This is for Pride Month and Black Lives Matter. It's very late for Pride Month, but it's in time for Black History Month in the UK, which is fitting because most of these characters are British. These are some of my Black LGBTQ+ characters. I'll put links to the Pride-Flags entries for each flag as we go.

From left to right: 1. Grace McKenzie (they/them) - A grumpy vaporwave enby from Jamaica with a weird condition that makes them split apart and turns their insides into grapefruit segments. Likes v a p o r w a v e, succulent plants, vaping, anime and retro videogames.

Identities: Vaguegirl Cassromantic Asexual

2. Skylla (she/her) - An Ancient Greek sea monster looking for revenge on the witch who turned her into a monster. Likes meat, bathing, swimming, flowers and dogs.

Identities: Terasgender Greyasexual

3. Alisha Gupta-Roberts (they/them) - A moody autistic teenager who copes with being bullied at school and babied by their mums by playing video games, which comes in handy when they find an alien VR device that makes a video game world just for them. Likes video games, Winnie the Pooh, girls, soft toys and decorating their prosthetic arm.

Identities: Heliogender Lesbian

4. Robin Adebayo (they/them, he/him) - An unemployed magical girl fan who gets picked to be part of a zodiac-themed magical girl team by a mysterious group of aliens. Likes magical girl anime, drawing, reading manga and looking for fashion ideas on Pinterest.

Identities: Venusic Galaxian Intersex Agender

5. Aria Maple (she/her) - A sweet selkie rescued from captivity in an incestuous cult and adopted by Ruby (next to her). Likes Disney princesses, singing, pearls and 80's fashion.

Identities: Neuroasexual Panromantic

6. Ruby Maple (she/her) - A vivacious autumn fairy who left Fairyland to open an autumn-themed café in the human world. She is the heart of the local supernatural community and a source of information for detective duo Ama and Mickey (next to her). Likes autumn, flashy clothing, flirting, cooking and looking after her community.

Identities: Bisexual

7. Ama Grivillixia (she/her) - The princess of an underground kingdom who runs away to the surface and finds herself in an unfamiliar world. Luckily, she has Mickey and her dream of being a detective to help her find a place in this world. Likes solving mysteries, reading, dogs, red clothing and Mickey.

Identities: Intersex Asexual Homoromantic (Lesbian)

8. Mickey Montague (they/them, she/her) - An art student who had to drop out for mental health reasons, Mickey lacks a purpose in life until a chance meeting with a mysterious woman in the woods unlocks a whole new supernatural world and a new purpose as a detective. Likes fairies, pastel goth fashion, drawing, Tumblr, cats and Ama.

Identities: Agender Asexual Panromantic

9. Clyde Alexander (he/him, she/her) - A sheltered rich boy who moves out of his parents' mansion and into a group home for troubled adults, where he finds his childhood girlfriend and becomes determined to resume their relationship. Likes romance novels, video games, singing, feminine clothing and Neeta (his ex-girlfriend).

Identities: Genderfluid Pansexual

10. Bree Lambkin (she/her) - A former beauty queen who escaped her abusive household and went to live in the aforementioned group home with her girlfriend. She does the cooking and the housework without having been asked to and tries very hard to look happy. Likes cooking, cleaning, singing, going outside and Rhea (her girlfriend).

Identities: Transgender Biromantic Asexual

11. Melanie Leung-Thomas (she/her, they/them) - A depressed emo poet who went to live in the group home after her parents' messy divorce, where she met her two best friends. She mostly stays in her room and tends to bring the mood down when she isn't in it. Likes emo fashion and music, Hot Topic, writing poetry and playing guitar.

Identities: Bisexual Transgender Intersex (PAIS)

12. Madison Nyarko (she/her) - A grumpy athlete from a very competitive family. Her older twin sisters got all the trophies and medals and her attempts to surpass them were cut short when she lost both of her legs in a skiing accident. She was moved into the group home by her parents in the hope that she could regain her confidence. She hasn't yet, but she's trying. Likes running, boasting, winning medals and snakes.

Identities: Asexual Homoromantic (Lesbian)

13. Josh Cooper (he/him) - The leader of a rebel group in the far future. He used to be a social worker until the job and his mental health got to him and he had a very public breakdown in the office. He was interned in an asylum until he broke out and escaped into the wastelands. He founded his rebel group there and plots revolution against the dictator of their country, but his group is small and lacking in resources so there isn't a lot they can do yet. Likes justice, superheroes, planning and looking after his group.

Identities: Biromantic

14. Calleigh Campbell (she/her) - The corrupt capitalist dictator of New Britain that Josh is fighting against. Projects the air of a benevolent ruler in public, but is brutal in dealing with her enemies in private. Sees Josh's rebel group as a thorn in her side, despite their lack of power, because she is a control freak and doesn't tolerate any threats to her dominion over New Britain. Likes robots, control, glamorous clothing, gold jewellery, alcohol and killing her enemies.

Identities: Lesbian

15. Jim Sanders (he/him) - A comics nerd from a rich family, Jim has been making gadgets with the spare parts from his dad's business since he was a toddler. Jim's cushy life suddenly changes when he develops superpowers. Taking the name 'Titan', he fulfils his dream of becoming a superhero and ends up forming a team with his childhood friends. Likes superheroes, Star Trek, anime and making gadgets.

Identities: Demibisexual Demiromantic

16. Kira Sanders (she/her) - Jim's younger sister. An ardent supporter of social justice, Kira takes every opportunity to lecture others about their problematic behaviour, including her brother. She also develops superpowers, the ability to control blood, and becomes feminist superhero Bloody Mary alongside her brother. Likes social justice, Tumblr, reading, bohemian fashion and lecturing people.

Identities: Bi Lesbian

17. Will Sanders (he/him) - Jim and Kira's adoptive brother. Will was adopted by the Sanders family at an early age and doesn't remember his life before then. He is a moody, sarcastic teenager with a flamboyant fashion sense. He doesn't have superpowers, but uses his martial arts training to fight beside his siblings. Likes boys, dressmaking, ballet, martial arts and being sarcastic.

Identities: Gay

18. Esme (they/them, he/him) - Esme is a feral child raised by giant mutant headlice in the sewers. The superhero team Jim belongs to first encountered them while investigating reports of a creature attacking people and drinking their blood, which turned out to be Esme. Jim's friend adopted them and they are now having to adjust to living with other humans. Likes bugs, meat, blood, dirt and masculine clothes.

19. Nerys Bridgewater (they/them, she/her) - A witch who used to drift from town to town, solving peoples' problems and dealing with dangerous magical beasts, until she was found to be the descendant of an earl and was offered his old mansion. She now lives there with a ghost, a mummy, a werejaguar, a harpy and her collection of magical creatures. Likes potions, magical beasts, comfortable clothes and helping people.

Identities: Witchgender Bisexual Demiromantic

20. Angelica Bridgewater (they/them) - A moody goth enby who has been in hospital most of their life. When they finally get out, their parents can't care for them so they go to live with their aunt, who they haven't seen since they were 3. This is an unwelcome change, but it gets better when they find out their aunt is a witch with supernatural housemates. Likes goth fashion, bones, blood, glass eyes and learning to be a witch.

I decided to upload the pictures I put on DeviantART before I had my Tumblr account.

The first one is of Mickey while they’re hallucinating. They have a medical condition that causes hallucinations and this is one of the more vivid ones.

The second one is my first DeviantID. It’s supposed to be symbolic of my clinical depression.

The third one is of my Homestuck fantrolls (from right to left), Deo, Aidi and Vistie. Deo is a paranormal investigator and often drags her friends out to hunt for supernatural phenomena with her.

The fourth one is of my two harpy characters, Xandra (on the left) and Tiamee (on the right). Xandra is an angry recluse from Greece living wild on British marshland and Tiamee is a bubbly oddball from Russia living in the attic of a witch’s mansion. 

The first picture was drawn with coloured pencils, the second was drawn on Adobe Photoshop CS4, the third and fourth were drawn and inked traditionally and coloured on Photoshop.
