#trauma#CPTSD#PTSD#slow blinking as I have everything on this list#and yeah the eczema flare-ups always happened (including for the first time in medical school#when my folks were not allowing me to engage in any hobbies and would scream at me if they found me drawing#which is why I started to draw almost exclusively on my phone so it's small enough they can't see#even if it ruins my wrists)#when I was very stressed out#the first time I had exams I touched a dusty window then didn't wash my hands before touching my face#big mistake#I get conjunctivitis#gross.#and my skin gets itchy and scaly and awful and the rash just gets worse and worse#the doctor heard I had exams and asked if I needed sick leave#my parents CUT IN AND TOLD HIM NO#so I had to study... with only one eye..... while in pain......... both#my hand itching constantly and my eye infected and needing to put eye drops and of course the other eye gets infected later#and of course she gets grumpy she got infected too#whatever.#anyway I remember having to rush out of one exam in SO MUCH PAIN because it took so long that I was late for my next dose of eye drops and#my eyes felt like they were being pricked/stabbed#and of COURSE I did badly on that exam--what was anyone even expecting?#parents please learn work/life balance and don't prevent your kids from having hobbies while studying so they don't burn out#thank you.#negative#personal#for the tags anyway
