I see a lot of the Patrick/Ivan fans are sad, angry, heartbroken, you name it. And I feel you- my fav Elite canon ship did not end up together either. Then I started thinking and realized: This show is really not in the business of happily ever after. Hardly anyone we see in a relationship at some point leaves the show with said relationship intact. Once I obsess over sth, I can't let it go, so below you find all Elite relationships and whether the people involved were still together the LAST TIME we see them on the show.
The list goes chronologically by season the relationship started. Only canon, only people who could charitably be described as having a semi-longterm thing (sorry, Val/Rebe, drunk attempted hook-ups don't count), leaving out the abusers. If I forgot anyone, lmk. For the purpose of this, I'm assuming that the s6 finale was the last time we've seen the Blanco siblings.
You'll see the track record is pretty dire 😅 Without further ado, I give you

In conclusion, we've all been personally victimized by Elite before [insert Mean Girls gif].

Non-Carmuel shippers have the worst takes when it comes to Carla and even Samuel; I remember people calling Samuel a class traitor because he helped the police get Rebeka's mom, while completely forgetting he only did it because they blackmailed him by using his brother. Or calling him a hypocrite by saying he helped Lu "get away with murder" while hating Polo. He hated Polo because he killed Marina and let Nano be arrested for it, meanwhile Lu came forward right away; it's not the same
exactlyyyyy like samuel is the most relatable person on that show point blank period, yes he’s made his mistakes just like every other character bc none of them are innocent but he’s always had a good reason? granted i didn’t watch anything after the carmuel shorts but still the reasons they hate him are for stuff done in seasons 1-3 anyway. like yeah what he did to rebe was wrong but again, he thought he was getting his family back. and rebe even forgave him for it in the end like 😭😭😭 AND like you said samu only hated polo bc of how he ruined literally everyone’s lives and then tried to go on like it was nothing, not just because he covered up a murder. he doesn’t hate carla for that he even understands why she did it - to protect her family. samu was completely valid for being angry seeing polo laughing and smiling at the end of s3 i would be too hello
like the story would be different if polo accidentally killed marina like he claims he did. he would be a way more sympathetic character if that was the case, but no, he picked up that trophy and he hit her and then tried to avoid accountability for it for three whole seasons. yet carla and samuel are the bad guys
also not the class traitor 😭😭 1) rebeka is rich she is not poor and 2) that man is so very stubbornly ANTI money the only time he used it recklessly was to buy a plane ticket that he wasn’t gonna use

FebruarOC - Sam
At least, we have made it to the (technically) main character of the 07 Nano Project! (For him being the main character I sure don't write about him a lot)
The original conceit of the story was an isekai in which sam somehow ends up in this other world and at the end has to go back home (I had done loose plotting for a like, afterword story, not a sequel strictly speaking but an extended epilogue?? that was a lot of Ky coping with him being gone and her place restored, and Beryl and Ren not really knowing how to handle that because of their own circumstances). I think I would eliminate the "he's from earth" aspect, but then I did really like his absence at the end of it. Maybe it will have to end with some kind of sacrifice? Hmm!
He was, at home, an incredibly normal boy. Which is just extremely isekai isn't it, now that i think about it??? I wrote them all really young, I don't remember why -- i think I wanted to be able to lean into the horror for younger audiences so of the main cast, Sam was the youngest (14); he was technically in middle school still (8th grade) because he ended up repeating a year after his dad died (he got sick and it was terminal) and Sam would say that was the most interesting thing about him. He also liked to play soccer!
Then on his way home from school one day, after he had been seeing a strange bright orange butterfly that no one else could apparently see, he got waylaid by a woman in a fox mask who called him "Deacon" and stuck a demon mask on him. And boy howdy, that wasn't fun! The mask did start taking his memories and adding in new ones of the spirit of the mask, but Ky and her crew showed up and saved him, but left the mask behind.
Even without the mask in hand, he could still feel the influence of this other mind in his warring for control -- and the problem with it being left behind was that the guy who made the mask could then like, use it to trigger episodes in Sam. He still mostly had control of himself and had the added bonus of some Deacon Abilities (like to sense where other Grave Robbers were), but every so often he did lose control.
Now, what does it mean to be the Deacon??? Oh, fuck if i know. It was just like the most powerful of the Grave Robbers? He was the last one, I think there were 10 total, though they had to replace one after Beryl's mask got destroyed. (well they just made a new Raven ask). But yeah I never did really figure out what it all meant. I never figured out the entire arc of the story, which was why I didn't get very far when writing it!
On a rewrite, I'd figure out a way to remove it from the "isekai" setting. It would be easy because I just need to make him from the "city dwellers" -- all the other Grave Robbers to that point had been from the Hill Folk. Oh god I gotta do world building??? (jk, I really gotta do world building) but that means for most of the story, you only see the city from an outsider's perspective; even Beryl's is skewed when she's Raven, because she's not... natural? I guess? She's a creation of the mask, not someone born there.
I also really need to figure out what it is about the Grave Robbers. Like what their abilities are, what they are for, what Cantur wants and how Sam works into that/against that.
Also, his full name is Samuel, but he goes by Sam because it's just, easy and less noticeable. Except for when he wound up in the Hill Folk camp, Niko would just.... call him a billion different names all that started with "Sam". Samuella, Samson, Samsung, Samantha, Samtina, Samash. Why? I don't know. I thought it would be funny, but he did it in such rapid succession that it sort of lost the punch line. Gotta spread it out.
((Drabble to come later!))

Just got done watching elite season 1 and I'm glad the killer wasn't that obvious.
I felt sorry for Marina in the beginning but honestly idc....she really was the cause of a lot of crap and just kept it pushing without even thinking of twice of the consequences all bc of what?!? To be edgy and rebellious. I was so pissed when she just flat out ratted out Omar and even had the audacity to say whose sibling he was. She could have just made up a name and didn't need to spare more details. Like sorry not everyone has it good like you. I can't understand why she entertained Samuel when she didn't like him really at all. Told multiple times not to involve herself and didn't listen! She is responsible for her death not nano!! Then snitching everything about her pregnancy like wtf. Forgot, she even basically snitches she has the watch to Carla lol.
Nadia is so pretty bro.. but there was times she rubbed me off the wrong way. I know it has a lot to do with how they view things but having HIV isn't some criminal case. She was a hypocrite at times bc she wasn't all that accepting herself. I'm glad that she started standing up and being more vocal to her father. And the brother sister bond that formed. I'm still 50/50 with her relationship with Guzman but it's just tempting...they are low key cute. I honestly wouldnt have been shocked at her being the culprit bc all that beefing with Lu just for Marina to win it all lol.
Please protect omar. I just adored his thing with Ander. I hate his situation so much and it's heartbreaking honestly. I hope he can eventually be himself without fear of his parents.
Ander!! So glad he stood up to his dad. Just wish he really understood how he has it compared to Omar and be more cautious with his advances. I like how his mom reacted.
Guzman...bro plz stop being a dick. It's like I like you but then you start with that ugly talk about the new kids and the snob comes out. Control your temper!! I hate that he is gonna rekindle with Lu but I get it ..he has to keep his word with Nadia's father.
Christian it's not worth it!! Tell the truth!! Carla and polo are some weirdos. I hope they get what's coming to them. I love his humor so much and him spitting facts to those two.
Nano wasn't the best brother and he brought trouble but I'm sorry I can't hate him. It wasn't all his fault and he did care for Samuel despite the whole marina thing. Had she not entertained him, he wouldn't have stole the watches and the shady ass person wouldnt have been sent to their house along with Guzman confronting them. Bc it wasn't even the thugs from the beginning(from his own personal shit) still harassing them in the end so therefore sorry I'm not gonna cheer for him being accused. I feel people are harsh on his character than what they should be on others.
Omg I can't stand Samuels weird ass. Claims to not care about who the father is but yet wants to land a punch at his brother at the worst of time. Like get it together man and settle your crap later with him. Couldn't keep a secret for shit and even got a teacher fired who was btw trying to do right by not partaking in shady shit anymore. I honestly think he had more a hand in marinas death than what people say about nano. Snitching in front of polo about marinas where about to Guzman just was the final nail in the coffin. Getting nano locked up and then not even sticking to it to just want to clear his brothers name five seconds later lol. Should have loved himself and gotten away from that girl.

Updates: 4 popular TV shows including Elite and more!
Tumblr media
Murder, thriller, intrigue, and the machinations of the macbre maintain a whole lot of what movie-goers locate maximum wonderful and exciting approximately storytelling. Found withinside the concept of not-knowing, the classic "Who’s doing it?" gives something withinside the basis of its concept that different genres do not: A lively position for every viewer as a guest-detective. The best murder mysteries/whodunits just do that, they carry the audience into the story. Taking them on a ride, introducing characters, obstacles, and setting, to deliver the poignant punch of mystery. This mystery is what captivates each movie-goer and puts them on a chase and a race to the end line. As viewers are tantalized by the mystery and galvanized in their participant-watcher role of each attempting to inside make out "who did it". Whereas looking at the plot unfold toward the last word revelation that either confirms their suspicions Or provides them the excellent "GOTCHA!" moment. Over the years, there were numerous films that have finished this extremely well. Here is a four of those that were ranked. Wednesday Season: 01 Starring: Jenna Ortega, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Riki Lindhome, Jamie McShane, Hunter Doohan Wednesday, the new Tim Burton show that’s a reimagining of the Addams Family, is Netflix’s newest explosive hit. The show structure itself, making an attempt to resolve a decade's recent mystery plain-woven into a current string of murders, isn’t great. Weekday, pretty much as good a personality as she is. It is terrible at finding mysteries, inform her finger at incorrect suspects a dozen times till the end minute of the season. The ultimate clarification was kind of straightforward to check to return with therefore pretty clear clues and a few pretty obvious red herrings to see through. Fortunately, Wednesday she is so good, you’d watch Ortega extremely do something within the role. Recently, it has been renewed for a second season on Netflix. The Woman in the House Across the Street from the Girl in the Window Season: 01 Starring: Kristen Bell, Michael Ealy, Mary Holland, Shelley Hennig, Cameron Britton, Christina Anthony This one was one of those it keeps you on the edge of your seat the entire time. Kirsten Bells acting in this show is absolutely phenomenal, she is not only playing a woman whose daughter died in the most horrific way but she has this fear of the rain and anytime it starts raining which I found so interesting. Kirsten Bell knocked this show out of the park. This limited series keeps you on the edge of your seat the entire time and keeps you guessing and even when you think you know what's happening you don't. The way they created the world and set it up is incredible. Definitely worth the watch! Elite Season: 05 Starring: Arón Piper, Miguel Bernardeau, Ester Expósito, Claudia Salas, and Georgina Amorós another series that proves how nicely teen dramas can mesh with the homicide thriller style is Netflix's Spanish drama Elite. The collection opens with three pals from modest backgrounds receiving scholarships to Las Encinas, the maximum elite boarding college in Spain after their former college collapsed. While the 3 switch college students are at once bullied via way of means of their rich classmates, the display paradoxically begins to return back to lifestyles after the homicide of Marina, a scholar at Las Encinas who turned into a love triangle with Samuel and Nano earlier than her death, and the mysterious situations of her death. Riverdale Season: 06 Starring: K.J. Apa, Lili Reinhart, Camila Mendes, Cole Sprouse, Madelaine Petsch Despite receiving lots of hate over the years. Riverdale's first season effortlessly combined the epic highs and lows of high school football with the redoubtable mystery of who killed the Mythical being Blossom. As a show that has become ill-famed for incessantly trying to leap the shark. Riverdale has taken plenty of risks throughout its six seasons. One twist that began to vary however viewers thought of the show was the reveal of Betty Cooper's father being the bloody Black Hood, the most antagonist of Season 2. While Riverdale is by no means the simplest mystery series out there. It undeniably had poor boundaries and was unafraid to introduce components that had no logical place within the show. And that unbroken fans on their toes Read the full article

Élite Season 5 Review
‘cause why not? obviously contains spoilers.
so i wasn’t planning on watching this season after the mess that was season 4
EVERYONE currently in this show is so fucking annoying.
even samu. and that man had some great character development in the past
except for rebe. my beloved
cayetana baby i thought we were over spending our time with shitty men babe???
anyway. onto the new ones. and old new ones.
old new ones;
patrick - still don’t like him
mencia - yoooo i thought this chick was annoying last season (n everyone thought she was a baddie? like no baby) but to me she was even more unlikeable now!
ari - miss girl i liked you during the first 3 episodes why tf are you cheating on samu ???
benjamin - this is the worst fucking character in the show. this man is the equivalent of arturo from la casa de papel for me. jesus christ someone summon polo from the dead or lu from new york so either of them can rip that man’s head off
philippe - ugh i hate him but glad he at least had the decency to stand up for isadora after the events in ibiza
new new ones;
isadora - annoying as shit for the first five episodes! tho i gotta admit i like how they portrayed her struggle with addiction. hated what happened to her later on :((
portugese man whose name i could not bother remembering - thoroughly dislike him! screwing a taken girl? u ain’t cute! (and his actor, a white man, has repeatedly said the n-word on camera! so that’s a no from me)
black guy whose name i also don’t remember - don’t like him. bro what even was the point this man appeared for 2 scenes lmaooo
onto basic things;
i want the old inspector back?? but i bet that lady was just done w all this las encinas bullshit lmao
i have disliked omar since like season 2 or something and this man just keeps digging his own damn grave…
this season was so boring ugh
why do they keep making things bigger and grander? parties, origins of the characters? not a vibe
at first it was just about the kids of lawyers, diplomats, marchionesses, et cetera
now everyone is a prince? or super famous? or owner of ‘several businesses and half of ibiza’ at fucking seventeen or whatever age these kids are?
obviously this isn’t the number one show to pick based on realism but it’s so over the top that it just icks me
the amount of inappropriate age gap relationships the past two seasons has only gone up and i certainly do not approve. yikes
sex scenes lack everything a good sex scene should have! it’s just awkward to watch at this point
THE ENDING???
i know that samuel is one of the least liked characters of the show but i actually really like him (ever since s2 came out)… so seeing him end up dead (it’s not confirmed but i highly doubt he’s alive) hit harder than i expected. after all the shit he’s been through, he ended up being another victim. i know they had to write him off somehow because itzan is not returning for season 6 but man… i’d truly hoped for his happy ending. fuck.
i’m sorry but none of the characters that were introduced to us after season 2 seem to have any kind of depth. that is, unless you count daddy issues! (i have those too babe. you’re not special.)
season 1 to 3 were so much better. a popular opinion, as i’m aware, but fucking hell does it need to be said. it feels like an entirely different show now.
i miss truly interesting characters. polo, carla, lu, guzman, nadia. hell, even marina and nano. christian. i miss them.
the storyline was better, the murder mystery was better, it was all connected and so captivating and well written.
the costumes were better and more fitting (they become more and more ridiculous with each season). soundtrack used to be much better. I MISS IT DUDE.
even the acting/casting has gone downhill. none of the new actors speak to me in any way whatsoever, definitely not like the old cast did.
netflix should’ve ended it with season 3. everything came to a close with everything surrounding marina’s death being revealed, carla confessing and polo dying, just after guzman forgave him. it could’ve been a perfect ending.
anyways, i’m gonna rewatch season 1 and 2 because they’re still as fun for me to watch as the first time i watched them.
not sure whether i’ll be watching the upcoming season. but you’ll hear from me then ;)

this year's NaNo now has a proper synopsis and new excerpt up on the site!! here it is:
When the sky opens up above him and a spacecraft carries him off, Jean-Paul thinks at first he's been abducted by aliens, but the truth is, if anything, worse; his captors are humans from another world, and they mean to work him to death. To his amazement, he's rescued from his impending fate - but being rescued is only the beginning, and now he's lost in a bewildering new world of infinite dimensions, alien creatures, real, honest to god magic, and an interdimensional war on the brink of hotting up. Before he was taken, all he wanted was to get out of his home town; now all he wants is to go home. But the multiverse is a strange place, and it could be that his home isn't where he belongs...
excerpt:
He looked at the mirror – and as he did so Paul felt a shifting in the air. His skin prickled, the hairs on the back of his neck standing on end. He rubbed it absently. A second later, there was a flare of light in the mirror. For a moment there were only lights dancing – shapes, like clouds – and then the image resolved – and all his breath left him. It was crystal clear – clearer than any television. It was Marsbeck. A view out over the promenade – the sea lapping against the wall. He could see the chippie where he worked. He could almost taste the salt in the air. “Oh my god,” he said aloud, unable to stop himself. Samuel turned to look at him and catching himself he said, “sorry – I’m sorry –” “Are you alright?” said Samuel. Tears were welling in his eyes. “Yeah, it’s,” he said, and swallowed. He couldn’t find the words for it. He hadn’t thought he’d ever see his home again – and now there it was, right in front of him, so close he could almost reach out and touch it, and – Samuel looked back at the mirror. “Is this where you’re from?” he said. Paul nodded. “Yeah,” he said. “That’s it.” “How long has it been?” said Samuel. “About three weeks?” Paul nodded. “I’ll try and find you,” said Samuel. The image shifted, waving behind the glass; and then with a twitch it was gone, and the shifting lights in the mirror were like a punch in the gut. He sucked in a breath. It was on the tip of his tongue to beg Samuel to bring it back. But then the mirror darkened. He saw light moving in it – the orange-red of a sunset. It was the beach, he saw, and there – there they were. He was looking himself, from somewhere behind. Himself, and Sam sitting beside him. They were talking, laughing, at ease. No sound carried through the mirror but he could remember what she was saying. He thought he could remember every word of their conversation that night, until it had happened – and then it happened. The figures in the mirror jolted, startled by a sound like thunder, a sound he heard now and then in his dreams. The sky warped, splitting open – and there it was, black and glistening, the ship. The him on the beach was getting up. He didn’t remember getting up – didn’t remember anything after seeing the ship. Sam was still on the ground. He held his breath. But then the image dissolved into confusion. He saw the ship – saw himself, mouth open in a scream, hands clutching at him, dragging him away towards the ship’s yawning doorway. He couldn’t see Sam. He saw the sea, the sunset reflecting in it like blood. He saw the sand, churned up by the ship’s feet. “Where is she?” he said, voice shaking. “Where’s –” Samuel hissed. His hand still on the mirror he rubbed at his forehead, eyes screwing shut. “Are you okay?” said Paul. The image in the mirror was flickering, unrecognisable. “I’m fine,” said Samuel. His hand was pressing hard against the mirror, his knuckles white. “I just – just a moment.” “We don’t have to,” said Paul. “If it hurts –” “I’m fine,” said Samuel. “I’ll be fine.” Forcing his eyes open he looked back at the mirror. Paul felt it again, that prickling in the air as Samuel focused his magic. The image twisting, as if resisting him, and then again it stabilised. It was almost entirely dark. For a moment he couldn’t make anything out – but then he saw a glimmer of moonlight, on the sand. It was the dunes behind the beach. He could see grass rustling in the night breeze. And there – there was Sam, running up the dune. She lost her footing and falling onto her hands and knees began to crawl, frantic, clawing at the loose sand with her hands in her determination to reach the top. She slithered down the other side – and then pelted on across the firmer sand, out of sight. The image turned. Samuel breathed out, a sharp, harsh breath, loud in the quiet of the scrying room. He took his hand off the mirror and wiped his thumb across his nose. It came away with a scarlet drop of blood on it. “Ouch,” he said. “Did she make it?” Paul blurted out.

TV | Élite: Historias Breves (2021)
Over the course of the week leading up to the release of the show's fourth season on 18 June 2021, Netflix released four instalments of 3-episode Élite short stories, filling in some of the time gap between the last and the upcoming season.
Non-spoiler-free thoughts on the different stories under the cut.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
GUZMÁN, CAYE, REBE
I think out of the four shorts, I liked this one best. Probably because it was the most fun with the least amount of (relationship) drama. I also really enjoyed this combination of characters, because if memory serves, they did not generally hang out with each other much. Guzmán had Ander and Polo as well as Lu and later Nadia. Rebe was usually more around Samuel than anyone else. And Cayetana was, of course, with Polo.
Actually, I think this short is where I liked Caye best so far. Her character always annoyed me during the regular episodes and I've never really taken a liking to her, but she was good fun in these three short episodes. I've always liked Rebe, and Guzmán, while not a favourite, I always quite enjoyed watching. The three of them together did make for a great dynamic, I feel.
I really enjoyed them all completely high, each in their own little worlds, and then of course having to deal with the coke situation in that state. So many fantastic comedic beats in this episode. Caye's final acting bit was absolutely brilliant. The girl's a very talented grifter, I have to admit. Although playing on fear is, of course, one of the easier ways. And damn, those coke dealers definitely did not know how to deal with any of this. Two dead kids, coke everywhere, and a blood-covered hysterical girl screaming for her mom? Yeah, I probably would've bounced too at the sight of that, if I were them.
Yeah, I really like this one. I am very curious to see how the events here get picked up on in the upcoming season.
NADIA, GUZMÁN
I liked very much that this was the second short, that we get that tidbit of Guzmán being worried about the relationship in the first short, and then we get to see them in the second.
This short, overall, was very them. Lovely moments, a lot of misunderstandings and miscommunication, but also quite fun. Guzmán and Nadia have a very intriguing relationship, I think. Their story has always been quite fascinating to me. They are from such different worlds and want such different things, but ultimately, they also really do care for each other and want this to work out.
I thought it was interesting that Nadia is the one to break their promise and goes to see Guzmán. I thought it would be the opposite, and he would show up randomly at her sister's wedding. Which, speaking of, I was not entirely sure I liked much. It felt so random, in a way. Unless I am mistaken -- which is possible as I haven't seen any of the previous seasons in a while now -- we have never heard about a third Shanaa sibling before, right? So this sudden appearance of a sister and the fact that she was getting married, felt very random and, well, sudden to me. But I guess we'll see how it shakes out over the whole of the season.
Overall, I did quite like this short, too. Guzmán trying his best to give Nadia an average date (loved that the blanket was a stained tablecloth. A+ for effort, Guzmán) was absolutely hilarious. And I really loved the phone call toward the end. They're a mess in person, but on the phone they are great. That was a very lovely moment.
OMAR, ANDER, ALEXIS
This one's quite depressing, huh. However, I did very much like that this picks up the mention of Omar and Ander from the first short and tells us what exactly happened.
Alexis is a very interesting character, and I think it gives Ander so much more depth, that we see him care about Alexis so much. I've always really liked Ander, and I thought he was great in this short (Aaron Piper is also just an excellent actor, let's be real).
Of course, we always get our comedic beats, and this, too, had some amazing ones. But largely, this one was a heavy one. Alexis' conversation with Ander in the pool and, especially, the final moment between the two at the hospital carried a lot of weight.
I do wonder how much we'll be seeing of Ander dealing with Alexis' departure during the fourth season, how he handles that goodbye and the knowledge that within two or three months, Alexis will have died.
I quite liked the conversation Omar had with Alexis, about how he behaved while Ander was sick, and how he understands what he is going through now, trying his best to help Alexis, make him happy. I think that will make for a certain solidity in his and Ander's relationship, and how Omar can help him deal with Alexis' departure and certain death.
CARLA, SAMUEL
The woman at the airport may have said that this isn't a Julia Roberts movie, but it very much felt like one. Samu showing up at the airport to stop Carla from leaving (well, not Julia Roberts, but my brain immediately went to LOVE, ACTUALLY), the whole "promise me when I come back you won't be here" bit, the sudden yet inevitable delayed flight, and of course also how the short ends with Carla leaving after all. Big Julia Roberts romcom energy right there.
Samu and Carla were never my favourites, to be honest. I liked Samu especially in scenes with Nano, and then later with Rebe, but I never really cared for his relationship dramas. While I did like Carla especially with Polo during their time with Valerio, I also did not much care for her.
Nevertheless, this short was quite lovely. Although I have to say the airport bit and Carla leaving were probably the parts I enjoyed the most. Samu's meltdown when he thinks Carla has left was also quite good. I do tremendously enjoy the acting in this show. And the language. Spanish is very sexy, even if I don't understand most of it and have to watch it with subtitles.
I wonder if this will be the end of this particular relationship and we get to see both of them move on in the next season, and this short therefore serves to put an actual end to it, or if we will see them together again at some point.

Nadia = Missed Opportunity
Beginning of S1 Nadia was everything! She took no shit from anybody, she protected her friends and became manipulative when she needed to. I remember thinking she was going to play a major part in the plot because of attitude and not being intimidated by the elite kids. Then they had her develop feelings for Gooseman and throw all of her morals and constraints that made her character in the name of character development in s2...lol what This post is basically a rant about the blackmailing queen that lasted only a couple of episodes in S1 to the forgiving, almost weak character that she is now. Don’t worry I wont delve too much on her cliche romances, which were wayyyyy to predictable when looking back.
How does Nadia go from looking down on Gooseman’s family for their coke habit to then nearly snorting a line of coke for crusty gooseman?? make it make sense...The alcohol I can believe because of peer pressure and doing rebel teenage things for the first time but COKE nah ooc asf! Then she hooks up with gooseman in the school lockeroom as if the plot of her blackmailing Lu and gooseman for their hookup in school didn’t exist. So embarrassing to see her make these silly mistakes because it was never something her s1 arc would even do.
She’s established as some devout  reassured muslim girl in s1 that doesn’t fall to the peer pressure of her age group and out of all the characters the most stern and reasonable, so it was really jarring seeing her doing all these new things as if she didn’t have any self awareness. The first time she kissed and slept with gooseman was when she was drunk so it made it seem as if she wasn’t her self?? Is that a metaphor or something?? She only goes wild when she’s drunk so she doesn’t feel guilty?? It’s weird too because as a character that is raised in a strict religious immigrant family you would think they would have Nadia contemplating her actions or choices because of her up bringing but thats rarely brought up. And at some point it would’ve made sense for Nadia to move on to new and better things because honestly..Nadia didn’t need to be stringing along a depressed, mourning, angry gooseman. She knows damn well that she wouldn’t be available so let that relationship go...and if gooseman is such a great person, he wouldn’t need the girl that he once mocked to “save” him, and if Nadia really cared for him she should’ve let him go to get help. Woman don’t need to be saviours for toxic men. But I get it your favourite hetrocliche ships can’t end half way through the season welpp!
I would’ve preferred her arc in s2 to be about peer pressure then her randomly doing things that looked ooc. She knew herself in the beginning, so by s2 she was lost because of...pleasing her parents or gooseman. Nadia was no longer the stern girl we thought she was. The prejudice she faces at school is no longer a factor for her anymore because her character never commits to fighting for her rights, her biggest problem is her romance. The xenophobia she still faces by the school and Lu is swept under the rug. Gooseman doesn’t even defend Nadia when Lu resorts to racial slurs but in a way it makes sense...would it really take a poor brown girl to change racist, classist ideals that one believes in? Probably not!  Seeing Nadia judge and questions some of the things kids in her school did THEN participate in them because it was tempting would’ve made more sense imo. And can we get to the times where characters are NOT defined by their romantic relationships! I also didn’t appreciate that Nadia and Omar were written around their love interest and barely had screen time to interact and speak with each other to discuss the growing teenage pains that they both faced. Omar smoked, drank, had sex, and by then was an open gay muslim, so it would’ve been interesting seeing Nadia and Omar discuss their problems, school life and future goals. Nadia’s education is a big part of her arc in s1, so it was great to see it brought back in s3 but unfortunately Omar’s future goals are never discussed because he’s used as Ander’s emotional support UGHHHH And why doesn’t Nadia have any friends from her old school or neighbourhood??? Omar and Samuel are besties, Christian and Nano were besties, where’s her friends??
As for the hijab thing...well the writers made Nadia to be pretty passive and thats evident when she never makes ANOTHER point to the school about the double standards concerning her hijab and Lu, Rebe, Valerio etc, sometimes shitty and blinged out attire. (But can you imagine the outroar if Nadia was in her hijab dryhumping a naked gooseman with a sextape arc for her character LMFAO Did the writers removed her hijab so she couldn’t fully be the Mia Khalifa pornstar they wanted #DEAD) As for her wearing the hijab or not it’s not really a big deal because she wore it when she pleased but I found it interesting that she never wore it to the club...Omar was shocked and exaggerate to Nadia and Malick that Nadia would wear it to the shower and Nadia and Malick’s reasoning was that they want to break free (I guess from being perfect muslims) ...back to my peer pressure point, maybe she just didn’t feel comfortable and didn’t want attention being looked at as being the only hijabi in the club.
Concluding, Nadia was never given the justice to CALL OUT the racism and prejudice she faced by Lu, Christian, Guzman. In stead she was used as the poc muslim girl to develop Guzman and Lu and excuse them from their classism and xenophobia because they took a chance in Nadia. How can the judgemental, holding 1000 grudges girl that we met in s1 become friends with LUCRECIA!!! That bitch hated her...make it make sense??? I don’t even see Lu being friends with another poc muslim, Omar was enough to her. I also didn’t appreciate that Lu was the one that drove Nadia to stand up for her education to her parents SMH like Lu would even care...she never apologised to Nadia for anything. Nadia needed her self to stand up to her parents, she did that in s1 when she persuaded them to study in Las Encinas for opportunities so it would've made perfect sense for her to do the same thing. Things that bad writing can do smh
To simplify I wasn’t feeling the all forgiving, naive Nadia :( She let Gooseman, Lu and even her brother who hooked up with her boyfriend off wayyyy to easy, I just feel like she’s progressed into this weak forgiving girl to make other characters not face consequences for the way they treated her. IDK the vindictive Nadia in the first episode of s1 was so much more interesting and if she was used in the plot like Carla was her character would’ve been more grey then the judgemental, then forgiving stick they put on her.
As for Nadia’s future...I hope to see her come back with a rich hottie from the prestigious university she goes to now! LOL

Elite Spoilers ahead after binge watching season 3 (lots of thoughts)
Tumblr media
So... Finished it with some skipping of certain plots I couldn't care much.
At the end, it was OK. Season 3 ended up being a bit better, wrapping everything up, tying loose ends and giving closure. Some characters I learned to love, others went downhill and some were just indifferent to me, so let's see...
Marina: I didn't really like her character so... She was merely a plot device for me. She was selfish, indecisive and a rebel without a cause. She fulfilled her purpose in season 1.
Nano: Loved the acting but the role is a bit Meh... The whole romance was underdeveloped really... How it goes from using Marina to love ever after with a child doesn't make much sense.
Ander: Loved him. Beginning to end. He shouldn't have kept Polo's secret but his heart was in the right place. He was a good friend and the trio with Guzman, Polo and him was very sweet. His relationship with Omar seemed doomed and I gotta say after the whole Malik thing I wanted him to kick Omar to the curb. Good acting by Aron Piper, especially how he handled the cancer plot.
Omar: the character started in a interesting and appealing way,but it went downhill. I don't hate him but I also dont like him much after repeatedly cheating on Ander and not having the guts to tell him. I get the part where he is enjoying his freedom and experimenting (it makes sense after living in a repressed environment) and I enjoyed seeing that evolution. But the cheating was unnecessary (I get happening once when he is confused and needy but not the repetition and even considering leaving to NY with Malik). Also to deny Ander when he confesses to having made up the affair was ridiculous given his skeleton in the closet and the reason why Ander did it. Sadly this character went downhill for me and even the end didn't save him.
Lucrecia: Rich mean girl. In her style it made sense and her character was interesting. The whole half brother relationship was a bit of a skip for me, even if it lead to her being disowned and that made her more emphatic and even likable. Her tentative friendship with Nadia made me very happy. I never got how she and Omar got along so well though, but it was great to see it actually. So I learned to like her a bit.
Guzman: 5 stars. Right there next to Ander (maybe even a bit above I can't decide) as my favorite characters. His mean boy routine didn't last. He had a good heart and in the end he was always a good friend. His love for his sister was beautiful and he adored his childhood friends. It was beautiful how at the end and despite everything he was still there for Ander and even Polo. I loved his relationship with Nadia and all the mishaps were both their faults,so it was OK.
Nadia: her character was a good one and she made a great pair with Guzman. The actress is gorgeous, gorgeous, but I don't have much to say about her.
Samuel: he was OK I guess. Sorry to say but his character also didn't leave much of an impression on me. I was sad to see how it went down with Marina and Nano. The relationship with Carla was weird and then with Rebeka. The whole drug trafficking (from his side) was also a plot device I didn't care much.
Cayetana: I'm indifferent to her character and the love triangle.
Rebeka: she was OK I guess. Too over the top as a character but I guess that is what they were going for.
Valerio: I liked the acting and the craziness of the character but the whole sibling relationship was weird for me (even if he made it interesting and gave it depth). The acting saved this character.
Carla: interesting character. Can't decide if I like her or not. She was OK at times and a bitch other times. Interesting dynamics with her dad and I was happy she managed to get away from that in the end.
Christian: honorable mention... He was a fun character in s1. He cheated on his friends too fast though...
Polo: poor lost boy. He was confused, easily manipulated and desperate for approval. His friendship with the boys was great. I can't hate him. He was just a boy who screwed up big time (and it was Carla who made him hide the fact he was the killer). He paid for it...
So the things I really enjoyed were the boys friendship (ander/guzman/polo), Guzman evolution, Guzman/Nadia romance and Ander.
I wish they had handled some plots better, especially Omar/Ander.
We will see season 4 but I know already that Omar/Ander is gonna get even worse (with a 3some cause the writers are obsessed with that and Omar at school) and some of the main characters are gone, including Polo (obviously), Nadia and Lu. Looking forward to Guzman (hope they don't give him a love interest and let him and Nadia be happy even if long distance) and Ander.

Guzmán absolutely was supposed to the the Ted on Elite so wtf happened like seriously... as soon as they sunk his robin, he went all sucky and murdery....
honestly I don't think I'm knowledgeable enough to give a real explanation (s/o to candyumbrella I know she would have been able to explain it well) but I've been thinking about it and I recently read this tweet which makes me think it might be a lot simpler than I originally thought. But I’d love to hear what everyone’s theories are on the sitch
The tweet basically said that murder mysteries only work until the original plot is finished, that elite started with marina’s death and should have ended with polo’s death (her murderer). And I think they’re right that the original cast should have all left together at the end of s3, that way the audience would have been sad but would have just had to suck it up and the people who were really interested would have still watched s4 and the new characters would have been given an actual chance versus the constant comparisons they get right now.
Anyways I’m thinking that’s Guzman's "hold" over the show, as a (weak)Ted, is based on the original cast and since Polo died, Nadia his robin was leaving, Marina's been dead for a year now, most of the original cast had left, his power had been severely diminished by the time s4 comes around. He was already a weak Ted from the start, to the point that in s1 I was questioning whether Nano might be/become the Ted with the way he was embarrassing him lol. But by s3, it really felt like he was losing a lot of his Ted energy, possibly from the combination of already being a weak Ted and the fact that it was the last season for a lot of the cast and they wanted to wrap all of their storylines up. Which btw is why Lu got the storyline she did in s3 because if he was still a strong Ted there was no way in hell she would have been able to reject him like she did lmao.
Ultimately I think the writers knew that since Miguel wasn't going to continue past s4, and that elite is popular and is gunna be around for more seasons, that they naturally needed a new Ted - who I'm thinking might be the s5 blonde guy who got called Miguel's mentee lol. The most interesting part to me is why they turned on him the way they did in s4 and I really think it's because they had a new cast and they write and film two seasons at once. So I'm guessing that as they were writing or brainstorming for s4 and 5 together, they were already not that convinced with Ted!Guzman (the tide was already turning), and they were writing s5 possible new Ted at the same time, so Guzman ended up reverting back to season 1 Guzman (the first half at that!) because the writers I guess  just lost interest in him. I think that’s also why the short story ended up like it did, a very transitional moment for Guzman where he still retains some Ted features but ultimately the big ending reconciliation scene gets cut because I’m assuming they edited all of them after writing s4 and 5 and at the point the writers were over him (vs when they wrote/shot it and let them have that big kiss scene at the end).
It is interesting that it manifested itself the way it did though, and maybe s5 will shed some light on the situation if the new blonde guy really is the new Ted, because it seemed like they really hated Guzman in s4. But maybe this is just what happens when you stop being a Ted and maybe it feels so intense because when you go from getting everything to getting nothing it feels like a very stark difference because his ending wasn't the worst thing in the world, at least he didn't go to jail - maybe that's what would have happened if they really did hate him because that would have been quite the full circle lmao. But it's like if you compare what he got in s3: a promise to get back together with his Robin essentially, at peace with the death of his sister and his friend who was her murderer, and reconciled with Samuel and Ander, versus s4 where he lost his Robin, he's getting cheated on (with Samu of all people), he murders a man randomly for a girl he's just met who doesn't even love him enough to choose him when he asks her to (!!! Guzman??? murdering someone ??? for a rando at that !!!), and ends up leaving in the middle of the school year without even getting any qualifications, it's just very .......... very unTed like behaviour lol.

warning: cursing, angst, smut, violence, betrayal lol jk...unless
A/N: This is another project that I wanted to make for an underrepresented character in terms of fic. He’s a gorgeous man and deserves a series, so I hope you enjoy this.

Chapter 3
The nano tech that Shuri had perfected in Wakanda was Wilson’s saving grace. He’d been invited to brunch with the Rosendo’s at Gaby’s place. It’d been over a decade since the last time he saw her parents. His parents sat next to hers at the graduation ceremony, they thanked him for being a good influence on their daughter. Sam never felt like he had any influence on her, but maybe they saw something he didn’t.
He tried not to get too dressed up, and carefully placed the mic on his shirt. You couldn’t even tell it was there, yet it could record up to three days worth of conversations with high quality sound. Perhaps whatever they were going to talk about would be incriminating enough that it would make this mission end soon. Enough for him to be left alone, and never return to Harlem. Once he took down Rosendo the borough would no longer claim his as one of them. It hurt to think about it, but it was true.
All good holds a cloud of bad and this was that situation. His ties to Harlem were thin now any ways, his parents had moved out of Harlem only a year or two after he graduated and settled in New Orleans with some old family. He told Barnes to listen for when the recording started and make a copy of it in case the recorder was broken. It was always better to be safe than sorry. With that he left to her lavish place.
When he got there, he was about to knock, but he stopped himself. A part of him didn’t feel ready for all this mess. Did he really want to do this? Without really thinking it through, his hand moved to knock on the door. There was no way to stop a moving train. Gabrielle opened the door, the sound of her step father arguing with her momma in spanish. It didn’t sound too good and from the eye roll she was giving him, it most likely wasn’t, “come in. I don’t want my neighbors complaining again.”
As he stepped in, he was met by their gaze. Suddenly the argument was over and now they had to be gracious hosts, Don Rosendo got up from his seat, “Samuel! Look at you! Como cresiste!” The man then gave him a hug, he smelled like his uncle, the same cologne all old heads used. Mrs. Rosendo shook his hand, “how’s Harlem’s super hero doing?” Her voice was supposed to sound cheery, but to him she just sounded annoyed. If he was right, she was mad because he looked like Gabrielle’s real dad and according to Gaby, that was one thing she couldn’t stand; being reminded of her first husband.
They all sat down for the supposed brunch which was really just lunch at that point. Sam still hadn’t answered her question. He figured he should as quickly as possible, “I’ve had better days this whole trial situation is very-” the Don cut him off, “now listen whatever you need. Lawyers, a place to stay, money- anything. We will help you, you have taken care of Gabrielle in the past. It would be my honor to repay the favor.” Gaby nodded along, he played it off as best he could. Of course, he knew all this was going to be recorded, “gracias Don, lo aprecio. The whole team has lawyers that Stark got, but honestly I think I might not get lucky.” They all started a small rumble of “don’t think like that” Gabrielle looked heartbroken.
The meal wasn’t incriminating per say, but he understood they talked in code. He understood most of the spanish, even if he couldn’t speak it fluently. Most of the real incriminating things were always spoken in the main language. As soon as it was over they left the apartment to the garage, “where we going?” He asked her as he tried to keep up. She didn’t say anything just for him to get into her car. It was a quiet ride and he was beginning to wonder if she had caught on to him. Then they pulled into an empty parking lot, “I gotta meet up with someone real quick. Wait for me here yeah?” He nodded watching as she walked out, he noticed there was no one else around. It was one of the forgotten parts of the borough.
Carefully as possible he recorded what he was witnessing, she was getting her money. Gaby came back into the car with a spot of blood on her sneakers, she sucked her teeth “these were brand new too.” He didn’t say anything, “listen you already knew what I get up to. I know you’re in a bad spot maybe I can help you get into something easier than saving the world.” He raised an eyebrow, “from hero to slanger? Damn girl, I don’t know.” She sighed giving him a sad smile, “I don’t want you going to jail-” “I don’t wanna go either, but we both know it’s gonna be the case anyways.” Again, quiet and then she kissed him. So this was the feeling he’d missed in high school. Sam always wondered what her lips felt like.
She had a safe house around block from where they were. No time was wasted, she’d done that already. It looked hasty, but that didn’t matter. As soon as they stepped into the house everything was off. Sam’s lips latched to hers, to her body, anywhere they could get to until they trailed to her thighs. Lace looked good on, but it looked better when it was off. His tongue lapped at her core, her hands caressed his head as she grinded into his face. She could feel it building up, the deep warm feeling came rushing, her legs felt like jelly. Her chest rose and fell, “we’re not done yet baby. Lay down,” he whispered to her. His voice had gotten raspy, it only made her want him more.
Nodding at his command she watched him, “you sure you want this?” Gaby giggled, “boy if you don’t hurry and come get this.” Sam smiled leaning down to kiss her. She could taste herself on his lips and then she felt him enter her. Her arms wrapped around his shoulders. The whimpers and moans she gave him as he thrusted into her only made him speed up. “Fuck papi, don’t stop,” she gasped out as bottomed out and thrusted deeper into her.
He had her how we wanted her, she felt like heaven. Was it wrong? Very wrong, but deep down he’d always wanted this and why would he deny himself something they both wanted for a long time. He knew she was close, he could feel her clench around him, “almost there mami, almost there” he whispered in her ear as he pounded into her. His hand wrapped around her neck as he held her up, the new angle making her whimpers louder. She couldn’t last much longer, she came moaning his name frantically as she rode out her high. He wasn’t far behind with a final thrust he filled the condom with his ssed.
The room was humid and smelled of sex. They laid down her head pressed into his chest, “damn I guess you’re not so square after all.” He shrugged, “can’t judge a book.” She kissed him again, “stay with me?” Sam was quiet for a second, “yeah. I’m just scared is all.” Her eyes were all big and doe like, “don’t be. You got me now,” yeah he did.

I thought that was so significant. He was clearly pissed, why wouldn't he be, but he didn't even ever hold it against her. Their next conversation after that was already him telling her that he missed her and seeing if she was ok.
Exactly! He could have been mad at her for not doing the right thing but he didn’t hold a grudge because he knows Carla. He had been urging Guzman to get Ander to talk as well for the entire episode because he had a feeling Carla might go back on her word. He knows who she is and her family life, and he knew that she did what she thought she had to do to save her family. I think there was also that small part of him that thought she wouldn’t think he was worth it. Like when he said “you’ll have me” it was a risk for him because no one’s ever risked it all for him I guess. Marina never put everything on the line for him but she did for Nano. So when she tells the truth in court, part of him is just mad, it’s hurt because he recognizes it as yet another person who yeah, had feelings for him, yet didn’t reciprocate them AS much or go to the same lengths he did for them. Yet instead of being petty or angry about it, he just asks if she’s okay and tries to convince her to come back. He tries to salvage whatever’s left of his relationship with her because a) he cares about her too much to let his anger get in the way, and b) he knows that even though it was hard for him to watch him get away with it, it was probably harder for her to go through that. Like he put his anger aside and fought so hard to make their relationship work and that’s why I like Samuel when he’s with Carla. He never gives up on her and never turns his back on her.

Élite Season 4 Review
as an og fan of élite who’s been binging every single season on the day it came out, i watched the fourth season yesterday. here’s my thoughts. obviously includes spoilers for both the new season and some short stories.
the short stories of carmuel and caye/rebe/guzman were the best for me.
the new characters were… uh… how do i put this nicely
ari is the new lu. but less interesting. hated her at first, felt kinda sorry for her at the end though.
mencía is a cardboard copy of miss marina. 🙄
idk how to feel about their dad?? uhhh
i was really hyped for phillipe’s character (idk how to spell it i’m sorry lmao) but man what a letdown.
ya know what… i really liked cayetana this season! i felt neutral about her before but i rlly liked her this season. wish she’d had more screen time.
THEY BUILT UP GUZNADIA FOR THREE SEASONS ONLY FOR THEM TO BREAK UP WITHIN THREE EPISODES AND HAVE GUZMÁN GO AFTER A DIFFERENT CHICK?? W H A T
i liked ander back in season 1… but his character just becomes less and less likeable over the seasons. fight me.
shoutout to samu’s hair this season. hot.
okay but what the fuck was up with all the fucked up relationships this season?? omander. carmuel. guznadia. samu and guzmán. samu and rebe’s friendship, which come on, could’ve gone back to the way it was back in s2.
speaking of rebe, this girl got hurt way too much this season?? pls stop she deserves happiness thanks
HAHA i forgot patrick… no. nah. i didn’t like him.
i cannot stress this enough: FUCK LOVE TRIANGLES. for me it worked in season 1 with carla/polo/christian because they actually seemed to be into polyamory and it actually benefited the fucking plotline around covering up marina’s murder. but that was it. AND THEY HAVE ONE OR TWO EVERY SEASON. it’s exhausting. jesus.
HEY BY THE WAY… what happened to la inspectora from the first three seasons? ma’am?? where you at?? the kids fucked up again and someone nearly died. then someone actually died.
the mystery this season was so fucking dull. like i forgot what was even going on kinda dull. the interrogation scenes were not nearly as compelling as in the previous seasons, they didn’t give you chills, didn’t make you wonder what the hell happened.
you don’t even need a murder mystery to make it interesting. season 2 was my favorite season, and there was no murder mystery — samuel had gone missing. his disappearance and the interrogation scenes were interesting, no one saw the guzmán teamup coming or his relationship with carla. it was exciting and thrilling and this season did not have that even a little bit.
solid plot twist. i’ll give them that. i did not really see that whole armando storyline coming, although i did figure out he had something to do w it because they kept him around for so long.
at the end after guzmán shot that mf in the back i was like NO DONT LEAVE THE BODY?? and then i saw he and samu and someone else i think (i don’t even remember man) dropped his body into the lake. i liked that, reminded me of the trophy.
the fuck is up with the fasion getting more and more extra this season? compare the party outfits from season 1 to the ones we have now. a little extra is good, but now they’re just plain ugly. anyway s1 and s2 fashion >>>
that one scene in the restaurant where guzmán spoke of marina and the way she was as a person and a daughter… that was so well written. i feel like so many people (the writers included) forgot about marina bc she was the first to die and only appeared in season 1, but still. like this teenage boy lost his sister (and so much more) in such a short span of time. i’m glad they at least acknowledged it.
dude… obviously i know that the show isn’t realistic at all but these kids have been through so much. guzmán has been through the worst shit. losing his little sister to murder and then his best friend as well? seeing him die in his fucking arms? and the other kids? they’re still teenagers man. it is beyond wild to think that they’d be as carefree as they were displayed to be this season.
obviously that joke rebe made in the short story about not being able to take any more interrogations and murders and shit was, well, a joke, and it was delivered well, but if you think about it… come ON. they’ve been through hell and back. the show has never been just light-hearted, it has dealt with several serious issues and deaths and murders and things like that. these kids are broken. why couldn’t they have shown more of that? or at least acknowledged it a little? have someone go to fucking therapy??
i thought overall the whole season was underwhelming. kinda boring.
before the season came out, someone said that they didn’t think the show could thrive without carla, lu, nadia, valerio, polo… and i agree now.
i feel like this season had such a different vibe than the previous seasons. not in a good way.
i miss season 1 and 2 man. those seasons had the best mystery, the best vibe, the best cast. i don’t just miss carla, lu, polo, valerio, nadia… i miss christian and nano as well.
even the soundtracks of the previous seasons were better. i’m sorry to sound this negative in the whole review but man i waited so long for the new season only to be disappointed.
you could consider this a small rant. might add more later.

Okay since you already did it for Carla the only logical consequence for me is to suggest Samuel for the character post lol
Why I like them - bc he’s genuinely very sweet and his awkwardness is cute and relatable - he’s super caring towards his friends and always tries to help them - if he isn’t being what i said above that’s because horrible shit keeps happening to him that he can’t control and he’s just trying to get through all the shit life keeps throwing at him while being surrounded by a sea of rich kids that he knows will always win no matter what he does - so i feel bad for him bc he has literally nothing left in the end and idk it’s valid to like a character because they’re suffering ok? it’s called empathy - he’s super determined which i value highly and actually tries to believe in justice (people in elite don’t know what that is) - he keeps trying to save nano by any means possible even though he was absolute shit of a brother to him, that’s called loyalty - also this shouldn’t even be a valid reason but people give him so much hate for literally like, breathing so i always feel compelled to protect him - also itzan is hot and cute at the same time which helps a lot - *whispers* carmuel (he sees right through her and they’re EQUALS like he makes carla a better human hello?)
Why I don’t - s1 samuel who didn’t see what was going on right under his nose with marina and nano was annoying af - ok what he did to rebe was fairly shitty i’ll admit it (i find his motives very reasonable and the thing much less severe than like basically every other shit the people in elite did on the daily but i feel compelled to mention it before anyone jumps at my neck) - also he should’ve fought for carla harder ugh he knew something was wrong but like i don’t blame him for being depressed considering everything but also SAMUEL you idiot
Favorite episode (scene if movie) - 2x03
Favorite season/movie - 2!!! (but 2 would be my answer for about every character so)
Favorite line - because i look at you and i know that you don’t want to hurt anyone.//what if we just go with it? (i love the car scene ok?) - i’m not good with people. or at life in general. (biggest mood) - because she’s not okay! don’t you see? (ughugh) (to valerio about carla bc he was the one who saw there was something wrong not polo)
Favorite outfit lol does he ever wear anything different than his school uniform and plain t-shirts? (out of them, the long-sleeved black one but we all know it doesn’t really matter what itzan wears)
OTP - um. yeah.
Brotp - honestly omar. guzmán and him were really great at holding each other up in the end but they also did very questionable shit together so omar. (and nadia. sigh. THEY were good friends before s3 had all the characters just forget about anything that happened in the past and behave like they were different people)
Head Canon - say it with me ladies: a reunion with carla in london
Unpopular opinion - all of this is an unpopular opinion lmao but the biggest one: what he did to rebeka wasn’t that ba. let’s not forget that because of rebeka and her mother, he almost got killed, and rebeka did NOTHING at the end of s2 when she knew it was her fault despite having feelings for him. so like, i don’t think helping get a drug lord go to prison when she’s guilty af and her business probably ruins the lives of hundreds of people bc DRUGS is not that horrible when you’re a teenager who feels like it’s the only way of getting your family back and not being completely alone.)
A wish - if we’re realistic and just accept that ester’s not coming back and itzan’s leaving after s4, i hope samu graduates with great grades, gets into a good uni and manages to be somewhat happy. also that he gets his mum back at home (seriously she left him for nano? parent of the year.)
An oh-god-please-dont-ever-happen - getting back together with rebeka jesus christ that wouldn’t be good for anyone
5 words to best describe them - determined, earnest, goofy, caring, hard-working
My nickname for them - samu is the cutest diminuitive that’s ever existed
