He got banned from the Temple of the Moon for a year for this. 😳~~

Lenadis, my rogue, is a strange man. Out of all the things in this world (of warcraft uwu) he can’t stand... seeing his own blood in excess is on the top of that list. Or nearly.  This hulking, 7ft-something man who could probably bench press at least 32 gnomes, sometimes faints from seeing his own blood. Usually Nea is around to help before it gets to that point, but when she isn’t, he’s got to find the next best thing. 

I painted this about a year ago now, and I’ve got the urge to redraw it. Or touch it up at least... the latter is more likely lmao

Anyway, here’s the mini story that goes with it!

"I can't believe you did that." Nea chortled, but in a bewildered way. She stood beside her friend, sizing up what was left of his wound. Had he remained in the moonwell just a bit longer, it would have totally healed. "What!? They weren't there when I got in! Nobody was around!" Len shrugged innocently, wiping his wet arms with his cape. He was no longer indecent--that is, he was now wearing pants. "YOU STILL WASHED OFF BLOOD IN A SACRED MOONWELL. Like it was a warm bath! Without a blessing to do it!" Nea gestured to the well, looking Len straight in the eye as her other hand, like clockwork, finished healing Len's skin wound. "Well Elune understands! Plus! You know, moonwells were MADE for healing! So..." He flashed a guilty smile as his fingers rung out his hair and the water sloshed to the grass beside their feet. "That may be, but most who come here for healing don't strip nude and muck up the waters with their bloody wounds." She raised a brow. "Oh, well!” His voice had a faux-chipper tone. “It was either that, or risk getting my blood all over my clothes." He looked up into the distance and shivered. "Ueughh."  Just thinking about his own blood made him feel disgusting. He tried not to dwell on it. "And I'm sure the ladies didn't mind the view. Even if they won't admit it." he gestured to where the other priests had come out to scold him and offered Nea a flirty grin. "Oh I'm sure the view of some random crazy man splashing around naked in a sacred shrine was a vision straight from their wildest romantic dreams." Nea smirked up at Lenadis, pulling her hand away from his wound to reveal freshly healed skin.

I know you don't tamper much with other blood colors but does your shade/hue headcanon apply to all? Do you have it for the Jades even tho you don't mess with them except Lanque?

Honestly, I have Family AU headcanons for all the castes! And I have a lot of backlogged requests regarding them I’ve been trying to get to. I get singularly focused on the Blues just bc I really REALLY love Tagora and Tegiri, so ideas for them come a lot easier & it’s quicker for my hand to translate into a doodle.

The castes I have the strongest microspectrum and “family” HCs for after Blue/Teal are the olives, jades, and purples. But you asked specifically about jades so lets start there! (been meaning to talk abt them recently anyway)

Bronya and Wanshi are on the side of leaning towards olive, Bronya moreso than Wanshi. Bronya is tough and strong like an olive, and Wanshi has the appreciation for cats. She’s probably disappointed every day that she wasn’t born full on Olive 3: meowch. They’re both friendly and generous, Bronya is always “in the right place at the right time” and also is more comfortable with things that are familiar and routine. Both of them can literally lift you over their head and snap your spine in two if you make them angry,

Lynera is way close to teal, her and Stelsa may as well have been swapped imo. They may as well be fuckin SISTERS they basically share a blood color plus-or-minus enough to categorize them seperately. Lynera is wicked organized and has a thirst for personal justice (shes got names UNDERLINED).

Daraya and Lanque share in being true jades and also share in finding it True Bullshit, they’re the only ones out of the bunch who could go rainbow drinker (OPERATING UNDER THE ASSUMPTION IT ISNT JUST A JADE THING which it probably just is). Neither of them subscribe to the jade lifestyle except for an appreciation for good fashion, bc really if you’re not lookin good then wtf are you. Daraya most likely goes rainbow drinker first, it makes Lanque very jealous.

Daraya also probably lies about being true jade to sort of deflect stereotypes and says she’s like closer to olive, actually, so if you could Not make assumptions about her that would be Swell. Lanque will get in your face about it for the exact same reason, like “yes im a fucking jade thanks for asking what’s your point”.
