I am once again getting on my soapbox to argue that Curt SHOULD be one of the people where it makes so much sense on a narrative level for him to figure out that Peter and Spider-Man are the same person bc they have been close friends through BOTH identities for YEARS going all the way back to early in Peter's career as Spider-Man, even if they didn't mutually meet as civilians until Peter was in grad school, to the point where Peter even says he's one of the only friends he has back in ASM #43, thus making Curt one of his oldest friends, and it sucks so much that the only times Curt has known in the 616 continuity was due to a continuity error in one case and the annoying Civil War reveal to the entire world in the other, both of which are awful set ups for Curt finding out, and a GOOD story about Curt finally figuring it out and talking it out with Peter is probably the storyline I want the most for that relationship and it would be a good way to progress it and do new things under that change in the status quo, but it's never going to happen bc Marvel either forgets Curt exists or does something stupid with him.
