Goshhhhhh~ the fucking VALIDATION I GET from everyone telling me I’m a good chair 😘💖
#it’s only bc I’m way better than the alternatives but honestly I could be way better#I’m fairly patient though.#I’ve been told both at work and at the chairing I have the patience of a saint#and I do my best to explain things#the thing is that I tend to hop around and explain things as I remember them#but having a set agenda helps a LOT with the brain bunnies#shatters’ fragments#when I say I’m part of the board mostly as a service that I can perform as a chair for them I’m not even joking all that much#literally when my term was up they called me and told me to seek appointment for a term ahaha#it was. pretty iconic TBH#I am WANTED#I am VALUED#and I am DAMN GOOD AT WHAT I DO SOMETIMES#even though I usually do it while fucking exhausted#would’ve preferred a nap tbh but you know. do my duties and all haha#I have Never read Robert’s Rules of Order and I never will (unless I end up getting paid to do so)#and uh. tbh. barely know the quick guide to it either I’ve just been semi immersed for like. six years ish now that I’ve been on the board#so it’s just. vibes and nature and not being so afraid to ask for help from those who know it better than me bc I FORGET THINGS#but yeah#I’m a good chair for them 😌💖
