I don't really have a favorite character, but I do have some of them that caught my homosexual eyes hehe..(I had this drafted and now that I watched a video explaining the lore I can say gabriel is my fave, along with v1 I think, smiles, but I'm keeping the original format because it's silly, to me)

HOWEVER, I have 2 favourite floors, and one that's pretty close to be a fave as well!! (I will post them in order)

*note that I didn't play the game on my own yet (I watched it), so I can't say my opinion gameplay wise lmfao😭 and I also didn't see the secret scenes/rooms/yeah the secrets 💔

the one that's pretty close to be a favorite is the gluttony level. When I first saw it, I quickly connect it to that one part in the legend of zelda: ocarina of time, as well as mouthwashing (close to the end of the game!)

my first favorite level is greed. I love me some piramids hehehe. I just really like how this place looks (and it's yellow. I mean, not that a yellow thing/place/character automatically becomes my favorite JUST because of that 😭), and honestly how the levels and the character design in look in the game. It's colorful and eye catchy. Groovy, even

The other one is the violence level. Same reasons as the first one; design!

CHARACTERS TIME 😁

there's a couple of them that made me gay, and some that I like more than the others, here you go:

swordsmachine: it is the first guy I saw and the first one I said: 'OH HELLOOO THERE😋'. It is cute idk...at first I thought it had a tail and apparently NOT?? I feel robbed (/J). It looks silly. If we were on a date we'd eat hot dogs in a park

v1: after learning more of its story, I gained more sympathy for it. It is an interesting guy. The reason why I found it even more appealing was because the guy who was playing started spinning the guns, guys I'm sorry (/silly). Our date would be at a restaurant I think...

v2: I liked the battle between v1 and v2!! there isn't much to say; it looks similar to v1 so I guess that's it 😭 date would be vandalizing an abandoned building with graffiti

gabriel: WIFE WIFE HUSBAND HUSBAND!!! one of the reasons I wanted to play the game was to see him, because he shares VA with sebastian, and ended up liking his character and story (and awkwardly developing a crush). I overall like his design as well :3 I knew him before bc I was requested to doodle gabriel, and thought to myself to watch the game some day, but I never got the chance until now haha. He's really cool...and neat....groovy. Anyway a date with him would be at his house, he'd make me dinner and would complain about v1

I feel attached to all the core group (maybe slightly less to Turner, in that i wouldn't pick him as my fave) so it's hard to pick but i have to say, as a character Duela is just AWESOME in the funniest way. On the other hand, Steph is the one i feel the most for, she's amazing. But also, Cullen is such a sweet cinnamon roll.

All of them?? I loved the confrontation between Harvey and Two-Face when he took the dream pills. But also, generally, every scene where Harvey is a sweet lil guy who just wants to help and do the right thing.

So many. I LOVE the two main ships, but the platonic relationships here are even more interesting: Harper & Cullen, and the whole found family dynamic within all the members of the group.

Honestly, Brody lol. He seemed so useless but look at him! Part of the group! Woop! Who would've thought??

Anything Duela says. Plus, Harvey's "You're interrupting my rock bottom."

Rebecca March. There were so many plots twists in this first season (saying first as i diligently choose to ignore there isn't going to be a second one), and they were all so well done, but her reveal was such a great turning point and Lauren Stamile was just perfect in the part.

The use of yellow/blue colors in the directing and the big graphic window that served as the setting for the intimate heartfelt scenes at the end of each episode.

It was perfect. I was (am 😭) so excited to explore Two-Face's evil arc and see the group fight him to bring back Harvey. I wanted to see a thrid season where a saved Harvey could build a relationship with Duela. I was (am 😭) also curious about the French organization that took Turner. Who are they? How's that gonna play out? I'm already making a whole plot in my mind (maybe I'll do a post about it later 👀)

PART II

kevin calls him Black for the firs time. this part is named Chiron (this is also the part where he comes out so its fitting that this has his name) but Kevin giving Chiron a name that isn't his, and then their breakup (?) at the end of this part.....idk how to explain it but it Fits

also the color for this part is magenta. although its obv not the same color, the guy bullying chiron is wearing a red shirt when we first see him. (remember that magenta is the color of his moms room when her drug addiction starts/becomes apparent)

(another thing ive noticed is that the most of any home we see is Juan's, i think. chiron's first apartment is the main area and then the bathroom. well wait maybe those two are equal then but his second house you definitely see a comparative corner)

you know, despite this parts color scheme being magenta, there's way more neutral/browns/yellows than any pinks or reds

he really went to the beach for peace omg

"what kinda dude goes around giving other dudes nicknames" <- forced show of heterosexuality

"what kinds of things?" / "damn dog you nosey" do you see the parallels. the way that both times these phrases were passsed between them it preceded something sexual.

wait does chiron never curse 😭 thats so sweet omg. and all he says is "damn" but you can see how he's so akward around it (the actor is VERY good)

(the face touching here is reminiscent of when Chiron grabbed Kevin's face when they were kids)

the HESITATION the CONFUSION from chiron even when they do kiss he looks like he doesn't believe it!!!

(the way this scene is shot is reminiscent of the first time they wrestled)

Chiron's his the max of his self expression and social interaction lmao you can see how he's closed up again

god that whole beach scene really is one of my faves cause its the most we see Chiron talk up to this point, and we can see just how awkward he is even tho he's clearly pretty good at expressing himself, and he's a bit poetic (most people dont say they cry so much they'll turn into drops, at least no one ive met). and EVEN STILL, the fact that they even got into that part of the conversation because Chiron misunderstood what Kevin said--or perhaps was hoping that he and Kevin shared something in common, considering how different they are. either way, he sounded very hopeful when he asked if Kevin cried.

I know people don't talk about Kevin's development as much but I think the beach scene affected him a lot too because he's shifted so much back into being firm and like a more masculine Black kid, with the dap and the calling Chiron "Black" instead of his name (even after Chiron had made it clear he didn't like it). the fight scene seems less out of nowhere now that you can see they both feel like their masculinity has been challenged

also also: the lack of magenta in this part (a color i now associate with chiron's mother) is overshadowed by just how many yellow-toned scenes and shots are in this part. Kevin also has quite a warm undertone although I dont know if this was done on purpose or not

and he was so open to being kind to his mom too after the beach. then she started talking about how he dont love her GIRL PLEASE

chiron's so happy? he's not a big smiler but he's walking with so much confidence to kevin and he's got a littel quirk to his lips

Terrell is SHARP. he's manipulative and he's SHARP i always felt like he knew about Chiron/Kevin, even if he didn't know what they did at the beach. its just the way he appeals to Kevin's toughness as a kid and almost implies that he's lost it, that he's not really hard anymore--and Kevin squirms, which confirms Terrell's suspicions. Kevin's heterosexuality always seemed like a performance to me, especially when he was giving that story about fucking that girl in the stairwell. we've gotta remember that they're both in the closet.

(kevin is in blue, a similar shade to that which we associate with Chiron's childhood--im thinking of when he was being chased and called slurs)

GOD this scene hurts me its like all the confidence Chiron gained from the beach he's just using against Kevin. the defiance in his eyes and the desperateness in Kev's. Kev isn't ordering him to stay down, he's begging him. Both of them are being threatened here by Terrell and they're both going about it in a way that fits their personalities (kev is more forward and aggressive and so does all the punching while chiron stands there in silent critique of the actions)

this principal (?) lady is about the closest he's come to someone actually defending him in probably years. i wouldn't say she's a momentary stand-in mom but she's doing what paula isn't, which is probably part of the reason why Chiron doesn't press charges. That and his decision to change was cemented with his confrontation with Kev

the sound cuts out cause now he's tuning her out but I think she's talking about "if you need anyone to talk to" type of thing. But like...Chiron talked and now look where he is.

That scene of him putting his face in the ice water......cinema.

im watching moonlight again and oh my god the first meal chiron has in Juan and Teresa's house is rice and beans. which is exactly what Kevin makes for him when they meet again
