Tine’s character analysis
After ep 7 I definitely came to conclusion that TINE HAS pretty LOW SELF-ESTEEM. That, in turn, helped me comprehend WHY HE WAS SOOOO DENSE when it came to Sarawat’s advances. And his character literally blossomed in my books. So here’s my points on that:
1. ‘I’M NOT WORTH YOUR TIME’
Tumblr media
He said it twice in only seven episodes. When a person says and even repeats such things, you just know it’s not a coincidence, but a mindset. He said it to both - the guy he has absolutely no affection for (Green) and to the one he kinda has (Wat). You may argue that he said it to Green just to be kind, but did he really have to use this words each time. Physiologically it screams that deep down he thinks he’s not worth much. It brings us to point two.
2. PLACES OTHERS ABOVE HIMSELF it’s all well and good until it comes to “what he wants matters less than what people around him want”
If you look closely, when he’s not messing around, he’s one caring guy. We don’t get to see it that often due to the fact that story mostly revolves around romance, but it is there in little things.
Tumblr media
The thing he did on a Scrub consent was a big example. He is a big fan, but still chooses to sit one out to let the band he likes rest. This trait is inherently a very good thing unless it spills into point 3.
3. HE CAN’T SAY “NO”. Like at all.
Tumblr media
He halfheartedly rejected Green. He goes out of his way to get rid of him, but almost never face to face in a serious conversation. And kinda keeps hanging out with him, thus leading him on. I’m not saying hanging out with Green is bad, but he could have done it after completely sorting things out. Green is pushy, over the top sometimes, no one denies it, but if Tine was more assertive he would have back off.
Tumblr media
He kept literally enduring Mil’s touches and that selfie. Tho he clearly didn’t want to take a picture or let Mil pat his head, but Tine never said so - just kinda went along with it.
Tumblr media
Even small things, like when Wat’s friends asked him to celebrate after the game, he clearly didn’t wanna go much, ‘cause he was coming in terms with Wat’s kiss. Still he didn’t say ‘no’. He just never does. The only time I remember him saying ‘no’ is to Wat’s asking to help him clean the room...and in the end he still went to do it.
Such behavior goes back to point 2. It’s easier for him to endure something than hurt somebody’s feelings.
4. HIS CONFIDENCE IS ‘ALL TALK - NO ACTION’ (as is his Chic persona). There are dozens of examples of that. Lets grab the obvious and our (and Wat’s) favorite - Tine’s boobs.
Tumblr media
He offered to let Wat touch them several times, but backs off really really fast. When it come to flirting he blushes almost on each Wat’s line. Wat’s one-liners are embarrassing as fuck, I won’t deny it, but it’s besides the point. If Tine claims to be such a player, it wouldn’t made him uncomfortable one bit.
5. NONE OF HIS PREVIOUS CRUSHES HAD ANY MAJOR FEELINGS FOR HIM
As far as we saw, from the little pieces we’ve got, Tine was always trying harder than the other party. Maybe that made him lose a bit of hope and believe he’s not worth anything genuine.
Tumblr media
To one of his girlfriends he says “Whatever I did, I apologize”...yes, one more little dot: he apologizes first not even knowing what the fault was. So when Wat was coming to him with his whole package of feels, Tine simply couldn’t believe it. And thought Wat’s was simple making fun of him.
Tumblr media
HE SIMPLY CAN NOT THINK THAT HE's WORTH THE WHOLE LOT that SARAWAT'S GIVING HIM. He wasn’t really dense - simply didn’t believe in it. He always thinks Wat’s serious about someone else and with him he’s just fucking around. Just like in scene when he saw Wat patting Earn’s head and sharing earbuds - it’s just one more reason for him not to think they had anything special as Wat’s just playing around. And everything was fake like the rest of his previous experiences.
6. Deep down TINE BELIEVES WAT’S BETTER THAN HIM
He looks so playful all the time, but when the serious talk starts you can almost feel his insecurity. In the “break up scene” he say to Wat what he thinks is the best option.
Tumblr media
“Find perfect girl like yourself - stop wasting time on me - and yes, I really want that - i want you to be happy - as you probably won’t be happy with me”. Even as he sees that it hurts Wat, he’s not violating “not hurting feelings” point, ‘because he genuinely believes it’s for the best.
Tumblr media
And when he hears Wat at last say that he likes him for real and liked him for a long time - look at his face...he's so shocked. And you can somehow see that he's grateful for such affection, not just ‘cause Wat’s is that super alpha guy, but because Wat feels so deeply for him. Especially in the scene with patting of the head - he inhales air in far away shot.
All I can say that after seeing this patterns - I appreciate his character a lot more. It just makes sense to me. I kinda started understanding where his actions are coming from. His behavior is very consistent, when you view it from this angle. I don't know if that was intentional, but that's how i see it now. The character with insecurities is always an interesting one.
Such a long ramble, damn. I just had a lot of feels after discovering the perspective of Tine's character. The catalyst for that was "break up" scene and behavior at the concert. Then all previous scenes just clicked and came together. Let me say, this whole article is just my subjective opinion, I completely understand if u disagree, pretty much wanted to share my thoughts on the point, that’s all.

Just finished watching 2gether: The Series and that high five after all that *unnecessary* drama in the last ep is really frustrating (and actually kinda funny lol) huh. But yeah, sarawatine made up for it by being cute and adorable. I would kill for even a warm hug or holding hands while they were watching the Scrubb concert tho 😫😅🙃
Tumblr media
Starting Still 2gether already and I'm not expecting anything anymore. Just gonna enjoy the adorable head pats that wat give tine and the cute smiles that tine give back huhuhuhu 🥺🥺
But Mantype tho!!! That couple is something else. God. They deserve a separate post from all the uwus they made me feel 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼

so @tharntypesupportclub & i were both doing the same ship tag the other day, and i got earnpear and they got saratine. when asked ‘who spends the most while out shopping,’ we both answered pear and tine respectively. we then continued to say that earn and sarawat would carry all of their bags for them. and, because of that, this fic was born.
it’s completely ridiculous and silly, but i think it’s cute. whipped boyfriend/girlfriend culture as well as mlm x wlw solidarity? what could be better!
Sagging further into his chair, Sarawat sighs. Elbow nudging the girl in the chair next to him, he asks, “How long have we been here?”
Lifting her head from where it’s rested against the wall behind her, Earn clicks open her phone. Flashing him the screen, she says, “At least an hour. Probably longer.” She lets her head fall back again with a hard thunk. “Why do we agree to this every time?”
“Earn, Earn!” Pear skids to a halt, thrusting a soft cream sweater into her girlfriend’s hands. “What do you think? Will it match that black skirt I just bought? The one with the gold belt?”
“Wat!” Tine appear beside him, holding two shirts next to his face. “Which one? I have nothing like the blue one, but the striped one would go so well with these brown pants I found.”
Two sets of wide eyes blink hopefully at them. Sarawat shoots Earn a knowing glance, to which she only nods. “Oh, right; that’s why.”
Tine is helping Pear find a necklace to go with a dress she picked out when a store clerk approaches them with a smile and a coo. “You make such a lovely couple. It’s so nice seeing a young man so invested in his girlfriend’s interests.”
Tine shares a glance with Pear before the two of them burst into a fit of giggles. The poor store clerk, bless her, looks so confused. Quick to compose himself, Tine shakes his head and wipes a tear from his eye.
“You misunderstand,” he tells her. “We’re just friends.”
Pear nods next to him, swallowing back the remainder of her laughter. “Tine is really cute, but he’s not exactly my type.”
“Aw.” Tine slumps down to rest his cheek on top of his head and lets out a dramatic breath. “But I have just as nice of a chest as Earn does.”
“Don’t believe everything Sarawat tells you.” Swatting him away, she runs her fingers through her hair as she pouts at him. “And stop messing up my hair. I spent extra time curling it this morning.”
Tine resorts to poking her in the side instead, chasing after her when she jerks out of the way. “And why is that? Excited for your date? Still trying to impress your girlfriend even though you’ve been together for ages, and you’ve got her completely whipped?”
“You’re one to talk!”
Their banter only continues, and at some point, the store clerk just walks away.
“Sarawat,” Pear calls sweetly. He turns around, and just as he tilts his head down to look at her, she’s shoving a stack of dress shirts, all a mixture of different rusty orange and red tones, into his arms. He clutches them to his chest, blinking at her in confusion. But before he can ask any of the questions rushing to his mind, she says, “Tine says he likes this color on you best.”
With none of those dozens of questions answered, he can only ask, “Okay. So?”
She huffs, nose scrunching in frustration. “So, I’m doing you a favor. Now, come on.” She spins him around in the direction of the fitting rooms and nudges him towards them with a hand to his back. “Let’s see which ones he likes best!”
There’s not much he can do; Pear asked something of him, and honestly, he doesn’t know how to say no to her.
“Every time we come here, you never buy anything,” Sarawat points out. They’ve been dragged into a shoe store and have taken refuge on a long leather couch. “Come to think of it, I don’t think you’ve ever even tried anything on. And you seem to like clothes well enough.”
“I do,” she says, fixing the beret atop her head. “It’s just easier to shop online. Less stress, less of a time commitment. Besides, I couldn’t shop for myself if I wanted to.”
As if on cue, Pear comes towards them, three shoeboxes in hand and a smile on her pretty, pink painted lips. “I saw a few more I want to get in my size. But.” She calls attention to the boxes, lifting them a bit higher for emphasis. “I can’t with my hands full. Could you watch these for me? Please?”
Sarawat finds it funny that she thinks she even needs to ask, what with the way Earn’s gaze softens as she holds her hands out to take them. Pear’s smile widens, and she places the boxes onto her lap. Leaning down to press a quick kiss to her cheek, she scampers off down another aisle.
“See what I mean?” she says, holding onto the boxes with one hand as she rubs the lipstick stain from her cheek with the other. “Can’t shop for myself when I’m with Pear. Not enough hands.”
Scoffing, Sarawat says, “You give in to her so easily.”
Earn raises an eyebrow. “Really?” She points behind him. “Want to try that again, hypocrite?”
Turning in the direction of her finger, he sighs when Tine smiles at him sheepishly. He can only wordlessly hold out his hand to take his boxes from him and mutter to Earn, “Not a word.”
Pear has a personal vendetta against whichever member of her family cursed her to be so short. Sure, people find it cute, but it’s not cute at all when she has to stand on her tips toes, bounce on the ball of her feet, even jump to try and get something off the high racks of clothes.
Just as she’s about to give up on the cutest yellow sundress, a hand shoots above her head and grabs onto the hanger. Her savior soon turns into her enemy when he only holds it over her, swinging it back and forth teasingly.
Pear doesn’t know why she’s surprised to find Tine smirking down at her when she turns around. She’d happily wipe that satisfied look off his face, if only she could reach. Instead, she juts out her hip, puts one hand on it, and holds the other one out expectantly.
“Come on,” she says. “Give it here.”
Tine hums in thought, “I don’t know. Should I?”
“Yes,” she says, easing up a bit, hoping the littlest bit of sweetness can get her what she wants. “Please, Tine?”
“I don’t know,” he sings, burying any of Pear’s plans on taking the nice route. This absolute tree of a human is playing dirty; so can she.
“If you don’t, I’ll tell Sarawat,” she threatens, though it seems to do little. Tine only holds the dress up higher. With no other choice, she goes in for the kill, “I’ll tell Earn then. Oh, I see her now. Earn!”
Tine shoves the dress into her face before she can continue. Hanging it over the crook of her elbow, she grins and pats his arm. “Pleasure doing business with you.”
Sarawat is used to sitting in front of fitting rooms with Earn, waiting for their respective significant others to model whatever clothes they’ve chosen, but there’s something different about it this time.
Tine steps out in a light blue sweater in that typical style he favors – high neck with a white collar poking out. His hair is slightly tussled from tugging it over his head, and he’s looking at Sarawat for approval.
He motions him forward with the wave of his hand. “Come here,” he says. Tine only tilts his head to the side, and god, could he be any cuter? He waves faster. “Come here.”
When he steps close enough, Sarawat wraps his arms around his waist and pulls him in between his legs. He ignores the little yelp Tine gives, burying his face in his stomach instead. The fabric of the sweater is soft, and Tine’s signature scent has already started rubbing off on it.
Chuckling, Tine cards his fingers through his hair. “Does that mean you like it?” he asks as he strokes his hair. Sarawat hums, and Tine just laughs some more. “I’ll take that as a yes.”
“This is so unfair,” Sarawat mumbles.
“It’s rude,” Earn agrees with a firm nod. “Why will they hold each other’s hands but not ours?”
Tine and Pear stop walking and turn around to look at their significant others with matching smiles. “Because the mall is about to close, and Pear is as short as a middle school student,” Tine answers.
Adding to his point, Pear chirps, “And Tine is tall enough to see over everyone, so I won’t get lost in the crowds.”
“You could hold my hand,” Earn grumbles.
Pear fixes her with a soft, amused look. “You’d have to let me carry some of those bags then, sweetie. I’ve offered, but you won’t let me.”
“Why would I let you carry them?” Earn asks, as though the very idea of doing so offends her. “I can carry them for you; you don’t have to do anything other than stand there and look cute.”
“And hold my boyfriend’s hand apparently,” Sarawat interjects.
“Do you want me to take some of the bags you’re carrying then?” Tine asks. When he reaches out to grab for them, Sarawat holds them closer in defense. Sighing, Tine shakes his head. “Boyfriends.”
“Girlfriends,” Pear sighs along with him in solidarity.
They start walking again, sharing a fond look as the two behind them start up their complaining again. They’re both ridiculous, but they love them. So it evens out.

Late Night Pampering
Tumblr media
A/N: This episode killed me with its cuteness, like oh my gawd. Why can’t I have what they have XDD Anyways, the scene from the gif above inspired this fanfic. I cannot wait until the next episode because oommgg it looks like shit is about to go down XD I hope you guys enjoy the fic!!!
Summary: Tine comes back home late from managing the cheer squad and when Sarawat see how truly tired his boyfriend is, he decides to give him a night full of love and relaxation.
Word Count: 1389
Tumblr media
“Wat, I’m home…” Tine called out, his voice full of sleep as he entered the quiet condo, the sound of his boyfriend moving around the kitchen vaguely catching his attention. Shutting the door behind him, Tine kicked off his shoes, not caring if they were messy or not at the moment, and placed his bag on the table, his figure slumped as he scooted towards the kitchen. Replying back to him, Sarawat finished putting the rest of Tine’s dinner together before arms wrapped around his waist and a face was buried in his shoulder. Letting out a soft snicker, Sarawat reached back and pushed his fingers through Tine’s soft hair, scratching lightly and smiling when Tine let out a noise of content, leaning into his touch. “I’m so tired...being the president is so tiring!”
“Aw, come here. Let me console you,” Sarawat whispered, turning in Tine’s hold so they could be face to face. Feeling his smile dim for a moment when he noticed the dark circles he could see under Tine’s eyes, Sarawat reached forward and gently cupped his cheeks, rubbing his thumbs softly as he traced the bruised looking skin. Letting out a sigh as he relaxed in his boyfriend’s touch, Tine closed his eyes and loosely wrapped his hands around Sarawat’s wrists, just holding him there like he didn’t want him to move away. “Tine...are you sure being the president of the cheer club is worth it? You look so exhausted…”
Letting his eyes flutter open as he took in the sound of Sarawat’s concerned voice, Tine hummed and nodded, knowing that even if Sarawat didn’t like the answer, he would support him nonetheless. Tine knew that it was going to be a lot of work and he really didn’t want to let P’Fang down with deciding now to not do it. Letting out a breath through his nose but agreeing with his boyfriend, Sarawat knew he wouldn’t be able to change Tine’s name, so the only thing left to do is just be there for him whenever he got back like this. Tugging Tine close, Sarawat brought them into a hug and held him tightly, rubbing soothing circles into his back as Tine snuggled into him, becoming like jello in his hold.
“Come on, I made dinner. Eat and then take a shower,” Sarawat softly ordered, pulling away once he was sure Tine was satisfied with the hug. Keeping his hands on Sarawat’s waist, Tine whined when his boyfriend pulled away but he knew he was right, so with a pout, Tine let him go begrudgingly and sat down at the table, rubbing his tired eyes as Sarawat fetched his dinner, placing the leftover stir-fry they had the day before in front of him. Ruffling Tine’s hair again, Sarawat grinned at the smile Tine sent his way before he left him alone to eat, heading towards the bathroom to get things ready. If he knew Tine, his boyfriend would love to relax in the tub instead of having to stand for a shower. “Where’s the bath oil he just bought...oh, there it is.”
Digging through the cabinet underneath their bathroom sink, Sarawat pulled out a scented oil that smelled like vanilla which he knew was Tine’s favorite scent. Getting the bath together, filling the tub with hot water, knowing it would cool down before Tine even came into the bathroom, Sarawat added the scented liquid to the water and used his hand to stir it around, letting it evaporate and make the water smell good. Glancing over the body and reading all its benefits for healthy skin, Sarawat smiled fondly and moved to put it back, turning off the water when the tub was filled. Gathering some towels and the shampoo they used, Sarawat sat on the toilet seat and waited for his boyfriend.
“Oh...I thought I was taking a shower...you didn’t have to do this, Wat…” Tine mumbled as he stepped into the bathroom, taking in the warmth of the air as he noticed his boyfriend waiting for him and a full bathtub. Dismissing the statement right away, Sarawat nodded towards the bathroom, causing a snort to come out of Tine. Choosing not to argue the loving act, Tine sluggishly removed his clothes, trying not to blush when he could feel Sarawat’s eyes taking in his body as he undressed. Stepping into the tub carefully, Tine couldn’t help the noise of relief that escaped his lips as he settled back, the warmth and scent of the water taking all the tenseness away from his limbs as his body finally relaxed. “Okay...I admit it. This is nice. Wait...what are you doing?”
“I’m going to wash your hair...unless you don’t want me to?” Sarawat responded, grabbing a stool and placing it near the bathtub as he got comfortable. Blinking as he took in what Sarawat said, Tine hummed and relented, leaning back against the wall of the tub as Sarawat grabbed the cup they used to rinse their hair, filling it with the water and carefully pouring it over Tine’s head, being mindful of his eyes. Once he was sure Tine’s hair was soaked, Sarawat poured some shampoo into his hand and began to gently lather it in, scratching at his scalp lightly that made Tine shudder and lean more into his touch. “Just relax and let me take care of you, yeah?”
Nodding softly as he decided to just that, Tine basked in the comforting silence that grew around them, letting himself be pampered. Making sure all of Tine’s hair was covered in bubbles, Sarawat let the shampoo sit for a moment while he rubbed Tine’s shoulders, rubbing his thumbs against a knot he could feel until he got it out, Tine slumping back against his touch even more now. Using his one hand to cover Tine’s eyes, Sarawat began to rinse his hair out, making sure to get all of the soap out while he did so. Feeling his eyes beginning to grow heavy, Tine failed to stifle a yawn while Sarawat finished up, running his fingers through his wet hair, searching for any more soap spots. Finding none, however, Sarawat put the shampoo back and moved the stool out of the way, making Tine watch him with a sleep filled gaze.
“Come on. The last thing we both need is for you to fall asleep in the tub,” Sarawat chuckled fondly, holding his hands out for Tine to take. Not even bothering to hide another yawn, Tine nodded and slowly stood up, taking Sarawat’s hands as he got out of the bath, being handed a towel once he was steady on his feet. Draining the bathtub while Tine wrapped the towel around his waist, Sarawat grabbed another one off the rack and laced their hands together, leading a drowsy Tine towards their bedroom. Letting him get dressed, Sarawat patted a spot on their bed and Tine gladly took it, sitting down while Sarawat stood between his legs and began towel drying his hair. “Are you feeling a little more relaxed now?”
“Mhm…” Tine hummed out, his eyes beginning to shut as Sarawat ruffled his hair dry. Noticing the way Tine’s body began to slump, Sarawat finished quickly before he tossed the towel in their laundry, smoothing Tine’s hair down when it stuck up in all directions. Leaning into his touch, Tine yawned once more and wrapped his arms around Sarawat’s waist, burying his face in his boyfriend’s stomach. Chuckling softly, Sarawat continued to pet Tine’s hair for a moment before he gently pushed him back, urging him to get into bed. Letting a pout sit on his lips as he did what he was told, Tine buried himself under the blanket Sarawat put on him, not wasting a minute to trap Sarawat once more when he got into bed as well. “Thank you for everything today, Wat.”
Shaking his head softly to dismiss the thanks, Sarawat pulled Tine closer and sighed, burying his hair in Tine’s damp hair as his boyfriend’s arms wrapped around him, their legs tangling together under the blanket. Pressing a kiss to his forehead, Sarawat mumbled his goodnights which Tine illegibly gave back and it wasn’t long before both of them were asleep, cuddled together under the warmth of the blankets.

Okay so I haven't written anything in forever but here is a stupid cute sarawatine thing :)
-----
Tine blindly stumbled his way to the kitchen, he was half awake and by now it was dark outside. He had spent the whole day in bed, skipping class in favor of sleeping through his pain.
Well, he wasn't sure if he could label it as pain. If you asked he would say the pain he felt was either in his heart or his brain, maybe both, maybe neither. Either way it hurt too much for him to get up and face the world on days like today.
To be fair he didn't have depressive episodes very often anymore, not since he had moved in with Sarawat to their new place that was a little closer to campus.
Sarawat really helped to mold Tine's mind a little better, he convinced Tine to go to a therapist and even joined him in session a few times. Tine really felt that they could be together forever with the way Sarawat helped him grow into himself and make him feel more confident.
Anyways though, healing was not linear and sometimes Tine felt sad for no reason. Like today when he woke up and told his boyfriend that his head 'felt like rocks' and maybe he should just stay in bed today. Of course Sarawat would never push Tine, just gave him a kiss to his head and headed out to class. Tine rolled over to Sarawat's side of the bed, breathed in his scent and had fallen back to sleep.
Now Tine was standing in his kitchen, squinting his eyes open to figure out the time. Sarawat should definitely be home by now, it's very possible he came in to check on Tine earlier while he was asleep. Tine also hadn't looked at his phone this whole time so he didn't know if his boyfriend had left any messages.
Opening the fridge Tine peered inside to see if he could find some kind of sustenance considering he hadn't eaten anything all day. He grabbed for a leftovers container and started to pull apart at the cold chicken while leaning over the kitchen sink. He zoned out in order to get the food down and didn't notice that Sarawat had just arrived home.
"Aiya, you scared me little buffalo!" His boyfriend said turning on the light.
"What are you doing standing in the dark?" He said walking over to him.
"Too tired to turn on the light" Tine mumbled into his cold chicken.
"And you're eating cold chicken over the sink? Please don't tell me that's not all you've eaten today. I knew when you didn't respond to any of my texts I should've come home early." Sarawat said, voice laced with concern.
"It's okay Wat I'm a big boy, I was asleep all day anyways it's not like you could've done anything." Tine said putting down the food to look at him.
"I could've held you while you slept" Sarawat said with such sincerity it made Tines heart melt.
"You're cheesy" Tine said smiling and reaching up to poke his boyfriend's cheek with his finger covered in chicken grease.
"Hey you're asking for it!" Sarawat said starting to chase his boyfriend around their small apartment.
Tine raced out of the kitchen, weaving through the few pieces of furniture they owned before Sarawat tackled him into the couch, attacking him with kisses all over his neck.
"I take it your head doesn't feel like rocks anymore?" He asked him after Tine calmed down from a fit of giggling.
"Mhm" Tine answered with a smile still on his face.
"Now can I make us some real food or did that cold chicken fill you up?" Sarawat asked starting to pat down some of Tine's hair that had gotten messed up in their chase.
"That sounds nice yeah."
"Anything for my little buffalo." Sarawat said before leaning down to kissing his boyfriend.
Tine melted into the feel of Sarawat above him, making a little contented sigh before he pulled away.
"I love you." Tine breathed out.
"I love you too."

fic: everyday from now on
sarawat/tine. 1039 words. pg.
(or at ao3)
-
Flash.
It's too bright. Sarawat scrunches his eyes and burrows deeper into the curve of Tine's neck, except instead of soft skin, his cheek finds the rough blankets. Disgruntled, Sarawat props himself up on one arm as the other blindly searches for Tine, eyes blinking open and his mouth stretching in a yawn.
'Shit, shit, shit!'
'What are you doing?' mumbles Sarawat.
Tine fumbles with his phone, nearly drops it, and hastily hides his hands behind him with a nervous laugh. 'Oh, uh, nothing. I'm doing absolutely nothing!'
Sarawat yawns again and rakes a hand through his hair. 'Were you taking photos of me? I think I saw a flash.'
Spots of red bloom on Tine's cheeks. He sits there, still hiding his phone behind him, fidgeting like he's been caught doing something illegal. The longer Sarawat stares at him, the lower Tine's blush spreads. Sarawat's gaze follows the colour down to Tine's bare collarbones and he licks his lips. He smirks, eyebrow arching when Tine blows out a defeated sigh and pulls his hands back to the front.
'Fine, I admit it, I was taking photos of you. But you're my boyfriend, so it's fine!' Tine bites his lower lip. 'Right?'
Sarawat resists for about three seconds before remembering he doesn't have to anymore. Smiling, he gestures for Tine to come closer with his fingers. Tine obeys, which is thrilling. Sarawat feels his lower half stirring with interest but ignores it for now. When Tine is close enough, Sarawat curls an arm around him and drags him back down until Tine is sprawled on top of him. Tine blinks down at him.
'How long have we been dating?' asks Sarawat.
Tine says, '35 days and a half.'
'And are you my boyfriend?'
'I hope so.'
'Do you like me?'
'Are you just fishing for compliments?'
Sarawat pouts. Tine sighs and dips his head in a sweetly shy gesture. Sarawat pinches his cheek and Tine makes a sarcastic face at him but doesn't shove him away.
Sarawat goes on, 'And do you take photos with the flash on?'
Tine scowls and hits him on the shoulder. 'That was an accident! I didn't realise the flash was on.'
Sarawat runs his thumb down Tine's spine and back up again. Tine squirms, which doesn't help Sarawat's morning wood. Focus, Sarawat tells himself. 'So, you really were taking photos of me while I was asleep.'
Tine looks chastised. 'Wat, are you mad?'
Surprised, Sarawat stops his gentle stroking. 'No.'
'I mean, I thought — you have so many pictures of me and I don't really have any of you. And this morning, you looked so cute sleeping that I couldn't help myself, I had to take your picture, even though you hate it when people take pictures of you. People always ambush you with their phones. Seriously, you're a walking hazard. The second you appear, bam! More than a dozen people are willing to throw away their lives for a single photo of you. That sucks. I wish they'd leave you alone.' Frowning, Tine cups Sarawat's face in his hands and turns it this way and that, eyes intent. 'You're too fucking gorgeous. You should do something about that.'
Sarawat grins, his heart throbbing.
Tine lets out a frustrated sound. 'And you smile more in public! Do you know what the people in the Sarawat wives gc talk about when you smile like that?'
'I can't believe you're still part of the group chat, Tine.'
'Duh, you always have to be aware of your competition.'
Sarawat bumps his forehead lightly against Tine's jaw. 'You don't have to worry about that.'
Tine rolls his eyes. 'Whatever.'
'Anyway, I'm not mad,' says Sarawat, continuing his soft touches, fingertips swirling on Tine's lower back. 'I do hate it when other people take my picture but you're not other people. You're mine. You can do anything you want to me.'
Tine looks absurdly pleased, as if he doesn't know that already. 'Really?'
'Yeah, don't be stupid.'
Tine shoves Sarawat's face away with his hand. 'And don't be an asshole. Can I really take your picture?'
'I don't know, can you?'
Smiling brightly, Tine sits back up and grabs his phone. Tine ends up straddling Sarawat and it's incredibly distracting, and Sarawat opens his mouth to say something when the flash goes off directly into his eyes.
'Shit, sorry, Wat, I forgot the flash again!'
Sarawat blinks away the stars in his eyes. Tine's contrite face looms above him.
'Give me that,' says Sarawat, grabbing the phone from him. 'Between the two of us, you're the real hazard, Tine.'
'But — '
Sarawat stretches his arm out and angles the phone until both of them are in frame. Tine turns his head so his profile is visible, and Sarawat smirks. He takes a picture. Tine makes a panicked noise — 'We're both naked!' — and tries to grab his mobile, but Sarawat evades his hands and snaps another photo. 'Sarawat!' Tine exclaims, and Sarawat winds his arms and legs around Tine and flips their positions around. Tine is laughing even as he's trying to steal his phone back, and Sarawat places an elbow above Tine's head, lowers his own, and flashes the camera a cheesy grin as he takes one more picture.
'Asshole, asshole, asshole!' Tine chants, trying to squirm free, but Sarawat's thighs keep him firmly pinned down.
Sarawat opens Tine's Instagram, makes a new post, chooses the last photo he took, and types a long string of hearts and tags himself before posting it. Instantly, Tine's phone, and his own lying on the floor, chime with notifications.
'Wat, you didn't!' gasps Tine.
'Yep,' says Sarawat, unrepentant, and tosses Tine's phone carelessly behind him. He grabs Tine's flailing hands and holds them down on either side of Tine's head. Tine scrunches his face. God, Sarawat loves him so much. Bending down, he kisses Tine slowly, sweetly, kisses him until the scowl melts away; opening up and inviting Sarawat to deepen the kiss with his lips and tongue. Sarawat bites down on Tine's lower lip and pulls back, mentally patting himself on the back when he sees Tine's blown pupils and flushed cheeks.
'Now, Tine, it's time to start the morning right.'

got a secret, can you keep it?

Summary: Tine and Sarawat kiss and their friends didn’t know they could do that.
Words: 2164

You know, it shouldn’t come as much of a surprise to Tine. He, for starters, was really bad at drinking, and to add to that, Sarawat looked really, really hot. So, when Sarawat openly flirted with him with his face that close, Tine couldn’t stop his drunk self from kissing him in front of everyone.
Which wouldn’t have minded either of them if they were, you know, out as a couple.
Now, I know what you think, these two have been flirting (although it was mostly Sarawat saying the cheesiest and most cringey things Man had at least used once and making Tine blush) for so long that everyone was getting suspicious of their relationship status, but ever since they started dating, they had decided to keep it secret to adapt to it before being out to everyone and having thousands of people judge them, and Tine in special. So, basically, it was kind of like taking care of a cat before being thrown to hungry tigers, and neither Tine or Sarawat wanted to be eaten alive, thank you very much.
It seemed logical at that moment. Sarawat had been openly flirting with Tine since the start of the year and no one would suspect anything if he kept it up, Tine could blame the blushing in his cheeks, his neck and his ears on the heat or the sun hitting too hard. All probable possibilities of slipping out had been thought of and talked about, they wanted to be serious and not have their relationship invaded by others.
The only one they overlooked was both of them being drunk which cost them, well, a drunk make-out session in front of every single one of their friends, who were, by the way, very shocked (on Tine’s side) and cheering them on (on Sarawat’s side).
The couple, completely unaware of their surroundings, separated to breathe. Tine wore a small smirk on his face and Sarawat found himself a little dumbfounded because holy shit, Tine was so hot.
“That-” Sarawat tried to say. No words other than hot, really hot and the hottest thing ever came to his head. Tine really outdid himself and made him the speechless one.
Tine kissed him one last time and smiled. “Yeah.”
If Sarawat was honest with himself, if he really wanted to, he knew he could spend every second of his life kissing Tine’s lips and never get tired of them. But he needed oxygen and he definitely a drink to calm himself.
Although, when he turned his head to get his drink and drown it, he didn’t expect to see his friends and Tine’s friends looking at them with a face that very clearly had “What just happened here?” written on it.
Oh.
Oh.
Oh shit.
Sarawat turned his head towards Tine, who somehow was still unaware of the stares of both of their friends and was looking at him like he wanted to keep doing what they were doing minutes before for the whole night, and if Sarawat didn’t physically feel his friends trying to unlock his brain to get the answer with their eyes burning on the back of his head, he would’ve definitely complied and spend their whole stay on that bar kissing the life out of him.
But, as of that moment, Sarawat was panicking, and even a drunk Tine could notice something was wrong because he frowned at him. Look at your right. Sarawat said with his eyes, trying to point at their friends. Tine’s frown deepened. Sarawat slightly moved his head towards the direction where their friends were looking at them, still waiting for an explanation. Tine, still frowning, followed his head and saw his friends.
What was so shocking about their friends? Yes, they had started to hang out together more ever since a very sober Sarawat kissed him and they both confessed to each other that night but they didn’t know-
Oh.
Oh.
Oh shit.
Tine’s eyes grew comically bigger and turned his head to Sarawat, who was already looking at him with the same expression. Tine was suddenly sober and felt his ears and cheeks get even redder. Sarawat would’ve caressed his cheeks (and maybe even kissed them) if their friends weren’t watching, but they very obviously were, and seeing how the couple didn’t say a word, they had decided to start asking questions.
“So,” Man started, getting the attention of everyone on the table. “Since when have you two been together?”
Tine and Sarawat looked at each other. Who should start answering? Tine asked with his eyes, which Sarawat answered with You start, I can’t barely form a single sentence right now without needing a break. Tine looked like he got the gist of it.
Tine cleared his throat. “Two weeks ago.” His voice barely reaching Ohm, who was sitting furthest from him.
“What? Did the cat get your tongue? Or was it Sarawat?” Ohm teased and everyone in the table laughed. Tine’s blush now reached his chest and he cleared his throat again.
“Two weeks. It’s been two weeks. I asked Sarawat,” at that, both Boss and Man looked surprised at Sarawat and it was Sarawat’s turn to feel hot rising to his cheeks. “and I kissed him afterwards. Just like they say, third time’s the chance.” Tine couldn’t stop the smile that came to his face, that was one of his proudest moments and Sarawat’s reaction had been the cutest.
“Wait,” Peuk said. “Third? What about the first and the second? Why is this the first time I hear about a kiss?” Ohm and Fong agreed with him.
“They kissed at Tine’s while Sarawat was drunk, that’s definitely the first!” Boss half-yelled at them and Sarawat could feel the stares of Tine’s friends on him. Sarawat understood, he wasn’t particularly proud of their first kiss since he couldn’t remember how Tine’s lips felt the next morning.
“And the second?” Fong asked Boss and Man, who looked like they knew more than them.
Boss and Man looked at each other with a I have no idea face and facing the couple, Boss said “I have absolutely no idea.”
Everyone in the table turned to them and Sarawat took a sip of his drink. He was about to answer when Tine started to speak.
Looking at his friends, Tine said “You guys remember when I was really sad and weird for, like, three days, right?” Ohm, Fong and Peuk nodded.
“Oh, so you were all depressed because of Sarawat?” Ohm interrupted. Peuk hit his head.
Tine blushed, “You could say so. Sarawat told me he was the same, as you guys probably noticed,” he said, now looking at Man and Boss.
“Well, he was more mopey and angry than usual-” Sarawat hit Man’s head. “Shut up.”
“Before those three days started, Green came into my apartment and told me the truth about him having a boyfriend and-” I have no problem with that but Green kind of does. Tine remembered P'Dim’s words and stopped himself. He took a deep breath. “Well, the day after that, I told Sarawat that now that Green was out of the picture that we, uh, could stop the fake flirting. Which then lead to those, uh, bad days.”
Tine felt Sarawat’s hand on his thigh and slightly smiled at him. “That we all know, now tell us the interesting part.” Boss expressed and everyone voiced their agreement.
Sarawat rolled his eyes and Tine took a sip of his drink, this is going to be embarrassing to explain.
“I saw Sarawat’s post and I decided to go to his house to talk, but then I found Man,” Man nodded when they all looked at him, “and he told me the story behind the photo and told me that Wat liked me since last year’s Scrubb concert.” A tiny smile appeared on Tine’s lips as he heard his friends teasing him for using Wat. “He also told me where Wat was so I went to where he told. On the way there I found P'Mil,” Tine felt Sarawat’s grip on his thigh tighten and he put his hand over Sarawat’s. “And he touched my head for some reason, which made me really uncomfortable and I don’t know what could’ve happened if Wat hadn’t appeared.” Tine’s friends looked at him with a hint of worry in their eyes but Tine smiled at them, hoping it would reassure them that he was okay. “Anyways, Wat and I got into a bit of an argument and to, uh, shut me up, he, um, kissed me.”
“Now, that’s the Wat I know!” Man exclaimed as he patted Sarawat’s shoulder, the smile in Sarawat’s lips nothing but smug. Tine couldn’t help but blush again when his friends whistled.
“That’s the second kiss then?” Ohm asked.
Tine nodded, “Pretty much.”
“Nothing else happened?” Ohm insisted.
“We talked about our feelings after the kiss, if that’s what you’re asking,” Sarawat added.
Boss boo'ed, “You guys are no fun, you should’ve kept kissing and had sex somewhere.”
Tine choked on air. Sarawat patted his back, and if Tine wasn’t literally choking, he would’ve told him that he had to pat his chest, not his back, saraleo.
When he stopped coughing, Sarawat gave him his drink and while Tine breathed normally, he took the turn to talk. “I wished I could’ve kissing him more but it was all that was needed in that moment,” Sarawat smiled.
“Tine, my friend, you turned Wat into a whole sap.” Man commented and everyone on the table laughed.
“Wait, I have another question,” Fong said and the couple looked at him, already expecting the topic of the question.
“Is it about the third kiss?” Tine asked.
Fong nodded. “It happened two weeks ago, at my apartment.” Sarawat answered.
“No more details?” Boss asked, obviously disappointed at the lack of information.
Sarawat sighed, “I asked Tine to stay over because it was late and since Phukong wasn’t staying that night, I told him he could sleep on my bed-” Man opened his mouth to say something but Sarawat glared at him and he closed it, “but he preferred the sofa. So when I thought he was asleep, I went to lie down with him and sleep with him, but he was wide awake. He let me lie down with him and after a few minutes, he asked me the question and when I said yes, he kissed me.”
He said it with such a calm voice that the blush on his face and chest looked out of place. Tine knew why Sarawat had decided to change and omit some parts of the story, those were for them only, so when their friends looked at him, he nodded with a smile on his face.
“Interesting… Well, now that we know about that, it’s time to ask Tine something,” Man looked at Tine and Tine got nervous.
Sarawat felt Tine tense and intervened. “What is it?”
“Wat, it’s okay,” Tine mumbled.
“So we all know that Wat likes you since that Scrubb concert last year, but since when do you like him?” All their friends voiced their wonder.
Tine thought about it for a few seconds. “I can’t really pinpoint it, but I remember that the first kiss made me feel a type of way that was really similar to the feeling I got when I kissed someone I had dated before. I guess it wasn’t until I spent days without any contact with Wat that I felt somehow heartbroken and understood that my feelings weren’t a seeing a dude and thinking he was hot or handsome, even if that’s not the case here, but more of a I want to kiss and date that dude.”
“Has it ever happened before?” Peuk couldn’t stop himself from asking.
Tine shaked his head. “Never with a man and never like this. It’s weird, so many feelings and so extreme, but it feels nice.” Sarawat looked at Tine and smiled. He was happy to be Tine’s first (and hopefully last) boyfriend.
“I don’t have any more questions,” Ohm confessed and everyone agreed.
Man poured the rest of his beer onto his cup. “Well, I say we cheer for the new couple. Who’s with me?” He raised the glass.
A chorus of “Me!” and empty beer bottles accompanied it.
Sarawat filled both Tine and his’ cups and they both raised them.
“Cheers!” Boss yelled and started to clink everyone’s glasses.
“Cheers!” All their friends followed just as loud (and maybe even louder).
“Cheers to us,” Sarawat told Tine, with such softness in his smile and happiness in his eyes that, on that moment, Tine swore to himself he would always try to make him at least half as happy.
“Cheers to us,” Tine told Sarawat, with such fondness in his smile and cheerfulness in his eyes that, on that moment, Sarawat swore to himself he would protect him until the very end of the world.

Thoughts on 2gether ep7
“if you were my boyfriend I would kiss you everywhere from your hair to your shadow” listen, Sarawat, LISTEN you cant fucking do this to me not even 5mins into the episode
YOU CANT
ALSO if I do NOT get Sarawat making good on all these big promises he keeps making to Tine about kissing him like there’s no tomorrow I will CRY and it will be UGLY
god damn, Sarawat smiling and laughing openly made a bitch lose her marbles
the bitch is me
I like how Air’s entire character so far is summed up pretty much as I have got no time for these dumbass gays in love with other dumbass gays
*Dim looking to choose a female lead for Sarawat’s music video* “stop it, Green, I said female” ok that one got me laughing
omg, that snack scene where Tine teased Sarawat was adorable and I love seeing Tine grow so much more comfortable around Sarawat to the point where he’s starting to tease him back
oh finally! the truth about Green and Dim is out; I’m so happy we wont have to deal with this anymore
I know I’m probably the only one who didnt particularly like Green and the way he was acting with Tine so I’m very glad he admitted everything and went back to Dim
though the implications of their relationship being abusive are... worrying to say the least; I already made another post about it so I wont say much more here but in conclusion - I am confused about the whole thing and I hope it was a case of wrong translation or context rather than what it seems like
on the bright side though, can we give a clap to the Best Boy(TM) in this entire episode who straight up punched a guy without knowing even who he is to protect Green and then refused to leave him with Dim when he thought Dim might do something to him
“even if you are his boyfriend, you have no right to hurt him”
that’s some good shit right there
Tine’s slow descend into jealousy is a delight to watch
the look on his face when he was watching Wat and Earn *chef’s kiss*
ok that break up scene BROKE my heart too damnit
watching the absolute heartbreak on Sarawat’s face while Tine said everything he could have said to rip his heart to pieces honest to god made me tear up
THAT POOR BABY NEEDS A HUG
“Keep it [the guitar]. It’s been yours since day one” guitar=heart metaphor recieved loud and clear through my tears THANKS A LOT FOR THAT
also you know shit hit the fan for real when Tine spent this entire conversation half naked and Sarawat didnt even look at his boobs
and now Tine is just casually hallucinating Sarawat around town because that’s what you do when you break up with your fake boyfriend as per the rules laid out in Twilight
can we talk about the fact that Tine dreamt about Sarawat’s kiss and telling him not to him on anyone else and it was the most tender thing ever?
oh damn, is Tine going to figure out Wat’s liked him for  along time now? YEEES PLEASE DO
WAIT, he’s going to figure EVERYTHING out niiiiiiiice
Tine’s braincells are working at full capacity today, wonder if it was something he drank
can we also talk about Tine not wanting to take a picture with his favourite band because he didnt want to bother them any more than they were already??
he really be the best boi
hot damn, possessive!Sarawat is too hot
Tine seems to think so too going by the fact that he wrapped his entire self around Sarawat to lead him away
also love how he leaned away from Mil trying to pat his head
head pats are reserved only for Sarawat and that’s that on that
I LOOOOOVE this ending scene so much, the way they threw everything out in the open, the way Sarawat brought back his earlier confession but he made sure Tine knew it was real this time and how Tine leaned INTO his touch and how he said Sarawat should take responsibility
Tine be living that 18th century fair maiden Dream(TM) and Sarawat’s prbably planning the perfect wedding proposal already
HE’LL TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOY ALRIGHT
“I thought you liked Earn” aaaaand there go Tine’s braincells again
it was nice while he had them
but we love him anyway and more importantly, so does Sarawat and now THEY BOTH KNOW HOW THE OTHER FEELS PRAISE JESUS

I’ve been thinking what if Tine had gone to Sarawat’s room? Cuddling is coming next ep, but we still coulda had some this ep? Plus, I adored Tine basically ignoring his idiotic friends and being only excited for Saturday, even standing up the studying group because he promised to cheer:
Sarawat continued to lazily hold onto Tine, making him slide the door open. He was yanked inside as if Wat thought for a minute he’d change his mind about staying over. First of all, he was still miffed he didn’t have clothes or a toothbrush. Second of all, well...he had no fucking clue why he agreed to stay. Well, he knew, he’d never admit it out loud just yet. If those attacking Sarawat did ambush him and Tine had been the one to leave him, he’d never live that down. Sarawat hurt in any way, is the last thing Tine ever wants to see. Suddenly, Tine found himself sitting on the edge of the bed, a head on his shoulder and hands clinging to his arm again. He sheepishly smiles. Sarawat looks at him with sleepy eyes. “You should get to sleep.”
“Uh-huh,” Wat whined. “Not yet. I like this.” Tine took a deep breath. Might as well sleep in his uni clothes. What’s the point of changing out of them? He might be able to borrow one of Wat’s shirts, but pants? Tine’s next moves were involuntary. He wrapped an arm around Wat’s shoulder and scooted them up onto the bed. Wat easily settled into his chest, and when Tine glanced down, he noticed watery eyes.
“Wat? Does something hurt?” Tine thought that he was squeezing too hard or that maybe his lips still hurt. Wat gulped, propping his chin onto Tine’s chest. “I never thought this would actually happen.”
“Yeah, well, it is. Just go to sleep.” Tine didn’t feel like making a big deal out of it. He already knew what his heart was doing and he liked it. He already knew that he had Sarawat’s, plus, exhaustion was creeping into his body. He glanced down again, smiling at the scene. Wat had finally fallen asleep, looking beautiful as ever. Tine softly patted his head and then let hands fall to his back. His eyes drifted close and somehow he knew this would be one of the most peaceful sleeps he’ll have in his lifetime.
-
The next morning, as they were getting ready to part for classes, Sarawat reached out to ruffle his hair. “Remember, nuisance, wear my football jersey and shorts to cheer for me.”
Tine feels the blush in his cheeks. Sarawat’s eyes sparkle with adoration and then he walks away, cheeky grin forming on his lips. Tine stands mystified and confused but also incredibly happy. He shakes his head and starts moving his feet. Tine wanted this part of the day to be over, he didn’t want to deal with his annoying friends, he didn’t even want to deal with classes. He wanted it to be game time.

a sarawat x tine drabble. part 1
Tine saw that something had changed in Sarawat’s eyes after he had come back from talking to Pear. Even though he couldn‘t quite place the emotion, he knew something was wrong and being the curious man that he was, he asked Sarawat about it. What he didn‘t expect was for Wat to huff and leave him.
Of course Tine couldn‘t just let it be and ran after his friend. Barely catching him, damn Wat‘s football training, Tine grabbed his arm and effectively stopped Sarawat. Clearly annoyed, the other boy glared at him. “What is it?” he snorted. “I have no idea what just happened but something is clearly wrong with you. What happened? Did your fans annoy you again or did you realize you forgot to do an assignment on time?” God, Sarawat was boiling internally, why was Tine so dense?
Before he could stop himself, he blurted something out, that had not only Tine freeze on the spot, but also himself. Fuck. Did he really just confess to Tine? With the other boy understanding his intentions?! Oh, good God, please have mercy on me, please let Tine be as unknowing as all the other times before, pleaded Sarawat. ‘No! It‘s because you‘re so obtuse and don‘t even notice that your flirting hurts me because I like you!”
But the gods weren‘t merciful with him today, because Tine‘s mouth was still opened in shock and he pointed from Sarawat and then to himself. “You- You like me?!” As Sarawat had already said too much to turn the situation around, he (hopefully) appeared calm as he decided to reply “Yes. I‘ve liked you for such a long time! And I‘ve told you on so many instinces that I feel more than just friendship for you but you never realized it. You never once took me seriously.”
With Wat‘s emphasis on ‘such a long time‘ Tine seemed to have finally fully absorbed the new information, that caught him oh so off-guard. He would‘ve guessed so many different things – from indigestion to stress with his family or school problems, but not that Sarawat, his friend Sarawat, liked him more than he ever could. Guilt clouded Tine‘s thoughts and Sarawat visibly gulped, when he saw him starting to bite his lips and lower his eyes. Wat knew. He knew that Tine didn‘t think of him in the same way he did but actually seeing Tine confirming his presumptions felt like he was being stabbed in the heart.
“Wat,” Tine softly started talking, finally looking at him again “I‘m so sorry. I always thought that everything you did was for show. I truly didn‘t know. I am deeply sorry. Especially because I can‘t reciprocrate the feelings. Wat, I love you like a friend, like a brother but not as more.” Sarawat felt tears pool in his eyes. He didn‘t want to show this weakness in front of Tine so he tried to swallow all of the sadness and raised his head to look at Tine. What he didn‘t expect was to literally start sobbing when he met Tine‘s incredibly soft and sorry eyes. He saw it in them, his friend was being genuine.
Wat was incredibly angry at himself, why did he have to blurt out the true nature of his feelings in a way that Tine actually took them serious for once? He wanted to slap himself for being so unresponsible. Did he just ruin his only really close friendship with his confession? Did he break their bond? Could they ever go back to being as comfortable as friends as they were before – with Sarawat pining after Tine without him knowing and flirting in front of the school with the reason to protect him from Green?
Sarawat didn’t know how much time had passed since he started crying. What he knew though was that Tine‘s try to calm him down – a few awkward pats on the shoulder – only worsened the situation. He had to get away from him or else he would break, right here in front of the man, who just broke his heart. “Tine. Tine, I need time for myself. Go. I need to go.” he stumbled over the words as tears still flowed from his eyes. Without waiting for Tine to answer, he turned around and ran.
Sarawat didn’t know how he had made it to his dorm wihtout getting into an accident, but he was very thankful for the familarity that waited him in his small apartment. With that also hit the familarity of having Tine with him. Cuddled in his blankets he thought of the many times, that Tine had showed up at his doorstep with the plea of being fed on his lips or him forcing Tine to help clean up his room or Tine with his guitar sitting on Wat’s bed waiting for him to show him how to play a new chord or teaching him to play a Scrubb song. Slowly, Sarawat felt the tears coming to a stop. The pain, however, didn’t subside. It had turned into a dull ache that made it hard to breath for him. He still, somehow, fell asleep that night.
He knew that he should probably call his little brother in the morning. As much as he hated to admit it, but he loved him lots and knew that he would have his back, no matter what – and being one of the few people to know of Sarawat’s real feelings for Tine also played a crucial part in that decision.

an in-depth look at/rundown of 2gether the series: ep 1
i know we all love to tease tine for his obliviousness, but this post by @the-wayside got me thinking a lot about the complications of their relationship and the mixed signals sarawat’s sending. so since i was rewatching the series anyway, i decided to make this post (and maybe more for the other episodes too) that breaks things down from each of their perspectives. feel free to let me know if i miss (or misinterpret) anything ^^
• = from tine’s perspective/where his head is at
• = from sarawat’s perspective/where his head is at
• tine’s just desperate to get green to leave him alone (pro tip, green: no means no). he’s tried everything he can think of, and then his friends have this wild idea that a fake boyfriend will do the trick, and convince him that sarawat’s the best guy for the job. he’s really willing to do anything to get sarawat to help him, but first he just needs to get in contact with him
• and he also thinks sarawat’s a conceited asshole
• meanwhile, from wat’s perspective: a cute boy he bumped into at a concert a year ago seeks him out, gets tongue-tied, calls him an asshole to get his attention, quickly apologizes, & still can’t get out whatever he wants to say
• “keep looking at me like that, and i will kiss you till you drop. you’re annoying”
• wat won’t hear tine out and leaves
• wat gets an email that reads “hi sarawat, i’m tine. the one you said you would kiss till i dropped the other day. i need to ask you a favor. are you available tomorrow? meet me anywhere. i don’t mind the place.” he had not given this person his email. (cute boy’s rly desperate to get in contact with him 👀)
• tine has a nightmare(?) where wat comes to his place misinterpreting what he meant by “help” in the email & tries to kiss him
• he wakes up & gets an email back that reads “i can’t believe someone just emailed me asking for sex. it can be anywhere, you said? you fuck yourself, you psycho!”
• so tine continues to think wat’s an asshole for this reply (even tho getting his email from someone other than wat himself was totally an invasion of privacy !!! come on bb)
• tine proceeds to chase wat down in his car on a bike, reminds him again of the “kissing him till he drops” statement...
• wat gives tine ten seconds and when he can’t form a complete sentence in that amount of time, he leaves
• tine still can’t find the words to say whatever it is he wants to say so wat’s just outta there lmao
• “i followed him like a shadow but he still didn’t care to talk” but let’s not forget mr. chic likes a challenge 😏

Carry Me
Tumblr media Tumblr media
A/N: I’m back and I seriously can’t wait for Friday XD I took a bit of a break from writing because I wasn’t feeling that inspired to do so, but now I do so I’ll be working on the prompts I have waiting for me! @whatisadecentusername, thanks for requesting this fic! I hope you and everyone else who reads it likes it <3
Summary: Tine makes the decision to take Sarawat home after he’s beaten up and when he complains about not wanting to move, Tine decides to carry him back to his condo and take care of him while he’s at it.

“Sarawat? Sa-ra-wat!” Clenching his eyes tighter as he heard the voice of his crush calling out to him, Sarawat grumbled something that Tine couldn’t hear properly before he clutched at his arm tighter, burying his face deeper into Tine’s shoulder. Letting out a heavy sigh as he was forced into a more tighter cuddle, Tine tried to pull his arm out of Sarawat’s hold but failed when the boy whined and squirmed closer to him. Stopping his attempts of escaping Sarawat’s grasp, Tine tapped his foot against the cement and glanced around, taking in how the stars were twinkling in the dark sky and how there was basically no one around, just a couple of cars passing by here and there. Letting his eyes shift back to Sarawat, who had finally quieted down, Tine bit his lip as he groaned softly, knowing that he wouldn’t be able to drag Sarawat back to his condo with him this tired and sore from the fight he was in. “Sarawat, it’s getting late...come on, get up so I can take you back to your condo.”
“Don’t wanna...you’ll have to carry me up to my bed if you want me to move,” Sarawat grumbled, nuzzling his face deeper into Tine’s shoulder as he let out a contented sigh, letting his eyes open slightly so he could look up at Tine. Taking in what Sarawat had told him, Tine narrowed his eyes and stared into Sarawat’s sleepy gaze, not seeing an ounce of him joking in his eyes. Rubbing the back of his head as he thought about his options, Tine finally let out a groan and relented. Blinking lazily as he was shifted around, Sarawat didn’t have time to think as Tine heaved him onto his back, his arms curling safely around his thighs as he jerked him up a bit higher in his hold. Wrapping his arms around Tine’s neck softly, Sarawat buried his face in them as he clung to Tine, dozing off comfortably as he felt the boy easily carrying him like he weighed nothing. “Can’t believe you’re doing this…”
Rolling his eyes as he heard Sarawat’s sentence, Tine held onto him tight, still being careful about the wounds that Sarawat had on his body. He knew that the boy was sore so he tried not to jostle him around too much as he walked, letting out a sigh of relief as he noticed Sarawat’s condo coming closer in the distance. Stepping slowly up the stairs, Tine glanced over his shoulder to observe Sarawat, taking in how the boy was dozing off, his eyes clouded with the promise of sleep. Feeling a soft smile rise on his face as he took this in, Tine turned his attention back to climbing the stairs and before he knew it, they were in front of Sarawat’s condo. Hearing a grumble come from him, Tine blinked when one of Sarawat’s arms disappeared from around his neck and not long after, a pair of keys were getting dangled in front of his face. Making sure Sarawat was still good on his back, Tine let go of one of his legs and took the keys, unlocking the door and slipping inside, placing the keys on the small table Sarawat kept near the door.
“Saraleo? We’re at your condo, you can get off my back now,” Tine grunted, shifting Sarawat around on his back as he softly lowered them, setting Sarawat on his mattress. Holding him up quickly when he noticed Sarawat almost falling on his hurt side, Tine kept his hand on his shoulder as he gazed around. Where did Sarawat keep his medkit? Maybe in the bathroom. Patting Sarawat’s face to wake him up a little, Tine made sure that Sarawat could hold himself up before he stood up and moved towards the bathroom, silently praising himself when he found it as soon as he stepped in the room. Making his way towards Sarawat again, Tine took in the way he was holding his side and frowned, sitting on the bed beside him as Sarawat regarded him with sleepy eyes, a yawn slipping out that made Tine chuckle slightly. “I’m going to put some ointment on your side, can you lift your shirt a bit?”
“Mmmfff…” Rolling his eyes at the sound Sarawat made, Tine waited with a look that said Sarawat wasn’t going to get out of it so with a grunt, Sarawat slowly lifted his shirt and let Tine take a look at the ugly bruise that was starting to develop on his skin. Wincing as he noticed this, Tine stared up at Sarawat sadly before he squeezed some of the ointment out, warning him that it may hurt as he carefully pressed his fingers into his side. Tensing up as a brief spark of white hot pain spread through his body, Sarawat hissed as Tine quietly apologized and quickly finished up, not wanting to poke it anymore than he had to. The last thing Tine wants to do is hurt Sarawat even more than he already is. Satisfied with how much ointment he put on it, Tine capped the lid and pulled Sarawat’s shirt back down, cleaning up the medkit and standing up, going to place the kit back where he found it. Waiting for Tine to come back, Sarawat yawned again and slowly maneuvered himself around on his bed, throwing the blanket away as he finally settled. “Can you stay for a little while?”
Letting out a small hum, Tine checked the time on his phone and noticed that it wasn’t too late, so with a nod, Tine moved to sit on the free side of Sarawat’s bed. Smiling slightly up at him, Sarawat buried his face back in the pillow and let his eyes flutter shut. Watching him for a moment, Tine pulled the blanket up and tucked Sarawat in, making sure it covered all of him before he settled again, letting his eyes rake over Sarawat again. Taking in the way the boy’s usually neat bangs were plastered all over his face and covering his eyes, Tine snorted and slowly reached out, brushing them away from his face as he carefully brushed them behind Sarawat’s ear, not wanting to wake him up. Shifting slightly, Sarawat sighed softly and moved closer to Tine’s thigh, his hand gripping the cloth of Tine’s shorts and he buried his face in the boy’s leg. Staying still, Tine watched as Sarawat’s breathing evened out as he fell asleep, his face relaxed and not carrying any of the weight Sarawat seemed to carry when he was awake.
“Would he mind if I stayed…? Probably not,” Tine mumbled to himself as he carefully took Sarawat’s hand off his clothing, sliding down until he too was buried under the blanket. Letting out an illegible whisper, Sarawat threw his arm over Tine’s waist and snuggled closer, snuggling his face into the boy’s chest, a small smile appearing on his face as he did so. Staying still for a moment, Tine released a small breath and looped his arm around Sarawat, pulling him closer as he buried his face in his hair. Closing his eyes, Tine felt the warmth of Sarawat’s body draping over him as he let out a yawn, gently tangling their legs together under the blanket. “I’m going to hear it for this in the morning…”

looking back the past week, and after that heavy EP12, i think i may be becoming disillusioned on 2gether as a series.
i still like it very much. sarawat playing 'Close' for tine in EP3 and them sharing headphones listening to 'Everything' in EP4? perfection, in my opinion.
but that's just it. after the domestic montage in EP10, sarawat and tine have become glorified roommates i guess? at the very least sarawat holding tine's hand while teaching him how to hold a pick have far greater sparks than anything they currently have while being in a relationship and i find it pretty sad.
the issue is not that they haven't kissed after becoming a couple, i get that they use the 'sarawat-patting-tine's-head' as substitute for kisses—since this is apparently a show aimed for early teens (but alcohol consumption and implied drugging is ok i guess, but thats another topic). more than that, sarawat secretly caressing tine's neck while putting on an earbud back in EP4 is far greater than anything he's done in the last two episodes. they just seem to be more and more like close friends rather than a couple, even in their own room (which they have ironically named as their 'love lair' lmao).
and with the drama thrown in for the finale, i just don't think that we'll get to see any of that before the series ends. they haven't even gone on a real date yet? i know in the novel tine got to meet sarawat's parents and even wat's father (a policeman!) even approves of them! instead we get scenes that aren't from the novel like that random girl from EP8 which everyone forgot right after and pam explaining that she dropped out of medicine school to pursue music when she can't even remember how to play guitar.
overall i just think they just wanted to go for the safest (and sanitized) portrayal of a couple they think they could get away with, or that the actors are comfortable to portray. and that's why the buildup to their relationship took 75% of the whole series where they can safely play up longing glances, secret smiles, etc. and after they become a couple, throw in the stumbling blocks of their relationship tackled in the novel to cover up the fact that we'll only probably get to see them kiss properly (as a couple) only once in this whole series.
