You guys have no idea how much I love the first movie. It was a really good movie adaption
except the second movie. I hate that one with my life. I hope it doesn't turn out like that

OK BUT SHOULD I MAKE MORE INSIDE OUT AS ANGRY BIRDS? (not really sure if I should make movie ones since ROVIO KEEPS SHOVING THOSE DESIGNS INTO OUR FACES, most people like me prefer Toons and classic ones, I'm more like a sucker for Toons)

[ID: Two pictures from the same Twitter thread. 1: On May 12th, 2023, Red the Angry Bird @/AngryBirds posted a photo that said, “Trans Rights are human rights.” in the trans flag colors with an angry Red Bird next to the text and on a trans flag background. With the caption, “Yes.”
A Twitter user, with a New York Yankee player profile photo, Papi @/ Dominicanolife responded, “L.”
Red the Angry Bird replied, “As a Yankee fan I guess you know a lot about Ls this year.”
2: On June 3rd, 2023, Red the Angry Bird added to the thread again saying, “u okay man? Yankees finally got a W.” with a link to a New York Yankees tweet that says, “Happy #PrideMonth!” and a photo of the progress pride flag with “Happy Pride Month.” in white caps and the Yankees logo underneath. evo 2024 roundup, spoilers for winners:
SF6: would have been incredible for Big Bird to win this year and then fight AngryBird next year as world champions, but it wasn't meant to be. Punk did incredibly well and he's been fighting for this one for a long time. Super deserved, loved his work, round of applause for both of them. Very excited to see how SF6 looks like next year.
SF3: 3 is so grassroots the commentary felt like it was all friends hanging out, riffing on each other, calling out cheap shit. The crowd felt like a Miku show was happening, they all knew what to say, they all knew how it goes. SF3 is forever, super fun match, congratulations to Mov. Chunners is cheap but you beat Yun, that's crazy man. also Hayao had his fucking Stand out, I hope I'm half that flexible when I'm 30, much less 40.
Strive: Holy fucking shit that's the most intense fighting games got for me in years. Incredible, out of this world performance from Nitro and Tatuma. Never been more patriotic for a country that aint mine as I was when the crowd shouted USA at Nitro. Tatuma's calm under pressure could have gotten him the win, it was as fair and balanced as GG will ever be. Wife fought back.
Tekken 8: officially the pakistani national sport. in my world presidency international tekken players will need to go train in pakistan for at least one year and be sponsored by one of the old masters, who play with a hand behind their back. never seen a scene change so drastically as when the Pak players managed to travel to Evo on the regular. Incredible top 8, wish I could afford the game.
MK1: Man I gotta be real, there's nothing less interesting to me than a mirror match with the same kameo that doesn't even reset its own bracket. Nicolas fought well but 1) he went against SonicFox and 2) it feels like there's nothing to MK1. I really hope they manage to revitalize that game, cuz that just wasn't a good viewing experience, even though top 2 evo player of all time SonicFox did an incredible show against a very good contender. When the game is the worst part of a rivalry you know there's something wrong.
didn't watch granblue under night or KOF sorry I only got so much time and quite frankly they're not my thing. I will not be able to shut up about city of the wolves when it comes out, however.
hope everyone makes it hope despite the worldwide IT calamity!

Capcom Cup X group F is possibly the most absurd death pool I've seen in major tournament history. Caba, MenaRD, and AngryBird are all in the same 6-person pool that only 2 people are getting out of. That's terrifying.

AngryBird tops 7,000 competitors, claims Evo title as Street Fighter 6 continues to rise
Tumblr media
Evo is considered to be the apex of the fighting game year for a reason, and this year proved that by having over 9,000 total entrants—with more than 7,000 of those players competing in the Evo debut of Street Fighter 6. Three days and countless sets later, AngryBird stood atop the masses and hoisted the trophy after an incredible grand final against MenaRD on Aug. 6 Along with this being the biggest Street Fighter and Evo tournament of all time by a wide margin, AngryBird had to fight through dozens of top players who have all had a place in Evo history at some point over the last two decades. That includes wins over SonicFox, Momochi, Fujimura, and Fenritti just to make it to the final day—showing just how stacked the bracket was from top to bottom. https://twitter.com/EVO/status/1688422533350211584/ “The game is still so new, but there are so many strong players,” AngryBird said to Dot Esports. “We are just over three months into the game and everybody is improving. Everybody is catching up to each other. I’m happy to be one of the players who improved a lot since the beginning of the game and I am looking forward to watching each and every event while hoping for the best ” During his top-six run, AngryBird survived a brutal battle with Kakeru’s JP, became the first player to even take a round off of Punk throughout the event, and had to overcome reigning Capcom Cup champion MenaRD to lift his long-awaited Evo trophy. That grand final against Mena was arguably the highlight of the entire tournament, as two titans clashed—all while showing nothing but respect for each other and the community. https://twitter.com/EVO/status/1688419444140425217 At one point, Mena’s controller disconnected, which would have given AngryBird a free round should he have taken it. Instead, the Jordanian/Emirati player waved it off and allowed waited for the problem to be corrected before the two traded blows as if nothing had happened. https://twitter.com/PNDMustard/status/1688708700041617408 That happened in the first round after Mena reset the bracket, and AnrgyBird would go on to clean up that series 3-1 and cry tears of sheer joy as the cheers of a sold-out Mandalay Bay crowd echoed around him. Though, even in front of that many people, his approach to the game and his preparation didn’t change. “I’ve been on big stages and I’m used to such ” AngryBird said. “I try my best not to care about who is watching me and just care about my gameplay and what I want to offer I’m a religious man, so I depend on Allah for everything. So for me, I’ll do my best and just the result is on Allah.” While the moments on stage were magical, AngryBird tried his best to avoid looking or thinking about the crowd until the very end because he “wanted to stay focused on being in the zone.” https://twitter.com/FGC_Angrybird/status/1688425649114116096 With this win, AngryBird not only takes home $20,000 and the biggest win of his career but also becomes the first person to earn a spot at Capcom Cup X, which will be close to a $2 million tournament next year. Now, he, Mena, and many of the other top players who competed at Evo 2023 will be flying out to Saudi Arabia to compete in the $1 million Gamers8 Street Fighter 6 Invitational from Aug. 10 to 13.
