OKAY so this is part 2 of my journal I posted earlier today! That one was mostly thoughts about my love life and me yapping about my own feelings (boring, right?) so unless you're absurdly interested in my feelings of longing and desire to date this really cool, cute, interesting and sweet enby then think of this as the one and only journal entry for yesterday and the day before!

So two days ago was pretty eventful for me! I had my first doctors appointment since I was like 10, and it went surprisingly well! I have always been a bit of a hypochondriac. My health paranoia typically comes from my weight. I'm overweight and have been for about half of my life, but I think I've always been a little too self conscious of it - I'm not unhealthy, I'm very strong and can run and never get winded but.. I still have always been fully convinced I'm basically on the verge of death from being unhealthy. The doctor mitigated my concerns a lot yesterday, and.. she genuinely made me feel a lot better about myself than I have in a long time both through testing and words of encouragement, the later of which was really unexpected. All of my vitals are really healthy, my blood pressure is almost perfect, my heart rate and lungs sounded excellent, almost any aspect of health that everyone beats into your head would be "terrible beyond salvaging" by being overweight I actually tested well within healthy matrics for. The only thing that wasn't actually very healthy is the vision in my left eye lkajsdhflkasjdf I can't see a goddamn thing. I have an eye doctor appointment later this month where I might finally get eyeglasses! I think I'd actually be super cute with glasses so I'm kinda hoping that I qualify laksdflasdjf. Anyways, after that I had a pretty okay rest of my appointment! I had to get my blood drawn and I almost fainted alskjdfasjdf I was fine at first, just chilling, but it was taking a really long time so I looked over at the nurse and she was filling up her 5th big ass vial and that made me feel light headed - it seemed like so much.

After my doctors appointment I had a pretty chill rest of my day. I did my first pixel art, I took a realllyyyy relaxing nap, and then i got dinner with my former coworker/friend Ethan! He's a lot older than me so we can't really relate on most things but to be fully honest he kinda fits an older broter/mentor role within my life so it was really good talking to him and asking him for advice! I asked him for advice on relationships, healing, how to find myself again and more. He always has a lot of introspective but also funny things to say aklsjdfaskjdf he helped me a lot, even if some of the stuff isn't exactly what I wanted to hear. We got Mexican food btw! I got myself a burrito and an empanada but I sadly didn't really like the empanada :< I ended up giving about half of my meal to this homeless/destitute woman who was hanging out in the parking lot, she wanted money but I didn't have anything to give so I asked if she wanted the food and she said yes! Yesterday was a reallyyyy simple day. Work was super boring so I have absolutely nothing to say about that, and then once I got home I just went and worked out really hard and then bought stuff at the store to make soup!! I couldn't actually finish making the soup last night so that'll be what I make for dinner tonight!! I'm getting tired of writing and I'm in class rn so I'm gonna call it here! You know...as I sit in my chair...a 30 yrs old that was laid off right after the first vacation I had from work in 8 years and who is trying to pass a shitty math test so I can get my career back on track after a global pandemic derailed my original plan (and being laid off this year that wasnt in my plans AT ALL)...I can't help but think... that as much as all that sucked, I'm weirdly okay that it happened?

I don't really have words to describe it, I wished none of the shit that DID happen to me happened, but it did and I came out of it banged up but more experienced in a way.

Right now, I'm working really hard not to just distract my way through life with social media and just do a job for the sake of having a job (did this before pandemic also).

2023 has sucked ass for me, with 2020-2022 also sucking major ass, but I'm hoping I go into 2024 with a clearer vision and possibly a handle on this art as a side career. Hopefully, i also end this year restarting my teaching career as well.

Idk I was just moved by how I spent 4 hrs on a drawing even if it was practice vs. how I barely spent 30 mins on art in the last couple of years bc I got so discouraged and just ended up browsing tumblr rather than to create something.

Anyways ok back to my break I'll be dropping more art off soon~

Idk how many ppl are going to get offended or have controversial views to this but since it's MY BLOG, I'm gonna write things that are constantly disturbing my mind.🙂

First of all, I'm feeling truly devastated by seeing the number of astro posts circulating around Liam Payne's d*ath. Why r u hellbent on dissecting someone's d*ath? Idk what tropical astrology teaches, so I can't say anything about that, but as far as ik, traditional vedic astrologers are trained NOT to predict someone's demise or dissect a de*d person's chart, so kindly refrain from using vedic astrology and its tools such as divisional charts to do this, I find it very disrespectful. Vedic astrology can just be a science or interesting content for u, but for other ppl it's a part of their heritage and it has its respect, so don't misuse it. Also I kind of think it's literally humane to not make content out of someone's demise, be a human first then u can be a celebrity.😒

Be responsible about what u say, u might not know how much impact your words have but there are ppl who are following and reading your posts. I feel like some knowledge should've stayed in the same place, protected and safe in the right hands rather than accessible to everyone, Kali yug is definitely not the era where ppl r sensible enough to understand how to wield knowledge bcoz it is literally a POWER. 😌

The way the world of Nadi astrology is destroyed by the same means, knowledge going in the wrong hands, now it has become a whole scam, spinning tales and extorting money. Nadi is where sages like Agasthiya wrote future horoscopes and its predictions along with their past lives. Our lives have been written in palm leaves years ago, the main sanctuary of the collection is in Tamilnadu, it was passed on from generation to generation in certain family lineages, then some of them sold it, made fake ones and it got sparsely distributed and now almost vanished (Ik in specific temple some of the originals are stored even today, I'll not mention the name, I'm tired of misuse of knowledge, if u r genuinely interested Google is free). Even our accurate d*ath incident is written in there but the real nadi families back then were trained not to reveal it, so they just say 'Stay healthy and careful in that time, be cautious while driving' that's it. I know of real life incidents predicted through that, my dad's friend and my bestfriend 's mother both d*ed on the same predicted year and month by the same warned incident, my dad's friend was asked to be cautious of vehicles in that time period and he d*ed due to an accident and my friend's mom was asked to take care of health issues on a specific time period and she d*ied due to cancer. It's ur choice to believe in an age old writing of ur destiny in a palm leaf but it was an accurate tool some 20-30yrs back but today when it went into the wrong hands, that is when the knowledge got spread rather than being protected and reached ppl with wrong intentions, it all went berserk, now they just bluff nonsense. Still there are authentic family lineages with real texts and skills but it's very hard to differentiate between a whole lot of fraudsters. 🙃

So yea, overall I'm pissed off about the fact that some things are better to have left the way it is rather than showcasing it to the whole world to have it misused, like vedic astrology too, if u r learning it, respect it's ethics too, don't disrespect it's norms for the sake of ur content.😌😬

Your heart felt like it was shattering into pieces, everything you did together, all the sweet talk about you being the only one for him was gone in the wind like dust, it meant nothing to him and that made your blood boil.

You immediately got up to leave but he followed quickly grabbing you by the waist. You turned around and pushed his chest back hard "How could you!?" its still light out, the evening sun beginning to set but still lighting up enough of your room. as she’s getting in beside you, she notices what you’re wearing. “nice shirt,” ellie says with a snort.

its one of hers, you stole it a few weeks ago with no intention of giving it back. her heart grows as a small smile graces your features. “there she is.” you flush and turn away. she coos teasingly while getting comfortable behind you.

You wake up out of your sleep, just getting to bed after your long ass shift at Chili’s. “There’s no way” you roll your eyes as you answer your phone, your best friend’s name displaying. “I can tell you were rolling your eyes.” She squints her eyes at you, “Yeah cuz u were on a date what happened?” You laugh lightly your red silk bonnet eliminating in the light of your phone. She rolls her eyes at the question. “First of mind yours.” You laugh and sit up in your silk lined blanket falling off your body to your waist. “Ill mind mine when you actually get somewhere. How long have you been moping round bout a nigga that cheated on you?? I love you but this has to stop. Like immediately.” You stare into her eyes and watch as she looks down her eyebrows furrowed as tears threaten to prick her eyes. “And don’t you start crying again, go take a shower and go to bed I’ll call you tomorrow okay?” She sniffs a little “you right I’ll talk to you later byeee” you hang up the phone and put it on the charger falling back asleep. You wake up a little late, realizing that you rush to get up, having the opening shift after closing was hard as hell but you need the money so…who are you to complain? You take a quick shower and throw on a fresh uniform rushing out your house and damn near sprinting to your bus stop making sure not to miss the bus.

Couple hours later…

“Y’all niggas need to hurry up fo I leave y’all ass.” Ony says closing his car door. “You ain’t gon leave us.” Connie laughs. “Wanna bet?” Ony adjusts his hat and sunglasses as walks up to the Chilis , the rest of the group following behind. Adorning the same hat and glasses as he did. The bell jingles above the door as they walk in immediately getting bombarded with noise of families and waitresses rushing around the busy restaurant. “Hi how many people?” You say not looking up from the tablet In front of you already hearing the jingle. “Uhh 5 people, can we get a table away from people.” He lowers his head, his hat coving the view of his face. “”Weirdo”” you think, “well right now we are kind of busy so it’ll be hard for me to find a table away from people.” You look up at him and sigh, the tines from working to closing the previous night and opening this morning were hitting you like a truck. “We have a table it’s not clean right now but as soon as it is I’ll let you know. Can I get a name and number?” You look at him. “Uhhh well just go to table right now and you can clean it when we get over there.” You scoff, “that’s not my job sir, but whatever you like.” You shrug your shoulders and grab 5 menus and walk them to a dimly lit table in the corner of the restaurant. “I’ll be back give me a minute please.” You walk away as they sit down and ask the busser to clean the table and let the waiter know you sat a group in their section. You walk back up to the hostess booth, in the process walking past their table. “Aye can we get some water over here??” Connie yells a little. “Aye shit the fuck up, you the reason we got caught last time.” Jean rolls his eyes. You sigh and walk back over to them. “Sure by waiter will be with you shortly, anything else.” Annoyance lacing your tone. “Damn she fine asf.” Jean whispers just enough for you to hear making you roll your eyes. It also causes most of the group to look up at you. Ony’s eyes widened before settling back in the street outside. He speaks up. “Nah that's it, I wouldn't want to waste yo time.” You huff as you walk away walking to the waitress in that section, Aj. “Can you get table 14 some water so they can stop bothering me?” “You okay?” She asked, concerned. “Yea my head hurts a little, I’ll be ight almost time for me to go anyways.” You walk away and go back to the hostess area, sitting there doing nothing to your relief besides saying bye to the passing customers that are leaving the restaurant. After 2 hours or so you finally see the last group before you clock out and walk towards the hostess desk, Ony stopping before he walks out. “My bad for all the bs they be on. Can I get yo number? Maybe I can repay you or sum?” You laugh sarcastically. “Nah you good, have a nice night though.” You gesture towards the door not looking up, and clocking out via the tablet in front of you. And you walk away.

To clock out and grab your coat and bag from the locker, locking it after and walk out the staff entrance looking up at the bright sun as you slip your headphones into your ear and plug them into your phone playing the same playlist you’ve listened to since you were in middle school, and take out a pre roll you’ve had in your small ouch you keep in your bag for times of feeling down and drained like now. You walk to an abandoned park near your house and light your blunt while sitting on a bench away from the eye of people.

As you inhale you think of all the things that frustrated you that day, causing you to clench you unoccupied hand in anger, as you exhale you let it all go, realizing you have so much left of your day to be dwelling on stupid people with bland taste buds, you would know, you’ve tried the food at your job and to say there was no black people as cooks was obvious due to the unseasoned food they gave you. You put the blunt to your lips and continue smoking, not paying attention to the nature surrounding you, in your own world waiting for the bad memories to become numb to you, and the blissfulness to take over.
