A busy day in combat sports.
For the first time in Ireland, Katie Taylor is in action! The Olympic champion and undisputed lightweight champ moves up to 140lbs to challenge the undisputed champ, Chantelle Cameron! Huge fight. Definitely check it out.
Then there’s the UFC card. It is what it is. The UFC filling out a date with an Apex card. That said I like the fights on the card for what they are. Mackenzie Dern vs Angela Hill, Anthony Hernandez vs Edmund Shahbazyan, Loopy Godinez vs Emily Ducote, Michael Johnson vs CDF, and appearances from Chase Hooper, Natalia Silva, and Karolina Kowalkiewicz.
And lastly, we have the men’s undisputed title up for grabs in boxing. Devin Haney finally gets an a-list opponent in Vasyl Lomachenko, who finally gets a shot at being the undisputed champion. The poster is on the nose but it should be a good technical fight. There is some heat on the undercard too - Junto Nakatani vs Andrew Moloney, Oscar Valdez in action, prospect Raymon Muratalla vs Jeremia Nakathila, and Nico Ali Walsh.
Should be a great day of fighting!

For the Disney ask game:
Boo and the 7 Dwarfs?
Now that's a crossover
I'd pay to see that crossover. Snow White but the girl is significantly younger and doesn't understand anything these bearded little men are saying. Boo: A childhood hero? It's been J.M. Barrie for as long as I can remember, but I also have a ton of admiration for creatives like Andrew Ducote and Christina Grimmie. In fiction, it's a whole different ball game. The 7 Dwarves: 7 things you like in the people around you? 1. My twin sister's work ethic. 2. My husband's tender heart. 3. Anyone who asks after the quiet person in a big group setting. 4. My brother-in-law's entire demeanor. All the time. 5. My parents' steadfastness. 6. My friends' laughs! All of them, especially when out of control. 7. I like how patient they all are with me, selfishly. Thank you for this! Similar asks are coming your way!

Yeah I googled it. That is SO fucked up!!! I don't get why he sounded like a teenager in PP though if he was a kid....idk, irrelevant I guess.
Fucked up that Howard Hughes was such a dick. You know what's scarier is that Disney is STILL DOING IT.
This one Peter Pan at Disneyland, he was beloved. He was such a good representation of Peter it was downright scary. His name is Andrew Ducote.
Long story short, the second he got some idk, crows feet or some kind of tiniest of wrinkles on his face, they fired him!!!!
Granted, his story ended up a hell of a lot happier. He ended up marrying the girl who played his Wendy, and they have three beautiful kids. ♥️
But seriously, fuck Disney. 🤣
@toonsforkicks22
I have already made a post about the movie specifically but I’ll gladly talk about it more!
First of all I can understand why some people disliked the Rescue Rangers movie, and where I do have my complaints, I still enjoyed it. I think many people were hoping for more of a Who Framed Roger Rabbit feel but Rescue Rangers didn’t quite hit the mark. Other people didn’t like all of the cameos. And some people dislike it for the villain and I can’t blame them on that one.
I enjoyed it and genuinely hope we get more movies like Rescue Rangers and Who Framed Roger Rabbit where a bunch of toons are hanging out with people. Also I loved the detail of there being dip in Pete’s tools.
I have to applaud the animators for their amazing work on this film for starters. As much as personally don’t like the look of the cgi models rendered to look 2D, the way the animators rendered Chip and Dale in different styles and took the time to do the specific lighting effects for both styles is really cool.
Chip was an absolute mood. Not going out so he could stay home with his dog. The whole “a message on my land line, I don’t like that” is me anytime I get a phone call. So was Dale tho. I just love them both.
As a huge James Bond fanboy I would 100% watch 00 Dale. I feel like Chip would play a quartermaster character if he were to be in 00 Dale. Dale is already the more reckless one and Chip more of the voice of reason, so it would be able to work.
The uncanny valley with all of the unsettling character models is one of the best things I’ve ever seen.
The fucking paw patrol attacked a cop! I love that!
Honestly I just think the biggest down fall of the movie was the villain. Yes Peter Pan is the obvious choice because of what his character is, but because of how closely it mirrors the story of Peter Pan’s original voice actor I think it was a poor choice. Disney was already poking fun at itself and calling itself out so I think they could have gone a rout that made Peter less of a bad guy and turned it into a call out about the poor treatment of child stars.
I’ve even thought of a way how they could have played out the events so Peter wasn’t a villain. Obviously I’m not a professional writer or anything so I don’t know how well this would translate into a good movie. The missing toons weren’t kidnapped, that’s just a rumor. The toons could have all left willingly to make their own bootleg movies in response to their own poor treatment in the film industry.
But obviously Disney didn’t take that route because they’re house of mouse and can only call out funny things not own up to past mistakes.
Over all I enjoyed the movie, I just think it could have been better

I just saw a post that reminded me of that 2010-2012 tumblr era (around the time I first joined this godforsaken website) where people were straight up stalking Andrew Ducote (the actor who played Peter Pan at Disney at the time) and now I’m just remembering so many things from that dark time

If Thingamavlogs gets resurrected, this is my “New Guard” members.
For some reason I loved rewatching the vids from them, that I was sad that I was really late to the party since they disbanded years ago. So if I was to make a new Thingamavlogs team (keeping the formats and assets in the vids), this is my comeback dream team.
Brian Hull. He’s a really great Disney YouTuber and his claim to fame was singing Let It Go with a lot of Disney characters, and he did a lot of voice impressions on Disneyland, Disney World and even Disneyland Paris. If his friend Paul from their podcast Bippity Boppity Bros joins in too, that makes the 1st two members.
Traci Hines. She is technically a real life Ariel. She dabbles also in singing and lot of Little Mermaid themed content, and also did a lot of Disney content with other Disney lovers. Like Tiffany Mink, she has her own Disney themed clothing company (Adorkable Apparel), and she was also a guest in many Thingamavlogs vids.
Erik Peter Carlson. Like Brian Hull, he does a lot of Disneyland vlogs and even worked with Brian Hull in his biggest Disney inspired movie “A Fairy Tale After All” (Hull voiced Thumpkin, while Carlson made the movie), and yes, he’s obsessed with Tangled!Rapunzel. If his wife Monika joins too, that would make 5 members so far.
The Hayes Family. Ashley, Zach and their adorable daughter Malia also does Disneyland vlogs and has befriended a lot of Cast Members too, and they also make people aware of Alopecia, a condition that Malia has. (And yet, she’s still stinkin’ ADORABLE!!!) Had the original Thingamavlogs team lasted longer until the Hayes Family became popular, they would have collab with them.
The Ducote family. Andrew, Hali and their little baby daughter Cadence has guested twice on Thingamavlogs (The 2nd was just Cadence though and it was ADORABLE) and they are friends with Tiffany. They also love Disney too and according to Tiffany, the first Disney movie baby Cadence saw was Zootopia. Andrew also co created with Traci the web short series “Life Lessons From a Hipster Mermaid”.
I would have added Brizzy Voices too in the list since she also showed up in different vids with the old Thingamavlogs team (And even is friends with Sarah Sterling), but she hasn’t dabbled in much Disney in a while due to the pandemic and her being more obsessed with the Wizarding World, D&D and DC Comics franchises to further allow her in the new guard, but in the past she did a lot of Disneyland vids on her now un updated 2nd channel, BrizzyVlogs. So until she dabbled on more Disney (and maybe prove herself worthy to join permanently) maybe she can join in.
And of course the “Old Guard” team can always show up from time to time on some vids. They might even be in one vid that the Hayes Family made for the channel, allowing them to meet Malia. The only ones however I would allow back would be Sarah, Tiffany and Patrick. Leo is not allowed; he knows what he did behind the scenes and outside of Thingamavlogs.

I had such a crush on Spieling pan! Andrew ducote was so adorable playing Peter Pan. It’s a pity that I was never able to see him performing the character.
All you need is trust and a little bit of pixie dust
