I truly do love what we cobra kai fans write, because we're creating a fun intergenerational queer text centred around martial arts and americana and colonialist themes collaboratively, the stakes are low, the fun is high, the fanfic and fanart and fanwork is so so sexy

#us working with see spot run: what if...#im mean they do have themes on the show #heavy-handed non-intersectional themes that painfully avoid putting any ism labels on them #but they're the themes we tug at they are there #that and billy zabkas teary teary eyes #and ralph macchio bringing that doe-eyed oh no i bruise so easily teehee energy #and mary mousers constant jaw-aching tension #and peyton list choosing to interpret anger-face as upsetty-face #and xolo mariduena growing into an intensely gifted nuanced actor #and everyone being very very funny #and look i know tig is very good at what he does but my brain short-circuited on also tig lorge #but MY favourite actor of the cast you ask? why that's marty kove for giving me the most unhinged old man energy #cobra kai #ck #billy zabka #ralph macchio #mary mouser #peyton list #xolo mariduena #marty kove #tig #thomas ian griffith #i do wish xolo had more to work with -- i think the subject matter of his future and money and fixing up the car with daniel was so perfect #and potentially his dynamic with robby in the sense of figuring things out #but alas we didnt get as much of that as i would have wished #look at me getting hooked into the thinking about it all again #it getsya it really getsya
