The soot in face leads to a reference they don't much want to keep. Though now the replacement just kind of sits non-sensically.

Puzzling question on Lodge's new front of suit color. It had not been blackened in the sooty exhaust scene.

Jack drags Robert to the Kings (with Andy and Daz tagging along). In very clear terms, Jack tells the Kings the field is NOT for sale, end of story. If they persist, he will go to the coppers about Jimmy and that their company’s reputation will suffer. Matthew believes Jack is bluffing because of Robert but, to Jack, Robert is no longer his son and would rather see him locked up! Jack also tells a shattered Robert to get out of his home asap.
