower + vs. ___)
AvM shorts s3 (20-30)
AvE (ongoing)
AvA s3 (ongoing)
AvM shorts s4 (ongoing)
Influencer Arc (1-3 + some interactive videos on the Greenzilla4 channel)
Or just follow my playlist!!!
#id in alt text#kris pratt-les on#kris liveblogs on#anim vs#animator vs animation#animation vs minecraft#animation vs education#alan becker#answering the questions no one asked for#tldr: everybody watch ava. watch avm if you like minecraft or want to see more of the chars hanging out. watch ave for more cool fights#I almost feel bad not giving second and chosen their own descriptions but they don’t really need them if you go through just the main show#also a little note - in commentary and reaction videos alan refers to all the characters by he/him#but the series itself has little to no spoken dialogue and only tco is referred to as 'he' and tsc as 'it' once by the animator#they’re essentially free to interpret otherwise and as such I’m doing so with my interpretation here

Ok ok ok your "Humans of Transformers franchise are space orcs" rant is out of this world.
I detest with passion when humans are reduced to pets and plot devices when instead the story could be about two alien species finding one another equally amazing/terrifying for their own respective reasons.
Here is my question: do humans and Cybertronians see how eerily similar they are? They have love of music, familial relationships, similar urban infrastructure, societal structure, financial systems, competitive entertainment, organized societies and war, colonialism, recreational intercourse, marriage...
Not to mention, why was it never addressed how similar both species look: bipedal, waists, noses, cheekbones, 5 fingers, chins, facial expressions and sense of aesthetics and beauty? Sure, humans have hair but in rather strategic places.
Veins and wires, blood and energon, metal and flesh, nanobytes and blood cells, Sparks and brain impulses, sexual organs...
Imagine Autobots arrive on Earth for the first time expecting some primitive cave-dwellers, only to encounter a less advanced mini-version of Cybertronian cities (New York, Singapore, London, Rome, Tokyo, Rio, Dubai...) and societies running on scientific, artistic and philosophical development which has no right existing on the ruthless, all-organic planet such as Earth is. Societes run by creatures who 4.000.000 (the duration of their war) years ago were hanging from the trees btw.
Autobots would be terrified.
Lemme make sure this response saves this time, cause it took me a minute to answer cause my first deleted and I had so much written I got unbelievably angry and refused to even look at the tumblr app.
But here we are.
So, this is EXACTLY what I have been thinking about for who k owe how long. It’s also the intro to this wack as fuck universe idea I’ve had in my head a while, and have kinda hinted at in my other works, but I’ve never gone into detail about.
And I still won’t.
Anyways, yes. It’s crazy that we backlit humans so much when any other sentient species is about. Transformers, TMNT, etc (I’m on a one track mind, feel free to jot down any other fandoms I can’t think of). The main theme of these stories? HUMANS SUCK. And that is severely unfair. People want to cry about how much our generation doesn’t give a shit anymore. Have you SEEN the media we feed kids???
That’s why I live Humans are Space Orcs so much. It really puts into perspective how unique and batshit our species is.
So, onto the Transformers vs humans concepts. The ONLY reason (forgoing technoism and general hate towards organics) cybertronians don’t see humanity as an imminent threat, or one in general, is because of size. WE BE SMALL AF. Can’t blame them, I get it. We do the same. Insects? Fuck them mfs.
But have you seen a botfly or tick burrow into your skin? The infection that comes form that? Have you seen ants jump a small animal as a colony and absolutely shred it? Or a spider only biting you, and the horror the venom causes (recluses and huntsman’s specifically). We have a good fucking reason for disliking these mfs.
But transformers? These are organic experiences. Worst they go through are rust infections, spark death, the works. They are not at risk the same way we are. That is why they view organics as small and inconsequential. They have no idea how hard we fight to simply stay alive.
And now the similarities. It’s understandable that they wouldn’t immediately recognize the physical, cultural, and psychological similarities between our species. Transformers are an incredibly diverse race, like any other. But specifically in physical form. Your average cybertronian holds a similar appearance to your average human. We tend to have the same features, just with different names. Eyes, noses, faceplates, ears, two arms, two legs. Sure that’s average for them too. But they are unique because of the fact that they have two forms. Vehicle mode. Their mode decides what they’re second mode looks like, which can create extreme diversity is appearance. Small, large, many limbed or not.
So the immediate similarities probably wouldn’t jump out to them in an odd way. There’s also the idea that because they’re so spread out in the universe, they’ve seen other organic races that are also similar. Pairs of every body part could be the common denominator among species.
That goes culturally too. War, love, music, government, politics, it’s all a natural form of sentient evolution. Another common denominator. It’s how it’s done that makes it unique. And the similarities between human and cybertronian culture is uncomfortably familiar.
I think that’s why cybertronians are seen being closest with humans rather than other species in the shows and comics (obviously because the audience is human and they need relation to characters but shhhh forget that for a sec). This is where the theories start.
Let’s say cybertronians begin to recognize the weird similarities between our species. The really, really weird stuff. The itty bitty details. Like:
- how we also mainstream kissing on the lips as the top tier romantic gesture.
- use verbal tone and cues for our language.
- have intensely complicated interpersonal relationships in the exact same manner.
- suffer from extreme mental health issues like depression, anxiety, PTSD (I totally headcannon that forms of adhd, autism, and ocd exist in cybertronian society, have y’all not seen my boy rodimus prime??)
- will also destroy each other in the name of our gods, until we have a common enemy.
That’s just the basics I could come up with. The only time I actually saw a moment where a transformer genuinely take a moment to realize that humans can be a threat, was in transformers prime. Episode 6 of beast wars (I think, correct me if wrong), where Miko beats the ever loving fuck out of an insecticon (I think) and upon Megatron hearing this, just goes blank Kubrick stare for a hot second. Man had an ugly realization that did not fit in with anything he had experienced his whole life.
AND THEY NEVER FUCKING ADDRESSED IT EVER AGAIN. Sick of this shit. Could’ve had the most badass character development, where the humans actually proved useful and did something (it would have fit Milo’s character so perfectly too) and scared the utter shit out of the transformers. BUT NO. They continue to be annoying as fuck.
One thing I loved about TF Prime was that it canonically turned Unicron into Earth. And humans came from the earth. Which relates humans beings and cybertronians so hard. Cousins Fr. We are the cybertronian equivalent of organics, and transformers the inorganic equivalent of humans. The individuality, the chaos, the culture, it clicks. There is so much material to really go into it.
But they never do. Don’t get me wrong, I love Transformers lord and just discovering more without humans being involved. We’re just annoying af at this point. But there is so much u tapped potential in transformers actually taking the chance to LEARN about us. But we’re just friends (pets) to these mfs.
That’s why I love TF Earthspark so far. Transformers ingrained into human culture because they’re not from Cybertron, and cybertronians having to adapt to human culture because they have no where else to go. Granted, it’s a kids show. There’s only so much they can do. But I’m excited for where it’ll lead. It really shows how much of threat and ally humans are, and how we are just as diverse as cybertronians.
I need to write another fic about cybertronians meeting humans their size from our world tho. Need to continue my old piece. Would give me so much life. Y’all help motivate me, college draining my ass.

intelligence of the signs
people tend to say gemini is an information hoarder, virgo is a hermione granger knockoff, sagittarius is wise, etc and there's something to all this, but all the signs have their own form of genius. you can tap into your innate brilliance, especially by looking at your mercury, jupiter, and sun signs (but as always, any signs that are very strong energies for you.)
aries: there's a stereotype here of impulsivity and a quick temper. impulses can be an instinctive knowledge of how to act, even if it is wise to think them over first. any anger issues are the knowledge of injustice and how to fix it.
taurus: freakishly wise about money and possessions, and how to use resources without deprivation. can be frugal yet luxurious at the same time. typically a green thumb, maybe can talk to animals.
gemini: great with sorting through huge amounts of info. internet, gossip, news. in ye olden days, poring over books although monastic life wouldn't have much suited.
cancerians: always knows when something's up even if someone insists everything is fine. also spookily great with money. not as luxurious about it as taurus, but you can stretch a dollar to feed your family for sure. you'll know the cheapest yet most nourishing solution for anything.
leo: so much social intelligence. leos know how to read a room, know how to dress and style themselves, know the right facial expressions for a given situation.
virgo: superhuman eye for detail. sometimes you might miss the forest for the trees, but you sure do know the trees, inside and out and better than anyone. it can lead to people finding virgoans overly critical, but you see every flaw AND how to fix it.
libra: while everyone has a close link between smells and memories, librans are practically psychometric about smells. they smell something and know where it's been, what it's done, and there's no fooling them or lying to them about it. their sharp eye for aesthetics, discernment, and justice also serve as forms of intelligence that can be very useful.
scorpio: they just know everything, especially about topics (people) they care about or are interested in. any active research is ten times more fruitful for scorpio people, and sometimes they just know things, the truth, without having to prove it by research. they use the piercing gaze to see into your soul.
sagittarius: this sign has a reputation for being off gallivanting when they'd be better off where you want them. but better off for whom? they really know where to go and when to be there, even if it makes no sense to anyone else. they also have a knack for coaxing honesty out of other people.
capricorn: on the one hand this is some shrewd businessperson or lawyer poring over notes, the devoted med student, maybe a lifelong librarian. there is a lot of traditional intelligence. on the other hand, capricorn has ties to the god pan, and there is also the intelligence that you only get from *really* letting loose and letting it come to you.
aquarius: underrated for their genius, aquarians are mad scientist, absentminded professor, eccentric vibes all around. the ideas and insights cannot be forced but when they occur they are superhuman.
pisces: this is the sign with the greatest connection to All That Is. therefore pisceans can know things they should otherwise have no business knowing, as they have been, are, and will be everything and everyone else, and have, on some level, those same experiences, although they may sometimes be hard to remember.

i can't actually bring myself to name the post i was originally thinking about for various reasons, some cowardly and some reasonably intellectually honest. so instead i'm going to air a bunch of uncoordinated grievances culled from a wide variety of sources
unfortunately i have spent several years being driven insane by random one off tumblr comments about science that i took incredibly personally and now i have a million deranged complaints about how no one is nice enough to me about my job
like. idk. it would be nice if people were willing to extend the benefit of the doubt for ideas like: maybe scientists also know that measurements we use are proxies for the underlying thing, and that might have something to do with why we often try to have three or four different ways of checking for what we hope is the same phenomenon. but ultimately we do just have to try to use the tools that currently exist to look at the world and report honestly on what we think it looks like. "can you believe scientists think x is the only thing that would show whether something is y" look we're just trying to figure something out that we can get to work repeatedly so that literally anyone else can actually check our work. and that's actually very hard to do. ofc these concepts are themselves culturally and historically contingent and a lot of other factors go into the formulation of what an experiment is or how things get solidified as canonical methods etc. but i don't think "we would like to do things that have a hope of being consistently doable so that things can be compared to each other, and people can meaningfully describe things to each other and be understood, and that shapes what experiments we in practice do" is some kind of deeply suspect motivation on either a personal or institutional level and it would be nice if people acknowledged that that is often a driver for what actually is done. sometimes you do what's possible and describable.
or. idk. this one is also kind of about my own interpersonal experience and not a tumblr post, though still kind of about tumblr posts. but like. scientists absolutely make what are essentially personal judgments based on aesthetics or sensibilities about what to study. because there's so much fucking stuff. and it can't all be "what kills the most people" or "what has money available", not least because some of us can't actually keep going day to day on the basis of either of those, but also because even within those the universe is full of stuff. and 1. yes, in fact this means expanding the set of people making those judgments and what kinds of experiences shaped their sensibilities is very valuable, as one of several arguments for improving diversity in science but also 2. we're not, like, automatons gleefully doing Soulless Nonsense while cackling about how we're keeping everyone from learning about the true beauty of the world that real people care about. we're real people also. (it's also, incidentally, not a sick burn to explain to us that we were using human judgment and impulses while we were studying science. we have all lived inside our own brains while doing this and also attended so many seminars where someone helpfully explained it like it was new information.)
like, personally, i think it's really exciting when proteins can consistently arrange themselves on only one side of a cell. because it looks really cool and it's exciting to think about and doesn't obviously fall out of what we already know proteins do. this isn't, like, a sign of a fundamentally corrupt and cold nature that doesn't understand the world's beauty. no one is ever going to pay me lots of money in exchange for my thrilling new results about cell shapes i just think they're really beautiful and interesting. but i resent having to piously announce that i'm really interested in the World's True Beauty and Animals and the Mystical Wonders of Nature in order to communicate this point. i intrinsically value and care about what proteins do and that's the framework i'm operating in and that's the kind of thing that motivates a lot of people in science and it's simply not reasonable to act like that's some kind of evil alien motivation unmoored from the true human impulse. like i actually am mostly doing this because i also really like that kinesin animation where it walks on a microtubule. i just got really into it.
on a separate point, i know that reading scientific papers is hard and a trained skill, and contextualizing them is really annoying, but unfortunately we are just going to have to maintain a saintlike state of mild skepticism about strong claims made in university press releases that are then breathlessly repeated on tumblr. nothing to be done about that right now they'll just say whatever unfortunately. i promise to continue writing bitchy four-paragraph posts about their conceptual limits if and when i happen to notice one i know enough about to evaluate and then also have time to do it
#i have plenty of bitchy opinions about how things are done within science too!#but unfortunately being talked about like i am an evil robot seeking to cruelly westernize the beautiful aspen into oblivion#hurts my feewings somewhat.#box opener

Taurus moon culture post please 🩷🦋🫶🏻
holding grudges so strongly it probably carries over to another life
feeling an extreme connection to nature, probably owns a significant amount of plants (or dreams about having a huge garden/house full of plants) and/or spends a lot of time outdoors
animals tend to love them instantly, and they have a very strong connection to them (especially to cats)
struggles immensely with vulnerability and opening up
takes 8-10 business years to get over things, especially heartbreak
emotional relief likely comes the most through immersion in nature (hiking, kayaking, meditating outdoors, etc), physical activity (yoga, hiking) and/or retail therapy
probably very into things such as aromatherapy, incense, crystals
uses purchases of little treats as a coping method. cannot survive without making frequent lil purchases
despite this ^ i find they're often (depending on other placements, especially venus, though) extremely good with money and even their "emotional/impulse" purchases tend to be budgeted
CEO of repressing emotions, often really struggles with opening up, even to themselves (ie: struggles with accepting their emotions/just feeling them)
tendency to fixate on people, things: they'll have a comfort movie they rewatch at least 2x a month for their entire life, a comfort meal that's eaten weekly for years, etc
when they crush on someone, it's slow to develop, and lasts a long time. the type of crush on the same person for years and years but never say anything (it takes them sooo many years to admit their feelings, and they're virtually never the first one to say it)
they're often guilty of falling in love with friends as they're attracted to comfort/familiarity. definitely not the app dating/speed date type, they need to know someone for a significant period of time before developing actual feelings
tends to be very possessive: over their lover, their friends, their resources
they are so, so loyal and i find (depending on other placements) are rarely gossipy, you don't have to worry about them talking behind your back
stubborn, of course. my way or the highway mindset. can struggle with god complexes and can be a bit close-minded at times (not as bad as taurus sun/mercury/ascendant though)
generally have very laidback, easy-going energy. even when stressed, going through emotional turmoil, they always come off as calm and collected. they tend to be a rock for other people
people tend to naturally look to them for guidance, mentorship, advice; they're often taken very seriously even from a younger age
has extremely high standards for themselves and struggles with perfectionism
undeveloped they have problems with resource-hoarding. very much "what's mine is MINE but what's yours is also mine" lol; can be selfish when undeveloped (but completely opposite when developed!)
napping queens these moons often deal with problems by taking a big sleep
this is a through thick and thin placement: they do not give up on people or things easily. they're amazing friends and partners as they really stay committed and do everything they can to make things work (sometimes to a fault, they can stay in bad situations/with bad people for a long time due to not letting go/not wanting to "give up")
very nurturing and caring personalities, they're always ensuring their loved ones have their needs met; even when their own needs aren't met
i find they often have the most beautiful, aesthetically pleasing and cozy home/room environments! they often get shaken up/can't function if their space is messy and not decorated + organized
love languages? gifts. physical touch. acts of service.
their emotions tend to be very stable, not super prone to mood swings (dependent on rest of chart). in general are just very consistent people
struggles a lot with stepping outside of their comfort zones and can miss out on opportunities due to fear
disclaimer: your entire chart will shape who you are, not to mention your current transits, progressions, solar return, etc. you may not relate to all points despite having this placement due to other astrological factors.
#taurus moon#astrology#ugh i LOVE taurus moons#i couldnt even begin to dream of being as stable as yall#i kinda wanted to write more but also im worried it would be too long#this is more a casual post

Incredible Reenactment
Another commission
Masterlist
They asked for Reader being isekai’ed into Hyrule after being in a Ren Fair. They meet the Chain. Starting with Woflie. :D
Enjoy.
Content under the cut!
It was a perfect sunny day to be at the Renaissance Fair.
You had dressed up in your home made clothes to fit in with the aesthetic. You had your water bottle and a whole lot of cash that you were willing to blow on any and all impulses while you were there.
It wasn’t often that you stepped in to see the place, but it was all in good fun.
As you were walking along the booths and shops of the fair, you noticed multiple cosplayers. One of them even had the most accurate and stunning Dark Link cosplays you had ever seen. You had let them know what you thought of it.
You don’t know what pushed you so much to go talk to them but even if it was just that single sentence. The ‘hey, I like your outfit.’ In and Out. You can do it! You’d never see them again after today anyway. They had to know.
You tried to follow them at least to tap them on the shoulder but it seemed that the closer you got the faster they seemed to move. Maybe they were running away from you? You didn’t think they saw you.
In any case, you had managed to lose sight of them.
“Fiddle faddle…” You pout and lean against the wall. It was a shame but there’s little you could do about it.
Oh well, it was a cool costume. You shake your head and move to go back to where you were. You weren’t done looking around the fair. And you wanted to explore every inch.
But your ankle gives out from under you, sending you to the ground.
You pop back up, like a daisy, and brush down your clothes. “Cool, cool, cool.... No one saw that. It’s fine. I’m fine.”
You move away from the area, trying to run away from your impending embarrassment. Some people looked your way as you scrambled to gain distance but that only heightened your self-consciousness.
Ho-kay! This is a little too much attention you’re garnering for yourself. Maybe it’s time to take a step out and calm down before starting over.
You walk through the stalls and the booths. There’s more people around you than you remember, but maybe they just got there. You find one of the exits. It’s along a tall stone wall with large wooden doors that connect to a wooden drawbridge.
“They really went all out with this.” You marvel as you look upwards to see it all. You nearly crash into a coming in patron with a horse but with a quick apology, you keep moving.
You walk onto the field in front just beyond the town’s borders. The parking lot should be nearby. But you can’t seem to find it. If anything you think that there are a lot more trees around here than you thought there was when you pulled in.
“I must have gone through the other side of the fair.” You scratch the top of your head.
Something enters the corner of your eye and you turn your head to it. A massive gray and black canine is slowly coming your way. Is it a wolf? It’s certainly large enough to be a wolf.
“Easy.” You say, putting your hands up. As if that would stop it from hurting you. Your heart starts pounding in your chest at the sight of the animal. “Easy buddy…Are you alone? Do you have people?”
At least it doesn’t seem aggressive, you think to yourself. It comes closer and you instinctively put your hand out. If it’s just a dog, it’ll sniff it. If it’s a wolf, well then you’ll have to figure another solution.
The creature pauses and tilts its head. Clearly, the poor thing was not informed about the procedure here.
You keep your hand out, hoping for the best but mentally preparing yourself for the worst. “I’m friendly. Are you friendly?”
The canine steps closer and pauses. The question is plastered all over its face. It licks your knuckles.
Your heart melts and all the tension drops from your body. “Oh..ok. Cool. No biting. No Fighting. We’re cool. I’m cool…. I’m talking to a dog. Fun.”
You sag and sit on the ground. The dog continues to sniff you, as if you've just given permission for it to do so. You sigh and watch it do its thing. “Where are your people?
“Wolfie!!” A kid cries.
He comes running out of the tree line and instantly spots the two of you. You sag further. Thank god, you think. Some people to take care of the dog. This is why you need to have your dogs on a leash. Something could happen.
You wave as he comes closer. “Hey. Is he yours?”
“Um..” He pauses. He’s a cute kid. He looks just like Link from Wind Waker. It’s another great costume. “Well, not really. He just shows up sometimes but he’s a good boy. I was wondering where he went.”
That’s…a good enough answer. Wait a minute, how old is he? Where are his parents?
The questions are just on the tip of your tongue when more people come out of the woodwork. Their armor looks legit and they all have some sort of weapon. Multiple of them look like a version of Link. Each costume seems authentic and expertly made. It’s impressive.
You move to stand, a smile already playing on your lips. ”Good afternoon! I’m assuming the dog is yours?”
“...Yeah, sorry about that.” One of them answers.
“Right.” You elect to ignore the strange pause. It’s fine.
“I really like your outfit.” You say, looking back to the young boy smiling. “You look a lot like Link.”
He blinks and points to himself. You nod. He tilts his head with a strange smile. “I am Link.”
You blink and point to the other boys. “Who are they then?”
“Also Link.”
A pause. You need to sit down for a moment.

The fact that the superhero au would let me write 3 of my favourite powers (shapeshifting, teleportation and super speed) is so funny to me like it feels like this is an au I was supposed to write.
I’ve altered some of the powers a little to give me a bit more variety to work with. Like I’m having it so that Etho has an enchanted mace he can summon at will and that allows him to manipulate air since I didn’t want it to feel too similar to Joel’s ability. It also means someone has a more long range combat ability. There’s a few others I’m tweaking just to make it more fun for me and to help round out the team a bit since several of the abilities are very similar.
I’m also working on the worldbuilding. It’s going to be a modern/futuristic setting since I want cool tech and also that’s how the original vigilante group was a thing. It also means that Scar gets an exosuit to help him walk (he has to be careful as it can break and if he uses it too much it will wreck his health), Grian will have robotic wings (he keeps them even after he gets powers and can mimic Pearl’s ability because aesthetics), and I’m thinking of giving Pearl a robotic dog. I just think it would be funny to include Tilly for when Pearl’s a vigilante since I’m leaning into Scarlet Pearl for that.
Also I can have so many of them work in animal care or a tech company. Like Grian, Pearl, Gem, Bdubs, Lizzie and Scar would all make sense in an animal care setting (I’m thinking Grian, Scar and Gem in a zoo and Pearl, Bdubs and Lizzie at a rescue centre) and Mumbo (before he died), Impulse, Etho and Tango would all make sense in a tech setting. Scott would be an architect as well btw, it came to me and it’s now a thing. I haven’t figured out the others yet I just thought it would be funny that like half of them are in the same 2 industries. Also I work in animal care so I know how to write it which is very helpful.
This is far from the first superhero story I’ve made so I’m in my element right now lol. Soon I will have to deal with my nemesis: unique superhero codenames (if you’ve ever written a superhero story you know the problem).
This is just another thought dump, sorry if any of it is a bit confusing I had a migraine earlier so my brain isn’t fully working still lol.
