~Killer week day 6~

°°°Reunion°°°

Hii sorry for the lack of content on yesterday prompt, but now that I've came back from the dead I thought I might do something for my boy! So before we start, I know reunion was probably meant for like seeing each other after a long time but I decided to twist it a bit and take the French sense like a business meeting! (I mean we do use reunion for both senses but I didn't see another meaning in English while searching so sorry if it does exist in English too, I'm still learning!) So I tried to write something a bit more than Hcs but I usually hate how I write so bare with me TwT

It's been quite a time now that you've been living with your boyfriend Killer, the man was sweet and your life wasn't something you could complain about except for your working schedule that was a bit exhausting but it paid well and you wanted to spoil your boyfriend with little things to make him happy. He said he didn't need it but seeing his smile after you offered him new drumsticks after his favorite pair broke melted your heart. The only problem with that is that you didn't have time to cook your lunch for the next day, your evening was spent with him cooking for the day or just passing out on your couch. Killer was the one cooking your lunchbox each day, the first time he decided to do it to surprise you and hearing your voice when you called him thanking him for how good and cute it was, he decided to do it everyday. So each day you discovered a new creative and adorable dish, rice shaped like a bear, carrots like flowers, anything to make you smile. You could often see him search online for new ideas and seeing how he enjoyed that made the meal even more delicious to you.

Your job let you have a little break for a week once in a while, and you decided it was the perfect time for you to make him one in return. You decided to do this after you mistook his lunchbox for yours one day and saw that he didn't care for about the way his food looked, he would often even take the leftovers without telling you there are any so he could make you something new. But you wanted to give him the joy you had each day, especially for the important day he had coming at work a really important meeting with a big client, he was so focused on learning his speech that he forgot to eat twice this week.

So while he worked hard in your shared room, you decided to design a lunchbox for him, putting cute things you knew he'd enjoy, and some of his favorite things to eat. You cooked at night while he slept so he would have the surprise of seeing it only tomorrow. You put a note saying that he had to take this box andcheering for him for the meeting, you already told him before he went to bed but it was important to him so it was for you too.

You were deeply asleep when he had to go to work in the morning, kissing your forehead lightly before leaving so he wouldn't wake you up, he went to the kitchen trying to find anything to eat for the day and came across the lunchbox. The thought of you cooking all of this for him almost made him go back in the bedroom to kiss you because of how grateful he was, he kept the note in his pocket to give him luck during his speech.

The first part of the meeting was really tense and the client wasn't really convinced by their arguments. During lunch break Killer tried to relax himself a bit before returning in hell trying to convince the ruler. But as soon as he opened the box, he saw some of his favorite pasta, a little heart-shaped steak, a lot of cute food and details but what truly made his mind at ease was the omelette with a "good luck!" and a smiley face written with sauce. The whole meal just gave him the energy to fight back and convince the client no matter what.

After his shift ended, you were waiting for him thinking about it all day. When you heard the door you ran to see him and ask about how it went, only to be greeted by his strong arms hugging you tightly while saying how much he was grateful for the meal and he insisted how you were the reason things went smoothly with the client. He wanted to cook you something tonight but you decided celebrating it while cooking together would be more appropriate, your evening ended with you two giving each other cooking advices and kissing happily.

You'll cook him a new one tomorrow you decided before falling asleep.

Okay I'm really sorry if it was bad or too long I'll stick to drawing him I think it'll be better but hey I tried TwT here's the bento box so it's not too disappointing, I don't color often so it's not perfect but I like it! Also did it when I was hungry it wasn't a good idea TwT

The kitchen at six was bright andcheerful, but Zale was scarcely aware of that as she cleans the house for Abdu.Everything showed how good she is in housekeeping.

Abdu gave a little thought to suchthings. He goes to his job at the carpentry shop cheerfully returning at nighttired but cheerful, accepting the food prepared by Zale.

With one last look around, Zale tiptoedto the spare room took her suit. She went to the kitchen and left a note of hertaking a day off.

Zale reached the station and took aticket at the counter. There she saw Saudari, theclerk and the one pursued her in the past but she didn’t pay attention to. Atrain then comes and gives her a feeling of relief. After getting on the trainand settles down, she then read the torn article she had from drum. She putsdown the paper and sighed. She is still undecided to what she wants to do.

The train stopped at herdestination which gives her a quiver of excitement and wished she has plans forthe day. From the station she went to the Kiriakoo, alarge market with Indian bazaars and people ran in out of the place.

Zale was about to enter the placebut her hat was blown by the wind, she rushed to get her hat and her hair slowlyfall from her head. The people were amazed by her beauty but she stillcontinued to catch her hat until a man picked up her hat and held it out toher.

She thanked the man and theychatted at the bench. She also told the man that she was only here to seethings and that she’s a married woman. The man then asked her if where she willgo first. She told him that she had a plan but the man suggested that she wouldgo to a memorial museum. Zale hesitated but then agreed, then the man escortedher there.

As they come out at the cathedralZale remembered what she wanted to do. She wanted to cut hair but she had nocourage to do so. The man encourage her to do so but she was afraid that Abdumight not like it. Zale then remembered the article she had read, it wassimilar as to what the man says.

Then they went to Rainbow Hotelwhere talked over there dessert and coffee. As they were chatting Zale told theman about the article that encouraged her to have a day off, and that led herto talk about her life. She also told the man how she married Abdu, and of howshe wanted to sell the house but then Abdu objected about it.

They talked and talked until theman remembered that she haven’t told her name to him. The man then told hisname was Dick and Zale told also her name to the man.

After they have told each otherthere name, Dick told her his story. He told her about how he married his wifeKate, of how they used to play in their childhood days, and also about what theyboth liked.

He also told her about the accidentthat changed his life, of how Kate got crippled so badly and played that shecould never walk again, and of how he could not take care of Kate because onlythe doctors could do it.

After they had done chatting theyshook their hands and parted.

As they parted Zale remembered aboutthe idea in the article, her hair, she must have her hair cut. She saw a barber’sshop and run into it.  After she had cuther hair she ran into the station afraid that she mighty miss the train. With oneminute to spare she sat and she closed her eyes feeling nervous. Then sheremembered the day with Dick; and yet there were excitement in the thought thatshe was on her way to Abdu.

As she entered their house, therewas silence long enough to make her wonder about what questions she had toanswer. But when her husband appeared, and all she could say is that he hadn’teaten his supper yet.

Abdu muttered that he was nothungry and he heard that the train is coming and she would returned but yetagain he confessed that he does not want to eat alone.

Zale smiled to herself and felt suddenlyolder and wiser than he, for she had done what she always wanted to do so.

She then told Abdu that they willhave supper together.

As they sat down Abdu told her thatshe missed her and how she was a little different, and that she should not goaway like that again.

Zale then laughed and promised himthat she would not do it again.
