The “Be Aware” alert warns you in advance of impending, stronger shaking by signaling mild or moderate shaking.

“Take Action” Notification: This notice warns you to take immediate protective measures as moderate to severe shaking is anticipated.

After the trembling stops, you can tap for guidance on what to do. Go to Google Search and type in “Earthquake near me” to view earthquake information from Android Earthquake Alerts as well.
