Alastor's smile felt sewn in place, like he couldn't force another emotion to present on his lips. His hand disappeared out of view and Lute's curious eyes followed it until it vanished behind that well-tailored coat of his.

"That personal, huh?"

She didn't think dermal blemishes were a big deal, but this one seemed sentimental to him. Or, at least bore some meaning. Could mean nothing at all. Most of these God forsaken people walk around with their teeth clenched; damming their own secrets from spilling out.

"Fine, then do you have any little marks worth talking about, or are you a one-way talking show only type of gig here?"

Lute had no Heavenly idea what a radio was until she spoke with the ascended humans. Though, it seemed that by the time she inquired, it was already fading out of fashion. Nothing lasts with humans.

Pippa bit her lip. "Sure, thank you." She nodded. "Sorry for just showing up. Also please don't be mad as the security. I'm very small and stealthy, doubt they ever saw me." She shrugged.

"I'm Pippa Fitz-Amobi. I have a true crime podcast." She explained.

Mariana couldn't help but be amused. Well, not many made it through security or her advisor. She could at least humor the girl. She stepped away from the heavy front door, holding it open for her to enter.

"Why don't we take this to the living room?" She suggested kindly, curious just what this and the girl's podcast were about.

" Okay, so you gotta really knead the dough alright, like givin' it a massage. " Tyler explained as he showed the blonde his dough technique. Hands moved the dough back and forth as he covered it in flour and repeated the process. " Once we're done with that, then comes the fun part and it's rollin' it out into a perfect circle, then y'know saucin' and toppin' it off. "

As he was kneading his dough, he decided to finally speak. " I was surprised that you wanted to make a pizza, usually most girls don't like gettin' their hands dirty, " he takes a moment and then becomes flustered as he reflects on the words he said. " N-Not that you're like most girls, y-you're not, i mean usually, actually nevermind ignore me, I'm being stupid. "

Alison had quickly proven herself to be a great assistant ── that was why he was going to ask her to come along on this business trip with him. "How would you like to come with me to Paris?" Alison had become indispensable to him ── he really didn't think his day would run as smoothly without her. "Purely business, but all your expenses will be paid by the company." She wouldn't have to worry about any finances, unless she wanted to do a bit of shopping for herself.

This wasn’t Alison’s ideal job, but it got her out of Rosewood. Away from them. She was healing, for once. Eventually she’d save up enough to do something she actually wanted…. Eventually. God, if anyone she knew saw her like this….

The intercom caught her off guard, making the blonde jump, pulling her attention from her thoughts and the paper she’d been staring at. She got up, smoothed her skirt, and made her way to his office.

“You rang?” She asked, slowly closing the door behind her, a habit. She didn’t like the idea of someone sneaking up behind her in an open doorway, after all. At the prompting of having a question, she raised her eyebrows. “Yeah? What kind of question?”
