I've been wanting to do an spy x family au for kunikidazai for long, and kunikidazai week on twitter next month gave me the final push (sorry not sorry for the big-ass bsd streak), sooo:

“Aww.” Kunikida was about to briefly comment on the kid's manners when Dazai cooed, and everything became forgotten for the time being. “What a cute duo you make. Are you happy, Atsushi-kun?” “Yeah!!! I'm very happy with my papa, yeah.” Atsushi instantly said, nodding just as quickly. “But sometimes it's lonely, just Papa and I…” In that position, even though he couldn't see the kid's face, Kunikida could bet he was pouting like when he thought he wasn't going to be allowed to eat dessert. “And I think Papa gets lonely too…”
