Hello, Angry Video Game Nerd. Would you like to play a game, a "shitty game that sucks ass?" Before you lies Ghostbusters for the Nintendo Entertainment System. All you have to do is beat it to release the shackles. Keep in mind however that soon a 15 minute timer will start, and when time is up the ceiling to this room will collapse, dropping six tons of buffalo diarrhea certainly crushing anything still in it. Considering the speedrun for Ghostbusters is 3 minutes 19 seconds I'd say you have a pretty generous amount of time. Also on this table you will find the rotten asshole of a roadkill skunk. Eat it in its entirety and you will also be freed. You always said that's what you would prefer, so I'm willing to give you the option. In life, rather than seek games you enjoy or find the beauty in games that aren't perfect, you sought to torture yourself with negativity. That negativity drew you to me. There are no save points or continues. You only have one life, and it's in your hands, Nerd.

So first, we’ve got Darkstalkers: The Night Warriors, which was released in Japan as Vampire: The Night Warriors. I guess that makes sense to rename it, who’s gonna go “You wanna hit the arcade and play VAMPIRE?”, sounds like a game kids play during recess. Then, the sequel was called Night Warriors: Darkstalkers’ Revenge, and that’s confusing because they just swapped around the title and subtitle of the first game! Why not just call it “Darkstalkers 2″ and have the subtitle be “Night Warriors’ Revenge” or “Revenge of the Night Warriors”? Well, maybe it’s because in Japan, the game was called Vampire Hunter: Darkstalkers’ Revenge, so they must have really liked that Darkstalkers name they came up with for the English version, right? Apparently not, because the third game was called Vampire Savior: The Lord of Vampire in English AND Japanese! What happened to Darkstalkers!? If someone was talking to you about the new game, Vampire Savior, you wouldn’t know it was Darkstalkers 3, because none of the other games in the series even had “Vampire” in the title! Oh, but it doesn’t end there, because in the same year as Vampire Savior, Capcom also released Vampire Hunter 2 and Vampire Savior 2 in Japan: Vampire Hunter 2 was Vampire Savior with all the same characters from Vampire Hunter, and Vampire Savior 2 was just Vampire Savior again with a handful of characters swapped out!
