UNIQUE MAGIC: SEE WHAT I SEE

his left eye is not his own, not entirely. a curse, willingly placed, allows his guardian to see what wuya sees. and hear what wuya can hear. in order to prompt it, wuya simply has to remove the eyepatch he wears. the accessory itself has wards to prevent any accidental slips or miscommunication. overuse of this ability can cause intense migraines and even bleeding from the eye. the connection can grow stronger if she really decides it's needed. allowing her to cast magic through him. this however will have devastating effects on his body; as wuya is not strong enough to house as much power as she has.

as far as onlookers are aware, wuya just has a weird eye. and his magic gains a sharper edge when he's using this. otherwise not much changes. unless of course she decided to funnel him power...for some reason.

OTHER ABILITIES

shadow step: where there is a shadow, wuya can go. with this ability, wuya can walk through shadows. traversing long distances in a much shorter time, and usually he's unseen doing so. he can take up to one person with him, but anymore is really going to be pushing it.

corvid form: he can take the form of a raven. though he doesn't do this often, and it's usually just used to get by unnoticed. or to eat trash ...

SUMMARY

as far as anyone is aware; wuya is fae with a vague background. he's intelligent and clever, and seems to arrive often times, as if from thin air. wuya does not, and will not openly talk about his upbringing, nor his family. unbeknownst to the school, and any of his classmates-- wuya is maleficent's charge. she found him as a fledgling, and took to his care herself. with a few bumps in the road here and there of course. his ability to shadow step, and turn into a raven was conveniently quite useful.

he doesn't really see her as a parent, and being fae...wuya sought an equal exchange for saving his life. once he was old enough- wuya offered to spy for her. giving up one of his eyes, so she could use it when she likes. the curse in place to allow that, allows her to see what he sees. due to the odd look of it, and the purpose of it, he will usually wear an eyepatch to keep it covered.

wuya would be sent to get a proper education at nrc. to learn things that his guardian wasn't admittedly unable to teach him. as a general rule, wuya is not allowed to talk about her to anyone. she's believed to be dead; and she probably wants to keep it that way. so any mention of family is mostly ended at " im an orphan ".

personality wise- he's pretty mischievous. wuya teases, and plays with people and presses buttons because he can. but he's loyal, and dedicated to the very select few he keeps close. sometimes wuya's jokes and games can seem a bit mean, he's not entirely aware of boundaries and where the line is drawn.

wuya has a fairly unique uniform. if asked he will wear a button up and tie, but to hide his tattoos- wuya wears a turtle neck at all times.

he has wings, but uses magic or maybe a potion to hide them... most of the time. due to his distrust of most humans, wuya doesn't like having them out.

he does occasionally eat food out of the trash. mind you he makes sure it isn't rotted or gross. but it's a habit he picked up as a starved fledgling, and one he occasionally commits to still. only in raven form though...

he has a pretty severe allergy to avocadoes.
