You had never felt more stupid or naive in your life.
How could you let this happen? How could you allow yourself to be put in this position, knowing deep down you would ultimately get hurt? And the worst part was, you had no one to blame but yourself. Joel was upfront from the very beginning. He was paying you to pretend to be his significant other and he repeatedly drew the line in the sand, refusing over and over again to take things further with you. But you just kept pushing and pushing and he eventually caved, your persistence finally wearing him down. And after everything, after he told you he had never been in love, after explaining he was only with Tammy for vengeance and then convenience, you still foolishly thought maybe you were different. That maybe you could change him. What the hell had gotten into you? Why couldn't you just do the job you were hired to do, collect your payment and go home?
Stupid. Stupid, stupid, stupid.
You squeezed your eyes shut, forcing the tears back as you stood over your bed, packing the rest of your belongings before the plane took off in a couple hours. Most of your things were packed, the clothes and accessories Joel and purchased for you before the trip, but you still had to gather all your own personal items. When you pulled your bag from the closet, forgotten and untouched for weeks, you immediately spotted an old, baggy shirt and your favorite pair of jeans. Without even thinking twice, you stripped off the pajamas and underwear that were purchased for you and replaced everything with your own clothes. When you pulled your shirt over your head and looked in the mirror, you took a deep breath and gave yourself a little smile.
This was the girl you knew. This was who you really were. Not some girl who pranced around in lingerie that cost more than a month's rent or a swimsuit that could cover a car payment.
You should have known this life wasn't for you. Joel had called you a hopeless romantic that day on the beach. The same day he got you the pretty pink seashells you now cradled carefully in the palms of your hands.
Maybe he was right.
"Almost ready?"
You jumped at his deep voice in your doorway and nearly dropped the seashells. With extra care, you wrapped them in an old hoodie and buried them in your bag.
"Yeah, almost," you said over your shoulder, pausing a moment when you saw the two white, unopened envelopes filled with tip money you had completely forgotten about.
Joel's arms circled your waist from behind and you quickly closed the bag.
"Feelin' sad it's over?" he asked, lips pressed gently into the crook of your neck. And you knew he meant the trip, but your heart still wrenched in your chest, anyway.
"Uh, yeah," you said, swallowing down the dejection that threatened to crawl up your throat. You carefully pried his hands off you and slipped away to pack your toiletries, leaving him standing there with a confused look on his face.
He watched you as you busied yourself with packing, taking great care to wrap your shampoo and face wash so it wouldn't leak, and he frowned.
"Somethin's up."
You shook your head and pressed your lips together, focus still fixed on your task. "No. Just... like you said. Sad it's over."
Joel ticked his jaw to the side, still not convinced. Then it dawned on him and he slowly sat down on the edge of your bed.
"We never talked last night like I said we would," he said. "'M sorry, I was thinkin' 'bout the land and all the shit I gotta do to finalize the sale... we'll talk on the plane, alright? Promise, baby."
For some reason, hearing him call you baby made your stomach turn and you instantly bristled.
"Uh, no, it's fine," you insisted, tucking your hair behind your ear when you bent over to shove your toiletries into your bag. "Nothing to talk about, it was stupid."
And now, it really did seem stupid. Admitting you would have come there without being paid just for him to lie and break your heart hours later?
But, shit... it was still true. Even after he lied, you still didn't want any of his money. He could keep it all if it meant he would open up and let you in.
"Wasn't stupid," Joel finally said softly. He was beginning to worry now. Something wasn't right and it was making his pulse race. When you breezed past him to gather the things from your nightstand, he grabbed your wrist and spun you around. Reluctantly, you met his eye and he imploringly gazed up at you.
"Talk to me."
You inhaled a shaky breath and dropped your chin to your chest. "Joel... I still have to pack-"
"I don't care," he said sternly, "I got people to do that for us. Why ain't you lookin' at me?"
Nerves shot through your limbs, fingers beginning to shake so you curled them into fists. You had to bring it up one way or another, right?
The words tumbled out before you could stop them.
"Why won't you tell me what happened with your daughter?"
Once the words left your lips, the room instantly felt colder, his grip felt tighter, and your muscles stiffened in anticipation.
"What?" he asked, his voice so low and his tone so icy that it sent a shiver down your spine. You shifted nervously from foot to foot, eyes still pinned to the floor.
"Why won't-"
"I fuckin' heard you," he snapped, dropping your wrists and standing up. "Who told you?"
You swallowed tightly and took a few steps backwards.
"Tammy."
Joel practically growled with rage as he began to pace around your room, the area that once felt so spacious and luxurious now felt so small and cold. He grumbled under his breath and dragged his hand through his hair, curls sticking up in odd directions when he turned on you with a look that could melt steel.
"The hell you talkin' to her for?"
Of all the things for him to say, you didn't expect that.
"What do you - she came at me last night! She threatened to tell Glenn about your daughter and brother and I had to pretend like I already knew!"
Tears welled up in your eyes and your hands pressed protectively against your chest.
"I was helping you, Joel. I stopped her from ruining this deal for you." And you hated the way your voice wobbled when you said, "I was doing my job."
His eyes flashed with anger when he stopped a few feet away from you with his hands propped on his hips.
"You shoulda came to get me. This didn't have anythin' to do with you," he told you. You winced and looked back down at the floor, unable to stop yourself from taking it personally.
"Why does Tammy know more about your family than I do?" you asked, your voice so small and weak it was borderline embarrassing.
"'Cause-" he cut himself off, swiping his palm over his mouth while he stared at you, wrestling with his anger and his feelings all at once.
"'Cause it ain't part of the deal?" you offered bitterly, just as surprised as him at the quick change in your tone. And because he was foolish and always quick to anger, he took the bait.
"Yeah, 'cause it ain't part of the deal," he huffed, narrowing his eyes at you.
"But it was part of her deal," you pointed out. At that, Joel rolled his eyes and threw his hands in the air.
"The hell you want from me?" he asked, voice rising now. "I told you 'bout her, told you what happened-"
"And you told me she was the only reason you felt you weren't a 'good man'!" you shouted with air quotes, your heartbreak bleeding into anger. "You fucking lied to me, Joel!"
"My family ain't none of your goddamn business!" he shouted back, the look in his eye and the sting of his words making you falter for a moment. "If I wanted to tell you, I woulda told you!"
"That's the problem, isn't it? You don't want to tell me anything! It's like pulling teeth with you, Joel, I swear to god..."
You pushed past him to shove the remaining items from your end table recklessly into your bag while he stalked after you.
"You wanna know 'bout my daughter? 'Bout my brother? Will that make you happy?" he yelled, his face growing hot and his eyes flickering with anger as he towered over you. You spun around with your arms crossed, refusing to let him intimidate you. But before you could shoot back an answer, he kept going.
"You wanna know how I abandoned my kid? You want me to tell you how I turned my back on my brother, let him lose his goddamn business? Huh?"
You blinked and shook your head, stunned.
"W-what?"
"Yeah, that's right," he sneered, turning away momentarily before twisting back around to face you. "This is why I don't do shit like this. 'Cause of the look you're givin' me right now."
You were speechless. You couldn't think of a single thing to say to make the situation better, so you kept your mouth shut and held back your tears while he cursed under his breath and tried not to yank his hair out at the root. When it became apparent you had no fight left in you, he twisted his wrist to look at the time with a scowl, then haphazardly picked up your bag from the bed and tossed it on the ground next to the others.
"We're leavin' in half an hour, be ready," he muttered, then slammed your door behind him after he disappeared into the hallway.
You let the tears fall, then. Only when he was gone and couldn't see. You buried your face in your hands and fell to your knees next to your things and sobbed as silently as possible, refusing to give him the satisfaction of hearing you so hurt.
When you found a break in the sadness after taking a deep breath and drying your cheeks, you righted your bag only to hear shards of something delicate rattling inside. You frantically dug around and found the pink seashells all but destroyed and another wave of tears washed over you, only that time you didn't try to hide it. You sobbed openly while clutching the pieces to your chest, rocking back and forth, hoping to ease the pain somehow, but nothing helped.
Nothing could put the seashells or your heart back together.
Panic seized his throat approximately four minutes after he slammed his door, storming into his bedroom and muttering angrily under his breath until the clouds cleared and he realized his mistake.
His huge, fat, monstrous fucking mistake.
The hurt he carried with him about Sarah and Tommy wasn't meant to be unloaded onto you. It was something he was responsible for and something he had to deal with. It wasn't fair to snap at you the way he did just because he felt shame. He was taken off-guard, shocked that you knew anything about them in the first place, and he lashed out. Everything between you was so new, he was too scared to tell you the truth.
But it ultimately didn't matter.
He pushed you away, like he always did. He wasn't honest, you called him out on it, and he fought back like a petulant child.
And now he was going to lose you.
He whipped out his phone and typed out a quick text to his assistant, Liam.
What should I do for a girl when I've fucked things up beyond recognition?
He waited for a response and stared listlessly out the window, fingers tapping anxiously against his leg until he heard something. He rushed to his door and pressed his ear against the wood, brows furrowing as he tried to pinpoint the sound. Then his chest ached when he heard your muffled crying from across the hall.
Are we talking Chanel bag fucked up Cartier watch fucked up?
Joel frowned at his screen before replying, remembering the relaxed outfit you were wearing when he walked into your room earlier. They were definitely not clothes he bought. He already knew, but you weren't the type of person who cared about stuff like that.
I have no idea which one of those is better or worse. I fucked up big time but I don't think designer shit's the answer.
Then something sentimental. Something that means something to her. Or the both of you, if that's possible.
Joel rolled his eyes before tapping out a thanks and sliding the phone back into his pocket. Right before he was about to step out into the hall, his phone buzzed again.
And say you're sorry. Feels like that's a given but who knows with you.
Liam had been Joel's assistant for almost a decade. He knew Joel would never fire him because he was just too damn good at his job, and he loved to wield his power whenever moments arose to do so.
A simple apology wouldn't be enough. He needed to do more. But he was so fucking terrible at this, so rusty, he could hardly even remember what it was like to be in a legitimate relationship.
Was that was this was? He never had the chance to ask. And now he could feel it slipping through his fingers, just like the sand on the beach that day he kissed you in the ocean, or the powdered paint used to decorate your faces.
Joel swung his door open, ready to barge back into your room, take you into his arms and apologize until you either accepted it or screamed at him to stop. But when he stepped across the hall, your room was empty. Your bags were gone.
He hurried into the living room to find you tugging at your luggage, hair all wild and covering most of your tear soaked face as you struggled to get your bags closer to the door.
"Darlin', you don't gotta do that, the crew'll get all this shit," he reminded you, purposely softening his voice. He rubbed at his chest as he approached, ready to apologize, but the minute he got a good look at your face, he knew it was no use. Your eyes were all puffy and filled with rage when your head snapped up to look at him.
"I don't need you or your people to help me," you hissed, angrily swiping at your hair. He held out his hands in surrender, hoping you could see how sorry he was, but you just swiveled away to grab your bag and toss it over your shoulder.
"Wait, can we talk-"
"I'll be in the lobby," you said bitterly, and before he could say anything else, you disappeared out into the hall and the door had swung shut.
Admittedly, you had envisioned using the bed on Joel's private jet for something far more fun than lying there staring at the ceiling with eyes so dry and raw, they felt like sandpaper. Yet that was exactly how you found yourself three hours into the flight, unable to find peace or rest, your argument playing on a loop in your head.
Then, of course, came the intrusive thoughts.
Were you no better than a whore? Technically, you slept with a man who was paying you for your companionship. Wasn't that the very definition of a prostitute?
Joel only carried on a relationship with Tammy when it was convenient and the moment she started to develop feelings, he cut her off. You were certainly convenient, sleeping right across the hall, practically throwing yourself at him. And although he could probably sense you wanted more from him, that you were feeling something more but too afraid to admit, at least you never got to the point where you put yourself out there. At least you still had some dignity intact.
Somewhat.
You rolled over with a frustrated groan, savoring the feeling of the expensive, buttery soft sheets against your skin, knowing in a few short hours you would be back to the worn out cotton set you had bought back in college.
The luxury items were nice, but you could live without them. There was only one thing on that plane you really wanted, but your mind won the battle over your heart: you wouldn't let him hurt you again. He told you exactly who he was, and you didn't believe him.
You wouldn't make that mistake again.
But that didn't stop your heart from splintering in your chest every time you thought about the way his lips felt against your neck, or the sweet things he whispered in your ear - my girl, all fuckin' mine, you got me, or the way he took such gentle care of you after the incident with Brooks.
He was a good man, deep down.
No, he was a fucking asshole and a liar.
With a heavy sigh, you sat up in bed and fixed your hair, bending over to look in the mirror by the closet at your appearance and swiping the pad of your finger underneath both eyes, as if it made any difference, before straightening up and opening the door.
Joel sat with his head in his hands in front of his glowing laptop. He didn't hear the door open at first, so you paused, taking a rare moment to study him when his guard was down. His shoulders looked heavy, fingers curling into his hair as if he were in pain, and his leg bounced wildly underneath the table. If you didn't know any better, he looked conflicted. Like he was wrapped in guilt and self-pity.
You tossed your hair over your shoulder and lifted your chin high. It's not about you. He's working. It's probably about some bullshit with work. Don't do this to yourself again. Don't think you're something to him when you're not.
You stared at him a minute longer, anger bubbling up inside you again, but this time your anger was directed inward. Why, after he lied to you, after he said his family ain't none of your business and if I wanted to tell you, I woulda told you and it ain't part of the deal, did you stand there wishing you could climb into his lap and bury your face against his neck? Breathe him in and let him fill you? Whisper your names into each other's mouths and scrape your nails over his scalp just to hear him groan?
You must have made a noise, or maybe he was developing a sixth sense because suddenly his hands dropped, his leg froze, and his eyes snapped up to meet yours. Your gaze darted nervously around the plane, squinting out the window through the clouds as if you could tell where you were as you flew over the entire goddamn ocean, before finding his eyes again.
"Get any sleep?" he asked. His voice was raspy from disuse and you rolled your shoulders, trying to physically rid your body of the effect those three simple words had on you.
"No," you replied before slumping down into a chair on the other side of the cabin, furthest away from him. You tucked your fist under your chin and gazed tiredly out the window. Joel's eyes could have burned holes into your head from the way he was staring at you, scanning you, trying to come up with the right combination of words that would take back everything he said, until finally he cracked.
"Please talk to me."
Your eyelids fluttered closed at the soft desperation in his tone, throat feeling like someone's fingers were squeezing around it.
"There's nothing to talk about."
Joel huffed and stood, joints cracking from sitting in the same position for too long. In three long strides, he dropped himself into the seat across from you.
"You had questions. Lemme answer 'em."
You opened your eyes and forced yourself to look at him. Up close, he looked disheveled. A little rattled, maybe. But mostly determined.
"You said it yourself. If you wanted to tell me, you would've. If she never said anything to me, would you have told me you had a daughter?"
His mouth opened and closed for a moment, considering his answer.
"No," he finally replied. You rolled your eyes and turned your head away, neck straining at an impossible angle so you could stare out the window and avoid seeing him in your peripheral vision. "But not for the reasons you think."
"Yeah? You have no idea what I'm thinking," you muttered.
"What happened was... it's a long story, but-"
"But you told Tammy," you snapped, eyes still glued to the clouds.
"I've known both of 'em for years-"
"You said you didn't care for her that way, yet she knows so much about you," you rambled, too lost in your own anger and jealousy now.
"Can you let me-"
"God, I'm so fucking stupid. This was a huge mistake-"
"Will you let me fuckin' finish?" Joel asked, voice rising and purposely cutting you off before you could finish the sentence that might shatter his heart for good.
You whipped your head around, nostrils flaring and brows sewn together into a glare. Joel just stared right back, his chest rising a little faster under his button down shirt, dark eyes looking stormier than usual. When too much time had passed, you raised your eyebrows and wiggled your head from side to side expectantly. Go on, speak. He took a deep breath and pressed his back firmly into the plush leather chair before continuing.
"I've known her and Scott for a long time. They knew 'bout Sarah years ago. And, yeah, when I was younger and fuckin' stupid, I told both of 'em too much 'bout me. But I couldn't tell you, 'cause-"
He cut himself off, swallowing the lump in his throat as you stared one another down.
"'Cause I care what you think. 'Bout me. I care what you think 'bout me. Don't care what she thinks. Just you."
Sarah. Joel. Sarah and Joel, Joel and Sarah.
Just you.
Your eyes pinched shut and your shoulders sagged, the emotional whiplash finally taking its toll.
"I can tell you, if you want," Joel offered. His hands were fidgeting in his lap as he searched for any possible sign that he was breaking through.
"If I want. But you don't want to, right?"
Your voice sounded so small, you barely recognized it.
When he didn't answer, you lifted your chin and opened your eyes. You watched his throat bob and his lips purse before giving you a defeated look and slowly shook his head. At least he didn't lie again.
You bit your lower lip and nodded. You'd had enough.
"Then don't. Doesn't make a difference now, anyway," you told him. Reaching for your bag, you pulled out some earbuds and a hoodie, muttering angrily to yourself when you found it inside out.
Joel just watched, dejected and lost, too out of his element to undo the damage he caused as you yanked the hoodie over your head and popped your earbuds in. Once you reclined your chair and closed your eyes, he got the message.
He would just have to accept it was over.
When you finally fell into a restless slumber, you dreamt. You dreamt about a pair of soulful brown eyes, strong hands and a smile that made you weak in the knees.
The worst I'll ask is for you to hold my hand and the occasional kiss.
Only it wasn't just that, was it? It was secret touches that blossomed into flirty kisses when no one was around until the tension broke and he turned your world upside down with his deep laugh, sweet touch and torn knuckles.
Then you dreamt of broken seashells, salty tears, and you were hired to look pretty and act like you're in love with me. Everythin' else is none of your goddamn business.
He tried to warn you, you gave him that. He tried to push you away, but you persisted. You were foolish and had no idea what you were getting yourself into, and now you were left with a broken heart, heading back to Los Angeles to an empty apartment.
Joel was unavailable, plain and simple. He had a fortress built around himself that was impossible to tear down, and even though he offered to let you in, give you the grand tour, it wasn't genuine. He didn't offer because he wanted you in, he offered because it was what you wanted. And maybe to assuage his own guilt.
The flight crew woke you up when dinner was ready. You groggily sat up and tried to force feed yourself some chicken, something you assumed Joel had ordered for you, but you hardly made it halfway through before giving up.
He glanced at you occasionally but he kept to himself. He focused intently on his laptop or phone while you tried to find something to distract yourself with on TV.
When the flight crew announced you'd be landing in half an hour, Joel straightened up and began to look a little panicked, like maybe he had been expecting you to cave, trapped on his private jet with him, and you never did. And now you'd be landing soon, his chances dwindling.
"I ain't good at this," he said out of the blue. You just shrugged and kept your gaze fixed on the television.
"I noticed."
His fingers rapped impatiently on the table.
"What if we started over?"
Curiosity got the best of you and you rolled your head to the side to look at him with a raised eyebrow, which he took that as an invitation to keep talking.
"We didn't meet on the right terms. This wasn't -"
He sighed and raked his fingers through his hair.
"I don't do relationships," he began again, and at that you scoffed.
"I'm very aware of that, too."
He narrowed his eyes at your dry tone. "But you do."
You frowned and turned back to gaze blankly at the TV. "Yes, Joel. Like most normal people, I have relationships."
"Alright. What if I'd be willin' to try somethin' like that? For you? Start over and do it right?" he asked hopefully.
"Then I would say twenty four hours ago, that was exactly what I wanted to hear," you said coldly. You saw him stand out of the corner of your eye and find a swivel chair closer to where you sat on the couch.
"And now?"
The deep timber of his voice had you taking a moment to breathe deep and collect yourself. You could smell his cologne, the one you never got the name of but would spend two hours one day in the near future trying to find it in a department store just so you could smell him again.
"And now..." you echoed, your brain tossing around various replies until you settled on, "I don't know."
He inched forward on the chair and glanced over his shoulder to make sure you were alone before saying, "Listen, baby. I'm sorry. I'm so unbelievably fuckin' sorry that it makes me want to pluck by goddamn eyes out. I wanna make this right. Just tell me what to do."
The pilot announced your decent and you sat up to buckle yourself in.
"I'm not going to force you into opening up for me, Joel," you said, clicking your seatbelt loudly before meeting his eye. "You can tell me everything about you. Every ugly, horrible, nasty little thing. But unless you really want to tell me, unless you trust me and care for me enough to not judge you for it, I don't want to hear it."
His eyes dropped sadly to the floor and he nodded. He lied to you already, and he wasn't going to sit there and lie again. But maybe one day he would grow into a better person, someone who would want to share the terrible things they've done with someone they care for and trust they wouldn't think any less of him.
But today was not the day.
He sat back in his chair and you kept your focus on the television as the plane landed and began to screech to a halt. When it slowed, you leaned forward to put your earbuds and book away, then frowned when you saw the pieces of pink seashells still scattered around the bottom of your bag.
You began to scoop them up and Joel watched you curiously, ignoring the flight crew flitting around and doing all their checks.
When your hands emerged from the bag holding the broken pink pieces, he found himself lurching forward.
"They broke?" he asked, feeling far more sentimental about it than he ever expected.
You nodded and dumped them into a small trash can within reach. "When you threw my bag on the floor earlier."
Joel froze and scanned his memory. When did he throw your bag? Then he remembered angrily storming out of your room and haphazardly tossing your bag off your bed to join the rest by the door, not thinking anything of it at the time.
"Fuck," he muttered, dragging his palms roughly over his face. Yet another mistake. "Darlin', I'm so sorry, I didn't mean-"
"It's fine," you told him, cutting him off when you unbuckled your seatbelt to stand. You caught the look he gave you and you shrugged. "Really, it's fine. I'm over it."
You slung your bag over your shoulder and headed for the exit. Joel stood to follow you, glancing forlornly at the garbage one more time before swiping his wallet and phone from the table next to his laptop.
He nodded to his driver, who stood obediently next to the open car door where you had disappeared inside.
"Richie," Joel greeted him with a firm handshake. Richie smiled before holding out his arm and stepping to the side.
"Congratulations, sir. You must be thrilled."
Joel gave him a curt nod and ducked inside the backseat of the car. Thrilled? No, he was hardly thrilled. A day ago he was thrilled. A day ago he had it all. But now? He had the land, sure. He was bound to make a mountain of money off the new hotel, his business would thrive and his hotel would become a household name.
But it didn't make him happy. Not the way it used to.
"Here," you said after ten minutes of driving in silence. He turned and felt his heart skip a beat when you held out your ring. Slowly, he unfurled his fist to open his palm so you could drop it in his hand. Joel gazed down at it, the gold still warm, and wondered how long it would take for the tightness in his chest to ease.
"I'll have someone drop the clothes and stuff off sometime next week," he murmured, sliding the ring into his inside jacket pocket. It felt like a goddamn weight pressing into chest.
"Keep them," you replied, still facing away from him so you could stare out the window at the quiet, dark streets.
"Part of the contract. They're yours," he reminded you.
"I don't care. I don't have the room for them. Besides, where the hell am I going to wear a designer dress? To the grocery store?"
Joel dropped his gaze to the seat, staring at the space between you. It was only a handful of inches but it felt like miles.
"The money'll be wired tomorrow," he said, clenching his teeth when Richie turned onto your street.
"Keep that, too."
His head whipped around, eyes narrowing into a glare. "No."
"I don't want it, Joel," you insisted as you unbuckled your seatbelt. The car came to a stop and Joel shot his arm out to stop you.
"Richie, give us a second."
The driver immediately stepped out of the car and leaned against the hood to light a cigarette. You fixated on the bright orange glow so you didn't have to look at Joel.
"You're takin' the money," he told you firmly. "You ain't got a job and we signed a goddamn contract. Quit bein' so stubborn."
You sniffled and gathered your bag.
"If you send it, I'm asking my bank to reject it," you replied. Joel groaned and twisted to the side to face you.
"Why? Why are you fightin' me on this?"
"Because!" you exclaimed, emotions getting the best of you. Finally, your watery eyes found his. "Because I can't take it! Not after everything -"
Your voice caught in your throat and your lower lip trembled. Joel's eyebrows pulled together, stomach feeling like it was filled with cement as he fought the urge to cup your face and pull you into his chest.
You took a deep, steadying breath and then temporarily collected yourself.
"I signed that contract before I knew you," you said quietly. "But now... I ... I just can't." I don't want your money, I just want you.
You reached for the door handle, hellbent on leaving before he could see you cry, but his voice stopped you.
"The money's goin' in tomorrow. If you feel that strongly 'bout it, give it to charity or somethin'. But you're gettin' that money."
Before you could respond, you heard him shuffle in his seat and open his door, telling you to stay put, that he would walk you up. And in the brief few seconds it took him to round the car and shoo Richie away from your door, you tossed the two unopened envelopes onto his seat.
The door opened and you hurried out, clutching your bag tightly against your side and jogging up the few stairs to your building.
With shaky hands, you unlocked the door and took a step inside. You weren't sure what made you do it, but before you let go of the door, you turned to look at him one last time.
He stood at the bottom of your steps, staring up at you with his hands shoved into the pockets of his tailored pants. It took him no time at all to lose the casual attire and slip back into suits that probably cost thousands. Even after everything, part of you still wanted him. The pieces of you he did allow you to see were good and fun and sweet.
But just pieces wouldn't do.
"Goodbye, Joel," you said, pretending that your voice didn't crack or that a tear didn't sneak down your cheek. He didn't reply. He just continued to watch you from the sidewalk until you turned and disappeared inside, into an elevator and back into your tiny apartment to cry yourself to sleep.
He didn't say goodbye because he wasn't done. He had already decided hours ago.
He was going to do whatever he had to do to win you back.

thinking about ex boyfriend! bakugou who is so fucking smug because he was your first and doesnt ever leave you alone⊠smut included.
an: this shouldnt have taken all day, but today was pretty shit. đ
you roll onto your right side, feeling the vibration of your phone buzzing. it unlocks looking at your face identifying, and you groan in annoyance. âhello?â
âmorninâ , sleepinâ slut. bad night with the new guy?â you recognize the voice, bakugou. âjust wasnât doinâ nothinâ for you, huh?â he laughs a little bit, a sigh afterwards.
âdo you realize what fucking time it is?â you ask, squinting to look at the white numbers in the corner. âit two fifty three in the goddamn morning.â
âand i bet heâs gone by now, isnt he?â katsuki asks, an expectant huff.
âwho?â you ask, almost damn near impersonating a actual owl. âbecause i dont know who the fuck youâre referring to. ive been at home all day.â
âyerâ new little boy toy. i knew youd whore yourself out to make me jealous.â he says, biting his lip when he heard you starting to argue back and get loud. âyeah? im fuckin wrong?â
âvery much so, very slow at that.â
âi mean, we wouldnt be here had you not gotten âfed up.ââ he reminds, biting his lip and tugging at his hero pants when you scoff. âall we gotta do is get back together and yâknow..â
âyes, lets get back together mr.dynamight who liked to get an attitude when things dont go his way or will purposely lie about shit to make me jealous, i love you.â you say sarcastically, rolling your eyes and pinching the bridge of your nose.
âreally?â he asks, a hand groping himself when he waits for your answer.
âno.â you say, pressing the end call button and tossing the phone into the laundry hamper. sleep was good when you didnt have an ex boyfriend calling you in the buttfuck hours of the morning, but he pestered you more. you obviously hear his calls going to voice mail, but its good that the ringer turned off when you threw it.
âone new voicemail. should i play?â the fax machine asks, replying with a âsure.â out of pity, was the pussy that good he was obsessed? or was he desperate?
âyou know you want me back, princess.. just call me back and show me how much you miss me.â
yeah fuckin right.
you listen closer, hearing heavy breathing and⊠slick? was this fucker only booty calling you at fucking three in the morning for this? is that why he called you?
ânot just callinâ ya because im horny or nothin.. but god, do i miss seeing you.â as soon as you thought the worst. âmiss seeinâ yer pretty face.. or seeing the dumb shit you send me at work.â
you ponder on his words⊠but had he not been a bit of an asshole, you wouldnt be here. all of this was because he wanted you jealous, and ended up you spitting in his face then leaving.
âneed ta tell ya somethin anyway..â he mumbles, a groan from his lips. you knew what he was doing, it slightly turned you on. ânever slept with her.. just lied so you can show me how you can be crazy âbout me.. it was stupid.â
yeah, it was. who the fuck lies about that?
âmiss you so damn bad..â he says, probably pre nut clarity. he moans a little bit, heavy breathing from him stroking his fat cock. âcmon baby, talk to me.â
and an idea pops in your head, you finding some really old photo of you and izuku.

"we're having a costume party at school next week!"
sukuna's only acknowledgement of his nephew's words is that half hum/half grunt sound he makes so oftenâthe one that always seems mostly involuntary and entirely disinterested. to the uninitiated, it might come across as dismissive, but thankfully, having spent his entire life around his uncle, yuuji's fluent enough in his unspoken language to interpret the meaning behind the man's sounds without needing him to elaborate.
"yup!" he continues. "will jichan help me pick my costume?"Â
sukuna looks over at his nephew, finally tearing his eyes away from the screen of his phone.Â
"me?" he asks with a quirk of his brow.Â
yuuji is on the other side of the low table at the centre of the living room, bouncing up and down on the balls of his feet in excitement with his two little hands pressed against the table top where his colouring pages and markers sit abandoned.
"yeah! i gotta pick a good one." yuuji nods enthusiastically.Â
sukuna breathes a short breath out through his nose, but yuuji understands that, tooâthe sound of his beloved uncle conceding, if not outright agreement to his demands.Â
"well i'm not paying for any costume, so your dad better be ready to cough up some cash," sukuna says, slumping back against the sofa behind him and stretching his sock-clad feet out under the kotatsu. "what are your ideas so far?"Â
"dunno!" yuuji comes bounding around to his side of the table, clambering into his uncle's lap and settling in there.Â
"why don't you just dress up like a tiger cub again?" sukuna asks, shifting to accommodate the squirming brat now trying to make himself comfortable atop him.Â
yuuji purses his lips like he's thinking about it. "papa said so too."
yuuji's dressed up like a tiger cub almost every year since he was born (sukuna has many, many photos on his phone to prove it.) it's tried and true. both itadori brothers are decidedly weak to the little boy dressed with fluffy ears and a little tail. it must be genetic.Â
"but kugisaki said she's dressing up like a cat, so nobody else is allowed to," yuuji adds after a moment of contemplation.Â
sukuna's met yuuji's school friend kugisaki nobara once or twice when picking his nephew up from school, or dropping him off at play dates on the weekend. the kid's a tyrant.Â
"off limits then," sukuna saysâa bit resentfully, since he won't have another series of photos to add to his phone camera's gallery this year. "so what else?"Â
"hmmmm," yuuji holds his little chin in his hand as though deep in thought. "what about a ghost?"
"boring," sukuna replies immediately.Â
"a dog?"
"that's too close to a cat," the man shoots that down just as quickly as the first one. âyour bossy little friend wonât like that.â
yuuji nods sagely in agreement and then tries again. âhow âbout a police officer?"Â
"cops are losers, brat," sukuna says, suddenly stern. he points at him to add emphasis. "they're not your friends and we don't trust 'em."
yuuji's lips form a little 'o'.
"papa saysâ"
"your dad's a square, don't listen to him," sukuns lifts the hand that had been pointing at his nephewâs chest and flicks him lightly on the forehead. he yelps in complaint.
"if the police is bad then who do i call if i'm in trouble?" yuuji asks through a pout, rubbing the spot between his brows his uncle had just hit.
"me, obviously," the older man answers without missing a beat.
"oh," yuuji says, his expression evening out again as he acceptis this answer simply. ââkay!"
âso what else is there?â sukuna rubs his chin thoughtfully as he reflects on yuujiiâs options. kidsâ costumes areâdecidedlyânot really his area of expertise. in fact, the images that come to mind when he thinks of costumes should really not even be mentioned in the same sentence as children.
âi gotta be something cool,â yuuji insists, watching his uncle think.Â
âyeah, yeah,â sukuna grunts. âwhat about somethinâ scary?âÂ
yuuji shrinks into himself a little. âi donât like scary stuff.â
âdonât be a wimp,â sukuna teases him, but he holds the kid a little tighter and doesnât bring it up again. thereâs a black marker on the living room floor by his thigh, with the word WASHABLE printed in thick block letters along the side. sukuna picks it up, tapping it against the ground as he contemplates his options while his nephew does the same.Â
tap, tap, tap.
âwhat about a pumpkin?âÂ
âlame. what about a demon?â
âdemons are scary, jichaââ
âyeah, yeah.âÂ
sukuna tosses his head back to rest against the sofa cushions, an arm slung across his eyes.Â
when he opens them again, inspecting his own forearm, he suddenly has an idea.
(when jin comes home from work, he finds his little brother and his son shirtless in the living roomâone inked in tattoos, and one sporting a crude approximation of the same tattoos scrawled in washable marker. jin freezes in confusion at the sight.Â
âpapa, iâm jichan!â yuuji beams proudly up at his father, arms outstretched in display. jinâs eyes turn next to his brother, whoâs looking particularly smug.
âkid said he wanted a cool costume,â he shrugs.Â
yuuji goes as a tiger cub again that year.)
#happy halloween from unkuna and little yuuji#this is real dumb but it's canon to the universe bc i say so#uncle!sukuna

Hi! So I recently got into X Men again after watching Deadpool & Wolverine and by god do I love Gambit! I found your blog and your stuff for him is so good! I do have a request for you if you donât mind. Could I please get a spicy first time with Gambit and fem!reader? Itâs not her first time with a guy but maybe thereâs been some tension building up and he wants to show her what a real man can do if you know what I mean lmao. Iâll leave it pretty open ended, I trust youâll make something awesome! â€ïž
A/N: Saaaaame! My obsession with this man is unwavering đ«Š Pairing: Remy LeBeau "Gambit" x F!Reader Tags: sex in the water, pining, fluff, shy!reader, pnv sex Summary: Reader decides to take a swim in the lake by the mansion. Having never had much luck with guys in the sexual department, Remy decides to show the reader how good it can really be and joins her in the water.
A Moonlit Dip
The sun was just beginning to dip below the horizon, casting long shadows across the tranquil waters of the lake that nestled quietly at the edge of the X-Mansion grounds. You had slipped away from the main building, seeking a moment of solitude and perhaps a bit of refreshment in the cool water. The air was thick with the scent of pine and wildflowers, a welcome respite from the ever-present tension of mutant politics and training sessions.
As you waded into the lake, the water felt like silk against your skin, soothing the day's stresses. The gentle lapping of the waves against the shore was the only sound, save for the distant chirping of crickets preparing for nightfall. You dove under, letting the cool embrace wash over you, feeling more alive than you had all day.
Emerging from the water, you wiped the droplets from your eyes, only to find Remy LeBeau, aka Gambit, leaning casually against a nearby tree, his eyes twinkling with amusement. His usual smirk played at the corners of his lips, and he pushed off the tree, sauntering towards you. You let out an inhuman shriek, startled at seeing his face looking directly at yours. "Jesus, Gambit..." you huffed.
"Bonsoir, chérie," he drawled as he fought back the urge to laugh, his Cajun accent thickening the syllables. "Looks like I ain't the only one who knows how to find a little peace 'round here."
You felt a blush creep up your cheeks, not expecting company, especially not him. "Just needed a break," you admitted, treading water to keep yourself afloat, suddenly aware of how exposed you must look in the fading light.
Remy chuckled, removing his trench coat and tossing it aside. "Well, since you're already in d'ere, mind if Gambit join you?"
Before you could respond, he was peeling off his shirt, revealing a muscular chest that hinted at countless hours spent training and staying fit. After that came the rest of everything below the belt. Your breath caught in your throat as he stepped into the water, his eyes never leaving yours. The water seemed to part around him, as if welcoming its master back home.
"Ain't no gators in dis lake, mon cher," he teased, swimming closer. "But Remy reckon ya might have somethin' to worry 'bout anyway."
His proximity made the water feel suddenly warmer, the space between you charged with an electric tension that had been building for weeks. You remembered the lackluster dates, the guys who failed to ignite even a spark, and here was Remy, making your heart race with just a look. You'd be lying if you said you hadn't rubbed one out to just the sound of his accent alone as it filled your thoughts when you were by yourself.
"What would that be?" you managed to ask, your voice sounding faraway even to your own ears.
He closed the distance between you, his hands finding your waist beneath the water. "Me," he whispered, his lips brushing against your ear, sending shivers down your spine. "Remy seen you wit' them, chérie. Seen how d'ey couldn't hold a candle to what we could be."
His confession hung in the air, heavy and real. You turned to face him, your hands resting on his shoulders, feeling the strength beneath the smooth skin. "And what is that?" you challenged, though your voice trembled slightly.
Remy's smile was soft, almost vulnerable. "Something real, somethin' hot enough to burn away all those other cold nights." He leaned in, his lips a breath away from yours. "Let Gambit show you, belle. Lemme show you what a real man can do."
The world around you faded into insignificance as his lips met yours, soft at first, then deepening with a passion that took your breath away. His hands roamed your body, exploring, claiming, igniting fires wherever they touched. You responded in kind, your shyness melting away under his confident touch, giving in to the desire that had simmered between you both for so long.
In the water, limbs intertwined, breaths mingled, and the night seemed to hold its breath, watching the two of you explore each other with a hunger that was both new and ancient. Remy broke the kiss, trailing his lips down your neck, his hands guiding you deeper into the water, where the privacy was absolute.
"Tell Gambit whatchu want, chérie," he murmured, his voice husky with need.
You gasped as his fingers found a sensitive spot, your body arching toward his touch. "Show me," you begged, your voice breaking with emotion. "Show me everything, Remy."
With the moon as your only witness, you finally surrendered yourself to him.
With a low growl, Remy obeyed, his actions deliberate, every movement calculated to send you spiraling into pleasure. The water became an extension of his body, caressing you in ways you never imagined possible. You clung hard to him, nails digging into his skin as your world narrowed down to the sensations he elicited, the heat building within you like a dam about to break. You hissed in pleasure when he thrust even harder inside of you, feeling every inch of his hard dick throbbing inside your walls.
"Dass'it, belle," he encouraged, his voice rough with exertion. "Let go for Remy. Lemme see you fly."
And then, with a final, exquisite thrust, you did, soaring through the clouds of ecstasy, your cries mingling with his groans of satisfaction. The world came crashing back, the stars above seeming brighter, the water warmer, and Remy, more breathtaking than ever before.
He held you close, his forehead resting against yours, both of you catching your breath. "Was dat good, chérie?" he asked, his tone raw with emotion.
You nodded, unable to speak, your heart still racing from the whirlwind of sensations he had unleashed.
Remy kissed your forehead, his arms tightening around you. "We should get outta de water, cher. Night's chill settin' in."
You reluctantly had to agree.
His hand found yours as he led you out of the water, the cool night air a stark contrast to the warmth that had enveloped you moments before. The moon cast a silvery glow over the lake, making the droplets on your skin shimmer like diamonds. You shivered slightly, not from cold, but from the lingering thrill of what had just transpired between you. You'd managed to find your clothes in the dark, quickly dressing as Gambit did the same.
"Here, chere," Remy murmured, draping his coat around your shoulders. The fabric was still warm from his body, and it smelled faintly of his cologneâa mix of spice and something uniquely him. "You catch a chill, Gambit'll never forgive hisself."
You smiled up at him, feeling the weight of his concern, and more, the depth of his affection. "Thank you," you whispered, pulling the coat tighter.
He nodded, his eyes soft as they met yours. "Let's walk, yeah? Getchu warmed up proper."
Hand in hand, you strolled along the lakeside, the silence between you comfortable, filled with unspoken words. The crickets had resumed their song, and somewhere in the distance, a whippoorwill, its call echoing through the trees.
"Been wantin' to do dat for so long," Remy confessed suddenly, breaking the quiet. "Ever since dat night at the bonfire when you laughed at my terrible joke and didn't even care dat everyone else thought it was lame."
You chuckled, remembering the event he spoke of. "It wasn't that bad," you defended, though you knew he was teasing.
"Maybe not," he agreed, "but it was enough to make Remy think maybe, jus' maybe, you were different. That'chu saw me, not jus' Gambit the playboy, but Remy."
Your heart swelled at his words, the sincerity in his voice touching a place deep inside you. "I do see you," you admitted, pausing to face him under the moonlight. "All of you. The good, the bad, the Cajun charm... which I love, by the way." You'd confessed.
Remy laughed softly, his fingers brushing a strand of hair away from your face. "And here Gambit thought he was bein' subtle," he joked, though his eyes remained serious. "You deserve someone who's upfront, someone who can give you all de fire ya need, chérie."
You leaned into his touch, the vulnerability between you both palpable. "And you think that's you?" you asked, your voice barely above a whisper.
"Gambit know it is," he replied without hesitation, his gaze unwavering. "I wanna be de one to stand by your side, through thick and thin. To show you every day whatchu mean to me."
Tears pricked at your eyes, moved by his declaration. "Remy..." you breathed, searching for the right words.
He shook his head, placing a finger gently against your lips. "No need to say anything now. Jus' think about it, yeah? Let it sink in."
You nodded, understanding his request. This was a moment to savor, to reflect upon, not to rush through with hasty words.
They continued walking, the conversation lightening as Remy regaled you with tales of his youth in New Orleans, the mischief he and his friends had gotten into, and the lessons he had learned along the way. You listened intently, enchanted by his stories, by the man himself. You didn't think it was possible to fall for him even more but he had that charm all the same.
As the path wound closer to the mansion, Remy slowed his pace, his expression turning thoughtful. "Y'know, dere's somethin' I've always wanted to show you," he said, his tone mysterious.
Curiosity piqued, you looked up at him. "What's that?"
He grinned, the familiar glint of mischief returning to his eyes. "A secret spot, up in de hills. It's where I go when I need to clear my head, or jus' feel...free."
Your interest was piqued. "Sounds magical," you mused, imagining the possibilities.
"It is," he confirmed, his hand squeezing yours. "Maybe one day soon, Gambit'll take you de're. Show you de view, letchu feel de wind in your hair."
Excitement bubbled within you at the prospect of sharing such a personal place with him. "I'd like that a lot," you admitted, smiling.
As they reached the edge of the woods, the lights of the mansion peeking through the trees, Remy stopped once more, turning to face you fully. "Tonight was...incredible," he murmured, his voice thick with emotion. "Thank you for lettin' me in, chérie."
You shook your head, unwilling to accept gratitude for something so mutual, so transformative. "There's nothing to thank me for," you insisted. "It was...perfect."
His smile widened, a flash of white teeth in the darkness. "Perfect, huh? Well, maybe next time we can aim for legendary d'en," he teased, his eyes twinkling.
Laughing, you nudged him playfully. "Oh, is that so? And what would make it legendary, pray tell?"
Remy leaned closer, his breath warm against your ear. "How 'bout we find out together?" he whispered, his voice low and inviting.
Your pulse quickened at his suggestion, the promise of what could be hanging in the air between you. "I think I'd like that," you admitted, your voice catching ever so slightly.
With one last, lingering look, Remy turned towards the mansion, tugging you gently along. "C'mon, chere. Let's getchu inside before you turn into an ice sculpture. Gambit'll cook ya up somethin' to warm your soul."
You laughed, the sound carrying on the breeze as you followed him, your steps lighter than they had been in ages. As you walked, wrapped in his coat and his affections, you couldn't help but feel that perhaps, just perhaps, this was the beginning of something truly extraordinary, like the man himself.

BORDER COLLIE - boothill x reader
- you, boothill, and your daughter spend a nice morning together, allthewhile you and your husband converse about a dog.
- i don't know why i made this i just thought it would be a fun little thing idk lol. i just had to add that little bit of jazz to the end bc like yk... idk anyways i'm trynna set myself on a better posting schedule and i think im starting off strong mmm enjoy
- all fluff, tiny mention of pregnancy at the very end, pre-cyborg boothill, his daughter is still alive here and everything is normal, wc 714
You were looking out the window, out at the vast amount of farmland you and your husband, Boothill, had decided to buy when he brought home the little girl youâre now able to call your daughter.
It was a nice, big place, suitable for animals of all kinds, and very family-friendly. You were currently watching your daughter play around with a baby goat that her father decided to bring out, a smile on all three of your faces.Â
She seemed so happy, waddling around the goat, clapping her chubby little hands when the goat gave a soft little lick to her cheek. She had just learned how to walk, and had been able to say a few words for the past few months now.Â
You walked out the back door, waving at Boothill before he waved his hand as a gesture to have you over by them. While you were walking over, you could hear your daughter shout âGoat! Goat! Cute goat!â While bobbing up and down with her legs and clapping her hands. It made you laugh a little bit before leaning into your husband's side. He wraps an arm around your shoulders, rubbing your arm up and down while supervising your daughter.Â
âDada!â She squealed, giggling. Boothill ruffled her hair before leaning down to give her a kiss on her forehead, making her giggle even more. âDada and mama!â
You smiled wider than you thought you ever could have. You were so blessed to have Boothill as a husband, and such a special, precious girl as a daughter.Â
âWell, we canât really bring a goat in thâ house, nâ she seems to enjoy playinâ around with it a bunchâŠâ Boothill said, standing next to you with his arms crossed. âWhat if we got a dog?â
âReally? A dog?â You looked up at him, and he nodded. âWe have horses, goats, sheep, cows, and probably some reptiles living in the bushes. Do we really need more?â
He hummed. âThe thing is, dogs can be domestic, hun. I got lucky this lilâ goat is so docile, good enough for her to be able to hang âround it without me having to worry âbout it taking her face off.â
âTrue. But weâd need a dog that can handle farmlife, not just any old dog. A boujee dog would not do very well in this type of setting. Keep that in mind.âÂ
He laughed before shaking his head. âNah. I was thinkinâ more like a Border Collie or somethinâ. Iâd rather have one that's gonna make use of all this land.â
Your daughter came up to the both of you, lightly slapping at your legs to get your attention. You picked her up, giving Boothill a signal to go put the goat back in its respective area before meeting the two of you back inside.
A few moments later, when Boothill arrived back inside, you had lunch started, greeting him before he washed his hands and helping your daughter wash hers, too. He explained to her that sheâs always to wash her hands before and after touching an âoutside animalâ (as he calls it, so her itty bitty brain can comprehend it) otherwise she could get sick. He does the same, too.Â
You set the table for lunch, putting some leftover salad and chicken on you and Boothills plates from last night. You gave your daughter some chicken too, but cut into very small squares, and strawberries instead of salad.Â
The three of you sat down to eat, occasionally conversing about random things. She was too busy picking at her strawberries to notice your conversation, but you both still kept a close eye on her.Â
âAbout the dog idea, are you sure?â You asked, your voice laced with some uncertainty. âI feel like we already have so much on our plate. Are you really willing to walk it every morning?â
âWell, oâcourse I am. I know what havinâ a dog is like, my dads always had one. I grew up around âem.â He takes another forkful of salad before going on. âBut whyâre ya so concerned? What else is stoppinâ ya from sayinâ yes?â
You smiled before laughing to yourself, leaving him temporarily confused.Â
âWell, I want to hold off on the dog, becauseâŠ
âŠIâm pregnant.â

FUCK ME LIKE YOU WANT ME . . .
â
ridin' him ft. toji ! â
ËËâ warnings â. đ Ë cowgirl, mean toji, p in v, unprotected (wrap it before you tap it), cigarette, alcohol.
as he stared at the ceiling out of boredom, toji exhaled a thick cloud of grey smoke. his emerald green eyes drifted closed and he sighed, almost as if he were searching to find solace but couldn't, because something was preventing him from doing so.
satirically, that something was you.
ângh, toji...â you breathed out, although with difficulty. âplease... 'm really trying my hardest...â you managed to speak. your pitifully small hands gripped at his broad shoulders to find a semblance of support. the sight almost made him want to coo at you. but you both knew it'd be a sneering coo.
he took another slow, lazy drag of his cigarette. âyeah ?â he asked, watching you with keen eyes. his words were coming out muffled as his lips were still wrapped around the tip of the cigarette. âyour hardest, huh ? let me laugh. 's not enough, dollie.â he exhaled, blowing the smoke in your face, his chest rumbling with laughter as he saw you cough.
you were trying, really. but toji was simply a laborious man to please.
you resumed your movements, and driven by a surge of energy, you became more vigorous. your meaty ass was slapping against the thick skin of his thighs as he continued to watch you with a disinterested expression. âstill not enough, baby. c'mon. do better than that.â
his other hand lifted and soon enough, his lips met the bottleneck of his beer.
you despised how casual he was about the whole situation. you were putting your blood, sweat, and tears into riding him but here he was, almost judging you.
he stared at you with a detached expression, almost as if he was watching a mildly interesting show. âc'mon, girl. you really think you're doin' a good job here ?â he scoffed, flicking some ash from the burning cigarette in the ashtray on the armrest of the couch. âseems like you're slackin' a bit, tonight.â
you felt like you were merely wasting his time. he looked amused, perhaps even condescending.
âi was expecting more from you, sweet thing. somethin' fun, yeah ? not this bullshit.â he was beginning to get annoyed by your pitiful attempt at pleasing him.
his voice was flat, emotionless, still staring at you with a mixture of frustration and disappointment. âthis isn't exactly what i had in mind when i thought 'bout spendin' the night with you, y'know ?â his eyes never left yours, even as the smoke he exhaled swirled in the air.
you sniffled softly, shame eating away at your body. âtoji... 'm sorry...â you felt small under his cold gaze. "sorry, huh ?" he scoffed. "doesn't change the fact that you're doin' a shitty job tonight." he looked bored.
you doubled your efforts for the umpteenth time, soft cunnie sucking him in, along with the obscene amount of slickness that surrounded his cock. ây'know, doll, 'm really getting bored watching you struggle like a damn dyin' fish out of water." he clicked his tongue as you slid a shaky hand in his dark hair. âi can get off better with my own hand.â
you stopped again and took a deep breath before shifting on top of him. you planted your knees on the couch, on each side of his thighs. instead of placing your hands on his shoulders, you put them behind him, gripping the couch. you resumed your movements, pussy clenching around his girthy cock.
he grunted lowly, the first sign of emotion he'd shown since the whole thing started. he finally finished his cigarette and his beer, which allowed him to rest his arms on the back of the sofa. âthere we go, that's a little better.â he stated with a heavy sigh.
he watched the tip of your tongue rest between your pink lips as you concentrated. he cocked an eyebrow in mild amusement. âthat's more like it...â he chuckled. âc'mon, keep going. you ain't done yet.â
your cute little pussy squeezed his shaft tightly, earning a groan from him. âwell,â he sighed. âthat's better...â you mewled softly beside his ear, feeling the family bubble in your lower tummy tighten. âtoji, 'm gonna come...â as your voice reached his ears, he chuckled. âyeah ? already ?â
as you nodded, he began playing with your throbbing clit. âdon't know if i should give you a reward or punish you. might do both later.â he glanced down at the spot where your bodies joined, watching shamelessly. his pubic hair was soaked. âtoji... toji...â you breathed.
"cum f' me." he blurted. you gasped as a sudden, intense wave of pleasure washed over your body. your dirty little cunnie tightened around his cock as you came. âoh...â you whined, swollen bottom lip caught between your teeth.
as you finally came down from your high, your pretty eyes fluttered open. toji had been watching with a lazy smirk, resting his massive hands on your plushy hips. "i didn't cum, lil' one. you gotta try harder."
shit.

DATE: JULY 24, 2023
summary: you and harry are best friends who tell each other everything. or so you thought. when harry finds out youâve barely done anything sexual, he offers to change that. and then things get a little⊠personal.
song: Glitch- taylor swift (this song seems fitting)
words: 6.5k
warnings: SMUT (f- receiving [rubbing, fingering, nipple play, praise kink], mirror sex, cum tasting??, dirty talk), and language.
note: i literally wrote this in a few days i think. this idea is so basic, but who doesnât love a clichĂ© concept? PART 2
bestfriend!fratrry x inexperienced!reader (because i literally write no one else and fratrry is the love of my life)
â
Harry had a lot of friends. People that he grew up with and some that he met along the way that just stayed. But you were his number one overall, and he told you everything. You told him everything too.
Well, almost everything.
It never really caught his attention that you guys never talked about sex. You guys have been friends for 15 years, since you were five, so youâd think it would have been brought up at least once. But now that Harry thinks about it, he canât think of one time youâve talked about the act.
He didnât think it would be like this. And he didnât think youâd answer like that.
You and Harry were casually hanging out on a free school day, just like you always do. And then you start talking about this date you went on and how the guy was great. Harry was happy for you, he really was. All he wanted was to see his best friend happier than happy. However, being the best friend he was, he was nagging and joking with you.
âThink heâs the one, eh?â Harry jokes, nudging your shoulder playfully on your couch.
âOh, stop it. Donât get ahead of yourself,â You roll your eyes and cross your arms. Yeah, Mike seemed like a decent guy and maybe you could have a relationship for a short time, but he was nowhere near âthe one.â
You werenât too desperate for a relationship, you liked whatever came to you. This cute guy asked you on a date a week ago and you werenât going to say no. Because what if he was the one? He wasnât, but what if?
âImagine it, Doll,â Harry started. He began calling you Doll when you two were just kids. You loved to collect dolls of all sorts, but you never dared to take them out of the box. Harry thought it was silly, but also cool. âpicket white fence, beautiful lake house. Kids runninâ âroundââ
He saw your face cringe at the word kids. He tilted his head in confusion, arm moving to rest behind you on the couch. He scoots closer to you and waits for you to respond.
âNo kids for me,â You awkwardly chuckle. It seemed almost sad the way you sounded.
âWhat? Thought you wanted to be a mum?â
âNot anymore,â You breathed out with an awkward smile, âneed a husband to do that.â
âDonât worry âbout getting a husband. Shouldnât stop you from wanting âem,â Harry smiled sincerely at you and you nodded while looking down.
âPlus, you could always just go out on the street and ask some good-lookinâ lad to be the father of your kids!â You socked Harry hard in the shoulder. He lets out a hearty laugh because he always ruins a sweet moment with a stupid joke. Thatâs just how you like it though.
âIâm not a prostitute!â
âNever said thaâ.â
âCan we just watch some TV? Youâre annoying me,â You roll your eyes as you reach for the remote. Harry continues to laugh as you switch the television on.
When youâre indecisive, you toss the remote to Harry and he shuffles through the stations. He lands on a random one, also indecisive. You guys were too similar sometimes.
âLook on your phone for somethinâ and then Iâll find it. Iâm done searching.â
âYou looked for like two seconds!â You laughed at his laziness. He shrugs with a smile, leaning into the couch. Again, you roll your eyes playfully before doing a bit of research on your phone.
Suddenly, a moan echoes throughout your living room and your whole body stiffens up. Harry notices and tears his eyes away from the screen, which was portraying the sexy noises. You donât look at him even though you can feel his eyes burning into you.
âAlright?â he asked out of concern, peering at your rigidness. Heâs only ever seen you get like that when you were anxious or scared, but nothing happened. Maybe you saw something scary on your phone?
âUh, yeah,â You squeaked as the TV moaned again. Your face cringes and you force yourself to keep your eyes on your phone.
âY/N, seriously,â Harry stares between you and the screen when she noisily moans again. The woman was being eaten out by the man and was being overly loud. Her back was arching and her breasts were on display. The movie was inappropriate, 18+ for sure, but it was nothing you hadnât seen before. Right? You were both 21 years old.
âThis⊠just makes me a tad uncomfortable is all,â You answered honestly, voice quiet as your legs tightened together. Harryâs eyebrows pursed together.
âUncomfortable? Why?â he couldnât help the question that slipped out of his mouth. He was too curious to know why a little movie made you stiff yet fidgety.
Unless⊠you were feeling something different than uncomfortable.
âNo,â You shook your head and attempted to push yourself off the couch. Harry didnât hesitate to grab your wrist and pull you back. He didnât want you to run away and for you to feel like you couldnât tell him something.
âJust tell me.â
âNo,â You stood your ground, way too embarrassed to say something. Way too embarrassed to admit that youâve never had sex before. Way too embarrassed to admit youâve never done anything more than rub your own clit. Once. And it didnât even feel that good.
Your skin was fiery and⊠tingly. Harry was much closer to you than he previously was because he pulled you closer to him. Your bare thighs were touching, warm on warm with a sudden spark. You didnât know you werenât breathing until you inhaled deeply at Harryâs hooking stare.
âDoll, you tell me everything, but you canât tell me why a little porn makes you uncomfortable? Because I know itâs thaâ.â
âUgh,â You groaned between clenched teeth. You threw your head back until it hit the top of the couch. Harryâs grip on your wrist never left you. He squeezed it reassuringly, letting you know that he supports you in whatever youâre going to say.
Are you really about to say it?
âY/N, justââ
âNo.â
âI thought we were best friendsââ
âDo not pull that card!â
âButââ
âIâve never had sex before, okay?â You shouted over Harryâs pleading voice and the echoing moans from the television. Youâd think by the time you had a whole argument theyâd be done having sex, but nope.
Harry was cut off, so his mouth was slacked open. Once he realizes his jaw is on the floor, he blinks a few times to really process what youâve said. If you had told anyone else, they would have harshly judged you. Harry wasnât necessarily too different, but he was your best friend, and he was going to try his hardest not too. Harry was just more shocked if anything. He had a handful of different bodies, enough to give him a good amount of experience. So when he finds out youâve done nothing, heâs beyond surprised to his core.
âBut youâve had so many dates,â Harry looks over at your face, which was looking down at your lap. Your wrist was still trapped in his hand, but you were twiddling your thumbs like you were in trouble. He starts rubbing reassuring circles with his thumb over your knuckle. Your skin was so hot, and Harryâs theory of you being turned on continued in his mind.
Did you even know what that meant? You were naive, right?
âSo? That doesnât mean anything,â Your attitude was shining through. But deep down, you were more embarrassed than anything. This was just your coping mechanism. And of course, Harry knew that.
âSurely youâve done something else,â Harry suggests. You pin him with a knowing look and a long blink.
âI havenât,â You answered before even hearing his question. He clearly doesnât care about your reply because heâs asking you a series of interrogation questions.
âHave you had someone eat you outââ Harry points to the screen, but it was on a commercial break now. You got the point, but Harry clearly didnât.
âNo,â You grumbled.
âWhat about fingeringââ
âNo.â
âA toy?â
âWhere would I even buy that?â
âOrââ
âNo, Harry. Nothing.â
âNot even rubbing?â he asks. You stay quiet, unsure if you want to admit the one-time experiment you did.
Why does it even matter? You tried it and you realized you donât like it, so you never have to do it again right?
âNot⊠really,â You hesitated. His eyebrows furrowed in confusion while your skin burned at boiling temperature.
âHumping?â
âNoâI tried toâŠâ You couldnât get the words out. Not ever youâd think. But especially not with Harry so close to you. His body was warm, not as warm as yours, but it was eliciting something inside of you that you couldnât comprehend. The way he nonchalantly said so many dirty things made you dizzy.
âTried to what?â Harry was thinking of so many things you could say. He wanted to finish your sentence, just like how he wanted to finish you until you were crying his name and soaking him. But he wanted to hear you say it. Heâs never thought of you in such an explicit way, but with the words and tension floating in the air it was hard not to.
ââŠdo it myself.â
âAnd how did that work out, Doll?â
âUm,â You didnât expect him to ask. Your neck and cheeks light up in small flames. Where did this come from? âIâŠâ
âWhat? I thought you could tell me anything?â When your eyes flickered up to his, they were a dark, swirling green youâve never seen on his face before. Your heart skipped a dangerous beat, frightened with anticipation.
âI know, I can. But this⊠itâs different.â
âHow so?â
âItâs personalââ
âBest friends are personal.â
âBut not like this. Best friends donât do this,â You tried to get up again, nearly ripping yourself away from his grip. But you were in too deep now. Harry wasnât going to let this one slide. His mind was thinking about one thing and one thing only.
You.
He yanks you back and twirls you around, releasing your wrist in the process. He grabs you by the hips and pulls you down to his lap. You couldnât contain the slight gasp you let out at the feeling of his strong legs beneath you. Your legs were on either side of him, tempting to squeeze shut. Every movement you made Harry would feel in this position.
âBest friends can say anything. They can do anything too,â Harryâs hands caress your thighs. Theyâre comforting and inviting, but are also sending a field of goosebumps along your skin warning you to flee. Itâs hard to focus on anything but his touch and the vibration of his words through the air. âNow, tell me, did you rub yourself?â
âYes,â You stutter, trying to stop your hips from squirming on his lap. He notices and grips one side of your body to steady you. It only makes you want to shift more. His touch was almost overwhelming, but you wanted more of it.
Was it wrong to want more of your best friendâs touch?
âDid it feel good?â
âNo,â A part inside of you was a bit disappointed that it felt so bland. You thought masturbation was this great thing, and thatâs why people did it so frequently. You heard it was also a stress-reliever, but for you, it was just a stress-inducer. Harry could tell by your tone that you werenât lying.
âWell, you probably werenât doing it right,â Harry replies and you look up at him with a slightly startled expression and a scoff. You didnât expect his response to be so straightforward, like he was a doctor diagnosing you with some disease.
âHow could I do it wrong? Donât I just rubâŠ?â
âBaby, itâs much more than that,â Harry said sincerely. Heâs never called you baby before, but the nickname had your heart jumping. âWere you even wet?â
âWhat? Iâprobably? I donât rememberâŠâ
âYou would remember.â
âThe experience wasnât very memorable,â You grumble with an eye roll.
âDo you want me to show you?â
His question had your head spiraling. He wanted to what? There is no way. There is no way those words just left Harry, your best friendâs, mouth.
âW-what? Thatâs way too personal!â Your eyes were wide and your skin was burning. You were nearly dizzy with this whole conversation and your stomach was tight. You thought you might need to lie down for a while.
Maybe you were sick. Yeah, thatâs it.
âBest friends are personal, Doll. Just let me show you, yeah? And then we never have to talk about it again. If yâdonât want. Please,â Harryâs charm was convincing you. Everything about him was luring you in, completely different than ever before. The way his eyes was dark and his touch was warm made you feel wanted and needed, which was contrary to your past dates. They didnât look at you this way, nearly beg for you this way. They didnât show you anything. They wanted you because they wanted to get their dick wet, but they hated the idea of a virgin.
And Harryâs familiar. Heâs safe. You donât have to be afraid when youâre with him. But then why are you so nervous?
Harry was willing to teach you how to do the one thing youâve been curious about your whole life, and youâre going to pass up the opportunity, why? Because heâs your best friend?
Isnât that supposed to make it better?
âOkay, fine,â You inhaled as your hands gripped onto his T-shirt on his shoulders. You had convinced yourself to let the words slip out. âShow me.â
You were agreeing almost as if this wasnât a big deal for you. But to Harry, it was. He would take your firsts, and something about that filled him with pride. A smirk slowly rides up on his lips, âNow?â
A blush cascades through your body. Of course he didnât mean right now!
âI-I thought you meantââ
âShh, relax, Doll. I was just makinâ sure,â he smirks again, pulling you closer to him. He loved watching you get all squirmy and flustered more than he thought. You could feel his body heat more than ever now, and youâre surprised you lasted this long on his lap without dying. âIâm going to give you a few options, okay?â
With anxiousness, you nodded and swallowed.
âWhen we do this, you have to talk. So use your words, Y/N,â You knew he was being serious when he said your name, so you replied with yes and then he was giving you your options.
âSo, I can lay you down right here on the couch and show you how to rub your little clit,â his explicit words were making your privates ache, but it wasnât painful. It kind of felt⊠good? You felt a foreign liquid dampen your underwear, and you can only assume thatâs the wetness Harry was talking about. âOr, you can do it yourself on mâthigh with my help. Which one sounds like something yâwant to do?â
âThe first one,â You answered, painfully desperate to squeeze your legs together to stop this ache. âBut how will I see what youâre doing?â
Harry thought for a moment. You made a good point. How were you supposed to learn simply from feeling? Harry knew you were a bit of a visual learner, so he wanted to make sure you saw how to pleasure yourself correctly. And he knew the perfect way to do that.
âI actually have a third option. But sânot really a choice anymore,â Harry doesnât say anything after, he just lifts himself and you off the couch without warning. You wrap your arms and legs around his body like a koala, making sure you donât fall. His warmth encompasses you back and you wish you could just stay there forever.
Familiar. Safe.
When your head peers up from his shoulder, youâre in his bathroom. Your eyebrows pinch together, curious as to what his third choice was.
He sets you down on the floor until your feet are planted. You unwrap your arms from him, still confused.
âDo you trust me, Y/N?â Harryâs eyes were still dark, and you wondered if they would ever go back to the strong, emerald green they used to be.
âYes, of course,â You didnât hesitate to answer. There was no one that you trusted more than Harry that wasnât in your bloodline.
âOkay,â Harry breathes, âStrip fâme. Keep your bra and underwear on.â
You nearly questioned him in shock. But then you remembered what the whole goal of this was. He was going to show you how and you were going to listen, right? So you did.
Carefully, you stripped yourself of your clothes. Heâs seen you in bathing suits before, and some were revealing, so this canât be as bad, right? Harry didnât peel his eyes away although you wanted him to. He hasnât seen you naked since you two were little kids, and even though you werenât naked, it felt like you were with his burning gaze. Obviously, there were some changes too. Like height, hair, breasts, ass⊠the whole thing. Harry doesnât say anything until youâre in your undergarments.
A swimsuit is definitely different.
âGood. Now, câmere,â Harry sits down on the floor, a few feet away from his full-body mirror. His body was up against the bathtub wall to keep himself steady. You slowly lowered yourself to the floor, wondering what was going on through his head.
He pulls you between his legs until youâre pressed against his body. His warmth radiated through you far better with less clothes on and your body ached some more. Your legs closed to squeeze it away.
âNuh uh,â he declines. Harry grips your thighs with his ringed fingers and yanks them apart. You gasp at the extreme vulnerability and the coolness that waves over your privates. He throws your legs over his and bends them slightly, making you unable to move at all. âKeep them open, yeah?â
You nodded, but thatâs not what he told you to do.
âWords.â
âYes. Keep them open.â
âGood girl. Youâre learning,â Harry smiled and looked towards the mirror. His eyes instantly zoomed in on the growing wet patch on the front of your cotton panties, and he couldnât help but smirk. He saw and felt your body squirming similarly like how you were on his lap. Heâs had a rock-hard cock since this conversation started, so heâs not surprised if you can feel his hard-on poking your back through his shorts.
His hands rested on your knees as you watched him in the mirror. The entirety of it all was extremely erotic, like something that would be on TV.
âIf you like something, tell me. If you hate something, tell me. Itâs important that you do so, okay? It helps both of us learn.â
âOkay,â You were nearly shaking with anticipation. You were so nervous, but why? Itâs just Harry. Itâs just Harry. âI kind of like when you say Iâm doing a good job. Makes me feel⊠nice.â
âYeah?â Harry tried to conceal the smirk that threatened to rise on his lips. Of course his best friend, who happened to be the most innocent person in the world, had a praise kink. It just made too much sense. âLike when I call you a good girl?â
You sighed and nodded, but Harry didnât say anything this time. He just kept going.
One of his hands rested on your knee, tracing delicate circles. He stayed in the same spot, for god knows how long, and you wondered when he would do something. He seemed to be in a trance. He was hyper-focusing on every centimeter with those circles, and although you were getting impatient, you felt cared for.
One of his hands snakes to your chest and rubs your nipple through your bra. Just when you were about to protest, his fingers moved a tad lower. The roughness of his pads tickled your skin just right and caused your thighs to squirm. It was entertaining for Harry to watch you get all squirrely from such a simple touch.
Heâs going to have fun with you.
âIt⊠tickles,â You observe as your eyes look down at his fingers, very gradually moving closer to that ache in between your legs. You felt like a kid exploring a new world for the first time; naive and curious.
âWhat does?â
âYour fingers,â You stare at him in the mirror almost as if heâs stupid. What else would tickle?
âDoes this tickle?â Harryâs knuckle brushes the inside of your thighs, lower than heâs been. You inhale at the subtle sensitivity.
âNot much,â You answer, and his knuckle continues to sway leisurely. Your breath picks up, rising faster at his handâs proximity.
âWhat about this?â His index finger traces the hem of your panties with purpose. You gasp when he gets deep in between your legs, outlining your cunt with ease. Your legs attempt to shut with a shake, shying away from the vulnerability, but itâs impossible with his strong legs prying you open.
âA-a little.â
âAnd this?â
As if his touch could be anymore teasing, he finally dances along your clothed cunt, tracing your lips with curiosity of how youâd react. A mix of a sigh and a moan wavers out of you unintentionally, hips pushing closer towards his finger. Your mind blanks, light and fuzzy. Your face immediately falls to gaze at his movements, attracted to the air-headed feeling.
âEyes on the mirror,â Harry demands while delicately caressing you. It was ironic, really. His voice was so rough and stoic while his touch was ever so gentle. With a few blinks, you're focusing in on the mirror, obeying his command. âHow does this feel? Does it tickle?â
âGood, and yes,â You swallow your moan as his finger keeps petting you lightly. You were almost getting used to it, but you wanted more. âIs this what I was supposed to do?â
âSort of. This is called foreplay. Heard of thaâ?â
âI think so?â You were breathless.
âSâbasically where I get you all wet and ready fâme. You like that?â
âL-love and hate relationship right now,â You pant as his finger rises away from your weeping, covered hole and travels up to your clit. You choke out a gasp as he strokes it nonchalantly.
âOh,â Your hand drops to his thigh, gripping it strongly as your body begins to tingle. You strain your neck to keep your eyes on the mirror ahead of you, trying to watch how he does it.
His familiar smirk never fades from his face, cheeks a tad rosy from the heat waving between you two. His wrist is probably sore from the tedious, repeated movements he does. His thick fingers delicately circle your covered clit, applying generous pressure until youâre panting.
âMore. I think I need more,â You suggest when his pace stays a consistent speed. You needed to feel his fingers on your bare skin. If he was going to touch you, you wanted him to just do it already.
âYâthink?â Harryâs tone was taunting yet serious. He wanted you to be firm with what you wanted. He didnât want you to second-guess your own pleasure. If you needed more, you needed to tell him that. The best way for that to happen was for him to train you. âBeg for it.â
As your head becomes floaty with the stimulation, you donât even hesitate to throw out pleads.
âPlease, Harry. I-I need it, need more,â Your head slowly falls back onto his shoulder before his touch is gone. âWhaââ
Harry couldnât take it anymore. He needed to see you. All of you. He needed to see what he did to you, and if you were really as desperate as you seemed. As shocking as this all may be to you, it was just as shocking to Harry. He couldnât believe he was this turned on from his best friendâs inexperience. Heâs always liked when a girl knew what she was doing and knew how to reciprocate. But something about Harry teaching you and showing you the ropes just fills him with a kind of power and pride that he canât get from anywhere else. And heâs feasting off of it.
âMâgonna take these off, alright?â
âEverything? O-okay,â He unclipped your bra as you slowly slid down your panties. The tile beneath you was colder than before, but Harryâs warm body behind you kept you comforted.
âHave you heard of the traffic light system?â he asks, hands resting gently on your bare shoulders. He gets straight into the safety part first. It also distracts him from ogling your naked figure against him. He could feel his cock twitch in his briefs at your fluttering pussy and peaked nipples.
âI assume you donât mean the ones used for driving?â You both chuckle and break some of the swollen tension in the room. It was a nice little reminder that itâs just Harry.
âNo, Doll. The one for safety and consent,â he chuckled.
âYeah, no, Iâve never heard of it.â
âIf you say red, Iâll stop instantly and ask what made yâred. Communication is key. If yâsay yellow, Iâll slow down and ask you again. And then we can either continue or stop, whatever yâwant. But if your color is green, Iâll keep going. Understand, love?â
There was a lot of information, but you were able to keep up. It was actually similar to the traffic light system, which makes the name very fitting. You reply with a firm yes to note that you understand.
All while he was talking and explaining everything, you were getting used to looking at yourself in the mirror. You werenât always confident in your body, but staring at it in between Harryâs made you feel safe and sexy somehow.
Before your mind can wander too far, Harryâs hands are falling down until theyâre at your nipples. His rough fingers lightly pinch the already-hard buds until youâre pushing up into his touch. The warmth and the nakedness made you overly flushed all over. He gropes your breasts with care, slyly sliding another hand down lower.
Throughout this entire process, youâve been soaking; in your underwear, in your shorts, and now on his bathroom tile. Your lower body has been throbbing in desire to be aided, and Harry seems to know just what you need.
His fingers hover right above your mound thatâs screaming for him to go lower. Your heart rams against your chest in anticipation of his bare hands on your bare body, on your most sacred and vulnerable parts. No one has ever touched you beside yourself. A small part inside of you was glad that the first person was Harry because you knew you wouldnât regret it.
Right?
âStop thinking sâmuch,â he says, rubbing a warm palm over your belly. His face moves your head, so his lips can kiss your temple reassuringly. You slightly arch your back, so maybe he could see how desperate you are. Your legs were still spread by his, so you know he can see your wetness. If you can see it, so can he. âJust let me show you how itâs done.â
âOkay, Mr. Cocky,â You roll your eyes as he shifts your hair behind your ear, âWhat if I donât even like it?â
âThe name is very fitting. But thatâs for a different day,â he says with a cocky smirk on his face. Now that sounds like something Harry would say. But your entire face gets warm and your head gets a little fuzzy when you actually imagine it. âand you will. Trust me.â
You take a deep breath. You werenât sure how far you guys were going to go, but youâve never felt more ready and more safe. With the system Harry told you about and all his reassurance, it was clear that even if he was teaching you, you were the one that had all the control.
âNow watch me.â
With those words his hand turns into just one finger and resumes on your clit. You gasp into the air as your body jolts. The roughness of his thumb paints your arousal over and over on your skin.
âThis little thing is important. Donât neglect it.â
His rhythm is slow and tedious as he circles the nub. You see and feel him dip down to collect some more of your wetness as he continues stroking you.
âHowâs this? Color?â he gruffs in your ear while staring at you darkly in the mirror. You could barely understand him because you were panting embarrassingly and trying your hardest to focus on the reflecting glass in front of you.
âGood! Waitâgreen,â You corrected yourself as a moan elicited from you, his touch feeling even better each second.
âGood girl.â
âFuck,â You feel yourself clench around nothing but your own wetness at his words. You both watch as the liquid quenches out of your dripping hole, making Harry groan from behind you.
âDo yâthink you can handle one finger? Hm?â his voice rolls perfectly into your ear as he twists your peaked nipple. You couldnât control your moans at the pleasure. His voice sounded just as good as the feeling of his hands.
âYes, yes. Harry, please,â You nearly cried from how bad you needed it. You didnât even know you needed it this bad. You thought you were going to hate this feeling, but youâre far from it.
âSo submissive, so responsive,â Harryâs middle finger pushes against your hole, teasing the opening. You hold your breath as he makes you wait. âBreathe, Doll. Relax.â
Your eyes close for a moment. You breathe deep and feel your limbs lose their sudden tenseness. Before you can open them again, Harryâs finger is slotting inside of you easily. A gasp falls from your mouth as your hand grips on his meaty thigh for support.
âO-oh.â The feeling was insane. Intense. Nearly overwhelming. You clenched around his digit, consuming and caging it like it would fade away.
Youâre so tight around him, he swears his finger might fall off. Harryâs cock is pulsing and pleading behind your back, but you donât seem to notice. Heâs making sure he doesnât rut into you, but itâs so difficult when youâre all spread out and submissive for him.
Heâs never thought of you like this, but fuck, now he canât think of you any other way.
âColor, Doll?â Harry grumbles in your ear, voice low and breathy as it fans over your skin warmly.
âGreen. Whatâs more than green? B-blue? Justâdonïżœïżœïżœt stopâGod,â Your squeaky voice rambled as his finger pumped in and out slowly. You can hear his smile behind your screwed eyes. The pad of his thumb rubbed delicate circles over your throbbing clit to escalate the pleasure.
Your chest was beating fast when your legs started to shake. Your hips bucked closer to his hands, needing more as you chase the glorious feeling.
âLook at you, takinâ me so well,â Harry praises, subtly curling his finger as your back arches. You know that one finger isnât a lot, barely anything, but you were melting at the praise that Harry gave you. His constant encouragement is what made you putty in his hands. Literally.
âHarry,â You moaned into the heated air, causing Harry to groan desperately behind you. And youâre not too stupid to deflect that Harry might be turned on from the scene unfolding. If you knew more, if you knew better, you would have offered to help him after. But you were inexperienced, and you assumed he wouldnât want someone to give him head who could possibly bite his dick off.
âAre you close, baby? Hm? Gonna come for the first time on my hand?â
âY-yes! Please,â You begged as you climbed your high, wondering what the top would feel like if the chase was this blissful.
Your head falls restlessly on his shoulder while his right hand keeps focusing on your cunt. It was covered in your arousal as his pace picked up. The stimulation was almost too much, your body wanted to push away. But your mind was pleading to feel a release you know your body needed.
âIs it gonna h-hurt?â You groaned as your cunt clenched around him again, stomach tensing. A strong rush you assumed could only be an orgasm was approaching you all too fast.
âNo, Doll. Itâs gonna feel real good,â He twisted your nipple again, pushing you over the edge. You felt his thumb and index pinch your clit, causing you to scream his name against his chest. âLook in the mirror. Watch yourself fall apart fâme. Watch and make sure this time is memorable.â
You always thought Harry had a way with words. You never thought that about dirty talking though. His hands were as skillful as can be, and maybe one day youâll be able to make yourself feel as good as he made you feel. But his words are something that youâll never be able to treat yourself with. You donât think youâll ever meet another person whose voice is as fitting as Harryâs.
With his demanding tone, you came right over the edge. An overwhelming ripple of pleasure ceased through your body, shaking your legs to the max. Soundless moans and clawing nails were all you were capable of as you came on his large hand. Although you were straining, you never took your eyes off of the mirror. He told you to look at yourself as you came, but you were only staring at the glaring green eyes reflecting back at you. He rubbed all of your orgasm until you were trembling from overstimulation.
Just when you thought he was done, he raised his ringed hand to his mouth and tasted you. You thought that was something that they only did porn or movies. You swallowed intensely as his hum vibrated through you.
âDo you always⊠taste it?â
âIf I think itâll taste good,â he smirked as you scooted forward to grab your shirt. As you throw it over your head, you just had to ask.
âDid mine taste any good?â You slightly cringed as you asked the question. Does cum usually taste good? What does it even taste like?
His smirk widens, a hint of evilness rising, âdo you want to find out?â
Your skin flushes even against the chilling tile. Your heart skips a beat at trying yourself. You hadnât ever thought of it before. But youâve come (literally) this far tonight, so why not just take it a little further?
âO-okay,â You slowly lift up your shirt, revealing your fucked-out cunt to him again. âSo I justâŠ?â
âMay I?â he suggests.
âYes.â
Two of Harryâs fingers swipe over your cunt, which was still covered in a mix of your arousal and cum. You jolted from the stimulation, tensing quickly before his touch was gone.
âOpen,â and without thinking, you do. Your mouth falls open as his fingers lay flat on your tongue. Salty and creamy, it spreads over your tastebuds. You hummed around his fingers just like he did because it tasted good. Yeah, it was a bit odd, but once you got past that, you realized how erotic and sexy it was. âHowâs it taste?â
After a bit of suckling on his digits, he puts them out way too soon for your liking. âGood, actually.â You creak from your dry throat.
âI think so too. Letâs clean you up real quick.â
Still sitting on the floor, a warm, wet towel soothes your sensitiveness as he wipes away all of your liquids. A smile broke out on his face when he finished before his hand landed on top of your head. He shook your hair like crazy until it was already wilder than it was. The action was childlike and friendly, almost as if everything between you guys never happened and you were back to square one. It was better that way, though. Right? To just go back to how everything used to be?
Harry grabs the small hand towel and exits his bathroom. You assume he went to discard it and add it to his laundry, but you just sat there in oblivion. You already missed his touch, longing for something you shouldâve never even had in the first place. He was the one that offered himself to teach you, but now youâve been taught, so where do you guys go now? Are you really supposed to just go back to the way it was?
He saw you in ways that no one else has before. You always thought that you would be intimate and have your groups of firsts with someone that you were dating, someone that you loved. Because of this, you realized that Harry was the safe option. Doing this with Harry changed your views on everything, and your body, heart, and mind couldnât keep up with the rapid reversal.
You knew that Harry had a few notches in his belt. But were they all from relationships or just one-night stands? You didnât know because you two rarely ever discussed the topic. Was it easy for Harry to go from girl to girl? Or did he get attached like you?
If there was one thing you always feared from sex and sexual doings, it was the intense attachment. You had heard about the infamous addiction intimacy laces within your veins that makes you crave a person. Now that youâve been with Harry, that wonât happen to you, right?
Youâve known Harry forever, yet youâve never craved him. Heâs your best friend, and youâve never seen him as more than that. If it was anyone else, youâd probably lose all control because you have no significant relationship with them. It would be easy to latch onto anybody because it would be easy to lose them too. Harry, on the other hand, was not easy to lose.
The last thing you want is to convince yourself of anything. You donât want to âcraveâ Harry just because you saw something about an article online about âsexual chemicals fusing.â You couldnât. No, it was too risky.
Youâve known Harry forever, so you couldnât lose him forever too.
âI think I found a good movie to watch!â Harryâs voice echoes from his living room and all the way into the bathroom where you havenât moved a muscle. Your overthinking was louder than itâs ever been. With a shaky breath, you rise from the tiles and stare at your disheveled appearance in the mirror. The same mirror you watched Harry finger fuck you with.
âBe out there in a second!â You shout back as your heart beats rapidly from his heartwarming voice laughing loudly at something. You clutched your chest, wondering why the fuck you were feeling the organ lurch for him in a way that wasnât meant for him.
You knew that it was way too fucking personal.

âââââ RICH.áREADER struggles with showing love.
NOTES ,, might do a tag list specifically for skater!matt and rich!reader if anyone.... is interested... this is just fluff but i think theyre so cute <3.
you don't really know how to show affection towards those you like or love without spending money. you're so used to others doing it for themâyour parents throwing a couple of expensive clothes or jewellery at you for your birthday, your friends taking you out to lavish restaurants as a gift as opposed to something homemade or actually thought out. of course, you like all of those things, who wouldn't? but.. they don't know how to not spend money on those you love.
you don't understand the saying, 'money doesn't buy happiness'. it's managed to make you happy your entire life, so how's that supposed to work? like.. it doesn't make sense. so when matt's birthday's coming up, well, you immediately knew you were gonna buy him something nice and take him somewhere expensive.
but you can't help but think that maybe that's not the best course of action, that matt wouldn't exactly want the generic rich kid birthday starter pack. he's got three siblings, damn it, maybe he'd want something a little more.. meaningful? he's probably seen a few birthday dinners at expensive resturaunts in his time, you doesn't want it to be boring for him. you wanted to make an impact, even if you didn't know how.
it gets to a point where you're stumped, completely. you know matt so well, but are so stuck in your old ways and so used to just shelling out some cash for one day only to do it again and again annually, that coming up with anything that he wanted seemed impossible.
a new skateboard? surely he had enough. protective gear? now that was just comical. you hated the feeling of not being able to come up with a meaningful gift to give him. sure, you two aren't dating, but you're close enough to constitute a gift, right? it pisses you off to no end, to the point of upset. you practically storm into matt's room, having been let in by chris when he saw how distraught you were. "you're so fucking hard to please! how am i supposed to get you a gift for your birthday when, whenâ"
matt's taken off guard. first of all, how'd you get in? he's assuming it was one of his brothers who'd let you in, but.. second of all, you're so upset. he'd thought he'd done something wrong but you're yelling at him about a gift? his birthday? he blinks for a minute, sitting up, "hey, hey, hey," he starts, frowning. the sight of you so upset makes his heart ache in the worst way possible. getting up from his bed, his gaze rakes over you.
it's appreciative, of course, but also concerned. "you're scarin' me, sweetheart, what's goin' on?" he mumbles, taking a little step closer as he reaches out for you. gently, he places his hands on your arms and draws you a little closer. you look up at him with glassy eyes, a little wet with tears that you try to blink away as to not seem weak or make your mascara run. "stop bein' all.." you don't know what you're protesting against, you really don't.
"all what?" his brows furrow a minute, a small, faint smile ghosting his lips. it only serves to make you a little more upset with how caring he is to you, even when you're a bit of a bitch to him sometimes. hey, he's a bitch in return too.
"all nice. we're supposed to fuck 'n' be all passionate, that kinda thing," you mumble under your breath, lashes fluttering as your eyes lift to his. matt feels a warmth flood his chest and he shakes his head, "don't even want you thinkin' 'bout that whilst you're feelin' like this," he murmurs quietly, tone firm but soft. "you gonna tell me what's up, orâ'cause we can just watch a movie or somethin'." as much as he was passionate with your body, he was passionate with your heart too.
"wanted to get you something nice for your birthday, yeah? like.. something you'd enjoy, not some shit you'd say you like and then never use ever again," you start to explain, relaxing a little at the touch on your arms finally and melting your way against him. he hums for a moment, slowly nodding his head at your words. "but nothin's coming to mind at all. blank slateâi can't think of anything you like, i've tried every store, every website." you'd spent hours with your laptop and your soft blankets wrapped around you, just trying to find a single gift for him.
"babe," he sighs at the sight of you, the corners of his lips flitting upwards at the realisation that settles upon him. all this over him? over his birthday? god, you're adorable. "really?"
"what do you mean, reallyâwhat type of shitty response is thaâ"
"hear me out," matt murmurs, interrupting you gently. he rubs his hands over your arms easily, sighing for a second as his eyes meet yours. "what if i don't want all that? what if i just wanna spend some time with you? y'ever think about that?" his hands slide up over your arms to your neck, fingers curling around the back gently. "that ever cross your mind?"
you scoff instantly at thatâ"well, who'd want that?" he doesn't admit it, but the sound of you saying that about yourself makes his heart ache in his chest once more. shaking off the pang of hurt, he continues after being quiet for a moment. "me, i'd want that. jus' bein' with you makes me happy. that'd make it a real good birthday." you can't deny there's a warm, fuzzy feeling in your heart when he says that. no one's ever said that your company is all they need to be happy.
you bite your tongue momentarily, considering your words. a bashful little look dawns on your face and you look away with a quiet huff. "yeah?" you mumble, looking up at him through your lashes after. damn it, he makes your heart feel all fluttery and warm like no one else has before. you're not sure whether you like it all that muchâsince it's so vulnerable, but you can't say you hate it, since you don't. "really?"
he draws you into him, his hand sliding up to the back of your head to cradle it before he holds you against his chest. "i mean it, pretty girl," he murmurs, his words completely genuine and true. he really does mean it, he loves you and your company so damn muchâeven if he can't say it. he doesn't need your alone time with him to end with having sex, or for you to buy him expensive little gifts, he just needs you. "really do mean it. i like hangin' out with you, ain't it obvious?"
"you're soâlike," you don't know how to explain it. your head tilts a little, chin bumping against his chest a little as his fingers brush over your jaw. "so.." you're a little lost for words, admittedly. a smile plays over matt's lips once more, his eyes fluttering over your pretty face.
"so what, babe?"
you're quiet again, considering what to say before you make the decision that words can't describe how you feel enough. so you lean in, grasping at the fabric of his shirt to draw him closer and press your lips against his. it's slow, gentle, he blinks a minute to adjust to the fact you're kissing him, but he melts into it almost immediately. his plush lips against yours feels like heaven, parting a little instinctively. resting his hands on the sides of your face, he holds you against him.
after a little bit, he pulls back. "i get it," he murmurs quietly, "no need to explain. i know." he gets you more than anyone else.

See You When You Get Back
Pairing: Daryl Dixon x Fem!Reader
Warnings: Shane's a big jerk in this
Summary: Checking in with those going on a supply run creates some drama within the crew. (Season 1 ish)
A/N: My first Daryl piece! Needed some soft Daryl in my life lol. I haven't finished the show yet, currently in the middle of S.6 and it's been a long time since I watched season 1&2, so sorry for any inaccuracies.
Runs werenât your thing. Not right now. Maybe in a few months youâd be able to stomach it- going out amidst walkers and even more twisted survivors to find food. And toothpaste. God, you needed toothpaste. But even with the protectors of the group on your side, watching your back, you knew you wouldnât make it back to camp. Not right now. Maybe someday.Â
Everybody was clear on that. The ânot right now.â So those going out on the supply run would check in with you, ask if you needed anything special and then leave you be to do their laundry or clean the little dishware you had all collected.
They collected. The ones who could collect things- those going on the runs. You just cleaned. For now.Â
âHey.â It sounded more like a grunt than a word.Â
Daryl pulled you from your thoughts. Like a hand dipping into the waves to yank you up into the clear air to breathe.Â
âNeed anythin'?â He asked once you looked at him.Â
You smiled. A lips pressed together - thanks for thinking of me - smile.Â
âThe usual. Diamonds, meth, whatever you can find.â
He snorted, rolling his eyes.Â
âAnd toothpaste if you can find it. But I let Andrea know that.â
He gave a curt nod. âKay.âÂ
âSee you when you get back,â you said to him.Â
A laughing hiss came from behind you. âDamn, girl, tell 'im how you really feel.â
Shane stood behind you. Snarky. Smirking. Shaking his head.Â
Though Rick was the one who found you on his way out of the hospital, it was Shane who let you join the group. At least, thatâs how he saw it. You were grateful to him, he protected you, provided for you like he did the others. When you had no place to stay and no tent of your own, he let you share his. It was a generous gesture that was starting to come back to bite you each time Shane acted like he had a say in everything you did. Even more than the others in the group, that is.Â
âWhat?â you said.Â
His fingers dug into the belt loops in his jeans as he leaned to one hip. âEverybody else gets a pat on the shoulder or a hug. 'Be safe, keep safe,ââ he said, imitating a whiny voice that wasn't quite yours. He shrugged. âGuess she couldnât care less âbout you, Dixon.â
You heard the distinct click and jangle of Daryl putting his crossbow over his shoulder, ready to move out. Your jaw clenched at the thought of him leaving with Shaneâs words in his head.Â
âWhy would you even say somethin' like that?â You shot at Shane. âI would never-â
âYa donâ hafâta explain yerself,â Daryl mumbled to you.Â
âWhat was that?â Shane called.Â
âI said she doesnâ hafâta explain herself to you,â Daryl said, taking a step toward you, but angling himself toward Shane. Ready.Â
âI think I know her better than you do, Dixon,â Shane said. âWe share a goddamn tent-â
âYou-â
âIf you think,â you interrupted both of them, âthat Iâd say such a thing about any one of us, then you donât know me at all. But Darylâs right. I donât have to explain anything to you.â
Shaneâs eyes went narrow. He crossed the open space between you, the span of two tents, in just a few long strides. You felt Daryl stiffen at your side as Shane stuck his face near yours.Â
âYou be careful who you align yourself with, (Y/N). If I were you-â
âYer not.â Daryl said.Â
Shane didnât take his eyes off you. âIf I were you, Iâd choose better than a redneck with a few arrows.â
Even with his harsh words, his gaze softened toward you. Then he turned away and made his way back to his tent.Â
Once he disappeared, you sighed, hoping the tension in your chest would dissipate with the air, but it didnât.Â
âDick,â Daryl mumbled.Â
A dry chuckle left you as you turned to him. His cheeks were pink with anger but his face was calm now.Â
âDaryl, when I said- I just meant that-â
âI know what ya mean when ya say it.â His arm snaked around your neck, pulling you into him. Fast, hard, and unexpected. âIâll see ya when I get back.â
He spoke into your hair. You felt his lips and breath move against your skin. And then he let go, gone as fast as he appeared, and you watched him saunter toward the rest of the group going on the run, his crossbow fit to his back.Â
-------------------------------
A/N: A part two may come! I can't just leave you in a tent with Shane after all that, can I?

I love your work so much!! Can I request a Gambit x reader where reader has a hidden injury after a mission? Any mutant ability is fine!
Beneath the Surface
The mission had been intense, but youâd done your part, fought hard alongside the rest of the X-Men, and came out victorious. Or so you thought.
Back at the mansion, everyone seemed to be unwinding after the battle. You smiled and joked along with the others, pushing through the nagging pain youâd felt during the fight. Youâd taken a hitâa sharp blast of energy that had grazed your sideâbut you hadnât thought much of it. The adrenaline masked the worst of it, and the last thing you wanted was to slow the team down.
Now, as you sat in the living room with the others, chatting and laughing, the pain was starting to creep back in, sharper, deeper. You shifted uncomfortably in your seat, trying to hide the wince that crossed your face. No one seemed to notice. Good.
But, of course, he noticed.
Remy LeBeau had been watching you ever since you returned from the mission. He leaned casually against the doorway, arms crossed, eyes narrowed slightly in suspicion. You could feel his gaze on you, but you didnât look up. You knew if you met those sharp red eyes, heâd see right through you.
âYâokay there, cher?â Remyâs smooth voice broke through the conversation, cutting off whatever lighthearted joke had been thrown around the room.
You forced a smile and nodded. âYeah, Iâm fine. Just a little tired.â
Remyâs eyes didnât leave you, and you could feel the weight of his concern. His gaze lingered for a moment before he pushed off the doorway and walked toward you. âTired, huh? Donât look like that tâme.â
You shifted in your seat again, the pain in your side now unbearable, but you werenât about to show it. âIâm fine, really.â
âHmmâŠâ Remy didnât look convinced. He leaned down, his voice dropping so only you could hear. âHow âbout we take a little walk, non?â
You glanced up at him, seeing the knowing look in his eyes. You could feel the eyes of the others on you too, but you didnât want to make a scene. So, reluctantly, you nodded and stood up, biting down a groan as a sharp pain shot through your side. Remyâs hand was instantly on your back, guiding you gently out of the room and into the hallway.
Once you were out of earshot of the others, he stopped, turning to face you. His expression had shifted from playful to serious, concern etched into his features.
âAlright, chĂ©rie. Whatâs goinâ on?â His voice was soft, but his eyes were searching, and you knew you couldnât hide it any longer.
You sighed, leaning against the wall and finally pressing a hand to your side. âItâs nothing⊠just a small injury from the mission.â
Remy frowned, his eyes narrowing. âSmall, huh? Lemme see.â
You hesitated, but the pain was too much to keep pretending. Slowly, you lifted the edge of your shirt, revealing the deep gash along your side, still bleeding and clearly more than âjust a scratch.â
Remyâs jaw clenched, and his eyes darkened as he took in the sight. âMon dieu, *why* didnât yâsay somethinâ?â
âI didnât want to worry anyone,â you muttered, wincing as you pulled your shirt back down.
âDidnât want tâworryââ Remy cut himself off, taking a deep breath as he tried to calm down. âYâcouldâve bled out, chĂ©rie. This ainât nothinâ.â
âIâm fine, Remy,â you insisted, though your voice lacked conviction now that you could see the look of frustration and concern on his face.
He shook his head, stepping closer. âNon. Yâainât fine, and yâainât foolinâ me. Câmon, weâre goinâ tâfix this up.â Without waiting for you to protest, he gently wrapped an arm around your waist, careful not to aggravate your injury, and began leading you toward the medbay.
As you walked, you could feel the tension in his grip, the way his fingers pressed into your skin, just enough to remind you that he was there, that he wasnât going to let anything else happen to you. It was comforting, despite the pain.
âYâknow yâainât gotta be strong all the time,â Remy said quietly, his voice softer now. âWe all got each otherâs backs, *including* yâown.â
You sighed, feeling a bit of the guilt settle in. âI didnât want to slow anyone downâŠâ
âChĂ©rie, yânever slow anyone down,â he murmured, shaking his head. âBut yâcanât go hidinâ stuff like this. I ainât losinâ you âcause yâtoo stubborn tâask for help.â
You looked up at him, seeing the sincerity in his eyes. âIâm sorry.â
Remyâs expression softened, and he gave you a small smile. âSâalright. Long as yâlet me patch yâup, Iâll forgive yâ.â
He kept his arm around you until you reached the medbay, where he carefully helped you sit down on the exam table. Grabbing the first aid kit, Remy took his time cleaning and bandaging the wound, his touch surprisingly gentle despite his rough exterior. The entire time, he muttered under his breath about how reckless you were, though there was no real anger behind his wordsâjust worry.
When he was done, he leaned back, looking you over with a satisfied nod. âThere. Now yâcan stop pretendinâ yâainât hurt.â
You smiled at him, feeling a warmth in your chest that had nothing to do with the injury. âThanks, Remy.â
He flashed you that signature grin, but there was something softer in his gaze as he leaned down, brushing a strand of hair from your face. âAinât no need tâthank me, chĂšre. Just donât go scarinâ me like that again, yâhear?â
You chuckled, wincing slightly but feeling a lot lighter than before. âIâll try not to.â
He smirked, his eyes glinting with affection. âGood. âCause next time, Iâm carryinâ yâoutta there whether yâlike it or not.ïżœïżœ
You laughed softly, and for the first time all day, you felt at ease. Remy had that effect on youâalways knowing how to make you feel safe, even when you didnât want to admit you needed it.

Omg i love your "cuddles" đ„°đ„°đ„°đđâ€ïžđ€©. Would you do a second maybe nsfw part? đđđđ
KIDD & KILLER; cuddles pt. 2
part 1 is gn reader coded (still welcome for whoever wants to read đ„°)
wc: 1448 warning/s: very nsfw, đ, afab reader, 3some, polyamory
it was not long before the cuddles became a regular thing. you'd always end up crawling on kidd's bed, your perfume had already rubbed on his sheets. kidd will be on your right and killer will be on your left. a unanimous position that the three of you had agreed on without talking about it.
what comes to mind about 'not talking about it' is the thing you three have going on. everyone notices the officially unofficial relationship between the three of you. it's honestly suffocating to see you three tiptoeing towards each other.
everyday on the ship, it's you three who are always beside one another. on the dinner table, you sit next to each other and no one else in the ship even thinks about changing that. when in groups, they always pick dibs on you.
nobody hits you up because they know who they're gonna piss off and they're immediately going to be thrown off the ship if they even attempt to. same goes with them. ever since you came into the picture and they've laid dibs on you ,those who have even a shred of attraction to the captain and his first mate dissipated.
they envy you really, sleeping with the captain and his right hand man. be it nothing happened between the three of you. but something deep inside you hopes that something really does happen. you're too scared to break the thing you three got going on to even bring that up.
"you been quiet, name. it's scarin' me." kidd cleared his throat, his flesh arm cushioning thr back of his head. you were in between them. your arm was lousily slung over the surface of his torso while killer embraced you firmly by your waist, his chin nestled on your shoulder as he was deep asleep with parted lips and little snores.
you flinched a little, eyes trailing from the small window that let a wee bit of moonlight in and illuminated kidd's bright amber eyes staring at his ceiling. "nothing, just trying to sleep. why are you still awake?"
he heaved a deep breath before answering. "a thought been buggin' the shit outta me, you know?"
you furrowed your brows a little, it's so rare kidd opens up about something. "want to talk about it?" you snuggled closer but didn't move so haphazardly so as to not jolt killer awake, he's a light sleeper after all.
"bout time really. though kil's knocked the fuck out." he nodded to killer. further confusing you more.
"hey he's been working hard all day, let him. besides, can you not tell me without him?" you looked up at him expectantly, but he kept his eyes glued to the ceiling.
"'s about us. the three of us." he finally looked at you.
the mellow roar of the evening tide evidently disturbed the silence that pooled in the room. you returned his gaze but you held hesitation in yours while his had an earnest intent.
"i'm listening. go on." you broke eye contact, eyes trailing down to the steady heaving of kidd's chest.
"don't play clueless with me, aye? surely it crossed your mind." a little chuckle coated his speech. "thought about what it'd be if we three fucked or somethin'."
your spit got caught in your throat and you started coughing vehemently, waking killer up in the process who immediately rubbed your back to ease your plight while still half asleep. kidd couldn't contain his laughter he had to sit up.
"what... what did you do kidd? why is name coughing so bad?" killer rubbed his eye with his other hand to see better while the other rubbed on your back. he looked to the side to see kidd laughing hysterically with a hand on his stomach.
"bonnie's all flustered, it's the cutest thing." kidd started, wiping a tear by the corner of his eye.
"shut up! look, because of your dumbass killer's awake." you buried your face in your hands, all the blood rushing to your cheeks.
"me? baby, who's the one who coughed 'er heart out?" he teased, tone mocking as he poked fun at you.
"are you even serious or are you just playing with me?" you looked over to kidd once you had composed yourself, irritated as you approach him.
"oh, bonnie. i'm down if you're down, killer's too. we're just waitin' for your go signal." he tapped the bottom of your chin with his index.
"i-i... haven't tried doing it with two guys." you suddenly grow shy, you rubbed on your shoulders as you looked down on your blanketed thighs.
killer, who immediately picked up on the situation, reached over to ruffle your hair. "that's fine, dove. it doesn't matter." his fingers trailed down to massaging the side of your neck gently, reveling in the display of skin and the softness of it. "besides, if you need that reassurance, i really do want to do it with you, hm? " he placed a soft peck on your shoulder, his kiss on your bare skin raised your goosebumps from head to toe.
"what he said." kidd stretched before leaning on the headboard with an arm behind his head. "woulda love to see you naked, though. scratches an itch in my brain."
with their statements, you almost felt like smoke is coming out of you from the increase of heat in your system. your breathing was uneven, you could hear your heart just begging to calm down, and your cheeks felt hotter than the planet near the damn sun. it was all too much for you.
next thing you know, kidd's head was buried deep in your cunt and you were almost breaking your neck from making out with killer from behind. you were between killer's legs while kidd was between yours. killer massaged your mounds from under your shirt while he sucked on your lips. his cock growing hard on your back. it honestly surprised you to see him acting like this.
kidd was busy dragging his tongue feverishly across your folds, his hand pried your legs open as they shiver through the sheer force of his tongue. his nails were digging by the flesh of your thighs as he watched you melt before killer's frame.
after a long while of kidd getting drunk on your cunt, his lips moved back to your stomach up to space that separates your breasts towards your neck and to your lips. catching your lips from killer's. as the redhead got busy with kissing you, you felt his damp length brushing up by your stomach in much need of friction from you.
killer helped you off your shirt and unhooked your bra, his large hands didn't leave your breasts as he played with it from behind. he left trails of dark hickeys on the juncture of your neck and shoulder while pinching the bundle of nerves in the middle of your mounds.
as requested by your captain, you worked yourself up in giving him a handjob while melting in killer's stimulation. kidd had your lips captured by his, swallowing up your moans as he fucked himself on your fist.
you started working up a sweat, beads of them pooling by your forehead. positioned by kidd's lap as he filled you up while you choke on killer's length. your ass slamming by the surface of his toned abdomen as he placed his arm at the back of his head to enjoy the view of the two of you. killer got a firm grip on your locks as he guided your mouth to his sweet spots, throwing his head back as you gobble him whole. kidd relished the view from your behind as you struggle to cater to two of them while being cock drunk.
it wasn't long before they came on you, pumping their lengths over your heaving, sweating body.
"you know i'm a man of no self control but hell, wouldn't wanna get ya pregnant, aye?" kidd grunted, panting as he squeezed the last drop of his seed.
"don't even try. fuck you, kidd." you squirmed under them as the throbbing in your lower half hit you like a truck, curling into a fetal position.
"oh you already did." kidd gave your ass a little slap before lying down the same position as you three usually do.
"don't tease her too much now, kidd. she's spent, hm? i think it's best if we all get some rest, yeah?" killer lied down on your opposite side, hooking his arm under your head to cushion it as he pulled you closer to his embrace just so he could plant a kiss on your forehead. đ»Small Town Girlđ» ~ Part 1
Tex Johnson thought he was just passing throughâŠuntil he set his eyes on you.Â
A little Tex x Reader fic for my beloved @treedaddymcpuffpuff. I love you bool!!! I hope you like this. Itâs a mix of you and me and shit i made up and The Gift and conversations weâve had and that silly rodeo fic we talked about and probably some sookie stackhouse and justified and longmire and other cowboy media that lives rent free in my brain at all times đ this is like 7000 words i apologize in advanceâŠđ ILYSM!!!
Warnings: mentions of past spousal abuse, mentions of animal abuse, religious trauma...you know, the usual social problems of depressed rural america... I can say that because I live here. divider by strangergraphics-archive
To be fair, you saw the trouble coming from a mile away.
Or at leastâŠa hundred yards, because thatâs where he parked his â69 Chevelle outside the diner in the middle of your shift. You watched him swagger up in denim, boots, and a bitchinâ fringe leather jacket out the corner of your eye, because you were taking someoneâs order. And you cursed the gods when he sprawled himself in a seat in your section, long legs extended out partly in the aisle. He was going to trip someoneâor maybe he was just hoping youâd ask him sweetly to move those fancy-tooled shit-kickers to their proper position.
Your capacity for sweetly went up in smoke about an hour ago.
âHi, can I get you started with something to drink?â
He looks up at you, all dark eyes and smoldering charmâyes, youâre sure he knows it, tooâoffering up a half smile that makes your heart stop even though you tried to brace yourself. And wow, goddamn if he doesnât have the balls to look you up and down before answering, âThink Iâm in the mood for somethinâ sweet.â His smile widens as you narrow your eyes down at him.Â
âYou want a milkshake?â
You swear there is a sparkle in his eye as you ask it.Â
âWhy yes, I believe I do. What flavor you got?â
You blink, heat blooming across your chest and up your neck. He sees it too, the cheeky bastard, that devil-may-care curl of lips widening more.Â
âWe have chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, and banana.âÂ
âHmm. Thatâs a hard choice, darlinâ.âÂ
âYou need some time to think about it?âÂ
He chuckles at your sass. âNah. How âbout vanilla. With a cherry on top?âÂ
âHard to find âround here, but Iâll see what I can do,â you deadpan, doodling with concentration on your order pad.Â
This tickles his funny bone something fierce, those lovely eyes shining. Good Lord, itâs just not fair, the types of temptation the Devil is allowed to set in front of you mere mortals.Â
However, youâre not falling for it. Youâre not. You learned the hard way to be wary of tall, dark, and handsome men with a bit of the devil in them. Because before you were y/n y/ln, your name was Mrs. Donnie Barksdale, and youâve got the scars to prove it.
âCominâ right up, mister.âÂ
âTex.â
âPardon?â
âThatâs my name. Tex.â
He is a charming bastard. Youâre not falling for it. You just gotta keep telling yourself that.Â
âObviously an alias.â With the tip of your tennis shoe you nudge his big booted foot out of the aisle. âYouâre gonna hurt someone with them things.âÂ
âWell, we wouldnât want that.â Â Â
You were not playing footsie with this gorgeous stranger. You were just moving a tripping hazard.Â
Youâre not falling for it.
Youâre not so convinced either, as you go to make his drink.Â
***
A little later, when you bring out his burger and fries, he asks, âWhy donât you set with me a while?âÂ
You roll your eyes, withdrawing a roll of silverware from your apron. âI canât sit down and jaw with you, Iâll get fired.âÂ
He gives you a pouty face, and it should be illegal for a grown-ass-man to look so cute. âWhenâs your break?â
âNot for hours,â you lie.
âIâll wait for you, darlinâ.âÂ
You snort in answer to that, even while a storm of butterflies goes crazy in your belly.Â
âSurely you have somethinâ better to do.â
He shrugs. âI just finished a job. Takinâ time for a little vacation on my way home.âÂ
âOh yeah? What do you do?â
âErmâŠIâm in situationalâŠsolutionsâŠmanagement.â
âWow. Thatâs not vague at all. You in the mob or somethinâ?â you tease.
He lifts a brow, but doesnt answer immediately. It gives you an uneasy feeling, before he flashes that good olâ boy smile again.
âWouldnât that be some shit?â
Sometimes you get feelings about things, and there is something about this man that makes you uneasy. You think your first instincts were right about him. He needs to be kept at armâs length. Or maybe the proverbial ten foot pole would be more ideal. The sooner he moves on down the highway, the better.Â
He lingers long after his burger and shake are gone, people watching, looking out the windowâŠand looking at you. You can feel his gaze on you, like he is a wolf waiting patiently in the treeline for his opportune moment. You have to walk past him after taking a family their order of food, and he asks you, âSo what do you do for fun in a little town like this?âÂ
âWeâre all Baptists âround here, mister, no fun allowed.â
He scoffs, eyes still shining, but you can tell, his patience is finally wearing a little thin. Well, good. Hopefully heâll get the hint and go. Youâre sure a man who looks like him, tall and strapping and handsome as a movie star, is used to women throwing themselves at him. Maybe he thought youâd be a quick score because youâd be grateful for the attention. Boy howdy, did he read you wrong. Â
âDid I see a sign for a rodeo a street back?âÂ
âYeah, the fair and rodeoâs here this weekend.â
âNot your idea of fun?âÂ
âYes and no. I donât like seeinâ the animals get mistreated.â Not all of them were, of course. But the boys could be a little rough when they were roping the young steers, and you knew youâd have a bone to pick with the owner of the local petting zoo later.Â
âHuh. No, thatâs not fun. Someone should do something about it.â That sparkle has returned to those polished onyx orbs, and you are equal parts intrigued and wary.Â
âEasier said than done, believe me.âÂ
âWe should team up tonight. Give âem hell.âÂ
You raise an eyebrow to that. Is he asking you out? Your heart does a little flip, before leaping in a swan dive to splat on the pavement. Donât be stupid.Â
âI donât think so.âÂ
âAww, come on, honey, give me a chance. Iâm not a bad man.â Â
Heâs charming as a snake with an apple to sell, and youâre pretty sure heâs lying.Â
âThatâs exactly what bad men say.â
âWhat would a sweet thing like you know about that?â
You sigh, suddenly feeling about fifty years older than you are. âI know enough.â You donât really mean to, but in a tick you canât quite break you brush your hair behind your ear, touching the scar on your temple from the last time Donnie beat the hell out of you. The flesh is still raised, if not faded, the span of a few years softening the evidence, if only on the outside.Â
You move your hand as soon as you realize what youâre doing, but not before this sharp-eyed man before you notices. His affable expression darkens, and you decide you would not like to meet him in a dark alley on a moonless night. âGive me a name, darlinâ.âÂ
For a moment you are taken aback. You donât know this man, and he doesnât know you. The offer to play white knight for you is both titillating, and tiresome, if youâre being honest. Youâve heard it before from men who wanted to impress you. None of them panned out. No one wants to take on Donnie Barksdale.Â
âI donât need a man to protect me. Iâve got a shotgun for that. You want any dessert?âÂ
Like flipping a switch, he grins up at you, and though he is being friendly, there is still a hint of fang in it, like a wolf on the scent of something to hunt.
âI believe you, honey. I better skip the pie. Gotta watch my girlish figure.â He pats his slim waist, and you canât stop yourself from looking. Inwardly, you sigh. With your lip between your teeth you add up his final bill on your notepad. âFeel free to add your phone number on there,â he teases, to which you just shake your head sadly.Â
âThere are plenty of pretty girls in this town who will be more than happy to entertain you, Mr. Tex,â you assure him.
Again, he shoots you that pout, and jesus god it should be illegal in twenty states, it gives you such a high.Â
âBut none of them are you, darlinâ.âÂ
You roll your eyes, even if you kinda feel like youâre floating on a cloud right now. Goddammit.Â
âYou can nurse your broken heart over at TJâs by the creek, itâs where everyone goes around here.âÂ
âIncluding you?âÂ
âNo.âÂ
âHmm, Miss Hard To Get. Youâre really gonna make me comb through the whole crowd to find you at the fair tonight?âÂ
âWho said Iâm going to the fair tonight?âÂ
âMy gut.âÂ
You hand him his check with a smile that does not hide your annoyance. âYou can pay at the register.âÂ
You hide in the back, finally taking your break, and deep in your idiotic heart you are sad to see him go. You hear the engine of the vintage sportscar rev from all the way in the kitchen, and you come out just in time to see the back end of him rolling down the road.Â
Good riddance. You think it, but a part of you doesnât really agree. Ah well. Youâve always had a weak spot for strays, but that one would have taken the cake. He was A Bad Ideaâą and you were much better off without him.Â
When you go to check the table you see heâs left you a cash tip that will cover your feed bills for a whole month, and your knees go a little weak.Â
***
When your shift ends you get in your old car and head home, out of town, down the highway and through the woods, to the old farmhouse your grandparents left to you. Maybe you wonât be on the cover of Country Living any time soon, but the battered old clapboard house is home, and has been home to members of your family since the mid 1800s.Â
Now, it is also home to the assortment of rescued animals you have picked up along the way. If your grandmother, god rest her soul, knew you kept a five-foot tegu lizard in an enclosure in her parlor she would probably expire all over again. But then againâŠif anyone had ever forgiven you for your stranger quirks, it was your Mawmaw.Â
Your parents, not so much, which was ironic, considering. There was a reason the family farm went to you and not your mother. She never really got the hang of the whole adulting thing, falling in âloveâ with dirtbag after dirtbag after your parents divorce, ping ponging between bouts of addiction and religious righteousness. How you came to dread the words, âI am saved!âÂ
You find it funny, that the people who bang their bible the hardest are usually the ones who have the biggest sins to answer for.Â
But when it came to bad decisions, maybe your apple didnât fall far from the tree, considering your ex, but in your defense you grew up with Donnie Barksdale. His familyâs land adjoined yours, and they had been in this holler just as long as your own ancestors had. They were well regarded around your tiny rural community, and half the folks in your town could hardly believe the rumors of the horrible things that man used to do to you. The other half thought you must have been asking for itâwhat can you count on in these parts, if not good olâ fashioned Christian misogyny?
Once upon a time, Donnie Barksdale had been your best friend. You ran wild through the woods in your youth, building forts and catching critters. You fished in his pond and played in the hayloft of your grandparentsâ barn. Then you got a little older, and your shirt filled out and the hormones kicked in, and maybe it was to no oneâs surprise when you became lovers. Highschool sweethearts to a married couple, right after graduation. You could have gone to college on a scholarship, but Donnie wanted you home.Â
It was easier to control you that way, you came to find out.
He didnât beat on you at first. It took a while, for the disappointments of real life to set in. He never got drafted to play pro ball, and he was too proud to take up an honest trade. The pressures of living in a depressed rural area, with no good jobs and few good prospects, took their toll. Reagan-era policies made it easy for corporations to run all the little brick-and-mortar businesses into the ground, and trickle-down economics left your little community behind. Alcohol, meth, and Walmart filled in the voids.
With nothing better to do, Donnie started having affairs, and drinking too much, and when he finally got home he took his frustrations out on you. Â
You try not to think about it now, but you do, every day. Youâre not sure what hurt more: the actual physical beatings, or the betrayal by the boy who youâd loved madly since you were just eight years old.Â
But there is something to be said, for the healing to be found with your hands in the dirt. You were such a broken thing, when you took over your grandmotherâs overgrown garden years ago. Now, your little farmstead is a pollinatorâs paradise filled with flowers and food. Thereâs something about sitting in the quiet with the butterflies flitting around that makes you feel like youâve done something right in the world. You feed the birds, and you care for your animals, and you take life day by day.  Â
Itâs a simple life, but a good one. Youâve run a long road, but youâre finally starting to feel like youâre going to be ok.Â
And, you intend to keep it that way. That means not going for rides in fast cars with handsome strangers, no matter how lonely you are, or if it seems like he would be good to you, even if just for a night.Â
You did good today, sticking to your guns.Â
You need another man in your life like you need a hole in the head. âBoys are so rude,â you expound to your chickens, and your hens seem to cluck in agreement, their feathers so silky soft against your ankles as they wait for a treat. The last rooster who hurt your girls for his own gratification lost his head and ended up in your cookpot. If only it was so easy to dispose of belligerent human males.
You get your scoop, doling out some extra scratch grains to lure the chickens into their pen to lock them up early.Â
Youâve got somewhere to be. Â
As it turns out, Tex was absolutely right about your intention to go to the rodeo, though youâre pretty sure he was blowing smoke about trying to find you. Itâs a small town, but everyone will be there. Youâll be a needle in a haystack, and you take some comfort in that as you put on a black sunflower print sundress and your battered boots.Â
You feed the cat, the dogs, your ancient conure parrot, and lock up the house. You have to go see a man about a horseâand youâre kind of dreading it.
***
You are not the only adult in the petting zoo area, which is some small relief. It takes a little while for Dale to even notice you are there, sneaking his skin and bones mini horse molasses treats from your purse in an attempt to help the poor thing put on some weight. Itâs starving and its hooves need a trim and you could strangle Dale Manes with your two bare hands.Â
You pass his place on the way home, and you regularly throw hay and treats over the fence in an attempt to feed his animalsâsomething he clearly doesnât seem to think itâs necessary to do much.Â
Heâs a cousin of Donnieâs, which has never kept him from ogling you. With some extra cash in your purse thanks to your handsome stranger, youâre hoping that maybe you can sweet talk Dale into relinquishing ownership.
Maybe itâs a lost cause, but maybe you canât help but think about how many times people had looked at you in a bedraggled state, knew you needed help, and kept on walking with a âBless her heart,â muttered under their breath.Â
This little horse gobbles his treats down and bumps his head against you for scritches, leaning on you like a dog.
âY/n, I see you spoiling my horse.â
You grit your teeth, before facing the music. âHi Dale.â
âYou know, I got you on my game cam trespassing on my property.â You canât tell by his tone if heâs mad or not. It feels like youâre walking into a trap. Donnie used to play this verbal kind of game with you. It must be genetic.
âTrespassingâs a strong word,â you say, pouring extra sugar into your drawl.
âI donât know what else to call it. Illegal feeding of animals?â
You give him a sheepish smile, when all you really want to do is kick him in the balls.
âOh come on, Dale. You know this horse is skinny. Itâs ok, I know how things go. I had some extra so I spread it around.â
It is not ok and you have literally lived on ramen cups some months so your animals could eat well and get the medicine they need.Â
âWell ainât you a peach?â
âDale?â
He leers at you, sidling closer, and your skin crawls.
âYeah, honey?â
âSell me this horse.â
He gives you a look. âYouâd ask a man to sell his livelihood?âÂ
You happen to know he gets by on government draw and dealing pain pills just fine.
âI like Ziggy. Heâs my buddy. Let him come live with me.â The little horse in question is trying to nuzzle into your purse for more molasses treats.Â
Dale takes a step closer, and it takes every iota of your self control not to step back.Â
âYou really are a piece of work.â
âExcuse me?â
âYou conniving little bitch. I know it was you that called Animal Welfare on me last month.â
The sweetness drains from you like a flushing toilet. âFat lot of good it did, I guess.âÂ
âYou little bitch. You know how lucky you are? If you were my wife I would have killed you and buried you somewhere no one would find you.â
âWow. I guess thatâs why your wife ran off to Florida.â
âCunt.â He raises his hand to you, right here in front of children and mothers and God and the whole damn town.
âWhatâs goinâ on here?â A strong arm loops around your waist, pulling you back out of striking range. âWe horse tradinâ, or are we pickinâ fights we canât win?â
With wide eyes you look up to see the man from the diner, somehow even more handsome than before because heâs cleaned up and changed his shirt, the good looking bastard.
âWere you raisinâ your hand to this lady?â he asks. His tone is jovial, but there is an edge beneath the surface that does not escape your notice. You learned the hard way, how to dissect the subtle cadences of a manâs words.
âBelieve me when I tell you she deserves it.â
âHuh.â Out of the blue Texâs fist connects with Daleâs jaw, knocking him out cold. Ziggy startles at the body hitting the ground, darting on his little legs to the other side of the enclosure. All the families stare, shocked that someone would dare, though no one rushed in to see if Dale was still breathing.Â
âWell, thatâs our cue to go.â
âWhat?â
You are in shock, and it does not even occur to you to fight him when Tex takes your hand and pulls you through the crowd. You do not stop until you are on the other side of the fairgrounds, amidst the games and the dubiously safe rides.Â
âOh. My. God,â you wheeze, when finally you pause by the Whirl-A-Gig. âDo you know what you just did?âÂ
âYouâre welcome,â he answers with that shit-eating grin, and you almost want to sock him yourself.Â
âYou should have let him hit me!â
âWhat?â Eyes wide, Tex is incredulous before you.
âGod, I didnât plan it that way but it would have been perfect! He woulda gone to jail, and the county would have to seize his animals.â At least the local Human Society would feed the poor things.Â
Tex blinks, looking down at you like youâve grown a second nose. âDid you miss the part where he was going to knock your head off?âÂ
âIâm used to it,â you muse absently, annoyed to the soles of your boots that you missed this opportunity. âIf I were you Iâd git while the gettinâs good. The whole Barksdale clan is going to come after you now.âÂ
His grin is like a baring of fangs. âSounds like fun.âÂ
âHuh. You ainât gonna think so when ten of âem roll up on you in your fancy sportscar.âÂ
âMeh. I can handle a pickup truck full of cousin fuckers. Wouldnât be the first time.âÂ
A chortle escapes you before you can stop it. You cross your arms defensively, trying not to smile.
âThe Barksdales are some tough customers, mister.â You had to be, to survive back in the day, but somewhere along the line it just gotâŠout of hand.Â
âSounds like you know âem pretty well.âÂ
âI was married to one of them for the worst six years of my life. Believe me, you donât want none of what they got.â Â
Tex takes this opportunity to step into you, and now that the excitement is over you are reminded that you have six feet of pure cowboy standing in front of you. The pretty tooled embroidery on his shirt emphasizes how wide his chest is. You can smell the heady spiced scent of his cologne, and it hits you like a drug. Goddammit.Â
âSounds like youâre worried about me, darlinâ.â His voice is like warm molasses.Â
âPsshh. You better worry about yourself,â you grouse with extra venom, annoyed. âI donât think you have the sense God gave a chicken.âÂ
He chuckles at that, and you try to back away. Try is the operative word, because he has your hands in his again. âOh come on, darlinâ, donât leave me yet. Is this the thanks your knight in shining armor gets?âÂ
His hands engulf yours, long strong fingers wrapped around your palms, and you feel more than a little weak inside. Â
âKnight in shining armor my fanny. Your little stunt is going to get us both hurt.âÂ
âMy stunt? Were you or were you not trying to buy that horse when you knew damn well he wasnât going to sell it to you?âÂ
You sigh. âWellâŠI had a little windfall burninâ a hole in my pocket, and I had to try.âÂ
He pulls you a little closerâamazingly, you let him. âThatâs not exactly what I had in mind when I left that for you.âÂ
âOh yeah? What did you have in mind?âÂ
âWellâŠâ Goddammit, if he does not take the opportunity to sidle even closer, so that your fronts are nearly pressed together, and you think you just might faint. âI was hoping you might treat yourself to somethinâ nice. Like a pretty new dress.â He looks you up and down, making a low sound in his throat of appreciation. âBut I see you already had that handled. Mmm, you look good.âÂ
You sigh, a long suffering sound of exasperation. Is there something wrong with this man? Because he canât seem to stop running his mouth. And maybe youâre losing your mind, butâŠyouâre kind of starting to like it.
âI think you might have a screw loose, mister.âÂ
He grins wide for you, in that moment looking every bit the outlaw, with his shining dark eyes and hair brushing his collar.Â
âThat may be trueâŠâ He leans down towards you, and you think you just might die. âBut Iâm pretty sweet.â Youâre afraid heâs going to try to kiss you, and youâre even more afraid youâre going to let him. But he just bumps your forehead with his before paying you that devil-may-care grin, and you swear your heart stops in your chest.Â
This man is such a mistake, but you feel your defenses dissolving like sugar in hot tea.Â
âWant to split a funnel cake?âÂ
As it turns out, itâs the nail in your coffin.Â
âYeah.âÂ
He grins like a man who just won the lottery, tucking you into his side under the shelter of his well-muscled arm like youâve always belonged there, and goddammit if it doesnât feel good to feel protected. Too good, maybe. Itâs something you cannot allow yourself to get used to.
âI knew youâd come around, darlinâ.â
Itâs been a while since you made a big mistake. LikeâŠless than an hour, at least, so you guess you were due up. As bad decisions go⊠You look this tall cowboy up and down, his denim-clad legs about a mile long swaggering beside you.Â
âHow did you find me?â it occurs to you to ask.
âI remembered what you said about liking animals, and figured the petting zoo would be a good place to start.â
You pause in your step, almost tripping as you look up at him. Maybe it shouldnât be this surprising, that a man actually listened to something you said. But god. It twists and squeezes something inside you. Itâs painful and wonderful and you really should run before this gets out of hand. But he is looking down at you with those smoldering dark eyes, and a part of you already knows that itâs too late.Â
***
âSo, my babygirl likes animals,â muses Tex beside you, taking a bite of funnel cake with a grin. âLet me guess. Youâve got a whole house full of strays.âÂ
You sigh, tearing off a piece, a good crispy bit with plenty of powdered sugar. âAnd a barn.â You have chickens and ducks and rabbits and goats that came to you post-Easter after people realized the fuzzy little things turned into full grown animals that needed housing and room. You have a conure that outlived its previous owner, and a bulldog whose tongue doesnât quite fit in her mouth, and the worldâs only sweet chihuahua who loves to snuggle and needs medication that seems to get more and more expensive every time you have to buy it. The reptiles came to you from a family whose child changed their mind, and the cat just kinda showed up at your door one day, the way they doâŠ
Most men who hear the extent of your menagerie swiftly run in the other direction. They think youâre a hoarder, or if they stick around they want to be the sole focus of all your attentionâand itâs just not going to happen. They leave after a month or so, or you run them off.Â
You have no reason to think this wonât end the same way.Â
âThatâs alright, darlinâ. Ainât nothinâ wrong with havinâ a soft heart for critters.â
They all say that at first.Â
Ah well. Itâs not like youâre looking to get married again, anyhow. You justâŠget a little lonely, sometimes, when itâs just you and the dogs and darkness outside.Â
âHmm. Thatâs not the review I usually get. So what about you? You know I have to ask if youâre really from Texas.â
He grins. âGuilty. But I live in L.A. now.âÂ
âOh yeah? Are you an actor?â
âI was a stuntman for a little while.â
âAnything Iâve seen?âÂ
He laughs, an open guffaw of mirth that makes his eyes shine and your heart fill to bursting. âWell, you look like a diehard fan of Death Charger II.â
âOh yeah, I used to watch that with my Grandma,â you tease.Â
He snorts and pulls off another piece of pastry. âIt was fun for a while, but I could tell I was just going to end up with a broken body and an empty bank account.â
âSoâŠwhat do you do now?âÂ
He looks up at you through those long dark lashes, and you swear to god your heart does a pirouette in your chest.Â
âI canât really talk about it,â he tells you, which you guess is actually a more honest answer than feeding you some bullshit lie. âPays well, though.âÂ
âOkayâŠthatâs not creepy at all.âÂ
He pays you that open grin and offers you the last little crunchy morsel from his fingertips. âDonât you worry your pretty little head, darlinâ. Youâre in good hands.âÂ
After a long pause you take the bite, your lips just barely brushing the tips of his fingers. But it ignites a fire in his eyes that has you squirming in your seat, your thighs unbearably moist. Thank god youâre wearing a black dress.Â
âLetâs walk around,â he proposes, and you agree, even if youâre afraid your legs might not work anymore.Â
***
Hand in hand, you wander the fairgrounds, people watching, talking, and playing a few games. Tex is fun, and he is sweet, never once letting go of your hand, except during the clown toss which he swears is rigged (and you agree). He makes a crack about his balls being too big to fit in its mouth, and you break down in a giggling fit as the two of you walk away. It feels a little bit like magic, wandering around amidst the bright lights and the warm night and for the first time in a long time, you realize youâre not afraid of running into one of Donnieâs clansmen with an axe to grind or family honor to hold up or some other testosterone-driven bullshit that terrorizes your waking hours and your nightmares.Â
âHaunted house?âÂ
âNo way.â
âSwings?âÂ
âDonât trust them.â
âRoller coaster?âÂ
âI like my spine aligned right where it is, thank you.âÂ
âHow âbout the ferris wheel?â Tex proposes with a lift of brows, and even though you know exactly what heâs up to, you finally agree. Tucked into the tiny bucket together in a space that is not meant for adults but god is it lovely to sit with your side molded to his, Tex sneaks his arm around you with a come-hither curl of lips.Â
âDonât even think about it,â you warn him with a venom you absolutely do not feel at this point. You make a show of leaning away, even though thereâs absolutely nowhere for you to go in the little compartment. Â
âOh, Iâm thinkinâ about it,â he assures you with a devilish glint in his eye, pulling you closer, and off you go in a big vertical circle. It is fun, to see all the lights and the people below, and the rodeo round pen on the other side of the grounds.Â
Then the ride stops with a grinding halt that doesnât feel quite right. The two of you are at the very apex of the wheel, on top of the world. You look around, a little nervous. Oh god, please donât let you get stuck here.Â
âItâs alright, darlinââ he soothes you, with a wolfish grin that is not comforting at all.Â
You can see the roping event with a birdâs eye view. You flinch as a cowboy throws a loop around a steerâs neck, jerking it around. At least the second cowboy misses the ankles. You stick your tongue out at them, knowing no one can see.Â
âAww, that little grass puppyâs fine,â Tex tries to assure you. âTheyâre pretty tough.â Â
Once upon a time your family made part of their living running cattle. You know theyâre tough, but that doesnât mean itâs fair to treat them that way just for fun. âThere are ways to train them without the rope, you know. Theyâre very food motivated.âÂ
âBut whatâs a cowboy without his rope, honey?â
âA farmer.âÂ
He chuckles at that. âIt just lacks a certain prestige, donât it?â
âFuck you very much. My familyâs been farming since before this place was even a state.â
He chuckles at your fiery response, clearly enjoying getting your goat. âErmâno offense.âÂ
âPssh. Itâs not about prestige. Itâs men and their testosterone poisoning, always havinâ to show off at everyone elseâs expense.â Youâre sure he wonât like it, but you say it anyway. You wait for him to get surly, like all men do when you say what youâre really thinking, and it occurs to you that maybe you should have waited until youâre not trapped in a tin can of an amusement ride with him before insulting him.Â
âHmm. WellâŠthere might be somethinâ to that.âÂ
He could have knocked you over with a featherâŠif you werenât already mashed into an enclosed seat with him.Â
âYeah, there might be,â you say more softly, quickly looking away when he tries to meet your eyes.Â
âHey now.â He strokes your arm with his fingertips lightly, drawing little circles and driving you crazy. âWeâre silly creatures, ainât we? I get it.âÂ
The fact that this man, who is 6 feet plus of pure masculine energy, would say such a thing to youâwell frankly it blows you the fuck away.Â
âShowinâ off is fine,â you sigh, still unable to meet his eyes. âItâs justâŠwhy does someone always have to get hurt for the sake of it? UsuallyâŠsomeone innocent.â
âYouâre right,â he agrees gently. âIt shouldnât be that way.â
Now you do get up the courage to look at him, though it feels like youâre drowning when you do. You really thought you had this manâs number. He dresses like a cowboy and drives a vintage muscle car, walks with James Dean swagger and he even punched a man out for you not but over an hour ago. But here he is, talking to youâŠlike women matter. Like you matter.Â
âWeâve been up here a really long time,â you muse, blinking the tears out of your eyes while you peer over the side.Â
âAh well. Iâm sure theyâll get us down eventually.â He does not seem worried at all. âI like the view.â Heâs looking at you while he says it, curling a little lock of hair from the nape of your neck around his finger, and an embarrassing shudder gallops down your spine. âHmm, someoneâs sensitive,â he says with a little smile.Â
You shoot him a glare out the corner of your eye. You donât think youâve convinced him by half.Â
âItâs just cold up here.â
It is the tail end of summer, and still 80 degrees out with the sun down. Â
âSure it is, sweetheart.âÂ
You sigh, and you donât know how itâs possible, considering your position, but somehow he seems to sidle closer.Â
âTex?âÂ
âYeah, beautiful?âÂ
You donât really know what you intended to sayâyou look at his mouth, those full, well-drawn lips, and you forget how to breathe for a few crucial seconds. You are lightheaded, the world spinning as he closes the distance, and gently presses his mouth to yours.Â
Someone moans, and only belatedly do you realize itâs you.Â
You feel him smile against your mouth, before going in for the kill, his long fingers sliding up into your hair to hold you to him. If youâd felt trapped you would have fought him, no matter how stupid and no matter how high up you were sitting in this rattletrap of a ride held together with rusty bolts and bubblegum. But you feelâŠfree, like for a few blessed moments, youâve found a part of yourself you left somewhere. A part of yourself you needed, even though you didnât realize it at the time of losing it.Â
You let this man devour you, his tongue sliding against yours in a dance you feel all the way in your clit. Pressing your thighs together does not help at all, and he smiles again like he knows exactly what your problem is. When his paw of a hand settles just above your knee, squeezing the soft flesh of your thigh, his thumb finding its way just past the hem of your dress, you smack your hand over his. âHold up, cowboy,â you pant, knowing you sound ridiculous but unable to put any real steel in your tone.Â
His eyes glitter like the night sky as he pulls back to look at you, breathing heavy through his nose. âYou sweet little thing. I could just eat you up.â He nibbles your lower lip again, and you think you might expire. He doesnât force the issue, his hand staying right where youâre holding it. You can feel your heartbeat in your ears, a steady timpani roll that does not help with your lightheadedness. The carriage sways slightly in the summer breeze, and youâre not sure that youâre not floating in mid air with nothing to catch you. Your grip on his hand tightens, desperately seeking something to ground you. Youâre not sure if this is a panic attack, or vertigo, or unadulterated lust.Â
âDonât get too full of yourselfâŠbut I think I might faint.âÂ
The hunger in his expression turns into concern. âYou alright, darlinâ?â
âJustâŠhold on to me, ok?â
âAlright, alright. You gotta breathe for me though. Deep breath.â You do as youâre told. âThen out.â You do this, and you close your eyes, and you start to feel better just as the wheel finally starts to turn again.
As excruciatingly fun as it was to be squashed together with this delicious specimen of a man, you are so grateful when itâs time to get out and put your feet on terra firma once more. Tex steadies you with an arm around your waist, and you just happen to be looking up at the right time to catch the ferris wheel operatorâs conspiratorial wink at your ad hoc date.Â
âSonofabitch. Did you bribe him to stick us up there?âÂ
Tex chuckles, flinching as you poke him in the ribs. âHey, you ainât even met my Mamma yet!â
âDid you?â you demand, unrelenting in your attack. He wiggles like he is ticklish, and you feel like you have stumbled upon crucial intelligence of the enemy.Â
âI might have slipped him somethinâ...â   Â
âYou imp! I thought we were stuck!âÂ
He is laughing as you tickle him and poke him, until maybe your fingernail goes a little too far in between his ribs and he grabs you up with a growl that you feel in your loins, putting a stop to your antics with your arms pressed to your sides and your body pressed to his. âYou ok? I didnât know you were scared of heights.âÂ
Youâre not really. Scared of feeling things, is another matter.Â
âIâm ok.âÂ
âGood.â He dips his head to kiss you again, and you let him for about 2.5 seconds before turning your head.Â
âTexâŠâÂ
âYeah, honey?â
âI thinkâŠI think I better go home.âÂ
His expression falls like you kicked his puppy. âOh. Did IâŠdo somethinâ? Iâm sorry, darlinâ.âÂ
He did somethinâ. Heâs done everything right, and suddenly you are scared shitless of where this could lead.Â
âNo, Iâve had fun,â you tell him honestly. âBut I have to work tomorrow, and Iâm tired. I should go home.âÂ
âOh.â He sticks out that pouting lip, and it really should be illegal for a grown man to look so adorable. âCan IâŠcome see you for lunch then?âÂ
âI guessâŠI canât stop you.âÂ
âWould you want to though?âÂ
Therein lay the million dollar question.Â
âMaybe not?âÂ
He smiles, and it feels like a special gift, just for you. âAlright. Tomorrow then. Let me walk you to your car at least.â
Considering what you got up to earlier that evening, it wasnât a bad idea. âOk.âÂ
You exchange one last lingering kiss before he tucks you down into your driver's seat and makes ao show of buckling you in. You know it's a ploy to feel you up a little but it makes you giggle anyway. âTexâŠI can buckle my own damn seat belt.âÂ
âI know, darlinâ.â He leans on the roof of your car, looking down at you like youâre something precious, preventing you from closing your door. You need to go because if you stay in his company any longer you are going to melt into a pile of goo.Â
âTexâŠâÂ
He sighs. âAlright, fine. Tomorrow. You better be ready to take your break with me.â He makes sure your legs are out of the way before shutting your door and tapping on the roof. Why do men do that, like a car is a horse? Giddyup. You think it would be horrifyingly hilarious, if your late-model car decided to play itâs occasional game of letâs not start until you try five times. But no, the old soldier dutifully responds to the turn of your key, and carries you away through the grass parking lot, onto the highway, and away from the man youâre afraid you would like to curl up in bed with and not leave for a month.Â
That man is pure troubleâŠand you are pretty sure you want more of him.Â

A drabble based off Samu's part of this post cuz I miss little haruki
summary: haruki has to hang out with his uncle 'tsumu while his parents are at the hospital
Atsumu and Haruki have been staring each other down since Osamu dropped him off ten minutes ago. Haruki has seen his uncle 'Tsumu many times before, even on TV, but never has his uncle babysat him.
"So kid... what do ya wanna do?" Usually when Atsumu's with his nephew it's under the supervision of you or Osamu. Being completely alone with him is new to both of them.
"Um. I don't know, do ya have any toys?" Your carbon copy asks.
"Nah, I don't play with toys, I'ma grown man." He explains to his nephew. The small child doesn't like that response, "When I'm a grown up I'm gonna play with toys!"
Atsumu ultimately forgets that Haruki is a little boy with childish ideas, so he chuckles at his statement.
"No ya won't, kid."
"Yes I will!"
"No ya won't."
"Yes I wi-"
"Hey! How 'bout we play some volleyball, huh?" The blond athlete realizes there is absolutely no point in fighting with a six year old.
"I hate volleyball, it's boring." A loud gasp escapes Atsumu's lips and he feels like he's been shot right in the chest.
"Yer lying, right? Haha that was pretty funny, made me laugh." He refuses to believe that any nephew or niece of his would hate volleyball. He has to be joking...
"'m serious! Papa took me to a volleyball camp last year 'n I hated it! Everyone was so mean to me 'n they kept telling me I couldn't hold the ball for myself." Well, there's the problem. As a six year old everything is about you, you, you. So, Atsumu assumes Haruki didn't like it because he wasn't the center of attention.
"Let me tell ya a lil' something. I'm gonna go get a volleyball and I'll tell ya this story while we're outside." Haruki's obviously skeptical of what his uncle plans on doing but he'll go along with it for right now.
The little boy sets his Sonic themed backpack down by the front door, when he makes sure all his toys are secure in his bag, he slowly stomps his way to the sliding glass doors that lead to his uncle's backyard.
There's a net that's way too big for Haruki to hit anything over it outside, which immediately discourages him. Atsumu soon returns with a volleyball in his hands, Haruki would assume with all that money his uncle makes he'd have a nicer looking volleyball, but the one he's holding is all beat up and dirty.
"Are ya too poor to get a better ball?" Atsumu doesn't even take it to offense because he knows Haruki is genuinely curious and not trying to be rude.
"Nah, this ball is older than ya are. 's the ball me n yer papa used to use when we were first startin' out." That seems to ignite a new interest in the little boy, well, if his excited gasps were anything to go by.
"I'ma give it to ya so ya'll have somethin' to use when you play." This isn't enough to convince Haruki to play volleyball but Atsumu's not done just yet. He still has to tell him the story, but first they have to set up the small net, so Haruki can hit over it.
Atsumu opens up his shed to find the little beat up box that contained he and Osamu's old volleyball net from their elementary school days.
"Woah! That net is the perfect size for me!" His nephew screeches in excitement.
"Yeah 's also older than ya." The two set up the net and Atsumu teaches Haruki the form to receive. He tosses the small boy a few so he can get used to receiving.
"Okay, so, I wanted to tell ya that, volleyball ain't all about you, but at the same time it is," Haruki doesn't say anything in return. No little kid wants to hear that everything isn't about them.
"I had trouble understandin' that m'self when I was growin' up. I thought- nah I knew I was the shit so I acted prideful 'bout it." His nephew gasps at him saying a bad word, but he doesn't interrupt his story.
"'n I really don't care who likes me and who doesn't. I was like that back then too, so I never really had anyone besides 'Samu to play with. Which was fine when we were young, but in a real game, ya need six people." Haruki nods his head to let his uncle know he's listening.
"I had to realize that volleyball was a team effort 'n I couldn't play the whole game, m'self," He pauses for a second to bump the ball back the Haruki.
"That was also when I started to realize, it really was all about me, 'cause if yer a good setter all yer hitters gotta rely on ya. They need ya to set to 'em." Haruki pauses for a second.
"What if I don't wanna set? I wanna be a hitter like papa was." Atsumu smiles at him.
"It applies to hitters too, if yer a good hitter then yer setter will most likely set to ya the most often, 'cause ya can score." Haruki's eyes light up with a new sense of hope.
"Will you teach me more about volleyball, Uncle 'Tsumu?" Atsumu's earlier dread has completely left his body, his nephew didn't hate volleyball, he hated not being the center of attention, just like Atsumu did.
The two go back into the house when the sun is almost down. Haruki had learned so much from his uncle, and he was excited to show all of it to you and Osamu.
Atsumu goes to call his brother to realize that he had missed 4 calls from him and a few texts with pictures attached.
"Haruki! Hurry up 'n get in here! Yer sister is born!!" Haruki comes running in with his new (old) volleyball.
"Lemme see her!!!" He tries to grab his uncle's phone.
"Be patient, ya little gremlin." Atsumu pulls up the picture and hands his phone to tiny, grubby hands. You look very tired, but a small smile graces your face and you're holding a tiny little bundle in your arms. The next couple of pictures are Osamu holding his daughter too.
"Ew, why is she so wrinkly?" Atsumu tries and fails to hold in a chuckle. His nephew's face is all scrunched up and disgusted.
"'s 'cause she was just born. She's been swimming 'round in yer ma's belly for the past nine months. Kinda like how ya stay in the bath for too long and yer fingers start to get wrinkly." Atsumu explains, Haruki's not convinced, at all.
"Ya looked the same way when ya were born." Haruki shakes his head so fast Atsumu wouldn't be surprised if his head popped off.
"Nuh-uh. I was never wrinkly!" Atsumu is quick to go through his albums to find the one of Haruki's birth.
"Yea ya did, look." Haruki takes a good look at the picture before jumping up in surprise.
"EWWW I WAS WRINKLY!!!!" He starts running around like a crazy animal on the loose, screams leaving his lips.
Atsumu snorts, "We were all wrinkly babies at one point." The setter also learns how rewarding being an uncle is.

A Mess || Part 8
New account! @ghostbones was banned! Transferring everything here starting with this series since it was the most popular!
A/N: this is not the last part I promise
Summary: You finally make it to the town you set out for all those days ago. Feelings get shared when you find a place to stay for the night.
18+ MDNI || WARNINGS: profanity, suggestive
"Can't believe we left the map." Daryl shook his head as he drove. He finally got one of the cars working, though it had a strong gasoline smell as he drove it.Â
"You were in charge of it." You pointed out.
"Don;t need it anyhow." He defended. Men and their pride when it came to directions never ceased to amuse you. "Should be 'bout thirty minutes up this road. We can load up some while we're there, get gas, hole up of the night, and loot s'more before we head back tomorrow."
"Sounds great." You agreed. "If I have to go one more day without a shower I'm gonna kill someone."   Â
"Can barely fight a walker off of ya. Who you gonna kill?" He teased.
    "I was distracted." You defended.
"With what? The view?" He retorted. Well, yes, but you couldn't tell him that.
"Whatever." You grumbled, crossing your arms and turning your attention out of the window.
It wasn't long before the town you two originally set out for rolled into view. You spent an hour looting an old thrift store for some clothes and random things you thought the prison could use. Board games, soaps, hairbrushes, plates and bowls, you name it. If they had it, you took it. Next was the pawnshop for guns and ammo, which were pretty sparse but they did have some good knives and machetes. You also found an old DVD player and some movies that you thought might be nice for Carl or something. Daryl focused more on equipment. Golf clubs, tools, lawn equipment for when everyone started working on the garden.
On your way out of the pawnshop with your load of treasure, you noticed a flyer on the window. 'MONTHLY FOOD DRIVE - DELIVER ALL GOODS TO 227 PINEBLUFF CT DR'
"Hey, check this out." You called Daryl over. He squinted as he read it.
"C'mon. Town's small. Can't be too hard to find."
----
It wasn't hard to find. It was a church, of course. Wasn't hard to clear the place out, either. Just the pastor and a few ladies stumbling around. They had a bunch of canned goods stored in an office, which you and Daryl happily loaded up in the car.
"Think this is a good spot to crash for the night?" You asked him.Â
"Nah. Windows are all busted. We'll find a little house or somethin." He said.
So, when you guys were done with the church, you drove around for a little while, siphoning gas from random vehicles and searching for a house suitable for the night. He settled on a little blue house, with a fenced in front and back yard. He reasoned the fencing was good added protection. Plus, the windows looked to be in tact and overall the place looked untouched.
There weren't any walkers inside, but there also wasn't any food. There was, however, running water. Whoever these people were, they ran their house off filtered rain water.Â
While Daryl was working on blocking all the exits off with furniture and nailing blankets over the windows so nothing could see inside, you opted for a shower. It wasn't hot since the house had no power, but damn was it nice to feel clean. Well, as clean as you could get with no soap, anyways. The towels were all dusty, so you drip dried when you got out. When you were dry enough you slid into the extra outfit you packed, and found your way back out to Daryl. He had the house as safe as he could get it by then.
    "All yours." You told him.
    "Nah." He shrugged.
"Uh, you smell like a biohazard." You insisted. He glared.
"Yeah, shoulda smelled yourself. By day two in that tree house you were chokin' flies." He shot back.
"And, would ya look at that, I showered!" You sneered. He huffed a little breathy laugh and shook his head as he grabbed his bag and disappeared to the shower.
You were hungry, so you decided to light the gas stove and heat up a can of Campbell's chunky beef stew for the two of you to share. By the time it was done, he was out, so the two of you ate in silence before tossing the emtpy can and borrowed spoon in the sink.
"It's not even dark yet." You commented.
"Yeah. Best to get to bed early. We can head out first thing, make it back home by tomorrow night." He reasoned.
    "Guess so." You agreed.
"Guess? You don't wanna get back?" He questioned.
"And give up our quality bonding time?" You joked. He scoffed and shook his head. Damn, you were a smartass.Â
"'S that what ya call it?"
"Yup. What else would it be?"
"Thought we were stranded on an island." He recalled.
"Oh, that. No, I was just hungry." You shrugged. "Never take me seriously when I'm hungry. I become a different person, really."
He rolled his eyes a little. "Still wanna play that game?" He asked.
    "What game?"
    "Twenty questions."
"Twenty-one questions, Dixon." You corrected. "And sure. You go first."
"Alright." He nodded, pondering for a moment. He had a million questions he could ask, but somehow they felt too personal. Did you miss Shane? Were you ready to move on? Did you like him, or were you just a tease? Why did you always pick on him? Was it the same reason he always picked at you and gave you shit? "How ya like the shoes?"
"They're good." You nodded. "I love them. Thanks again. Uh.." You thought for a second. "How long do you wanna grow your hair out?"
"I dunno." He shrugged. "What'd ya like to do before the world went to shit?"
"Hmm... Paint, listen to music, go go out and eat my weight in food from little hole in the wall restaurants." You recalled. "What kind of music do you like?"
"Whatever was on the radio." He said. "You plan on movin' on?"
That was an okay question to ask, right? He broke the ice pretty well, he thought, with the rapid fire Q&A flying between the two of you. He realized maybe not, though, because you seemed to really take your time with that one.
"Don't see why not." You finally said. "I mean, he would, right? As long as I thought I found someone who would treat me right... Are you seeing anyone right now?"
You asked the question so casually but it choked him up. He felt so naked, like a chicken with all its feathers plucked off one by one.
"No." He cleared his throat. "Nah."
Uncomfortable silence blanketed over the two of you.
    "Your turn." You reminded him.
    "Oh. Are you?"
    "Am I..?"
"Seein' anyone." He clarified. You giggled a little.
"No. But I have met someone. Real nice guy, actually. He gets me gifts and teases the hell out of me, but I think he'd do just about anything for me." You smiled to yourself. He had to know you were talking about him, right? Wrong. He was clueless. Right over his head. He admittedly felt sad to hear it. Who was this guy? He kind of sounded like everything Daryl tried to be for you. "Do you like anyone?" You asked, taking him out of his swirling thoughts.
"Nah." He shrugged. A lie, but everything he had tried to work up to was washed away when you said you met someone.
"Oh." You said, slight sadness hinting in your voice. "Your turn." You reminded him again.
    "Who's the guy?" He asked.
"Oh, you don't know him." You waved him off. If you could slap yourself, your would. What kind of lie was that? He knew everyone. There were literally less than ten of you if you didn't count the baby.Â
"Oh? Some kind o' pen or somethin'?" He furrowed his eyebrows in confusion. Then it hit him; you were talking about him. That's why it sounded like everything Daryl tried to be for you, because it was him. "Oh." He blurted quietly.
Your face felt like it drained of blood completely. Well, way to completely humiliate yourself around the only real friend you had, huh?
    "You okay?" He asked.
"Yeah." You nodded, forcing a smile, but your voice was sort of meek and squeaky. You shook it off, reminding yourself that you were, in fact, not the type to falter under pressure. This would be no different. So what if you liked him and he didn't feel the same? You could get past that. It was nothing--
"(Y/N)." He snapped you out of your thoughts.Â
    "Hmm?"
"You asked if I like someone..." He trailed as he shifted uncomfortably.
    "Yeah?"
"It's just -- I do, but... How do I know she likes me too?"Â
He didn't make eye contact as he asked. In fact, he looked quite literally everywhere except at you.
"You just... ask. And if you don't wanna ask... Make your move." You shrugged.
    "Right." He nodded.
Well, that conversation had gotten awkward enough for you, so you figured that was a good place to end it. You cleared your throat and stood up.
"I'm gonna go choose a bed." You announced.
You went to walk past where he sat on the couch but he stood up abruptly and cut you off.
You looked up at him with confusion. What did he want? Your nerves were eating away at you and you were honestly pretty tired. You shifted your weight anxiously.
"Daryl--" You went to complain about it but he had other plans. He gripped your arms firmly and smashed his face into yours. Like, actually smashed. It hurt. "Ow." You mumbled as you rubbed over your mouth. He gulped. It was supposed to be a kiss. Was he always so clumsy?
    "Sorry, I--"
"Were you trying to kiss me?" You asked. He just stared at you. "'Cause, I gotta tell ya,you could really work on your technique." You smirked.Â
When he remained frozen, you began to feel bad for teasing him. He clearly had no idea what to do now. His hands were even still rested on your arms.
"Here, let me show you." You whispered. You reached up for his face, his hands sliding softly off of your arms. When your palms found his checks, you tippy-toed up a couple of inches, and slowly leaned in, placing your lips softly on his. It wasn't a long, rhythmic kind of kiss. It was just simple and soft, and it lasted just a few seconds longer than a quick peck-and-go.
His eyes were still closed when you pulled back, a tiny smile slowly spreading over your lips. When his eyes opened,he looked disappointed, like he was waiting for more.Â
He leaned down slowly, a little unsure. He was waiting for you to stop him, but you didn't. You pushed yourself back up on your toes o close the gap and snaked your arms around his neck. This time, it was deeper. You slowly moved your lips, allowing him to find the rhythm and synchronise. When he felt a little more confident, his hands gripped your hips and he quickened the pace.
Slowly, he eased you down onto the couch. You gladly followed his lead. When you were comfortably seated, his lips peeled away and his kisses found their way down from your cheek to your neck to your collarbone. Oh, this was going to get good.
A/N: next part will be spicy ;)

Good Mornin'
â§Summary⧠Billy wakes up early to take care of your baby boy and prepares a sweet surprise for his wife for a cozy morning in bed.
a/n: this is my first Billy fic so I hope yâall like it. it's just something cute and fluffyđ«¶đŸ
Unlike most mornings where you were the first to wake up (if your little Theo hadnât beaten you to it), Billy was the early riser this time around. However, unlike other times heâd woken up earlier than usual, his early rising this morning had no obligations for him to be anywhere but home with his family.Upon waking up, Billy was immediately met with the soft babbling of Theo in his bassinet on your side of bed. He slowly inches out of his side of the bed, making sure to not disturb you. Your husband rounds the bed to get the baby, dressing himself in his discarded clothes from the night before on the way over.
âGood morninâ little guy.â Billy whispers with a wide smile, reaching down to pick Theo up out of the bassinet. âDid you sleep well?â He continues on, quietly bouncing back and forth with the baby.
âSince itâs just you and me, how about we do something nice for mama huh?â Billy whispers down to Theo, his eyes immediately turning up to his father at the mention of you. âIâll take that as a yes.â He chuckles. Billy reaches down to pull the covers further up your body before leaving the room, closing the door behind him.
Billy had the thought of making a nice breakfast in bed for you and had enlisted the help of Theo. First on their agenda was to pick out to a couple of flowers for a little sprucing. He let Theo grab whatever his eyes landed on (and plucked a couple with less crumpled petals) and headed back inside to get started on cooking.
With Theo on his hip your husband singlehandedly, quite literally, cooked a miniature breakfast spread for you. He made a little something for the baby, feeding him as he cooked to tie him over until you fed him.
ââââ
When you woke up you were a bit more refreshed than usual, appreciating the extra time you got to sleep. However, you were a bit confused to find Billyâs side of the bed empty and the bassinet next to you was empty as well. You were pleasantly welcomed though, by the smell of food coming from the kitchen.
You pull back the covers and smooth out your nightgown, leaving the bedroom and making your way to the kitchen to investigate. And as you approach the entryway, your eyes fall on your husband towering over the kitchen counter cooking with Theo on his hip. You couldnât help but to melt at the sight.
Without making a sound you step into the kitchen behind him, wrapping your arms around his waist and resting your head between his shoulder blades.
âGood morningâ You mumble against him, your words vibrating through his shirt.
âGood morninâ honey.â Billy replies through a smile.
âCanât go dissapearinâ on be like that.â You playfully scold. âI donât like waking up by myselfâ
âI know, but I got a little somethinâ for ya. Supposed to be a-â Before Billy could finish his sentence, Theo cuts him off, wanting to get your attention. âSeems like someone wants to talk to ya.â He chuckles motioning to the little boy clinging to him.
âGood morning my beautiful boy.â You coo, softly pulling the little boy from his fatherâs hip, immediately leaving kisses all over his chubby cheeks.
âI thought I was your beautiful boy.â Your husband pouts, exaggerating the puppy dog eyes and pouted lip.
âYou are, heâs just a bit cuter.â You reason, lightly tickling the babyâs pudgy tummy, causing an immediate stream of giggles that absolutely melt both you and Billy.
âI guess you got me there darlinâ.â He concedes, beaming down at you and Theo. âHow âbout you two go back to bed so that I can still try and surprise you.â
âYes daddyâ You whisper just for him to hear as you reach up to peck his lips before heading back to your shared bedroom.
âWhat am I gonna do with youâ Billy chuckles to himself, finishing up the remainder of your breakfast that was sizzling in the pan. âŠ.. Not long after you and Theo get all snuggled up and cozy underneath the warm covers, Billy is making his way back into the bedroom. He carefully walks down the hall and into the room tightly holding a tray with the food heâd made for you and a jar containing the small bouquet of wildflowers he and Theo picked earlier in the morning.
âNow what were you and daddy up to while I was asleep?â You happy whisper down to your son who was beaming at the reappearance of his father.
âWe figured weâd take care of you the way you always take care of us darlinââ Billy says, gently placing the tray down on the bed in front of you and pressing a kiss to your forehead before rounding the bed to get back in with you.
âYou two are the sweetest boys in the worldâ You gush.
âWell youâre an even sweeter mama.â Billy lovingly counters, leaning in to plant a proper kiss to your lips.
âI love you.â You contently sigh against his lips
âAnd I love you more doll.â Billy replies, leaving your with one more kiss before settling back into his spot next to you. âNow eat up darlinâ, donât want you eatinâ a cold breakfast.â Your husband instructs, removing Theo from your arms to free up your hands to eat.
Unlike most mornings where you were the first to wake up (if your little Theo hadnât beaten you to it), Billy was the early riser this time around. However, unlike other times heâd woken up earlier than usual, his early rising this morning had no obligations for him to be anywhere but home with his family.
Upon waking up, Billy was immediately met with the soft babbling of Theo in his bassinet on your side of bed.

When you woke up you were a bit more refreshed than usual, appreciating the extra time you got to sleep. The three of you end up spending the rest of your morning in bed, too wrapped up in each other to even bother doing anything else.
