You know, no big.”- A woman thinking back on when she was a naive girl? A melancholic longing of when things were simpler and more fun? A villain wondering if she should regret the chances that happened in her life, or embrace them? These things…are probably not what Furuhashi had in mind when he drew this cover page. 2) “I`M NOT EVEN GOING TO MENTION HOW POP IS NOT EVEN THE PERSONALITY IN CONTROL, SINCE, AS WE SAW WITH TAMAO, THE PARASITE IS A COMPLETELY NEW PERSON WHO HAPPENS TO SHARE A FEW MEMORIES OF THE PAST, AND THERE`S A CONSIDERABLY AMOUNT OF DISTRESS NEEDED TO BRING ANY SEMBLANCE OF THE ORIGINAL PERSON BACK UP, BECAUSE WE HAVE BABY☆STEP HERE”- Well, that was the old model parasite. Given how Pop needs to be amped up on Trigger when she’s going out on ‘stage’, suggesting this parasite needs more ‘juice’ to work, it’s possible this newer variant might actually reconfigure the host’s brain so they’re the ones mainly in control, but their inhibitions and such that would make them back away from committing mass villainy are turned off, which prevents mental confusion from the host and the parasite’s intentions coming into conflict. 3) “You know, this memory of those past “what if”s, with Pop looking with fondness to how much hope in the future her younger self had, how she could be something great and help others but instead fell to the darkness and became the antithesis of her own dream, would be immensely more powerful… if it was actually Pop that took that decision.”-On some level it might be. The narrative does seem to be placing more emphasis on Pop being ‘involved’ in this mass bombing directed as a stage show, and if the parasite was fully in control, it probably wouldn’t have gone for a method that made Pop a public recognisable target, instead going for a low-key operation like with Tamao. Instead, it seems like this parasite strain twists Pop’s thoughts just enough that she’s willing to act villainous, but otherwise leaves her as the one who making the decisions. 4) “Huh, the bees are injecting trigger on her, you can see that she was starting to go back to her usual skin tone. Interesting. Now I`m starting to wonder if those lapses into her past are because trigger is running out on her bloodstream like it is implied or if I`m just overthinking it.”- If the newer parasite does need more juice to control Pop in this implied subtle manner- leaving just enough of her psyche intact that she’s ‘choosing’ to be villainous without wanting to stop- then it would need more regular intake of the enhanced trigger Variant Nomura is ‘feeding’ it with, to keep Pop in the sweet spot where she’s got just enough self-awareness to go along with his plan ‘willingly’ but not enough to defy him, as a delicate balancing act. 5) “Awaken, my Masters!

Hey Shinzo, remember when you had the power to brainwash people and you were told your quirk wasn`t good enough to be a hero? Good times those… Although that one was more of U.A.s fault.”- I think it was more Shinso’s Quirk wasn’t good enough to be a Pro hero- he could probably have qualified as a part-time hero like this guy, being used in a supporting role, but at the time the test didn’t really allow him to handle himself solo on his own merits. And whilst it’s an absolutely sucky ability for a hero t have, as a supporting volunteer, it’s actually quite useful, since it seems to locate whatever he’s looking for even if he himself doesn’t know where it is, making him a walking GPS 9) “Yeah Pop, I bet those buildings are full of people working right now. You know, this is going to be really fun to look back once you awaken from this.”- At least it’ll be harder for her to see the carnage with just one eye… @thelreads

 Grimmjow Headcanons Plus a Few x S/O ones 

( pretty sure I read some of these somewhere but I forgot so here's a self indulgent list :)

He died in his early twenties so he's still pretty young mentally but physically as a hollow he's old as hell

He's European

He takes a lot of naps in random places such as the roof of Las Noches

In fact he does a lot of cat like stuff and doesn’t realize it

He can purr but rarely and it’s mostly in his sleep 

When he became an arrancar he had long hair similar to his release form. It kept getting in the way so he cut it

he doesn’t like wearing clothes

Him and his fraccion use to sleep close together in case they were ambushed by other adjuchas and still did even after they became arrancars

They didn’t think much of it. Except Di Roy. He’d say it was weird and ‘un-masculine’ to which Grim would tell him to shut up and go to sleep after laying an arm or a leg over his face. 

Di Roy would also occasionally guilt trip him

Grimmjow: You’re too weak to fight with us.

Di Roy: I wouldn’t be if someone didn’t bite my face off.

He was actually much closer to them than he let on

He only really got to grieve of their deaths when the war against Aizen ended

Eventually no one bothers them at all cuz word goes around that they’re protected by a ghost or something else supernatural.

They’re of the few that can call him by a nickname and survive. Grimm, Grimmy, Grimmykins, Grimmy-kun, Kitty, Kitten, Catboy, Stinky cat, Baby boy, Baby boi, Big guy, Tough guy, My Arancar, My love, My one and only, Handsome, Blueberry. Literally anything is fine with him.

But call him My King and he’s done for. Dead. A second time. Deceased all over again. His heart will reform just to burst out of existence. 

Takes them to Hueco Mundo a few times 

Makes a pillow fort with them with his hoard of pillows 

Will be skeptical as to why they like him and won’t be surprised if they get tired of him and break up

But oh no! They’re in it for the long run! You’re stuck with them Grimmykins:)

Would most likely say I love you without even realizing it till later

If he really loves them he’ll find a way to weaken his immortality so they can grow old together ( yes it’ sappy but he figures he’ll get bored after they long gone )

Might go to Mayuri for help and becomes his lab rat in return. Won’t tell his s/o till it’s done so they won’t try to stop him.

It’s not fun. Like at all ( insert angsty fit energy here ). But it works and as an added bonus him and his s/o can have kids if they’d like

A great dad. Incredibly supportive and loving. Mess with them and you’re dead. Or at least scarred for life. No one messes with his cubs.

Picnic Ask

Ask and ye shall recieve @theaxolotleastofthesun it’s long af tho, so it’s under the cut.

 1.       Where and When is the picnic happening? (Gonna take this as ideal location and season basically)

a.       Milo: Prefers someplace a bit south—warmer than the northern parts of the Eye. Summer in Sun Elf territory would be nice. Not south enough to get jungle-y and humid (Glim can take heat, but draws the line at humidity), but someplace he could retreat to the blessed relief offered by the shade of a scrubby tree and have a good excuse to eat his favorite spicy foods and sweat to cool down.

b.      Glim: as stated above, he doesn’t do well in high humidity. Also not the biggest fan of excessive heat, but will put up with it for Milo’s sake. Were it up to him though, he would prefer an autumn picnic in a cozy shady glen under a still-full canopy of rich reds and violets and sunny yellows. A sigh of crisp wind carrying with it the first hint of winter.

c.       Remmi: Love’s spring, especially when it’s still early. They love the way the fruit trees look while still flowering and the cool, but warming, breeze. They would most enjoy something near water, but with plush green grass still under foot. The Northern Reservoir is well tended, with bright, blossoming bushes hedging cobbled pathways. The surrounding park stretches most of the way ‘round. Remmi would most like a quiet day at the eastern edge—farthest away from the great roaring falls that lead into the canyon. Bonus if there are frogs.

d.      Hani: Loves the dead heat of summer; the feel of warm sun on his skin. A midsummer, late afternoon picnic after a day of splashing around the Southern Sea would be heaven. Sure, the food might get a little sandy, but it wouldn’t stop him from eating and enjoying every second.

2.       What food and drinks do your OCs bring? (you fool! You’re enabling me to indulge my fascination with food culture!)

a.       Milo: Goes all out on the spice—picnic with him at your own peril. He packs extra-hot kimchi, seasoned roasted garlic cloves, Zevi’s falafel recipe, and a few other side dishes that reflect his upbringing by a Southern Dwarf familiar with Halfling food culture. He also gets pretty excited with drinks, bringing three; an iced ginger tea made with turmeric and black pepper, buttercup and honey hwachae (most non-halflings just call it wine even though it’s usually not alcoholic) because he’s (not so) secretly pretty sappy and sentimental, and Baekse-ju to finish off with a good pair for spicy food and just a touch of alcohol.

b.      Glim: Settles for light, seasonal snack foods. He brings a bunch of fresh cut in-season fruit like apples (that yes, he does cut the skins to look like bunnies like his mother used to), a couple loaves of bara brith made with ground dried fruits and nuts served with butter, and a whole basket of pic ar y maen (cookies with raisins and currants mixed in). He brings spiced virgin cider and a fine local white wine to wash it down.

c.       Remmi: As a professional baker, they refused to bring anything but their best to their picnic. They pick finger-food pastries—the best from their eclectic cooking experience and travels. Beignets topped with honey and powdered sugar—in a basket enchanted to keep them fresh and hot and crisp because they take pride in their work. An impressive assortment of petit fors lined up and packed tightly in another container. Muffuletta finger sandwiches with toothpicks holding them together for the more savory inclined guests. And finally some cranberry pastila which they hadn’t made in years and was their way of flexing their baker’s muscles. They pack a thermos of milk tea and an iced chocolate drink.

d.      Hani: not a big cook. He was hoping Senya would do most of the cooking. It’s not like he’s particularly picky about what he ingests. To be polite though, he brings a crock of bamia—a stew with lamb, okra, tomatoes, and onion—that his mother would make on special occasions. He also brings an impressive array of drinks; sugar cane juice, carob juice, tamarind juice, and iced coffee.

3.       What are your OC’s wearing to the picnic?

a.       Milo: Largely his usual sort of outfit. A sleeveless turtleneck, cargo capris, and combat boots. He does add a lightweight cotton shawl embroidered with geese in shades of red that he got as a wedding gift from Lian. He wears it to avoid sunburn, but once in the shade and eating, he carefully folds it and sets it aside so it doesn’t get dirty.

b.      Glim: A cream colored tunic and brown tasseled cardigan over dark blue leggings, simple but sleek black ankle boots, and finished off with a simple sapphire teardrop pendant on a gold chain.

c.       Remmi: they opt for something simple and comfortable, but fitting for the season. They wear a yellow wide-band tank top under an oversized baby pink cable knit sweater. The sweater is so big it slouches off one shoulder, reaches their knees, and the sleeves hide their hands if they aren’t scrunched up at the elbow. They pair that with slim, washed out jeans, and a pair of tan slouchy boots. As one final touch, they don cherry blossom studs in their ears.

d.      Hani: he goes for something sporty and comfy. A loose and flowy off-white sleeveless crop top over a pair of baggy gray-blue shorts held round his hips by a broad and colorful sash and a pair of greek sandals that he discards almost immediately. To add a touch of class—after all this is a fun outing so why not—he wears golden arm bands just above each bicep. Those stay on longer, but they, too, eventually get unceremoniously dumped into the picnic basket in favor of total comfort.

4.       Which OC brings a musical instrument to idly play?

a.       Surprisingly enough, Hani. Remmi knows a little piano and harp, but those aren’t exactly available at a picnic. Milo has never learned an instrument (though he finds guitar interesting). And Glim tried playing, but sucked at just about everything; and anything he could play he couldn’t play in front of others. Hani, on the other hand, randomly knows how to play—and is good at—the oud (which is like an Arab lute). And yes, he does attempt to play Wonderwall on it.

5.       How quickly does your OC realize there are ants trying to sneak into their food? What do they do about it?

a.       Milo: He’s very perceptive, so it doesn’t take long for him to notice. He proceeds to squish them then mix them into his food for “extra protein” without hesitation. Despite knowing that Milo was raised eating bugs and still does fairly regularly, everyone still looks at him like he’s gone insane.

b.      Glim: He picks up on it when someone else points it out. It’s only then that he realizes that he forgot to activate the insect repellent rune. He curses under his breath and apologizes before quickly moving the picnic supplies a few meters away and activating it then.

c.       Remmi: They spend the whole picnic low-key looking out for this. Whenever bugs start walking toward or flying around their precious gourmet picnic, they nonchalantly close all the containers up tight then swat them all away without breaking the conversation.

d.      Hani: he doesn’t notice until one of the ants bites his tongue as he’s eating. He spits that one out because it was mean, but all subsequent ones he eats. And unlike Milo, Hani doesn’t mix them into anything, he just pops them into his mouth.

6.       Which OC hides under the shade at first before being convinced to come out into the sun? How do they react?

a.       Glim hates the heat. If you can manage to convince him to leave the tranquility of shade, he will be a drama queen about it. Really laying it on thick and moaning about how “the sun is a white hot laser” against his “poor fragile flesh” and that if he continues on he will surely “burn up, dry out, and die!” and other such dramatic nonsense. He gets weirdly poetic when he’s frustrated or cranky. Needless to say, Milo has ceased pushing the issue.

7.       Imagine your OCs spending their time picking nearby wildflowers and watching the butterflies and bees at work.

a.       Milo foregoes this particular activity, choosing this time instead to just take in the scenery. He’s scared he might upset a hive or get stung or bitten by something so he’d rather just sit back and soak up the atmosphere.

b.      Glim is carefully rooting around for four leaf clovers under a subdued parasol.

c.       Remmi carefully plucks and cuts an armful of flowers and stems so they can make colorful flower crowns for everyone.

d.      Hani chases the bugs and small animals, not unlike a dog would. But he’s having fun so it’s fine.

8.       Which OC foregoes a picnic blanket and sits directly on the ground? Are they concerned by the grass stains on their clothes afterwards?

a.       Hani doesn’t care where he plants his butt and cares almost as little about stains.

9.       Which OC brings a chair because they can’t stand the thought of sitting on the ground?

a.       Remmi, but a lot of it is because they don’t want to risk getting their clothes too dirty and also because the ground is never as soft and even as you think or hope. So sitting on the ground, even on a blanket, hurts their butt.

10.   Imagine your OCs falling asleep after eating their food, content and happy.

a.       Milo is one of the first to nod off and lays down in the shade. He kicks his shoes off and lets the sun warm his feet while the shade keeps his face cool. He wakes up to groggily help pack everything back up.

b.      Glim doesn’t actually fall asleep. He just sort of zones out while playing with Milo’s hair and enjoying the breeze.

c.       After loading up on carbs, Remmi dozes off in their chair and wake up with a tender sunburn spread across their nose and cheeks. They vow to never fall asleep in the sun like that again, but they make the same mistake next time.

d.      Hanni has seemingly boundless energy throughout the day, which is a bit unusual for him as he often naps a lot when the sun is out, but is wired by the time the moon replaces it. As soon as they’ve packed everything up and are headed home, though, the excitement wears off and he crashes hard. He’s asleep the whole way back.

In every meaning of the phrase, it was sir Hammerlock to the rescue. It also turned out that sir Hammerlock was the one who Scooter had contacted and the one who was willing to go with you on the suicidal mission along with his lifetime partner, Wainwright Jakobs - who turned out to run the whole Jakobs company alter. Which was exciting you - you were just too furious to show any emotion.

"Thank for savin' our asses back there. I couldn't exactly handle the landin'." - Janey smiled at the duo driving the car while the rest of you sat in the trunk pressed on each other. It was rather uncomfortable for everyone, but everyone shut up so you wouldn't start another conflict.

"No problem, miss Springs. Wainwright and I knew about your planned arrival and as soon as you weren't on the spot on time, we knew something went wrong. Excuse us for arriving as late as we did, it wasn't the simplest task to find you in here." - Sir Hammerlock answered nonchalantly and you looked at that dude with a furrow. It wasn't that you hated him, but you were too angry to even say thank you. Scooter was pressed up to your side and you tried to scoop away to Rayray's side without a stroke of luck. That gross son of a bitch was just pressed to you and you could say that it makes him extremely happy.

"No problem, Hammylock! How had ya been? Ages since I saw ya for the last time!" - Scooter yelled directly to your ear and you were just ready to strangle him to death when the nearest chance comes by. That guy was just a pain in your ass.

"It was rather difficult, Scooter if I might say. I had a hard time accommodating here on Eden-6, but the fauna gives me much more choices than the Pandora's did!" - Hammerlock's big, rosy lips curled into a happy smile and you almost melted under the look he gave to Wainwright. These men were in love, there was no doubt about it. And you were with love at their idea of love.

"I have a new girlfriend, see?!" - Scooter yelled all over the car and suddenly, you two were the main interest of everyone. You were his what? He said what? Your patience was wearing thin and Scooter seemed to just make himself sure he'll piss you off as soon as he can. - "Ya have a similar arm, that's super cool!" - Athena was just as confused as you were along with everyone else in the car. Exactly since when you became his girlfriend? Did you miss that? Was he assuming this based on the fact you two held hands for about ten minutes? Was Scooter actually five? You moaned in distress and bit your lip.

"I see. Nice to meet you, miss! My friend's friends are my friends!" - Hammerlock turned at you with a smile and offered you a handshake. He had the metallic hand on the same side as you did - on his left. - "By any chance, are you two distantly related?" - Hammerlock asked with a furrowed face and you almost choked at the question once again.

"I haven't met this dude until two weeks ago. We're not even friends." - You yelled back at Hammerlock and he raised his eyebrows in wonder.

"I see, miss!" - He answered after a short while. - " You're stepping up your game, Scooter." - Hammerlock told the man beside you with a wink, whatever that meant. The rest of your way was almost awkwardly quiet since anyone knew why the hell Scooter would say that you two are in fact in a relationship. That dude seemed to be an actual five-year-old not having only severe brain damage, but showing a case of schizophrenia with seeing and feeling things that weren't based in reality at fucking all.

"This is some bubble shit." - You muttered out when you were getting off of Wainwright's car and almost hissed at when Scooter offered you his palm. No. Last time you held his hand, because you were scared to death, he figured out that you're dating.

But the amazement over Wainwright Jakobs' mansion was something that made you forget about everything as you tried to look at the house. Is was huge. Like fucking huge. You heard stories about this house being the foundation for every Jakobs rifle, revolver, shotgun, and stuff like that ever made. You loved to use the guns since you found yourself on Pandora’s surface, so this was like a beautiful dream.

"Are you shitting me?" - You looked at Athena and she gave an unknowing look back. - "This is the goddamn Jakobs mansion. Every Pandorian cowboy’s dream." - You whispered.

"That's true, miss. It's always nice to meet someone whos interest in my family's business... In a good way. And may I say, I haven't seen this shotgun for a long time." - Wainwright took the shotgun from your back and he skillfully flipped it between his fingers. - "I think that we don't make these for more than fifteen years. A true ancient one." - He put it back on your back.

"You-you’re... That Jakobs? Like that gunman Jakobs?" - You stuttered out, following him inside as Hammerlock offered everyone food and something to drink before a long meeting you were scheduled to have.  

"As far as I am concerned, I think I am. I can show you some of my wares and maybe give you a good-luck gun, how does that sound?" - Wainwright smiled at both you and Athena entering the meeting hall by his side. You almost suffocated. That Jakobs was willing to give you one of his guns as a gift? This adventure was slowly looking better and better.

"You won't be going with us?" - Athena asked when she saw you being on the verge of screaming, laughing, crying, smiling, and freaking out.

"No, unfortunately, I have a family business I have to keep my eyes on, but Hammy will be accompanying your little party. He already contacted a lot of people, so you don't have to be alarmed, ladies." - The man smiled, yet you barely got a word from what he said. You were still drooling and having heart-eyes because of the offer you got. A Jakobs’ gun will be given to you as a good-luck gift. Oh, dear Buttstalion, this was your best day.

It was kinda funny seeing Rayray and Blindy not being accustomed to such a luxury - any member of your party was, but in fact, you at least were living like normal people. These bandits were living in Ham’s Creek, one of the creepiest looking assholes you've ever had seen. Hammerlock offered you plates of fresh vegetables and fruits, which almost made you cry since it felt like centuries since you saw normal food for the last time. All you were eating on Pandora was Skag bacon and home-made bread, sometimes you didn't eat at all and drank vodka only. And they even had some normal water and juice. That house was heaven and you didn't want to leave. Ever.

"Now that we’re in safety and everyone's here, we might go through the plan Scooter and I had put together, shall we?"  - Sir Hammerlock smiled at everyone and adjusted the monocle with the broken glass he wore.

"We know that the distress call - if you wanna call it like that, came from Athenas. For those who might not know, this place was and is inhabited by sirens. So we knew that Maya is there possibly, which is why I didn't contact her for our cause - I'm sure she already knows what's heading their way." - He told you and suddenly, pictures of Athenas’ landscape appeared everywhere around you. It was a beautiful place - which you hummed to Athena while stuffing your face with slices of carrot.

"I tried my best with calling Brick, just as you said, Scooter, but he is off to his own business, I guess. Unfortunately, he won't be able to reach us. However, mister Mordecai had answered my call and he has only one condition - nothing shall happen to his new pet friend on our adventure." - Hammerlock smiled and when you saw pictures of these men, your breath got stuck for a moment. Youve only heard stories about Vault Hunters, since you were a child. But these men looked dangerous and unpleasant, especially Mordecai with his bottle of alcohol, just... Just like you were looking all the fucking time.

"I contacted miss Tina next, and I am courageous enough to say that she is more than thrilled to accompany us on our journey since she was screaming something including the world's bomb, mothersuckaz, and blowing up." - Another picture was showed to you and holy fucking christ, that girl looked insane. And that wasn’t meant to be a compliment. She looked nuts.

"Next on the list was mister Zer0, Marcus and Torgue, miss Gaige, mister Krieg, and mister Axton yet neither of them answered the call. And... The last one came to volunteer herself. This young lady’s name is Fiona and according to her words, she is a con-artist of sorts, as far as I was able to understand." - Hammerlock looked at Scooter. His eyes opened up and you didn't know what on Earth should be your response. You didn't know anyone from the names you've just heard.

"Naturally, I thought about the route we will have to take and to calm miss..." - He pointed your way since he hadn't even know your name. - "We won't be taking a flight by a rocket since our Fast Travel system is working just fine. We shall take a small detour to... Uh... Boom Town as it is called, to pick up Tina and mister Mordecai. Miss Fiona told me that she will meet us in Athenas. In my opinion, ten people, especially as dangerous as miss Tina, are enough to make a difference on the battlefield." - Hammerlock told each of you honestly. That sounded like a plan that someone thought about.

"And the attack, Hammerlock? How do we plan to do that?" - Athena next to you asked. Hammerlock nodded and pointed his finger at her, showing you other landscapes from Athenas.

"You had to notice that this terrain isn't exactly the most pleasant to have the surprise factor on our side. We talked with Scooter about this." - Hammerlock nodded and Scooter stood up.

"Janey and Pickle were using a thingy called Stingray on Elphis and I tell ya, man, that thingy is cool as hell. So, I thought about playin’ with the engine and gravity sensors a bit, makin’ it fly much higher than before! And we might need a machine to, ya know, even make us the damn car on that planet since I don't think it's connected to the network." - Scooter told Athena, and it could be heard that he's an expert in this area, and Janey jumped into the conversation with her engineering and mechanic talents.

"In that case, we have to do somethin’ about the core and the coverin’, mate, because I'm worried that this will be our biggest problem. Elphis didn't have atmosphere and Athenas do." - She said seriously and you looked at Wainwright with your heart-eyes again. Scooter nodded and both of them left the room to work on the machinery. Everything seemed to be too real for you. Just too real.

Happy walked out of the club house finding his little sister working on one of the cars that some rich lady brought in a couple of hours ago. He smiled to himself, thinking of all the amazing memories he and his sister shared. They were not that alike, except for the fact that they both loved speed and they both adored working on cars or bikes. 

She was very tomboy-ish. She loved to wear caps or beanies and usually had her hair in a pony tail so it didn't get in her face while working.

''Hey.'' A guy, around her age walked up to her just as she got from under the car she was currently working on.

''Hey, Michael.'' She greeted the guy she used to go to school with. ''What's up?'' She smiled as he offered her his hand, which she took and he pulled her up. 

''Nothing much, heard you were back in town so i wanted to come say hi.'' He said as the two hugged. It was one of the, so called, bro hugs, where two people bump shoulders and pat each other on the back if they're feeling especially affectionate. 

''Ah yeah, I went to a wedding.''

''No shit,'' The guy raised his eyebrow in disbelief, ''Don't tell me you wore a dress.'' 

''Yep, it's apparently mandatory when you're one of the braids maids.'' She rolled her eyes, fixing her trucker cap. 

''Dude, I would pay good money to see you in a dress.'' He said looking her up and down, his hand on her shoulder. She was wearing jean overalls and a white t shirt that was covered in smudges from the car oils and god knows what else. 

''Dude, Never gonna happen!'' She said in the same tone.

''Can I help you?'' Happy walked up to the two, his face dark and serious.

''C'mon Hap, we're just talking.'' Y/N sighed, knowing exactly what's gonna happen. He was always so protective. Needless to say that she never had a boyfriend because no she had ever gone out with had enough guts to face her brother, so her relationships usually consisted of one date and never speaking to that person ever again after happy had one of his thought with him.

''Talk without touching.'' Happy said shortly before flicking the guys hand off his sister's shoulder. 

''Don't worry, man, she's not my type.'' Mitchel lifted his hands in his defense. 

''Excuse me?'' Happy took a step forward, ready to punch the guy's face in.

''No, no, I didn't mean it like that.'' Mitchel almost stuttered. ''I'm in to guys.'' 

''Good.'' Happy said backing away before wrapping his arm around his sister. ''You can keep him, I like him.'' He said to his sister making her laugh and walked away. 

''Your brother is intense.'' 

''Yeah, but you are the first guy he actually told me to keep, so, congrats dude.'' She said making them both laugh.  ''Hey, you up for a beer? I need a break.''

''Sure.'' He nodded and the duo walked over to the picnic table.

Juice rode in to the MT, just as Y/N and some guy sat down at the picnic table. ''Who's he?'' He asked one of the new prospects as he parked his bike next to the others. 

''That's Michael, Y/N's friend.'' Rat replied.

''Friend?'' Juice couldn't help the bitter taste of jealousy that he tasted when he saw the two laughing. He has had a thing for Happy's sister for a while. She was something else. She almost never wore make up, but she looked like the most beautiful girl in the world to him. She wasn't really the type of girl he would usually go for. She was hot, there's no denying that and soon the two became friends. They shared so many interests and he could talk to her for hours and not get tired. 

''Yeah.'' Rat nodded. ''I think he was checking out Jax before, tho.''

''Good.'' Juice smirked to himself, knowing there's nothing to worry about. He walked towards the club house but decided to take the long way so he will be able to pass Y/N on the way. ''Hey.'' 

''Juice, hey!'' Y/N smiled looking up from her friend to see Juice, the boy she had a crush on since forever.  ''Juice this is Michael, Michael this is Juice.''

''Nice to meet you... Juice.'' Michael said a bit confused about the nickname. 

''You too.'' Juice said not really talking his eyes off off Y/N. ''Are we still on for tonight?''

''Yeah, I'll come by your room at 7.'' She smiled taking off her hat. 

''See ya.'' 

''Bye.'' Y/N smiled before Michael grabbed her hand.

''You didn't tell me you were banging the juicy Latino!!''

''What?'' Her eyes widened. ''No! We're just friends. We are gonna watch the world cup later.'' She shook her head. ''And for fucks sake please never say the sentence 'banging the juicy Latino' ever again.''

''But you like him, right?'' He ignored everything she just said.

''Maybe.''She shrugged, trying to play it cool. His eyes bore holes in her act. ''Okay.. definitely.'' 

''You two would look cute together.'' 

''Shut up!'' She slapped his shoulder making them both laugh.

It was 6:50 PM when Y/N walked down the hallway leading to the sons's Dorms. She was freshly showered, her hair in it's natural wavy state gathered on one side of her head. She wore some ripped jeans, white tank top and a red and black plaid shirt. 

She took a deep breath before knocking on Juices door. 

''Yeah.'' A familiar vice came from the other end of the door and she entered. 

''Hey, everything ready?'' She asked with a smile before looking around his  room. It was so tidy and clean that she felt right at home. She was always on Happy's case about cleaning a bit more. 

''Mhm.'' He smiled grabbing a bowl of popcorn and sitting down on his bed. 

She kicked off her shoes and joined him on the bed, looking up at the tv in front of them. The match hasn't started yet. 

''Had fun with your friend?'' He asked throwing a popcorn in to his mouth.

''Yeah.'' She nodded taking a hand full of popcorn and eating one of them.  ''He thinks you're a Bangable juicy Latino.'' She winked at him. 

''Is that so?'' He laughed, shaking his head. ''Is it true tho?'' 

''Huh?''

''Am I a bangable juicy Latino?'' He said making her look at him with surprise. They have been friends for a while now, but they never been flirty. 

''Well, Juan, You are pretty bangable, but i will never ever again refer to you as juicy.'' She shook her head, not being able to hide her smile. 

''That's good to hear.'' He said before laughing. ''That would be the preferred version, yeah.'' 

''Nice to know we are on the same page.'' She laughed, facing him not the tv. 

''Are we tho?'' 

''What are you talking about?'' 

''Y/N...I..'' Juice didn't know what to say or where to even start. He has wanted to tell her that he liked her so many times. But  now, when he finally got the chanse, he had no idea how to go about it. ''Fuck it.'' He cupped her face and leaned in, pressing his lips to hers. 

It took her a second to realise what was happening. She didn't kiss back and he pulled away after realising she is not reacting the way he hoped for. 

''I.. I'm sorry, Y/N.'' He let go of her. ''I shouldn't have done that.'' He shook his head. ''I'm sorry.''

''Juan-'' 

''No, no, I'm sorry. Can we just pretend this never happened?'' She could see anxiety all over his face. His body was tensed up, his forehead wrinkled, blood pumping trough his veins.

''Juan!'' She raised her voice, making him look at her. ''Shut up!'' She said with a smile before leaning in and kissing the man in front of her. This time it took him a second to react but once he figured out what was happening he grabbed her hips as her hands fund their place around his neck. She crawled on top of him, straddling his lap. 

''Really?'' He asked with a smile, not sure if this is happening or if he is dreaming. 

''Really.'' She nodded with a giggle before kissing him again as he wrapped his arms around her, bring her closer to him. 

''Why the hell didn't we do this sooner?'' Juice smiled, with everything going on with the club this was by far the highlight of his week, hell, it was the highlight of his year. 

''Dude, I don't know.'' She  shook her head, taking a second to just look at him. Really look at him. His brown eyes sparkled and his smile, oh his smile...

''Hey, is Y/N here-'' Happy walked in to Juice's room without  knocking and stopped in his stacks when he saw them. His sister was on top of Juice, who's hands were on her ass, they were pretty close, as if they were kissing a second before. ''Y/N!'' Happy did his best to keep his voice calm. ''Get. Off. Him.'' 

''Hap, wait, don't do this!'' She tried to calm him down as she got up from the bed. 

''Happy, I... It's not what you think..'' Juice tried to explain but before he knew it Happy was in front of him, punching his face.

''Happy!!'' Y/N yelled, not sure what to do as the men found themselves on the floor, throwing punches at one another. ''Juan!!'' 

She let out a sight as not one nor the listened to her. ''Fine, kill each other then.'' She rolled her eyes and walked out of the room. 

''What the hell was that about?'' Gemma as Y/N walked in to the bar and sat down next to her.

''Long story short. Happy walked in on me and Juice making out.'' 

''Ah..'' Gemma nodded, giving her a glass of whiskey. It was nothing new for the sons to fight. 

''Yeah.'' The  girl shook her head taking a sip of  her drink. 

''Oh the other hand. I wont a bet thank to you.'' 

''What?'' 

''Me and Unser might or might not made a bet on when you and Juice will get together.'' Gemma shrugged. 

''What?!''

''Don't act so surprised. Everyone knew you two had a thing for each other.'' 

''Seriously?'' Y/N asked before laughing at the way Gemma looked at her as if to say 'Are you really surprised?'

About 15 minutes later Juice and Happy walked out, both bloody. ''Took you long enough.'' Y/N rolled her eyes as she saw her brother and the guy who she was kissing minutes before make their way to her. 

''You can keep him too.'' Happy said as they reached her. 

''Seriously?'' The girl couldn't help but be surprised. 

''You do know i'm not a dog, right?'' Juice said walking up to her before wrapping his arm around her.

''I know, Dogs are much more cute.'' Happy told him and walked away making his sister laugh.

''That's debatable.'' Y/N said before kissing Juice.

''I will ignore the fact that you're comparing me to a dog if you kiss me again.''

Whatever you think: it is still going to be countered or briefly deconstructed - counter, go ahead: I know the actual perverts when they sniff or clear their throat. Hints mark distance.

No worries, people know wrong is wrong.

Earth attack with a pickup line for when it will zap least because of desperation. If you say what you mean thru tunnels of empathy checkpoints direct it to enemies. It is asexual and you remove yourself - you take drugs and risk your family’s curtesy. One aches when relieving some sort of statement that is past relevancy - at least there is conversation in the wild west. You wonder if I love you - might as well kill me.

I know the sin - that is my profession: kreeshaha 6. If you draw a blank that means you have admitted - at least that is how you make new friends opposite of disappear. What will catch on? Peppermint? Cinnamon rolls? Think of as many people as you can - betray your best friends if you are the devil. Old people will think you are cool if you show what they forgot about.

Gremp Review: Dr Herregods

Okay, today’s new grandpa that I adore!

I’ve been playing the remake of Sonny lately and TOTALLY having a nostalgia explosion! Its like a reboot of an old classic Flash game series I used to play a lot as a kid. The art, music, and everything has had a HUGE update, and they even added some new characters! Its a shame, however, that we lost the animated sprites and ability to see visual changes as you equip stuff. I’m guessing they just didnt have the budget to make it happen with the high res graphic update. Also some of the story changes are a bit weird, but an equally large amount of them are super good, so it all balances out. I just wish all the new characters didnt REPLACE the old characters, yknow?

At least Veraduz stuck around, and now he’s got a cool expanded backstory and reasons for joining your party. Its not just ‘we’re both zombies, lets stick together, i found a robot suit and somehow instantly knew how to use it’. Nah, instead now he’s a regular human who actually OWNS that robot suit, he starts off on the other side and joins you after seeing you’re sentient and deserve to live. Also he’s a disabled veteran whose robot suit is basically a mobility device to replace his lost legs. That’s instantly incredibly sympathetic and interesting! And still he’s our cool sassy giant buff healer dude and major BROTP with the protagonist. Woo~! ANYWAY, less rambling about loving that character, and more rambling about loving the new ones!

One of the best new changes to the plot was the addition of Dr Herregods, aka SUPER SCIENCE GRANDPA!

Further review below:

He’s actually the only new character who technically did exist in the original flash game, he used to be a tough bonus boss battle and got promoted to playable here. Obviously he took a huge power cut, but he’s actually still pretty damn strong! He starts off fragile but he gets A LOT of really good attacks. He can set up barriers and regen on his allies and DEAAAAR GOD am I happy that the ally AI is great in the remake, he’s saved me so many times! And his actual damage output isnt very good even if you buff him up, but he has Acid Element which bypasses defense buffs. Usually you have mr fragile grandpa dealing half as much as everyone else, and then when you face some overblown buffed up thing he’s suddenly the sole savior of the world! AND he can deal useful attack debuffs, so he frees up a move slot on your protagonist if you dont need to worry about those. Here I’ve got him very stacked up with defensive items at the expense of everything else, cos even if he’s buffed its not like he’s ever gonna be super fast or strong. Its best to just cover his fragility! Currently he’s actually one of the best defenders, I went with fragile speedster build for my other two party members Sonny and Kara. (Incidentally I love Kara! I wish Felicity didnt have to be replaced by her tho, is it some sort of rule that these games must only have one playable lady?) Tho the fragile build is fun to play in its own right! It just feels super in-character that he’d be like an overpowered useful buffer mage dude that you have to protect. The enemy still seems to try and take him out more often than not, even when he has enough extra defense to withstand it. LEAV GRANDPA ALON

Anyway, the Sonny games have never been super dialogue heavy or well written, tho the remake adds a lot of extra scene which has been nice. Its still kind of a crazy cliche storm, but its a sassy one with high production values and a SUPER well developed high difficulty battle system. The ways they make buffs and statuses and passives interact.. god, its beautiful! And in the remake you have a choice of way more elemental paths to customize, and can even ‘evolve’ moves mid battle. its like a limit break but you choose to turn one of your regular moves into a limit break and it stays that way for the rest of the battle! So you get advantages the longer the fight goes on, and the more damage you can take without dying. However the limit breaks are subject to the RNG so sometimes you get a bunch of buffs that arent actually useful for your selected move, and you basically waste your whole bar. Alas! ANYWAY LESS RAMBLING ABOUT HOW FUN THE GAME IS, YO

So yeah, nobody has a super developed personality or many scenes to show it off in. But still I LOVE NEW GRANDPA! He’s my favourite sort of thing: an evil grandpa that isnt evil. He’s your own personal mini evil! He’s got all the character traits of an evil scientist, apart from the bit where he’s on your side. And he gets to act as the comedic guy with all the vices, but still he remains loyal to you guys, and his whole moveset is supporting his friends, and i just LOVE HIM!!! *hug* I am a bit sad tho that he’s another different medic character, so you kinda have to choose between him and Veraduz. At least everyone still gets to appear in story scenes regardless of who’s in the party, so it doesnt really matter. Veraduz is still your super bff who gets the most screentime of everyone! OH, but actually ALSO a reason I love new grandpa!!! He becomes the guy who gets the second most scenes after Veraduz, and he’s like THE MOST IMPORTANT to the story! His introduction works REALLY well to make the early stages work a bit better. Before you were just journeying wildly with no real motive except ‘people are trying to kill me, keep running until this problem ceases to continue’. Now you meet a rogue scientist early on and he gives you a general goal and motive, you’re trying to find out what’s actually going on and he’s analyzing the different zombies you find along the way, showing you directions to find his laboratory eventually. He falls out of focus after he gives us this motive in the intro, but he still remains pretty useful in tutorialing how to use your new mutation specializations. And its justified that you get them cos he stuck a syringe of his latest crazy experiment into your neck. He’s helping!! In his own special way!! Seriously this is just WHY I LOVE HIM! He’s such a nice good hero man who 100% thinks like a sci fi villain, and the contrast makes for a lot of funny scenes. I legit thought he was gonna just be a temporary party member who backstabs you at the end of the chapter, i was SO GLAD that I was wrong! Ominous ambiguously evil man who never becomes evil ever is such a better trope! “Hey look that latest terrifying enemy is really damn cool, I’d love to cut it open. And genetically engineer a new and better zombie virus. And test it on you, specifically.” *does so* *and nothing but good things happen* *thanks grandpa*

FINAL GREMP RATING!

Personality - How much of a unique self this grandpa has, and how interesting. Stereotypical grandpa archetypes are still loveable, but it doesn’t exactly stand out above the rest!

Dr Herregods has the same sort of appeal as other fave characters of mine, like Charon. Except with even more appeal cos he actually does join the hero team! He’s a big eccentric that you wouldn’t usually expect for this kind of medic class gramps role! ‘Evil science man’ is kind of an archetype that’s often given to grandpas, but I mean you can’t say it lacks personality! I’m just... predictable!! I really love when the ‘mad scientist’ gets to turn good! ITS SUCH A GOOD PERSONALITY, DON’T LIMIT IT TO VILLAINS However Dr Herregods isn’t grumpy or sassy, he’s just more of a cheerful dude who really loves his job of making super zombies and is comedically oblivious to everyone else thinking its an evil hobby. That’s endearing in its own way! Nobody really gets a huge amount of dialogue or development in this game though, so take his rating with that in mind.

Design - How appealing does this grandpa look as a character? How endearing, how distinctive, how much does it suit him?

His design isn’t particularly new or interesting, he honestly just looks like the third stage of bugcatchers in pokemon.

However it’s still nice that he became a grandpa at all in this remake, when his original design was just this generic npc model.

Prominance - How big of a role this grandpa plays in the actual plot or gameplay.

This is actually where he excels! its so rare to find a good playable grandpa that isn’t like a super tiny plot role, or vice versa. And most of my faves are usually neither, and mad science grandpas especially tend to get the short end of the stick! I love him just cos he’s like if someone like Charon or Hojo got to be the hero of the story! Also he is REALLY USEFUL in a fight! Also DID I MENTION I LOVE THIS CHARACTER??

G R A N D P A -  Bunni’s very personal concept of what makes me want to adopt this grandpa. How well does he fill the void in the life of someone who had a shitty family devoid of loving guardian figures and projects way too much onto fictional characters?

OH MAN, I think if he was my actual grandpa we would have all sorts of crazy adventures together! And we totally have the same opinion on how monsters are HELLA AWESOME and it would be epic to gain super undead powers! Yo grandpa give me the super juice, I wanna shoot lightning from my zombie eyes!!! Also he’s just... like... GENUINELY GOOD! For once he’s not my guilty pleasure redemption fanfic dude who would never actually join the hero team in canon. This grandpa would legitimately be a caring friend!
