#i love that i find out 2 days ago that we were invited to thanksgiving dinner at a family friend's house#(genuine mistake of me not knowing before then. no malice or trickery on anyone's part)#and yesterday find out that my dad accidentally volunteered me to bring brownies#(which is fine; i love baking and would have been making brownies if it was just us anyway)#but yesterday find out that there are some gluten free people who will be there. i do not have a go-to gluten free brownie recipe#i actually haven't ever baked gluten free brownies before so i'm not comfortable trying a whole new recipe to present to people#so i told him to ask if there are any nut allergies (there aren't)#and because ya girl is clearly a genius i have now volunteered myself to bring brownies and also macarons.#(i do make excellent macarons if i do say so myself. but they are time consuming to make)#me @ myself: why didn't you just pick one. why are you like this.#ooc
