Tae has also individually gotten less popular and I think that contributes too. I know pjms say jkkrs are JK biased but tbh in my experience they're mostly Jimin biased with a fair bit of double biased and JK biased mixed in. They dislike Tae for pretty much the same reasons pjms do and just like our dislike for him has grown in chapter 2, so has theirs. And apart from the dislike that stems because of Jimin-Tae relationship, everyone lost some respect for him the way he handled the whole Jennie situation, or the durag / n-word situation. I would bet that if this whole thing with ays had happened three years ago, it wouldn't have gotten so bad.

Having seen KTHS giddy over a google trends chart with them blatantly lying about Taehyung being the top person search for AYS when he was 8th. Ntm JK and Jimin were actually 1 & 2 that they just up and ignored. Yea like they’re in the gutter. 😭

I still believe the bulk of jikookers are JK biased, cause a lot of them do not treat Jimin like he’s an actual person with individual goals and wants, but instead someone’s whose main purpose is to date his bandmate. I also don’t think Taehyung getting more hate from people have to do with a loss of respect for him. Especially when we’re talking about people who didn’t even bias him in the first place. People have just now come to see him for the pretentious self absorbed hack he’s always been.
