NO I THINK IT’S BECAUSE ALSB IS LITERALLY A LIVE ACTION REINCARNATE OF CIRCA 2014 ANIME AND MANGA
#THAT ACTUALLY MAKES A LOT OF SENSE#LIKE A LIVE ACTION KIMI NI TODOKE OR SOMETHING#even if knt does have a movie that i ADORE#jpn film isn't quite my favorite because they do tend to cast older actors so it kinda takes me out#and umm they still have like??? lq low budget looks to their films? or at least the anime ones i find lol#BUT BACK TO THE TOPIC: it's the recurring school ; uniforms ; and random shenanigans the kids go through without really having a plot#and the timing of the jokes in the show is really funny??? it's like subtle but the actors embody teenagers pretty well that it works#and the music is whimsical!! so it ties it togethr#the set and costume design are vvv basic which i think is why it works!
