Wiat stop omggg i’ve been reading these posts about the anti-Hinata Hyuga stuff and how she is infact privileged and ngl it lowkey hurt but also omfg???? It's okay to like a problematic character and it's okay to like a ship, the problem starts when people justify such problematic characteristics to make them "acceptable", like justifying Neji's treatment at the hands of the Main Family because he was "mean" to Hinata, despite him warning her about fighting him and asking her to forfeit multiple times.

I'm sorry to be the one to tell you, but Hinata chose a side. Ignoring the matter or not giving it the relevance that it has even after her cousin's speech during their match or his match vs. Naruto, is to actively support the system in place; she might truly believe that is for the "greater good," as so his Konoha's mantra, but it doesn't change the fact that she agrees with the practice.

I don't see her as a good person for the reasons mentioned above, no good person sees her uncle being tortured and her cousin being enslaved and believes to be the bigger victim in their dynamic. Furthermore, she did pretty much nothing for anyone who wasn't Naruto; being shy and quiet is not the same as being a good person; she never mentioned being kind-spirited and thus, unable to be a shinobi (like Chöji, which was a full small arc of his character when fighting the Sound Four), but rather, weak.

I understand your wish for Hiashi to die, but Neji succumbing to his fate put an end to the "Hyuga's conundrum" as that's an issue that involves Konoha in itself and not addressing it in Boruto would've been a major problem; furthermore, the problem wasn't just about stopping the Main Family from creating slaves but also them giving reparations to those they enslaved, like Neji. His death was also used to give Hinata a "moment" with Naruto.

She can't, not just because she's weak (Shikamaru doesn't shine because he's particularly strong, he isn't), but also because she often puts her wishes above the safety of those under her command (Koü Hyüga) and can't come up with a basic strategy to fight her opponents. She perhaps modeled her attack pattern following Naruto's (who mostly attacks before coming up with a strategy, as he often relies on overwhelming his enemies), as she often states to look up to him and has spied on him multiple times, but he's far more strong and has much more chakra (plus healing chakra) than her.

Also the Naruhina fan in me kinda wishes that Naruto learned sealing from Pervy sage

I'm not sure Jiraiya knew much about sealing techniques (we only see him erasing Orochimaru's seal), Minato learned from Kushina and not him. Tsunade is likely far more versed on the matter and she never even attempted to take Neji's seal off, so that's where the village stands on the matter.

I am entirely baffled by the idea that we have to "rescue" our CCs from everything.

Like if Bad doesn't want to be on the QSMP he'll leave the QSMP - if George and Sapnap don't want to be on Banter then they'll leave Banter - if Karl doesn't like MrBeast he'll leave MrBeast - if Foolish hates NC then he'll move.

When people act like that it kind of feels like they're trying to remove any agency from their ccs - which is interesting in a way, because if their ccs don't have agency, then obviously "undesirable" behavior isn't their fault, and it makes liking favorites easier when said favorites are "unproblematic".

(This doesn't apply to controlling situations, obviously, if it were to be revealed that one of our faves was being pressured/forced to do something they didn't want to that'd be horrible. But even then I don't think it's our place to try and rescue them from that, since we don't know them.)

the thing that gets me about all those Swifties hating on Matty for being a jackass or not being good enough for Taylor is that Taylor isn’t perfect either! (And I also really like Taylor Swift)! If you purposefully go looking for bad stuff about a celebrity, you’ll find a reason to hate them. This goes for both Matty and Taylor, and honestly just about every celebrity out there. It just seems to me like all of the swifties who are hating were determined to hate Matty from the get-go, before they even learned anything about him. No, you're absolutely correct! Nobody's perfect, especially not white, straight, rich celebrities (BOTH MATTY AND TAYLOR) and we shouldn't expect them to be. honestly demanding perfection of ANYONE, celeb or not, is harmful and I hope we as culture can move past that at some point, lol. But yeah I totalllyyyy think that if it weren't Matty, they'd 100% be doing this to someone else too. It's just that Matty's messiness makes me an easy target. SO MUCH STUFF you can take out of context/ misconstrue to say horrible things about him. which breaks my heart because, though he may sometimes behave like an idiot, it's always with pure intentions and he doesn't deserve to be treated this way. but oh well.

SHUNAZU I saw that and i was like woaahh bc there’s so many ways that it can go and I don’t think it’s particularly popular (or maybe I’m wrong and I just haven’t rlly looked around). I have a lot of thoughts about Shu but none of them are normal. My friend rlly likes nazuna so I enjoy him vicariously through her. Shu and nazuna together in the same room tho hrmmm I like the thought of them meeting me in like a grocery store and Shu wants to hide in the bathroom. I think what happened between them is tragic and one time my friend said exvalk was their height and now their music is missing that vital piece that they once had which is an interesting take but I see it more like what happened was necessary for the both of them. They wouldn’t have grown either musically or as people if they stayed together in their unit. I think exvalk was the peak of their lowest moment but i might be wrong, i just like Saying whatever.
