it's nice to see mystery trio aus that aren't fiddlestan tbh. The amount of times I'll see one, think it looks interesting, and then it just turns into "wow Stan, you're so much nicer and cooler than your lame brother! Lets date!" And act like it's some kind of karma for Ford or something.
I definitely agree with your take that so often fiddlestan is just used as a way to express dislike of Ford, while ignoring any of Stan's canonical flaws
As a side note, since this is more of personal headcanon territory, but i think Stan would find Fiddleford too reminiscent of Ford when he was young to actually be interested.
Anyway, i always love to see Stan in his natural habitat (being a chaotic uncle)
I love the idea of the Mystery Trio. I think these three would play off each other really well. They're cute and funny together, but you don't need Fiddlestan. It feels like people treat it as a given that if offered the choice between Stan and Ford Fidds would choose Stan. Which is kind of shitty. (Low key it kind of reads to me like Ford is assumed the worse partner because he's autistic :/ even if people aren't consciously treating him that way.)
I think it's kind of presumptuous to assume Fidds would be into Stan anyway. Like physically attracted to him? Sure, obviously. If he finds Ford attractive odds are good Stan would also be nice to look at, but relationships aren't just physical attraction and it's obvious from the journals and BOB that Fidds had a very strong connection to Ford. If he's in love with an autistic nerd enough to throw his life away for him why would people assume Stans's wildly contrasting personality would somehow be more appealing?

I've actually had this comic kicking around in my mind for a while and this ask gave me a good excuse to draw it. (Though it took longer than expected)
While I don't think Fidds would ever choose Stan over Ford, I do think Ford would be a bit of a jealous and insecure partner. He's used to a lot of social rejection and struggles to maintain connections with people. Not to mention trust issues, especially after Bill who tried to sabotage his faith in Fiddleford in particular.
I wouldn't put it past Ford to get antsy seeing Fidds get along with his brother even if there's absolutely nothing going on there.
Also, I hadn't considered the suggestion that Stan might find Fidds nerdiness a turn-off because it reminds him too much of his brother, but yeah I could see it. Still, I'd buy Stan being interested in Fidds before I could really see the other way around happening. I think Stanley's tastes are bit broader but Fiddleford I imagine to have a bit more of a type. At least where romantic attraction is concerned. That said I don't think Fiddleford's actual tastes are really considered, I think he gets shipped with Stanley by people who want to see Stanley get that kind of overbearing love that Fidds showed to Ford. I do understand wanting to give him that kind of partner but Ford deserves love too, we don't need to be taking his healthy romantic option away from him and leave him with Bill. (His abuser.)

Obligatory you’re hot
Do we know why Emmrich wears the red glove? I feel like it should’ve been mentioned but I can’t find an answer.
mwah mwah
I have not heard nor seen any mention of his red glove in terms of Dragon Age lore. Whether it is simply a design choice or has symbolic meaning, we are not sure -
However, applying reality symbolism may provide some insight or headcanons for you.
There is a poem by John Milton called Paradise Lost, where the red right hand represents divine vengeance.
This poem has had a profound impact on pop culture, including video games, so it wouldn't surprise me if this was used as a guide for Emmrich's character. This poem has inspired works within Warhammer 40:000, Fallout, and Darksiders.
Specific to Emmrich: Within the poem, Milton discusses mutality of marriage and his view on love where he states, "The relationship between Adam and Eve is one of "mutual dependence, not a relation of domination or hierarchy". Which I think is a great line in terms of MW Rook and Emmrich coming from the Mourn Watch, a suspected death cult.
The poem's main themes discuss the complexitities of human relationships and the nature of 'good' and 'bad'. Inferring to the red right hand of God. I don't belieive Emmrich see's himself as a God, but I do believe he considers himself a 'Bishop' in terms of their meaning. Sherapparing lost souls (spirits) to a higher sense (fade). A bishop also represents a senior member (senior necromancer) of a clergy (Mourn Watch) which can be in charge and empowered to confer holy orders (commune with dead). This also inspired my 'Rook to Bishop Four' fanfiction series title.
This is a cover of Nick Cave's original song which was inspired by the Paradise Lost poem - which I think speaks alot of Emmrich's underlying characteristic traits.
"He's a god, he's a man, he's a ghost, he's a guru". Lich Lord, Mortal, Connection to spirits/wisps, Professor.
"Hidden in his coat is a red right hand" - Inferring that Emmrich has the ability to behave radically, but keeps it hidden under a cool composure. I say this in terms of if Emmrich was to be emotionally unhinged.
youtube
Gloves offer a note of symbolism.
Gloves symbolize higher status, and nobility.
and as Neve Gallus and I have deduced that because Emmrich tries to cover up his commoner background to gain more respect -
"It is likely that Emmrich believes that if he appears grandiose in his appearance and is articulate in the way he speaks he can therefore elude people to his commoner origins; people won't question that he belongs if he has stature, or at least appears as if he does."
It is very very likely that Emmrich wears the glove as a way to appear noble and put together.
Otherwise it's just straight up a red glove on his right hand.
but that would be boring, wouldn't it dear?

npd soul is also very good! I'm partial to npd mind personally, something about his unrelenting standards for himself and others, need for logical perfection, and overall sense of self-importance despite denying himself weaknesses that make up that "self." he denies that he has emotions because that would make him less perfect. that would be a flaw, and he can't have those. he's the logical one, the most efficient one, not the petty one with a bruised ego. I've seen others talk about this headcanon nd I think it's neat.
I like aspd heart, though I don't have any clear evidence to point to. I think it would fit in the themes of nuanced mental health discussion. let the heart have the disorder many deem "heartless"- but beyond that personal reasoning, I think his disregard for conventional rules but strong sense of personal morals, willing to do things people deem as "immoral" for what he believes is just, along with his lack of considering consequences for those actions is something to consider.
contrary to popular belief, many people with aspd have a strong moral code. it's something a lot of them will discuss! they don't have any regard for conventional morality as defined by the justice system, but a lot of them have their own personal codes. it might not be what you consider moral, but they're not entirely without morals like people believe. for example, someone with aspd may be aggressive towards people they perceive as weak because of their belief in survival of the fittest (rather than what most see as senseless malice). heart displays this in a way by doing something many consider immoral because of his strongly held conviction that mind's attitude is harmful. it's not a good action to take, but he's acting out of what he believes is just.
they're talked about like aimless monsters, and some medical associations even discourage giving them psychiatric help, and recommend that aspd not be treated at all unless court ordered. this pushes more of them into the industrial prison complex, which further stigmatizes aspd as the "evil person disorder." so on a personal level, I want to offer a chance for positive representation that these people so rarely get.
bpd soul propaganda
his relationships with heart and mind are extremely tumultuous. he alternates between encouraging support and harsh criticism. he wants them to be close and loves them, but he's easily frustrated by their conflict and despises them for it.
he seeks a stability that seems impossible for him to achieve. when he doesn't feel like he can be stable, he threatens suicide because it feels like his only option. suicidal and self-destructive behavior is really common in bpd, especially in response to interpersonal distress and instability.
he has very little sense of self. identity isn't something he feels like he has the right to have (since personal separation is contradictory to trying to be Whole), but also, it seems like something he just can't get a grip on even if he tried.
I think that he has extreme attachment issues in concord. he's terrified that things will go wrong again, worried one of them will get hurt or disappear whenever he's not keeping an eye on them. he wants to know exactly where they are and be told when they're leaving because otherwise he'll panic about their absence.
on that note, his fears of hurting them or ruining things when things seem stable are something a lot of people with bpd struggle with. there's this underlying fear that the things "inherently wrong with you" will ruin everything you touch, either because of personal experience or internalized demonization.
if you headcanon Whole as a distinct person, that would be his favorite person. the extreme, almost religious idealization and having your entire sense of self revolving around a person (or really, the perception of perfection you have of a person) is a clear sign of having a favorite person. the abandonment issues would also be the worst with Whole, for obvious reasons
also i think it would be neat if this was a more widespread concept

Sehkmet the Just. Devoted Paladin of The Lord of the North Wind; The Wyrmking; King of Good Dragons; The Platinum Dragon Bahamut
More silly Tavs. haha can we tell that I started out drawing animals and have for way longer than I’ve drawn people?
Tumblr media
Sehkmet’s an Oath of Vengeance Paladin and always keeps her word, or will die in the attempt.
I imagine she’s been resurrected once before after falling in battle against the cult of Tiamat.
She devoted her life to serving as an instrument for Bahamut’s vengeance after losing her clan to followers of Tiamat as a wee cub.
So she’s very devout, but also gets to be a whole himbo, as a treat. She and Hollow (my durge) would ask together with full earnestness ‘what animal is the pink panther’ and Sehkmet would probably forget after a week.
Some Headcanon-y Things
Heals by giving lil’ forehead kisses and will absolutely not tolerate anyone hiding injuries, she’s lost too many a good ally to let that slide.
Helps with cooking by prepping the food so Gale has a little less work to do; Can freeze food for later too
White Dragonborn are more adapt for the cold, so Sehkmet’s got a thick downy fur, ideal for cuddling; everyone has slept with at least once for the best platonic cuddles (maybe minus Lae’zel until much later)
Has no idea what a shirt is, not really, but she prefers to go without when resting. Only somewhat understands modesty, everything for Dragonborn is extremely internal so she understands in concept, but not necessarily for herself
Does laundry for everyone, finds the repetitiveness to be meditative and is particular about strong smells, so doing it is a win-win. Patches up any holes she finds too.
Fascinated by hair, loves to style it and learned how to when a few war clerics taught her to. Lae’zel, Shadowheart, and Gale all thought she was giving them *the look* but she just wanted to play with and style their hair.
I need to practice muscular bodies a bit, but she’s built like a seven-foot tall truck and hits like a train.
Can only see out of one eye, lost total use of her right one while training to join her order but the vision had been failing most of her life.
She was a secret fan of *The Blade of Frontiers* before meeting Wyll because she’d heard he also only had one functioning eye and was still able to be a champion of the people.
did not, however, realize she was older than him. She’s still a fan.
Spends at least one evenings each tenday polishing and caring for the party’s armor, after proving to Lae’zel she did an acceptable enough job to be entrusted hers as well.
Scarily fast, especially out of her armor. She was too slow, once, to save a cleric who’d trusted her to be their shield. She’d vowed to never be too slow again, and she always keeps her word.
Offers mercy and a second chance unless it’s been proven to her that a beaten enemy won’t do better; She follows Bahamut’s own words on the matter, no justice without mercy and no penance without forgiveness
Would probably be a theater kid
Spars with Lae’zel and Karlach on the regular in camp. I like the idea that Dragonborn can replace teeth but it’s not common knowledge yet, so it’s funny to picture:
Karlach knocking out a couple teeth and being extremely apologetic and starts looking for the teeth
Sehkmet’s just confused because she’s assumed her whole life everyone’s teeth regrow and is confused why Karlach’s dragging Shadowheart over with her old teeth asking if she can put them back.
Lae’zel is amused (Gith definitely would also be able to regrow teeth, selectively bred warrior race and all) and uses the moment for one of her lovely little Githyanki supremacy tangents.
Sehkmet is just standing there, staring at the horizon in concern, like ‘You all don’t regrow teeth?!’ and thinking about how many belated apologies she needs to make
Karlach is still holding bloody teeth
Lae’zel and Shadowheart are fighting (flirting) again
Astarion is over by the cookout bugging Gale and watching the show
Gale and Wyll are still thinking at least they’re normal
the Emperor is still imploring you to eat a tadpole.

☆ Hey peoples 😁 thought I should share an Aran Ryan headcanon based on how I structure my drawing lol (its kind of nice to have stuff logged on here so I can go back to it :P)
☆ Idk if this needs a content warning or anything sorry, but theres a good chunk of talk about medication and mental health❗
Tumblr media
☆ So for one I feel like he has ADHD, and that's kind of where my whole ramble will stem from
☆ Back in Ireland, he was actually treated for his ADHD (and only because he was considered a pain so there "must've" been something wrong with him)
☆ When moved from home (snuck out 😭 more on that at some point), he pretty much took what he can put into a carry on bag and at the time he had around a years worth of medication
☆ When he got to New York, he was pretty much as clueless as you can be, just recently turning 18 and also never leaving Ireland prior to that so it was a huge mess
☆I feel like with that scramble came the entire medical care being a huge confusion for him as well, not knowing how he would be able to renew his medication or if he even could
☆ With time he ran out of his initial prescription, and that sharp withdrawl took a heavy toll on him to say the least
☆ He was incredibly irritable and had sporadic bursts, not good as the clean, firm and fierce SPO Aran he was portraying himself as 😭
☆ It made him have some cutoffs with some of the other boxers who he was honestly pretty close with, like Narcis Prince and Piston Hurricane, thinking his behavior is offputting and not like him
☆ (This was also around the general time I think he would face up against Masked Muscle and have a literal crashout after getting spit in the eye- insane revelation to him, because if this goober can just straight up cheat why cant he?)
☆ I still don't think he has bothered asking or researching how to get back on his prescription, partially from feeling like he can manage without it (lie) and just feeling really embarrassed about it
☆ He let it slip while drinking with Soda at some point, and while Soda is one to always have confidentiality over anything said to him, especially during drinking nights, this felt different and it felt negligent to not point it out to someone who can help so we'll see where it goes from there 😭🙏
☆ That is my ramble take it or leave it!!!! Heres a doodle for surviving the ramble (He looks different EVERYTIME I draw him this is so cruel)

Hi here’s a loooooooooonggg rant from the one that can’t go on without inserting Wilford into every egos life in any way possible…
For context: I see engineer mark as a separate person from actor mark, but he’s also like actors self insert, or how he interprets himself if he were an awesome engineer in the year 2080- something. This doesn’t mean that they’re the same person, at least not anymore, they just have a lot of the Same personality traits and the same name.
I also see a large portion of iswm in general as a really messed up retelling of wkm that’s been retold and reset so many times it’s become a completely new and different thing. This isn’t saying that every iswm character is supposed to symbolize every wkm character, but at one point, SOME were vaguely based off of marks interpretation of his wkm friends. It’s kinda like an answer to the ship of Theseus.
Anyways, One of the things we see as the captain is mark being stuck with the warp core where we watch him tweak out and slowly build the warp core up again which makes that chain reaction that sets off kinda everything that happens in iswm. I’m saying this cuz I like thinking it’s a parallel to actor mark creating his vengeance plan against William and stuff. I see it that way because both engineer marks and actor mark were stuck in isolation for forever, and they couldn’t die, so they were miserable. AND AND AND, both marks FIRMLY BELEIVED their closest friend (engie’s being the captain and mark’s being William) were ACTUALLY EVILLL AND THEY WANTED TO STOP THEM . The creation of the warp core and the poker night both came from this crazed and desperate guy who convinced himself that what he was doing, despite it being bound to hurt people, was the right thing to do.
The only difference between engie and actor tho is that engineer mark felt actually so terrible after he realized that he was in the wrong, while actor mark genuinely CANT see that he even COULD be wrong.
MEANWHILEEE Wilford’s in iswm, it doesn’t matter why, he’s just kinda doing whatever. I like thinking that at one point Wilford would’ve seen engineer mark at his lowest. Wilford, being actually so sad and stupid as a character, would see actor mark in engineer mark. Like he sees a lot of iswm characters like if they were just wkm characters in silly costumes. This is a coping mechanism cuz deep down Wilford KNOWS he’s not talking to his old friends at all.
Just like in WMLW, I think Wilford would want to try to make amends with actor mark , but actor really REALLY hates Wilford, so this could never happen. Until Wilford meets engineer mark yayyyyyyy 😛😛
So then Wilford tries saying sorry for everything and I miss you and whatever to who he thinks is his ex best friend and little brother (I hc them as step brothers) but it’s just engineer mark being like “..ok…🤨”
BUT THEN ALSO LAST THING LAST THING, since Wilford caught engie at such a low point in his life he would feed into Wilford’s delusions because engineer mark (just like actor for a time) is completely alone and has nobody. And since engineer mark is like actor marks space self insert, and mark put a lot of his personality into engineer mark, engie feels a familiar resentment to Wilford but also a familiar longing to hear him out and he doesn’t know why and probably never will and when engineer mark realizes and accepts that he’s in the wrong which breaks the cycle of actor marks self destruction infliction of pain into everybody else, JUST WHEN EVERYTHING IS OVER AND ENGINEER MARK FINALLY GETS A BETTER LIFE OUT OF THAT DAMN SHIP, he might not even remember who told him whatever he had to hear at his lowest, but he’ll remember that whoever they were, they helped him a little. maybe. just a bit..
That’s all I have that’s the end of the rant if anybody has something ANYTHING AT ALL to add pleaseeeeeee do I’m desperate to talk about obscure Markiplier lore and headcanons to anybody

put the toxic dylric headcanons in the BAG!! hand em over
toxic dylric headcanons!
as i said in my video several people asked me for this so…heh…thanks guys…these also might not be great because im so tired right now i might make better ones later
tw for self harm and eating disorders
why so much ed content?? im projecting
Tumblr media
theyre both equally as toxic to each other i think, but a lot of these are gonna be on erics part because i need some classic abusive eric content im sorry (and also i cant think of much for dylan right now)
dylan and his eating disorders. my, my. where do we start. eric finds out about dylans issues once he starts to drastically lose weight and he tells him that he shouldnt be doing that, but at the same time he finds out he has a weird thing for it and is basically like “omg dont do that vee thats bad…well…maybe a little more for me wouldnt hurt…” (shoutout to my friend for helping me make this one)
eric definitely snaps at dylan a lot and will yell at him over small things. dylan doesn’t appreciate it so then he will leave and ignore eric until eric is being desperate and apologizing way too much.
adding onto that i think whenever dylans hanging out with his friends eric would call him and be a total bitch about why he wasnt invited/why dylan is with them instead of him.
sex between them is definitely a little rough. neither of them can listen to each others needs and wants very well, especially eric. a lot of the things they do are under negotiated and sort of happen and come out of nowhere.
dylan can definitely get really annoyed and moody and just like completely ignore eric no matter how much he tries to fix it. at that point he would also be ignoring him in school and not answering him whenever eric needs to talk to him about the plans.
eric doesnt like the scars that dylan has. he thinks they look bad on him - he thinks its a waste of time for him to do something so destructive only for it to heal over and barely leave a mark. anytime he comments on it dylan just tells him off.
they both have issues with accepting their homosexuality and it shows. they call each other faggots all the time and will blame those types of things on one another - blaming each other for being the reason they get it on basically.
also eric has definitely pretended dylan was a girl during sex more then once which made him uncomfortable, but obviously he doesnt stop because he doesnt wanna be fucking a dude.
theyre both the type to get into massive fights and arguments that leave them bloody and bruised only for them to resolve it with angry make up sex and then be like “we are never gonna fight again fuck that smh” but it happens again shortly after.
neither of them have any ideas on how to properly set boundaries. eric would be real touchy and forceful with dylan because he didnt set boundaries for that while dylan would be too emotionally heavy and put his problems onto eric because he didnt set anything for that.
eric will trace over and touch all the bones that stick out on dylan because of how skinny he is while dylan will make a show of the weird dip thing eric has on his chest. basically them getting back at each other.

Laughing Jack Headcanons Part 2
this is literally my character app lmfao I've been coming up with ideas about him since I started fangirling (badly) for him again so let's go.
* . °•★|•°∵ ∵°•|☆•° . *
Tumblr media
(gif/animation by @/ijustwannahavefun)
┊͙✧˖*°࿐
Tumblr media
★。\|/。★
⛧ Laughing Jack is essentially corrupted by Lucifer to be used as a weapon to obtain his vengeance on God for casting him out. When an angel was traveling the Jack-in-the-Box to Isaac, Lucifer sent one of his demons to attack the angel and put a "curse" on the box. This could explain why Laughing Jack-even before Isaac abandoned him-seemed to be murderous as he mutilated a cat when him and Isaac were playing outside.
⛧ LJ does have more of an "virtuous" voice. He has a gentle, almost father like, voice. It's usually for when he wants engage with someone he genuinely likes or if he wants to calm someone down. However, don't let this deceive you as it could be because of manipulation. Once he starts showing his true motives, his voice would become more sinister.
(His "innocent" voice headcanon that being Sebastian Michaelis: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OgBWOTtTp4Q)
(His "malicious" voice headcanon that being Alex Brightman's Beetlejuice: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QMrt9demNeA)
⛧ He takes interest in porcelain harlequin dolls. He was first introduced into making them around the late 1900s when he was targeting one of his victims and their brother was a merchant for harlequin dolls. Obviously LJ killed his victim and the brother because they were scamming and being evil by abusing their nephews and based on his new hobby, he captured their souls and sealed them in two porcelain harlequin dolls he created. They are both in a small, glass display in on of LJ's carnival tents.
⛧ Relating back to the previous one, Laughing Jack doesn't kill innocent children or people for that matter. Sure, he may scare or tease you, but he would never lay a finger on you unless if you are that of vile soul. Especially if you abuse children.
⛧ Laughing Jack loves studying astronomy. Whenever he walks outside on a full moon with stars aligned in the night sky, he would always wonder what it'll be like to travel across the galaxy. He even thought about if there's other life forms on different planets. This can explain why he is more stronger magic wise during the full moon period.
⛧ He is also a writer. When he began writing was as the same time Isaac was still being homeschooled. He learned how to do cursive writing. He would definitely write letters either warning someone about the dangers that lie ahead of them or would write a threatening one to his victim.
⛧ Laughing Jack has photophobia or has sun-sensitive eyes. This is most likely because he has been stuck in a dark, enclosed area for almost 13 years. He can technically be in sunlight but he'll have discomfort. So if you want to get away from him just shine a really bright flashlight in his eyes. One of the people Laughing Jack was protecting noticed this and offered him a pair of their old glasses because they had the same condition. LJ does wear them but only when no one can see his as he doesn't want to seem "vulnerable."
⛧ He is also very...old fashion. He prefers listening to music by a vinyl and a record player and doesn't understand the concept of technology or what the new generation is into. He is also very concerned about the "Get Alpha" slang...
⛧ If Laughing Jack gets stabbed or has one of his limbs cut off he could easily attach it back by sewing that area with just needle and thread and wrap it with his iconic bandages and it'll function like normal.
⛧ He loves the snow. Especially when it's at night. He finds it very magical and would take someone out with him to a snowy forest so they could have a walk and talk to each other about their deepest feelings.
⛧ His scent is that of a victoria sponge cake. It is actually a strong smell that you probably wouldn't even think it came from him.
⛧ For funnies, yes Laughing Jack does know all of the Sanrio characters.

A brief (yes, this is brief) collection of my thoughts about Scotland- Or Alasdair Kirkland: his motivations, backstory, personality, and all that jazz! I will be taking from both a historical and comic canonical aspects mixed with my own headcanons and interpretations.
Tumblr media
Enjoy the read~
Starting off strong with a basic understanding of Alasdair’s personality. While he doesn’t have a lot of screen time, we have enough to gather a basic understanding of what he is like. On the surface, Alasdair is a seemingly stoic individual, often carrying a neutral face and reacting to things with an impassive demeanor. This is only really half true though, as a lot of the times we see these kinds of reactions are almost always strictly with his brothers alone. When he is around people he’s less comfortable with, especially one’s he desires a bond with, Alasdair takes on both a more outwardly aloof personality, but also a noticeably more stressed one.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This leads me to my assumption that Alasdair likely has some sort of social awkwardness or social anxiety. It’s likely that he doesn’t interact with other nations outside of his brothers (especially since England is the only one of the four who go to world meetings). This leaves him with a sort of stunted social understanding and a struggle to be in control of his emotions in situations that he is unfamiliar with.
Alasdair is also likely autistic. Not only does he have this struggle with his emotions and anxiety around situations he has less experience with, but he also shows a lack of understanding of social cues on a few occasions. A good example is when Macawn (wales) starts proudly talking about King Arthur and his pride with how he was welsh and Alasdair interrupts him with an article of how King Arthur was actually Scottish. He continues talking about it even with Macawn being visibly upset at the thought and having such an attachment to King Arthur. You can see in Alasdair’s expression and mannerisms that he truly meant no harm sharing the information but didn’t notice the cues around him to not bring up such a sore subject around his brother. This is also more evidence on Alasdair’s struggle with social interaction.
Against popular belief (and fanon headcanon), Alasdair is a very sweet and loving man, caring for others outside of himself- especially his brothers. While, yes, he does pick on Arthur (England), he honestly has very good reason to. In fact, Alasdair loves his brothers so much that he actively gives up his own desires and wellbeing for their happiness and safety. In the Brexit arc, Alasdair wants to leave the uk because being in it is actively hurting him, yet he gives that idea up when faced with the thoughts of what his younger brothers would do without him.
Tumblr media
He loves his brothers more than anything- even if he lovingly makes fun of them from time to time. (But who doesn’t do that with their siblings.)*
*this is especially why I hate the fanon idea that Scotland is some sort of abuser- especially toward England- because in actuality he is the complete opposite.
((I will be getting more in detail about Alasdair and Arthur’s relationship later))
I will now shift my thoughts over to his backstory and how Alasdair’s childhood- teen years helped shape him into the man he is today.
Alasdair is a really interesting dude in the fact that, similar to Scottish history itself, he’s full of contradictions. He was raised practically in war- being likely born during the Roman invasion of Britannia, his teenage years being filled with Viking raids, and his adulthood of wars against England (and to an extent- internal disputes). To put it simply, he was raised a soldier. From the way that he acts in the comics- being very quick to act for the group’s self interest rather than self preservation and the fact he is prone to quick violent defense when threatened, it’s likely he still keeps a lot of the mindset that he would’ve had on the battlefield with him. He yearns for his freedom from his brothers and is aware of how much it hurts him staying with them, yet at the same time doesn’t want to leave them to fend for themselves and takes their happiness and safety into his own hands.
Canonically, he is the eldest. He was the one who had to help raise his brothers and watch what they all grew into with his own eyes. With this intense desire to keep them safe, I think he carries quite a lot of unshown guilt over a lot of things. I see a few people writing Alasdair like he is in denial of the monster Arthur became and doesn’t want to see the truth, which I think is actually the opposite of what’s likely happening. Alasdair out of any of them would be the most aware of Arthur’s descent and likely have a lot of guilt over it that he tries not to dwell on. I think his bullying of Arthur is both as an act of defiance to him and also an outlet for him to relieve his anger about how things turned out. He can turn that guilt into anger and direct it at England.
On the topic of his relationship with Arthur, combined with the topic of Alasdair’s contradictions, we come to the British empire. Do I think Alasdair hated what Arthur and the British empire were doing? Yes, do I think he was lowkey a coward and never really stood in true defiance against him? Also, yes. When it comes down to it, Scotland benefitted from the British empire- they helped create it and Scottish people also caused a lot of colonization by their hands (Northern Ireland being a good example) Alasdair wanted to stand up to Arthur.. but why didn’t he? I think to an extent he did.. but I think that lowkey.. Alasdair is just a pushover. I think he is. We can even see it in the brexit arc- he was very outwardly against the idea until they all said they wanted to and he went along with it because he didn’t want to split up the family. He loves his brothers to the point where he inadvertently ignores their mistakes and atrocities because he doesn’t want to truly hurt the only people he calls his family. His cowardice is also important because along with it comes his denial of that aspect of himself. He doesn’t want to be a pushover and a coward- he wants to be the strong warrior that he wanted to be when he was younger and had to fight for himself. He wants to protect people and the ones he loves and hates how easily he folds into negativity.
A really important relationship that I want to bring attention to (and often do a lot on my page) is Scotland’s relationship with Northern Ireland. A really interesting thing about Alasdair is his implied affinity for Logan (Northern Ireland ). I have a few explanations for this- an obvious one being that Northern Ireland was mostly settled and colonized by lowland Scots so ofc he has affection towards him, BUT I like to take another approach with the fact that Northern Ireland is likely the one brother that Alasdair really has a connection with. Arthur and Macawn are obviously quite close and are often seen agreeing with eachother or having a general connection that you don’t really see with Scotland. Alasdair is lowkey the outlier of the family and likely clings to Logan cause he’s the other ‘weird’ one.
Tldr- Alasdair is lonely. I really think he is. Even amongst his brothers, he has a loneliness that he can’t really fill. I think this is why he tries so hard to make friends in the story and why it lowkey upsets him so much when it fails
It is 3 in the morning currently so I will end this here, but I will likely have more soon. Thanks for reading!

(shakes a flowey plushie in front of you as bait) flowey face headcanons please. (continues to shake the plushie hoping you will take the bait)
well, for a flowey plushie…
the mechanics of flowey’s face rely on two things: magic and determination. it’s plant matter, yes, but it’s plant matter modified by the very nature of flowey’s existence. asriel’s dust had some residual magical qualities that were modified for flowey’s form. it’s how he can summon bullets, or manipulate vines, or change his face, or, heck, move.
now, determination is built on will and magic is a form of self-expression. so it’s logically sound that flowey’s face is a reflection of a.) what he wills it to look like, first and foremost, and b.) without will, natural emotion and expression of self.
when flowey woke up, since he didn’t have any particular will, his face drew on his magic rather than determination. and so, it reflected his inner sense of self, and therefore looked like asriel’s. exactly like it, in fact. a monster’s body is linked to their external sense of self, it’s a combination of magic and dust that manifests as what appears to be a physical form. that sense of self doesn’t shift after flowey’s death. not yet, at least. it’s why asgore recognized him so easily. only someone who knows asriel, is asriel perfectly could look so exactly like him.
when flowey decided it was better to start hiding his identity, he actively modified it. at first, he probably just willed his face into something simpler, that people wouldn’t recognize immediately. he had to decide on a candidate to mimic. he chose chara. it wasn’t obviously them, of course, but when it came to guidance he looked at their face for reference.
just a basic structure wasn’t enough, though. he still thought of himself as asriel, back then, and maintaining a fluid face while also keeping a false image up? it didn’t really work the best. so he settled on a handful of “sprites” that he could use interchangeably. picking and choosing the most memorable of chara’s faces and putting them on himself as the occasion demanded.
it got easier.
later on, flowey needed those faces. not really for hiding his identity any longer (that had become incredibly easy now, nearly second nature) but for keeping a poker face. a single slip-up, after all, and someone good at face reading could take a lot from it. that couldn’t happen. so he drilled the faces into his muscle memory until he could swap them out just like that.
he only really planned on having one scary face, but two couldn’t hurt! he practiced the second a lot more. it didn’t involve actually enlarging his face through magic (he’d run out of space), so it was easier. he perfected it so much, (changing the eyes was an act of genius on his part, he thought) that it became his “extra” face. a way of covering up any undesired emotion. feeling creepy? scary face. about to laugh at a joke? scary face. terrified for your life? scary face.
still with me? great!
the actual physical form of the face, however, is originally a lot like that of an ordinary flower. fairly hard to the touch, a little bit sticky. this is largely due to preservation on flowey’s part, since he sticks with a handful of pre-designed faces, there’s not a lot of natural movement there, and it doesn’t change shape at all.
see, there aren’t very many plants with naturally white centers. and in fact, if you look at any other golden flower… the centers don’t look white.
now, if you look at the amalgamates, their overworld sprites are entirely white. flowey’s face essentially functions like hardened amalgamate goo. he can shift it into various positions through a combination of will (determination) and magic (self-expression).
i mentioned before that it’s not malleable because he sticks with pre-made expressions. so, if you were to touch it, it would feel like the center of a daisy, or something similar, just maybe a bit more sticky.
this is considering, of course, that flowey sticks with the pre-planned expressions. the more shifting based on magic and genuine expressions, the more naturally malleable it could get. not necessarily super stretchy, and it would tend to stick together rather than form into strands, but it could end up slightly more flexible than a human face.
…okay, on that note, i think that wraps it up. clearly i think an unhealthy amount about the schematics of this fictional flower’s facial functions.

"Lucifer gave birth to Charlie"
Since the official introduction of Lucifer in the show and the fact that he's an angel that wouldn't necessarily need to follow sex norms (angels were genderless beings in the bible, in addition, Lucifer himself is able to shift forms), the idea of Lucifer being the one to give birth to Charlie rather than Lilith got pretty popular. This idea more than likely floated around before the show came out, but people were under the impression Lucifer was more serious and less of a wet cat of a man (despite it being stated before that he was pretty goofy). In addition, Lucifer is often put into a more, shall we say, "sub" position despite it being stated he'd be a switch due to his appearance and personality, and him "carrying Charlie" would add to that and it more than likely in part why people like this headcanon (plus any ships with him could then potentially have Lucifer be pregnant with the fan kid).
"Alastor is colorblind"
In addition, people have pointed out that since sinners are infertile, it would in theory make Lilith's bearing on Charlie not possible. By the same token, it would then mean she also could not impregnate Lucifer as she would still be infertile no matter which way.
IMPORTANT NOTE: It's come to my attention that some misinformation is going about! With my own research, I've found that "Viv confirming Lucifer giving birth to Charlie" was a FAKE SCREENSHOT. It was NEVER confirmed by Viv officially (as far as I've found). So this is very much still just a fan headcanon and NOT OFFICIALLY CANON as of posting this poll! This could change in the future, but it's currently only a headcanon thing and nothing canon. Please let me know with a linked source if I'm incorrect, but any screenshots about it are fake as far as I've found. Please take care to check sources and do your own research to avoid spreading misinformation!
A theory grew popular by the biology of deer, which Alastor is part of. Deer are stated to be "red-green colorblind", and given Alastor is part deer in hell, people have assumed this anatomy would follow. It's also a funny explanation as to why Alastor's whole appearance is only made up of red, as he'd only be able to see in shades of blue and green.
"Niffty is like Alastor's daughter"
This headcanon was INSANELY popular before the official start of the show, and is still going fairly strong post-show. Niffty had a very childish personality that still held up in the official show. However, they made a bit more of an effort to make it more clear that Niffty is by no means a child nor necessarily has a mind of one with her drinking alcohol, lewd expressions to the idea of bad boys, and of course her getting in a dominatrix outfit.
However, it was also the strangely positive relationship Niffty and Alastor had that got people into this theory. Niffty seemed like a character Alastor would get annoyed with but, contrary to this, he indulges her quite a bit compared to other characters. Even seemingly to enjoy her bizarre antics. So, the idea of Alastor seeing her as a daughter and/or Niffty seeing Alastor as a father became pretty popular. It's common for Niffty to be acting and seen like a kid with this headcanon, but there is the occasional interpretation with this idea but acknowledging Niffty is still very much an adult.
"Vox "bleeds" oil and/or blue blood"
Popular due to Vox having a TV for a head, some have suspected Vox's "blood" being more akin to oil than actual blood. But oil or not, people are often under the assumption that no matter which way, he bleeds blue rather than red. This just tends to be a popular idea among characters like Vox (like TV heads), what with him being made up of technology. Another headcanon that often accompanies this one is that his body is more mechanical than biological for no other reason but the fact his head's a TV and he is able to change out that TV head. But there's no real evidence of Vox bleeding blue aside from maybe his head (screens have something called liquid crystals in them and could potentially seep out a glowing blue liquid when broken, but don't quote me on that one).
In fact, any "blood" we have seen is red (Vox has drooled red for a few times, and we've seen both Alastor and Lucifer do the same, the former also having red and the latter gold as that would be Lucifer's blood). However, seeing as it would be less strong of a visual if the blood was blue with where we've seen it and it was essentially just on his screen so just pixels rather than actual blood, it could still be possible for him to be "blue-blooded". *ba dum tss*

Tim's and Konnor first kiss
Context: This is just my headcanon where Tim did date Konnor, it didn't work out and then later when he fully realized he was bisexual and reconnected with Bernard he started dating him. Because why pick on ship when you can have both and write ship script fics about it? Plus I do secretly headcanon Tim as being the opposite of Jason and he's great at dating and flirting even when he's being a nerd. Tim is the third Robin and has been questioning his sexuaility, but finds himself attracted to both genders and he has though Konnor was foine! Issue is while Konnor has been out of the closet for a few years, Tim isn't sure the superhero would want to be with him. So he shoots his shot, will he get that kiss?
Red Robin yawned as Konnor Kent discussed the plan to sneak into LexCorp. Though he usually managed three to four hours of sleep, sometimes exhaustion crept in. Still, he wasn't complaining—he was next to Konnor. The boy's effervescent energy always kept him focused.
Konnor (eagerly): If we go here, here, and here, we can drop down there and take them out. That way, we get everything squared away.
Robin glanced over the blueprints Konnor had drawn himself and nodded.
Robin (genuine): Good plan.
Konnor (surprised): That's it?
Robin (casually): Yeah. Were you expecting me to say something else?
Konnor (confused): You usually pick apart other plans, and by the end of it, the whole thing is changed. You do a good job at that—don’t get me wrong—but there’s nothing you want to fix on mine?
Robin chuckled, resting his arm on the table.
Robin (light-hearted): For others, I would, but yours has a lot of thought put into it, and you know Lex's buildings better than I do. It's a solid plan.
Konnor (smiling softly): I mean, I’m not just some dumb guy who can fly and is super strong. I have layers. Some people misunderstand that about me. I can be really good at planning, too. Thanks, Robin.
Tim (smiling): No one else is around, dude. You can call me Tim.
Konnor (perking up): Seriously? Cool! I felt weird saying "Robin" at times. "Tim Drake" is a more badass name.
Tim (smiling, sweet tone): Konnor isn't bad either.
Konnor (curious): Really? I always hated my name.
Tim (shrugging): You have a good name, regardless of the connotations it has. And I agree, you're not dumb—there are many great things about you.
Konnor (raising an eyebrow with a knowing smile): Tim, are you coming on to me?
Tim sat back, resting his arms behind his head.
Tim (coy tone): Maybe I am, maybe I'm not.
Konnor: Hm, all right. If I said you're attractive to me and I've been wanting to kiss you for months since coming out, what would your response be?
Tim chuckled, sitting up straight and scooching his chair closer to Konnor.
Tim: I'd say I've been feeling the same about you.
Konnor pouted, tapping his fingers on the table, contemplating whether this was Tim being truthful. He could hear the man's heartbeat slightly speeding up, but he wasn't sure if it was infatuation or deception.
Konnor (slightly dejected tone): I'm not going to lie, I'm worried this is a dumb trick you're pulling on me.
Tim tilted his head, his tired eyes reflecting confusion.
Tim: Hm? Why would you think that?
Konnor: Because you're straight, right? You were with Stephanie. Heck, I've even met your girlfriend before you got involved with Steph, and I'd rather not be your 'experiment.'
Konnor glanced at his blueprints, trying to concentrate on the mission rather than dwelling on the painful possibilities of "what if." However, he couldn’t help but notice Tim's expression shift from coy to anxious.
Tim (worry in his tone): No, no, no, you're not an experiment or anything like that. I'm not sure what I like because my brain isn't saying I only like women, but I don’t only like men. I—
Tim sighed, covering his eyes in embarrassment. Konnor turned in his chair to face his friend and took his hand gently.
Tim (softly): I met up with this old friend from high school, and after saving him as Robin and being with him… I wanted him to kiss me. I wanted to be close to him like I was with a woman... but then he left. Then I noticed I felt that way for a while and when I see you, and I want that same thing. I still like women, but I… what am I?
Konnor chuckled, softly rubbing the top of Tim's hand.
Konnor (sympathetic tone): I went through something similar when I realized this when I came out. You might be bi, dear boy. Are… you okay?
Tim (sighing while keeping his head down): Yeah.
Konnor: Good, because you look like you've been holding that secret in for a long time. If I'm right, I don't want to assume anything. Sexuality is a weird spectrum, but I'm getting the feeling you aren't just straight or gay.
Tim (hesitantly): You're… right. It seems… It is... I mean... I am bisexual, I think.
Konnor smiled warmly.
Konnor: I'm here if you want to talk or… kiss. Both work.
Tim chuckled, taking his hand back to remove his eye mask.
Tim: I thought you didn't want that. I want to do that, but I don't want to make you uncomfortable; I really want to kiss you, but… I don’t know. God, I can't think of the right choice.
Konnor (softly): Since it's not a trick and you opened up to me, I feel more… reclined to let you have your first kiss with the perfect superhuman.
Tim smirked, trying to glare playfully at Konnor.
Tim: You know "inclined" is the right word, and that’s a bit of an ego trip… but no one else is here.
Konnor nodded, and Tim sighed, leaning in. Their lips met quickly at first, but Konnor pulled him back for a deeper kiss that left Tim stunned. His cheeks flushed a bright shade of crimson, his eyes widening in surprise as he momentarily froze. His arms stayed at his sides for a heartbeat, but as they parted for a breath, Tim kissed Konnor again, feeling the man's hand rest gently against his neck.
Tim placed his hand on Konnor’s hip, pulling him closer and taking in a shaky breath. As the initial shock wore off, warmth spread through him, instinctively leaning into the kiss and melting into the connection between them.
He kept kissing Konnor, feeling his heartbeat race as the seconds slipped by. Feeling Tim's steady breath against his lips sent tingles down Konnor's spine. He lightly gripped Tim's arm, drawing him closer, feeling the undeniable strength and warmth radiating off him. In that moment, nothing else mattered; the world around them faded into a blur.
Tim's lips were soft yet confident, as if he were exploring the depths of Konnor’s emotions with every lingering brush. Konnor tightened his fingers around Tim's arm, pulling him in even closer, as if trying to fuse their bodies together.
As they broke apart, Konnor's breath mingled with Tim's, both panting slightly from the rush of adrenaline. Tim looked at him with an expression that blended surprise and something deeper, almost tender.
Then Tim promptly fell forward, his eyes rolling back in his head. Konnor caught him, letting his friend rest on his chest to prevent him from sliding onto his lap.
Konnor (jokingly): Yeah, don't want anyone walking in if you landed on my legs. I didn't know my kiss was that powerful.
Tim (dazed): To be fair, you're the first man I've kissed.
Konnor (fist pumping): All right!
Tim sat up and sighed happily, then covered his eyes in embarrassment, shaking his head.
Tim: Does this get ea—s
Konnor (interrupting): I'm gonna stop you there. When I came out as bi, it felt like I left this confined space; it made sense. I felt free, but that's just the beginning. Dating is the difficult part, but we can talk about that after the mission. We can go to the KFC combination Taco Bell afterward.
Tim (laughing): Is that a date?
Konnor returned to reviewing his blueprints but kept a sly smile on his face as he glanced at Tim.
Konnor: It can be, but LexCorp first.
Tim nodded, feeling a sense of relief wash over him. The realization that he was bisexual felt surreal but in a good way. Konnor was right; it felt freeing. While he still had a lot to learn about himself, it felt good to have an answer.

Yeah, she was done dirty. She could have been such a great villain, a selfish manipulator only concerned with her own comfort, hiding behind a veneer of condescending kindness that hid a deep desire to have power over others (desire spurned by the awareness that no one likes her so she has to force people to like and respect her), a monster wearing the mask of a human even if it hurt her (clipping her claws, dousing herself in perfume to hide the stench of blood) because she resents her own cursed condition to the point of not even wanting to bite people but only to not feel "guilty" about it, eventually regretting the awful way she treated the only man who showed her kindness but too prideful and childish to apologize. The elements for a good character were all there, she's fun to think about!
Too bad she was conceptualized by a sexual abuser and it shows, from how her consistent physical, emotional, mental and sexual abuse of Hector in S3 is portrayed as masturbation fodder because haha hot girl puts a leash on a submissive peggable idiot, and in S4 she gets out on nowhere painted as a poow widdle girl who did nothing wrong 🥺 and the man she raped into slavery shows zero conflict about how this woman who pretends to be nice to him also broke his heart in the most visceral of ways.
You could have had a heartbreaking story about how Hector's constant abuse broke him, and the way he crawls back to a woman who only showed him the bare minimum of decency shows how he would do anything to feel that someone out there cares about him, even when it's not true. You could have had an intelligent, nuanced story about the intricacies of abuse and toxic relationships, how people can like you and care about you and want the best for you and still hurt you in irreparable ways, because their selfish desires and need for control is stronger than what you need to thrive. Instead, I got this:
Tumblr media
Yay, "it's not rape if you enjoyed it" turned into sassy banter! Just what I like from the characters I'm supposed to root for and empathize with :)
I'm sure the genuinely well-meaning, gentle Lenore who fell in real love with Hector that exists in fans' headcanons is a lovely character. I would love to meet her, I also have a Lenore in my head who is a very complex villain. But what I saw on screen from day one was a poor excuse of jerkbait with three different personalities and the source of appalling abuse apologism, because it's fine, she's hot, he deserved it for being stupid, she raped him for his own good, actually it wasn't even rape because when someone lies to another person for the express purpose of having sex which leads to being trapped in an unwanted relationship is just a little dirty trick, a small lie, no biggie, of course the person who was lied to will eventually understand and forgive and want to kiss the person who betrayed them!
Tumblr media
Pictured: a poor woman pressured by her peers who was very torn over having to resort to rape by deception to enslave the man she kept molesting for no practical reason other than her amusement. Sure, she could have just offered Hector the position of pet the moment she told him that Carmilla no longer had use for him, and he would have accepted because Hector's only objective in life is feeling cared for, but hey, why not truly humiliate him to feel more powerful? :)
anyway Lenore was never a good person. She had fun toying with the heart of a man for the sake of turning him into a tool to use to enslave people: she did little harm compared to Dracula, sure, but it's more personal, and motivated by even pettier reasons than "wife died", because everything about her screams "I want to feel in control and powerful". And much like Dracula, I would have been perfectly fine with her being a vile piece of shit (well, the writing in S3 still sucks because she's bullying a shell of a man and there's no meaningful conflict, but eh, I could go on a rant on how Hector was done dirty) were it not for the fact that the writing insisted that I should feel sorry for a whiny abusive ineffectual cowardly brat who only thinks about her own pleasure and can't even see the man she trapped as his own person, whose main source of angst is "besties don't like me and Carmilla's plan would be inconvenient to me and my feelings 🥺"
(I linked to too many posts here. I have sources for everything I said. Look at how much proof I collected that Lenore never loved Hector or saw him as a person! It's honestly impossible to read her from any other angle.)
So in short, she's cruel, she's petty, she's disgusting, she's incompetent (using her pussy to unnecessarily trick a man who is painted as so stupid he's on the verge of being called the R-slur doesn't speak highly of her manipulative skills), she's whiny, she's a hypocrite, she doesn't even do anything concrete in the plot (I love me some cringefail villains who still have some gravitas to them, like OG Isaac and Dahlia Hawthorne), she does like one (1) good thing and it didn't even matter, and her grand finale is ragequitting from life like a kid who lost too many times at a videogame, abandoning like he was a mere afterthought the man who cut his own finger to get rid of the slave ring she put on his hand and still chose her. peak. she's lucky that her design was artificially engineered to be as cute as possible, because that's deadass the only reason fans tear their hair to justify her and defend her.
S4 was bad and she was particularly pathetic there (seriously that ring was fucking pointless), but that didn't make her a good character in S3 either. So yes, she deserved to be written by someone who understands the gravity of abuse and doesn't think some people are so stupid that they deserve to be harmed.
Tumblr media
lenore is a very well-written character that is written very well
#anti netflixvania#i know no one will read the shitton of ways i have deconstructed this character#that's okay. my hatred will always be properly sourced and that's what matters <3#i am fully convinced that the lenore stans - not the ones who just find her evilness hot but the ones who say 'she did nothing wrong 🥺'#don't actually like lenore. they like the version of her that they hallucinated by completely misunderstanding what she was on about in s3#her concept is great guys! i agree! but it was developed beyond poorly and you can't headcanon your way out of painting her as well written#as i said in one of the posts i linked: subtext is great to analyze a character but not when it contradicts actual text#if you lenore fan hate how she was written in s4 - half of her screentime - but still think she meant well all along#what do you even like in her as she was presented? how cute she is? how hot she is? or your theories that were jossed in s4?#everytime i tried to read a lenector fan 'fixing' s4 it was always about poor lenore getting the happy ending she 'deserved'#and no thought ever went to hector and the pain he went through#who cares about his anger and humiliation? who cares about his character development? who cares about the messages about abuse?#they cute and they hot and hector is all in function to make lenore feel better#pwah. i hate this so much. i can't stop ranting#anyway i'll keep thinking of how to fix lenore while never forgetting how loathsome and pathetic she is in canon :)

I would never actually want Morro to make a return, because good lord let the boy rest I beg, but unironically I think the comedy potential of Morro as a ghost hanging around Euphrasia is insanely underused.
Imagine yourself as Euphrasia: an introverted, quiet kid, who just writes about destiny and listens to the big bosses on their high horses. Now enter Hot Topics most reliable customer since 2015 with daddy issues and a inferiority complex hovering over your shoulder.
Morro is the demon hissing for the souls of the innocent while Euphrasia just wants a bagel. Regularly blows over stacks of very important papers because he was bored. Will not shut the fuck up about how she should go fistfight the guy who sneered at her the other day. Sends in the mother of all hurricanes when someone looks even a little disappointed at Euphrasia. Gets increasingly more violent with the ways he could totally kill someone when she keeps ignoring him. I think anyone would snap and get at least a little more confident with their snark when they have to put down bullshit like that every day.
The downside to this is that Euphrasia has to, you know, deal with Morro. The upside is that she has the full ability to hit him with a "I think somethings, like, wrong with you" in a half-sarcastic half-nervously-genuine way, and it'd destroy Morro so bad he has to sulk in the Departed Realm for a week with his emo music. He might be helping Euphrasia's ego, but his own is getting yanked back down by the ankles, kicking and screaming, whether he likes it or not.

AHHHHHHHHHHH
Yeah, the two endlessly go back and forth about the advice White tries to give and Sentinel ignoring them because he's the King of Iacon. Why of all bots should he listen to someone who isn't even a bot? She ruled an empire once but gave it up for (what he believes to be) dumb reasons. Why bother?
Of course, White Diamond would feel out of place in Cybertron. The cultural and social practices are different. The language is completely foreign to her. She already struggles enough to relate to her own people, so trying to connect to sentient transforming car robots is practically impossible. Although the bots are kind and patient with White, she knows its only out of respect for their beloved leader. She feels very out of place and isolated even when she's by Sentinel's side, and he tries to make her feel more comfortable for the sake of her literally not being blue all the time. She has tried striking conversation with Airachnid, but she either doesn't acknowledge her or outright says she's under no obligation to speak with her. Airachnid straight up doesn't like White. This'll be elaborated upon in a future post.
For the rules thing, I imagine one of them is not interacting with the miners unless it's for an event or something. White suggests holding a party just for them to show their appreciation for their hard work, and Sentinel laughs. He doesn't see the point and jokingly remarks they'd drag dirt and grime everywhere and ruin all the beautifully polished banquet halls. White simply says they could wash the miners, and Sentinel says that wasn't his point. White argued that in the past, she did not see the point in celebrating the accomplishments of or showing appreciation towards the laboring gems because that was their job. What they were expected to do. They were not owed anything for doing the purpose they were literally made to perform. But she's learned that anyone, regardless of their social standing, deserves to be given their dues. If not, they'll feel unappreciated and then forget to appreciate themselves. White giving voice to the little gem strikes again! Sentinel looks at her like she said a Unicronic incantation and tells her that isn't happening. He doesn't like the idea that White would become more popular among the miners if she were to actively spend time with them. He also doesn't want her to witness or hear about how they're treated by the Transformers and upperclasses.
But yeah. Everything White suggests would go in one audial and out the other when it comes to Sentinel. He believes he knows what's best for Iacon compared to a literal alien, so he never takes her seriously and makes that very clear. White despises being ignored like this. Then she's has an epiphany. Was this was how she treated Pink? Of course, it was significantly more cruel and abusive, but progress is progress.
White making little crystal friends. Please. My heart. I remember how Steven brought a pebble to life with his own diamond essence/sweat in the episode Familiar. I wonder if that could work for White, maybe she accidentally created them out of loneliness. I'll have to do more research regarding that. Sentinel would hate them and view them as little pests. He can't release them either. That'd cause a stir. So he let's her keep them until she has to leave for one reason or another. He insists on her taking them all with her. White obliges, but she does miss a few which Sentinel tasks Airachnid to, uh, deal with them. Luckily, they're a lot more slippery than she thought, and White briefly returns to pick them up. Sentinel and his right servo femme pretend they didn't just try to shatter them 10 seconds ago.
Is a headcanon of a headcanon any less canon? Lmao good ending Prime Diamond is cursed to me cause niether of the goobers deserve it, in my humble opinion. But it is cute. Sentinel being the one to put his pride aside for the sake of maintaining the peace instead of White having to do that 24/7 (at least the best she can). He listens to her advice cause he's that curious to see how it'd pan out, mostly to prove her wrong if it doesn't. Then he realizes wait... listening to gf is??? Good??? Lo and behold, he begins to genuinely respect her. Imagining White and Sentinel growing to genuinely love each other and treat each other better despite their flaws... only to have it literally torn away from them. MUAH HA HA HA HA. Hilarious.
Anyway, White fighting the Quintessons hmmmm.... Idk how White would do in a fight cause she isn't a warrior. That's more Yellow Diamond's forte. Her weapon of choice is her words, but chances are the Quintessons aren't the most open to diplomacy unless its tons of energon neatly wrapped with a bow. I don't even know how her diamond powers could affect beings that aren't gems. It would be cool seeing her beat their asses though, and Sentinel definitely would not complain.
And Sentinel and White calling each other "My Prime" and "My Diamond" respectively... I'm using that. Thanks for the idea!
Back with more White Diamond x Sentinel Prime crackship nonsense baby!!!
Ever since I first thought about these goobers, I haven't known a single day of peace (mostly cause the ideas are just racking around in my brain)
So here's a list of headcanons I came up with for Prime Diamond! If you have any questions regarding this ship, my ask box is open. Double if you have any thoughts or anything to add, go on ahead! I hope y'all enjoy!
I may make a part 2 when I come up with more lol

For this relationship to even be possible (as possible as a crackship between two characters from completely different franchises can be), it will have to take place Post-Steven Universe Finale/Future when White Diamond is in her therapy, self-help guru era. And when Sentinel Prime is... alive.
Also, I have been trying to do research regarding this but since the results are so inconsistent, I'm gonna assume White Diamond is around 80 to 90 ft tall and Sentinel is around 60 (based on how he's double Orion Pax's height and apparently TF One Orion is around 33 ft tall). If you know their actual canonical heights or anything close to that, please lemme know!
As mentioned in a reblog, White Diamond would take an interest in Sentinel Prime as a sort of little DIY project. Though he tries to hide it, White with her supernatural intuitiveness can tell there's more to him than meets the eye (he's an asshole). Having been inspired by Steven to see the worth and beauty in imperfections, she wants to give someone like Sentinel a chance like Steven did for her. Though she is making genuine strides to improve upon her previous controlling and obsessive behavior regarding perfection, this aspect of her will resurface in her attempts "fix" Sentinel while in a relationship with him. She adores and finds much interest in his "positive imperfections," but helping him improve on his more negative ones wouldn't hurt, right?
Other reasons she developed an attraction to him is for the same reason all the Sentinel fangirls did: he's just so... pathetic. When he tries to impress her with stories of battles he's never fought in and gives her a tour of his treasure room full of artifacts he didn't discover, she can tell he's trying way too hard to impress her. She finds this cute and charming rather than douchey and desperate.
Sentinel Prime pursued her because, as stated in a previous reblog, "his diva ass was always going to try and seek out a gem fit for a king." He laid his eyes on an 80-90 ft giant alien rock woman and thought,"I need her." As any sane person would. She was supposed to be nothing more than another symbol of wealth for him to show off to the other elites and officials of Iacon City to further cement the royal image he works so hard to maintain. He definitely underestimated how overwhelming White Diamond can be, and I am not just referring to her height.
Sentinel would rather have his spark be extinguished than admit to this, but his stabilizing servos get wobbly at the idea of his alien girlfriend being so much taller than he is. His pride would never admit to this, nor would it accept someone taller than him accompanying him. He believes that as a "Prime," he is supposed to be much taller, bigger, and more imposing than those around them.
Whenever they make a public appearance, Sentinel insists that White shrink herself to a height more tolerable for his fragile ego. He bullshits an excuse about their buildings not being designed for a being as tall as she is. White obliges, but given how Iacon was built when the previous actual Primes were all gigantic and alive, she quickly figures his lie and confronts him about it. He'd just lie again and say he didn't want the other Cybertronians to be intimidated... by her beauty. Clearly, it's not because of some Napolean complex or something. Still, White in her patience era takes the compliment for what it is.
The "guy who doesn't like speeches" vs. "professional yapper" isn't a joke. Sentinel can't stand how much White Diamond loves to yap. She's the kind of person to have thoughts and opinions about anything and everything. Given that she doesn't breathe, she doesn't even need to catch her breath in the middle of speaking, so she can go on and on and on, much to Sentinel's annoyance.
He tries to get her to quiet down at times, but as White tends to do, she either doesn't hear him or straight up ignores him. Her monologuing, along with her height and just how shiny she is, is very overwhelming for Sentinel at times. The only good thing he finds about this aspect of his sweetspark is when she dotes on him and showers him with compliments and attention. As if a attention hungry fame whore needed any more of it.
Sentinel even allows White to indulge in her psychoanalysis, playing up the whole "tragic hero whose brothers and sisters perished in battle and now has to face the pain and weight of protecting his people alone" that she eats up. White does sometimes hit dangerously close to home, so Sentinel shuts her down before she could dig straight to bedrock and uncover the more unfavorable parts of himself he wants to stay hidden.
Speaking of staying hidden, the way White carries herself in public makes Sentinel was to keep her locked away in a jewelry box. White is excellent when it comes to using her words to inflict psychic damage or to build someone up. When it comes to social situations where charisma, relatability, and poise are needed, this is when White is at her most alien. She is not the most socially adjusted given that prior to the finale, she spent thousands of years hidden away in a world of her own delusions. She doesn't have much of a filter, something she has been working on to avoid upsetting offending others.
She has the habit of pointing out any interesting thing that catches her eye, especially about people, whether or not it's positive or negative. This has led to her unsettling the bots at best or offending them at worst. Sentinel then has to come in and use his charisma to difuse the situation and paint her behavior in a more positive light. Only for White to turn around and ask everyone if they ever noticed how Sentinel's wings move in accordance to his mood and how adorable it is. Everyone laughs. Sentinel is thoroughly pissed.
Sentinel definitely has more relationship experience than White Diamond. All of her knowledge comes from what she's heard from the gems that come to her for her advice or from that human show the little green Crystal Gem recommended (she can't remember her name). In her attempts to emulate the behavior of what she's heard of and observed, she ends up coming off as cringe at best or detached from reality. At certain points of the relationship, she even imposes certain "deadlines" on courtship behaviors she expects from Sentinel. All his previous relationships were private, casual flings. He only made this one public because bagging a bad bitch like White Diamond is an accomplishment he felt he had to show off.
This may come to bite him in the aft when her radiance catches the attention of other bots. On these occasions, he acts possessive and showers her with attention, gifts, and affection. He tells himself and Airachnid it's because he doesn't want her to outshine him in the eyes of the public. In reality, he gets jealous and doesn't want to lose her interest and, most importantly, her attention. As overwhelming and embarrassing as she can get, a twisted part of him really craves her attention.
In private, Sentinel can flip flop greatly in how he treats White. On some days he leans on her for support and wants her to pet his wings while he vents about all the dumb, annoying bots he has to fraternize with and all the boring meetings he has to attend. White occasionally interrupts him with advice or her own views on the situation, which frustrates Sentinel. On other days, he's completely detached, not even bothering to give her the time of day. He is at his most consistently sweet and romantic when they're both in the public eye, performing grand gestures of love. This intensifies when they're on camera.
They present themselves as THE Iacon couple, but Sentinel and White argue a lot about pretty much anything. More often than not, White is trying to advise him on how to improve himself and his city, and Sentinel kindly tells her to shut up and mind her own business.
They are both very prideful people who can't accept when they are wrong. White is more willing than Sentinel to admit to it and compromise. If she believes she is 100% in the right, she won't go down without a verbal fight. She has yet to figure out how to properly counter Sentinel's "NUH UH!" though. She believes this is normal and healthy as she hears time and time again how arguments are a sign of a functional relationship. White knows how in the past she never allowed anyone to express their grievances or criticize her. If they did, she'd twist their words to further force her own viewpoint or take control over their mind and body. Seeing Sentinel passionately argue back while White practices her listening skills and only sometimes speaks over him gives her hope that she isn't regressing back to her previous toxicity. No one has told her that disagreements are healthy and normal, but frequent fights and arguments are not. And the kind of hellish circles these two go in just ain't it
