The tension between you and Max had always been palpable, but it wasn’t just because you were two of the best racing drivers on the grid. It was the rivalry that simmered beneath the surface, the unspoken competition that pushed both of you to your limits every time you got behind the wheel. You weren’t just friends—you were rivals, constantly trying to outdo each other on the track, and the fire that rivalry stoked didn’t stop when the race was over.
You had known Max for years, your careers growing alongside each other, and though there was a mutual respect, there was also a constant challenge, a need to prove who was better. It led to banter, to teasing comments, and sometimes, to something darker, more intense—like tonight.
The race had been brutal, both of you fighting tooth and nail for the podium. Max had edged you out in the final laps, taking the victory by a hair, and though you congratulated him afterward, there was a spark in your eyes that told him the rivalry was far from over.
But now, as you stood in Max’s driver’s room after the race, that competitive fire had taken on a new form. The air was thick with unspoken tension, the kind that made your skin tingle and your pulse race. Max was leaning against the couch, his racing suit half unzipped, revealing the sweat-slicked skin underneath. His eyes were dark, filled with something that made your breath catch in your throat.
“You drove like shit today,” you teased, a smirk tugging at your lips as you met his gaze, challenging him.
Max raised an eyebrow, his lips curling into a smirk of his own. “Is that why I’m the one holding the trophy?” he shot back, his tone dripping with smug satisfaction.
You rolled your eyes, stepping closer, your heart pounding in your chest. “Just barely. You know I’ll get you next time.”
“Is that a promise?” Max asked, his voice low and filled with a teasing edge that sent a shiver down your spine.
“Maybe,” you replied, your voice laced with challenge. The banter, the back-and-forth, was like foreplay, each word stoking the fire that burned between you.
Max’s smirk widened, his eyes darkening with intent as he pushed off the couch and closed the distance between you in a few quick strides. He was in your space now, his body so close you could feel the heat radiating off him, his scent—a mixture of sweat and something uniquely him—invading your senses.
“I think you like losing to me,” Max murmured, his hand reaching out to brush a strand of hair away from your face. The touch was gentle, but there was an undercurrent of something more, something that made your breath hitch.
“In your dreams,” you shot back, but the words were softer now, your bravado faltering under the intensity of his gaze.
Max’s hand slipped to the back of your neck, his grip firm as he pulled you closer, his lips brushing against your ear as he spoke. “How about I make you a deal?” he whispered, his voice rough and commanding. “You get on your knees for me, and maybe I’ll let you win next time.”
The words sent a jolt of arousal through you, your heart skipping a beat at the sheer audacity of his proposition. But you weren’t about to let him have the upper hand so easily. “Make me,” you challenged, your voice steady despite the racing of your pulse.
Max’s eyes flashed with something dangerous, something that made your knees weak. His grip tightened on your neck, his other hand coming up to cup your jaw, tilting your head back so you were forced to look up at him.
“Oh, I will,” Max promised, his voice low and filled with dark intent.
Before you could respond, Max’s lips crashed against yours in a kiss that was hard, demanding, and full of the fiery passion that always seemed to ignite between the two of you. His hands were on you, pulling you closer, holding you tight as his mouth claimed yours with a dominance that made your heart race.
You kissed him back just as fiercely, your hands tangling in his hair as you pressed your body against his, needing more, needing everything he was offering. The rivalry, the tension, the years of unspoken desire—it all culminated in this moment, in the heat of his body against yours, in the way his lips moved over yours with a hunger that matched your own.
Max’s hands moved to your hips, gripping you firmly as he guided you backward, pressing you against the wall. His lips trailed down your neck, sucking and nipping at the sensitive skin there, leaving marks that you knew would linger long after tonight.
“You drive me fucking insane,” Max muttered against your skin, his voice rough with need as his hands slipped under your shirt, pushing it up and over your head.
“Good,” you shot back, your voice breathless as you helped him strip you of your clothing, leaving you exposed to his hungry gaze. “Maybe now you know how I feel.”
Max’s eyes darkened with desire as he looked at you, his hands tracing the curves of your body, making you shiver under his touch. “On your knees,” he commanded, his voice rough and filled with authority.
But you weren’t about to give in that easily. “Make me,” you repeated, your eyes locking with his, challenging him to take what he wanted.
Max’s lips curled into a smirk, his eyes flashing with a mixture of amusement and arousal. “You’re going to regret that,” he warned, his hands tightening on your hips as he pulled you closer.
“Try me,” you shot back, your voice steady despite the rapid beating of your heart.
Max didn’t need any more encouragement. He pushed you down onto the couch, his body pressing against yours as he kissed you again, his hands sliding down your body, touching, caressing, teasing. You could feel the heat of his arousal against your thigh, the hardness of him making your own desire flare even hotter.
His hands found your thighs, spreading them apart as he knelt between them, his eyes locked on yours as he leaned in, his lips brushing against the sensitive skin of your inner thigh. “You’re going to beg for me,” Max promised, his voice low and filled with dark intent.
You shivered at his words, your breath hitching as his mouth moved higher, teasing you with soft, feather-light kisses that made your body tremble with anticipation. You tried to hold on to your bravado, but the way he was touching you, the way his tongue flicked against your skin, was making it impossible to think, let alone resist.
Max’s hand slipped between your legs, his fingers brushing against your wetness, making you gasp. He smirked at your reaction, his eyes darkening with satisfaction as he continued to tease you, his touch light, almost maddeningly so.
“Fuck, you’re already so wet for me,” Max murmured, his voice rough with desire as he pressed a finger inside you, making you moan at the sensation.
You bit your lip, trying to hold back the sounds that threatened to escape, but Max wasn’t having it. He added another finger, curling them inside you, his thumb brushing against your clit in a way that made you see stars.
“Let me hear you,” Max demanded, his voice a low growl as he worked you with expert precision, pushing you closer and closer to the edge.
You couldn’t hold back the moan that escaped your lips, your body arching into his touch as the pleasure built inside you, coiling tighter and tighter until you were trembling with need.
“Max, please,” you gasped, the words slipping out before you could stop them.
Max’s eyes gleamed with triumph, his fingers moving faster, his thumb pressing harder against your clit as he pushed you to the brink. “That’s it,” Max encouraged, his voice rough with satisfaction. “Let go for me.”
And you did, your body convulsing with pleasure as you came apart in his hands, your moans filling the room as the orgasm crashed over you, wave after wave of intense sensation leaving you trembling and breathless.
When you finally came down from the high, Max was there, his lips on yours, kissing you deeply, passionately, as if he couldn’t get enough of you. He pulled back just enough to look into your eyes, his own dark with desire.
“Now, on your knees,” Max commanded, his voice leaving no room for argument.
This time, you didn’t hesitate. You slid off the couch, dropping to your knees in front of him, your hands reaching out to free him from the confines of his racing suit. Max’s breath hitched as you took him in your hands, your touch sending a shiver of pleasure through him.
You looked up at him, meeting his gaze as you leaned in, your lips brushing against the tip of his cock in a soft, teasing kiss that made him groan with need. “You’re going to love this,” you promised, your voice a low, sultry whisper.
Max’s hand tangled in your hair, his eyes dark with anticipation as he watched you. “Show me,” he growled, his voice rough with desire.
You didn’t need any more encouragement. You took him into your mouth, your lips closing around him as you began to suck, your tongue swirling around the head of his cock, teasing him, driving him insane with every flick, every stroke.
Max’s grip on your hair tightened, his hips thrusting forward as he fucked your mouth, the pleasure building inside him with every movement.
“Fucking hell,” Max groaned, his voice a low rumble that sent a thrill of satisfaction through you. “If I knew you were this good, I would have gotten you on your knees earlier.”
The words only spurred you on, fueling the fire of desire burning inside you. You took him deeper, hollowing your cheeks as you sucked harder, your tongue continuing its relentless assault on him. The sounds he made—those low, guttural moans—only made you want to give him more, to push him further toward the edge.
Max’s hips began to move more urgently, his hand guiding your head as he thrust into your mouth, the rhythm becoming more erratic as he lost himself in the pleasure you were giving him. You could feel him throbbing against your tongue, the tension coiling tighter and tighter in his body as he neared his climax.
You moaned around him, the vibrations making him shudder, his grip on your hair tightening as he fought to hold on. But you could tell he was close, his breaths coming in ragged gasps, his muscles tensing as he teetered on the brink.
“Fuck, I’m gonna—” Max’s words broke off in a strangled moan as his orgasm overtook him. His hips jerked forward, and you felt the first hot spurt hit the back of your throat. You didn’t slow down, working him through his release, swallowing every drop as he came, your tongue still swirling around him, milking every last bit of pleasure from his body.
Max’s grip on your hair loosened as the last waves of his climax washed over him, leaving him trembling and breathless. You pulled back slowly, your lips lingering on him for just a moment longer before releasing him, your eyes flicking up to meet his.
Max’s chest was heaving, his eyes dark and hooded as he looked down at you, his expression one of pure satisfaction mixed with something deeper, something almost primal. He reached down, his hand cupping your chin, lifting your face so that you were forced to look up at him.
“You’re incredible,” Max said, his voice rough and still thick with the aftereffects of his orgasm. There was a softness in his eyes now, a tenderness that made your heart skip a beat.
You smiled up at him, feeling a rush of pride at his words, your body still buzzing with the aftermath of what had just happened. “Glad you think so,” you replied, your voice laced with satisfaction and a hint of teasing.
Max chuckled, the sound low and warm as he pulled you up to your feet. His hands settled on your hips, pulling you close until your bodies were pressed together again. He leaned in, capturing your lips in a slow, deliberate kiss that was all about savoring the moment, the heat of the earlier intensity giving way to something more intimate.
When he pulled back, he rested his forehead against yours, his breath mingling with yours in the quiet of the room. “We should do this again,” Max murmured, his voice soft but full of promise.
“Only if you let me win next time,” you teased, your lips curving into a playful smile as you looked up at him.
Max’s eyes sparkled with amusement, a smirk tugging at his lips. “We’ll see about that,” he said, his tone light but with an underlying seriousness that made your heart flutter.
As you both stood there, wrapped in each other’s arms, the rivalry between you didn’t seem to matter anymore. There was something more now, something that went beyond the track, beyond the competition. And as you leaned into his embrace, you couldn’t help but think that whatever happened next, it was only the beginning of something much bigger, something that neither of you could walk away from.

SINFUL SUNDAY MY HERO ACADEMIA & MY HERO ACADEMIA MASTERLIST - PART II
Tumblr media
"You're late," Bakugo growls, his voice edged with impatience as he glares at you from the doorway.
You smirk, brushing past him. "Didn't know the great Dynamight had a bedtime like a preschooler."
"Shut up," he snaps as he closes the door behind you. "You know I don't like waiting."
"And yet here we are," you retort, throwing your bag on his couch with a casual toss.
The apartment is spacious, minimalist in its decor, with a few hints of Bakugo's personality — trophies from his hero work, a stack of fitness magazines, and a well-worn punching bag in the corner.
"Still can't believe we're doing this," he mutters, following you into the living room.
"Which part?" you ask, raising an eyebrow. "The studying, or the fact that we're doing it together?"
Bakugo's scowl deepens. "Both."
You laugh, settling into the couch and pulling out your notes. "Just like old times, huh? Except now we're not stuck in that cramped library."
He huffs, flopping down beside you. "Yeah, but you still haven't gotten any less annoying."
"And you haven't gotten any less competitive," you shoot back, your eyes meeting his. There's a spark there, the same one that always flared when the two of you clashed in college.
You and Bakugo had been academic rivals since your first year at UA High School. Both fiercely competitive and driven, you clashed in every class, constantly trying to outdo each other in hero training exercises and exams. The rivalry continued into college, where you found yourselves in the same courses, your mutual determination pushing you to excel.
Despite the animosity, there was an undeniable chemistry between you, a spark that neither of you acknowledged but both felt deeply.
Now, years later, with Bakugo as a top Pro Hero and you excelling in your own career, the competitive fire still burns. Especially when the Great Explosion Murder God Dynamight fails yet another mandatory training session assigned to him by the Hero Commission.
Bakugo grabs a stack of papers, his fingers brushing against yours accidentally.
The contact sends a jolt through you, and you pull back, trying to focus on the task at hand.
"So, where were we?" he asks, his voice a little rougher.
"Here," you say, pointing to a highlighted section. "The analysis of hero efficiency metrics. You were going to show me how you applied it to your latest mission."
He nods, leaning closer. The heat from his body is distracting, and you find it hard to concentrate as he explains the data. His voice is low, the words rolling over you as you watch the way his lips move, the intensity in his eyes.
"...and that's how I optimized the response time," he finishes, looking up at you expectantly.
You blink, realizing you've barely absorbed a word. "Right. Makes sense."
He narrows his eyes. "You're not even listening, are ya, Y/N?"
"I am!" you protest, but he doesn't buy it.
"Prove it," he challenges, leaning even closer. "Explain it back to me."
Your mind races, trying to piece together what he said, but all you can think about is how close he is, the smell of his cologne, the way his breath brushes against your skin. "I, um..."
His smirk is infuriating. "Thought so, smartass."
"You're impossible," you mutter, but there's no heat in your words.
"And you're distracted," he counters. "Wonder why that is."
You glare at him, but he's right. "Maybe it's because you're in my personal space," you say, but even as you say it, you don't move away.
"Maybe you like it," he shoots back, his voice dropping to a dangerous whisper.
Your breath catches, and for a moment, neither of you moves. Then, before you can second-guess yourself, you close the gap, your lips crashing against his in a kiss that's more a battle than a caress. It's messy, desperate, and full of the same fire that always ignited when you were around each other.
Bakugo responds instantly, his hands tangling in your hair as he deepens the kiss. The taste of him, the feel of his body pressed against yours, it's everything you've been denying yourself for years.
You break apart, both of you breathing hard. "This doesn't change anything," you whisper, more to yourself than to him. “I’m so sorry… I shouldn’t have…”
He smirks, brushing his thumb over your swollen lips. "No, it doesn't. But it sure as hell makes things more interesting."
You laugh, a breathless sound that turns into a moan as he captures your mouth again.
This time, there's no hesitation, no holding back. The kiss is fierce, and you can feel the same hunger in him that burns in you.
Bakugo pulls you onto his lap, his hands roaming your back as he presses you closer. The feel of his hard muscles against you, the heat of his skin, it's all intoxicating.
You grind against him, eliciting a low growl from his throat.
"God, you're so fucking impatient," he mutters against your lips, but his hands are gentle as they slip under your shirt, exploring the skin beneath.
"You love it," you tease, arching into his touch.
"Maybe I do," he admits, his voice rough with desire. "But don't think this means you've won."
"Wouldn't dream of it," you reply, your hands busy unbuttoning his shirt.
His shirt comes off in a tangle of limbs and fabric, neither of you willing to break the kiss for more than a few seconds.
You trail kisses down his neck, savoring the way he shudders beneath you.
Bakugo flips you onto your back, his eyes dark and hungry as he looks down at you. "You're still a pain in my ass," he growls. His body presses you into the mattress, the weight of him a delicious reminder of his strength and power.
You feel his hands slide up your sides, pushing your shirt higher until he pulls it over your head and tosses it aside. His mouth is on you instantly, trailing hot, open-mouthed kisses down your neck, across your collarbone, and to the swell of your breasts.
"Fuck, you're gorgeous," he murmurs against your skin, his voice thick with desire.
You arch into his touch, your fingers threading through his hair as you hold him close.
He groans in response, the sound vibrating against your skin as he takes one of your nipples into his mouth, sucking and biting gently.
You can feel yourself growing wetter.
"Fuck," he mutters, releasing your nipple with a wet pop and moving to the other one. His free hand roams lower, tracing the curve of your waist, the dip of your hip, until he reaches the waistband of your pants. With a rough tug, he pulls them down.
“Bakugo,” you basically growl at him, demanding his attention.
"Patience," he murmurs, his breath hot against your ear. "Good things come to those who wait."
But you're beyond waiting. You need him now. You reach down and grab his hand, guiding it to where you're aching for him - right between the thighs you willingly part just for him.
Bakugo's fingers trace the outline of your pussy through your panties, watching as your eyes flutter closed in pleasure. He can feel the heat radiating off of you, and he knows you want him just as badly as he wants you.
"Do you like that, baby?" he growls in your ear, his voice low and husky.
You nod, biting your lip as he continues to rub you through the thin fabric. You’re so wet already, he can feel it seeping through your panties and onto his fingers.
Bakugo grins, his fingers hooking into the waistband of your underwear and pulling them down your parted legs.
You lift your hips to help him, and soon you’re lying naked before him.
He takes a moment to admire the sight of you, spread out on the couch like a feast. Your skin is soft and smooth, your breasts are full and round, and your pussy is glistening with wetness, just for him.
His fingers slip inside you easily. You’re oh so tight, he can feel your muscles clenching around his digits as he moves them in and out. "Fuck, you feel so good," he praises, his thumb finding your clit and rubbing it in tight circles.
"Fuck," you breathe, your hips bucking involuntarily. "Yes, just like that."
Bakugo's fingers curl inside you, hitting all the right spots.
You can feel yourself already getting closer, your body tensing with each stroke. And then, just as you think you can't take it any longer, he stops.
You whimper in protest, but he just smirks.
"Not yet," he says. "I want to taste you first."
Before you can react, he's sliding down your body, his mouth hot and wet on your inner thigh.
You moan as he kisses and licks his way closer to your mound, your whole body trembling with anticipation.
And then, finally, his tongue is on your clit, teasing and flicking in a way that makes your whole body shudder. You can hear the wet sounds of his mouth on you, the slick slide of his tongue. It's obscene and you can't get enough of it. You buck your hips, grinding against his face as he devours you.
"Oh god, Bakugo," you moan, your voice hoarse. "I'm going to come."
He just hums in response, his tongue working harder, faster. He uses his thumb to roll your clitty in a circle, pushing the upper portion of your outer lips aside. As Bakugo plays with your little, swollen pearl, your lower lips begin to glisten, then open, and after a longer moment of playing while your breathing quickens, a thin string of crystalized dew falls from your juicy pink slit.
“Just like that, just like that!” you are a moaning mess beneath him.
“Holy fucking shit,” he growls lowly, watching your body writhe, feeling the intense strain as his sweatpants become painfully tight. Bakugo doesn't stop, though. He keeps licking and sucking. He licks up through your soft folds like a dog, lapping at your cunny juices as if his life depends on it. He then curls and straightens his calloused fingers several times, petting the underside of your mound from within. “Cum for me, I wanna see you cumming hard for me,” Bakugo commands.
Your clit throbs in his mouth as he sucks the little pearl in, finger-fucking your slick, drenched pussy.
A high pitched whimper cuts off your words. Your stomach heaves, your ass shakes, and you feed Bakugo your muff with a sexy, up and down grinding motion that runs your pussy all over his slightly unshaven face. You tighten your grip on his ash-blonde hair and pull him against your pussy, mashing your clit between his tongue and your own pubic bone.
Finally, Katsuki pulls away, his face glistening with your juices.
"Fuck," you breathe, still reeling from the intensity of your orgasm. "That was incredible."
Bakugo just grins, clearly pleased with himself. "You're welcome," he says. Bakugo licks and kisses his way up your body, his touch sending shivers down your spine. When he reaches your lips, he kisses you deeply before pulling back. "You know this doesn't mean I'm ever going to go easy on you," he says, grinding his crotch against your slick folds.
The unmistakable hardness pressing against you is making you acutely aware of how hard he is — how hard you've made him just with your moans and pussy.
You wrap your arms around his neck. "Yeah, I know. But quit this shit now and fuck me like I know you've always wanted to."

love potion / lee heeseung - requested
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, Lee Heeseung and you have always been rivals, each determined to outshine the other in every class, duel, and academic challenge. their heated competition has been the talk of the school since their first year, with neither willing to back down or admit any weakness. but when a special project forces them to work together, they begin to see each other in a new light. wc 14k genre hogwarts au, academic rivals au, enemies to lovers warnings im not a potterhead, so if my references or knowledge is off, i apologize thank you anon for the request
Tumblr media
you were calmly making your way through the crowd toward the bulletin board, where the top students in astronomy would soon be announced. head held high with the confidence that your name would remain at the top, you moved forward as the other students stepped aside. you nodded in silent thanks, then waited for the results.
"well, isn't it my best friend, yn." of course, it was him. you looked to your left, offering the tall male a fake smile.
"heeseung."
"yn."
your enemy, your arch-nemesis, your rival—lee heeseung. a gryffindor with a knack for pushing your buttons and getting under your skin. he never missed a chance to challenge you, always eager to knock you off your pedestal.
"my favorite ravenclaw, ready to step down a rank?" he teased, his chuckle following as you rolled your eyes.
"still dreaming?" you nudged him, turning your attention back to the board.
you and heeseung had been the top students in your year since your very first day at hogwarts. your rivalry was as old as your time at the school, with each of you trying to outdo the other in every subject, every exam, and every challenge that came your way. both of you were fiercely competitive, and your battle for the number one spot was legendary among your peers.
yet, despite the constant competition, there was a mutual respect between you—an unspoken acknowledgment of each other's talent and determination. but that didn’t stop either of you from doing whatever it took to come out on top. today was no different, and as the results were about to be revealed, the tension between you was palpable.
"let's see if the results speak for themselves," you muttered, eyes locked on the board as the names started to appear.
"i guess we'll find out," heeseung replied, his tone teasing but with an edge of anticipation.
as you stood there, waiting for the results, your mind drifted back to your first year at hogwarts—back to when this rivalry with heeseung began.
it had all started in your first potions class. you were both twelve, eager to prove yourselves, and it didn’t take long for sparks to fly. professor snape had just finished explaining the day’s assignment, a simple potion to test your skills. you were confident, already preparing your ingredients with precision, when you noticed him glancing your way.
“think you can manage this without blowing up your cauldron?” heeseung had whispered, his voice dripping with sarcasm.
“worry about your own potion, heeseung,” you shot back, not even bothering to look up. but the challenge in his tone was unmistakable, and you felt a surge of determination to outdo him.
the class had been tense, the air thick with unspoken competition. every movement he made, every precise cut of his ingredients, only fueled your resolve. you’d both finished your potions at nearly the same time, and when professor snape evaluated them, he had given you both identical marks—top scores, of course. neither of you had been satisfied with the tie.
from that day on, it was a constant game of one-upmanship. every assignment, every test, every chance to prove who was the better student was met with the same intensity. your interactions were always tense, filled with sarcastic remarks and thinly veiled insults, but there was something else there too—an undeniable spark that kept you both on your toes.
as the memory faded, you found yourself back in the present, standing next to heeseung once again. the tension between you was still there, just as it had been from the start.
the results began to appear on the board, each name materializing in glowing script. your eyes scanned the list, heart pounding in anticipation. then, you saw it—your name, right at the top where it belonged.
a breath of relief escaped your lips, quickly followed by a triumphant smile. you had done it. again.
right beneath your name, heeseung’s appeared, just a point behind you. so close, yet not close enough.
heeseung’s eyes narrowed as he took in the results, his usual smirk faltering for just a moment. “looks like you’re still holding on,” he said, the edge in his voice impossible to miss.
“just barely,” you replied, unable to resist the dig. “maybe next time, heeseung.”
he let out a short laugh, shaking his head. “we’ll see about that. enjoy it while it lasts.”
you met his gaze, the familiar mix of rivalry and respect sparking between you. there was no need for more words; the scoreboard had spoken. but as you turned to leave, you couldn’t shake the feeling that this battle was far from over. heeseung was nothing if not persistent, and you knew he’d be back, ready to challenge you again.
Tumblr media
the following week, the rivalry between you and heeseung only intensified. it was an unspoken rule now—every class, every moment, was a new battleground.
in defense against the dark arts, professor lupin had just paired you with heeseung for a dueling exercise. as you stood across from each other, wands at the ready, the air was thick with tension. the rest of the class watched in anticipation, fully aware of the competitive history between the two of you.
“expelliarmus!” heeseung was quick, but you were quicker, deflecting his spell with ease before countering with a well-aimed “protego!” the duel was fast-paced, each of you pushing the other to the limit, neither willing to back down. the room buzzed with energy as your classmates murmured, eyes glued to the battle unfolding before them.
it wasn’t just in defense against the dark arts where the competition was fierce. in every class, you and heeseung were neck and neck, always vying for the top spot. whether it was transfiguration, potions, or charms, the two of you were constantly being compared—by your peers, by the professors, and even by yourselves.
“excellent work, miss yn,” professor mcgonagall would say, only to follow it with, “and you too, mr. heeseung, as always.” there was no escaping the constant comparisons, the subtle remarks from professors who couldn’t help but pit you against each other.
your classmates had started to place bets on who would come out on top in the next exam or who would win the next duel. it was as if your rivalry had become a sport, a source of entertainment for the entire school.
Tumblr media
as the duel between you and heeseung reached its peak, a burst of laughter erupted from the back of the room. jay, jake, and ni-ki, heeseung’s closest friends, had been watching the entire time, their eyes glinting with amusement.
“you two are at it again,” jay called out, his tone teasing. “honestly, yn, you’re going to give heeseung a complex if you keep this up.”
jake smirked, leaning against the wall with a casual air. “or maybe it’s the other way around? heeseung, don’t tell me you’re going easy on her.”
heeseung shot them a look, a mix of irritation and amusement flashing in his eyes. “as if. you know i never back down from a challenge.”
ni-ki, the youngest of the group, couldn’t help but add, “this is getting good. professor lupin should just let you two go at it every class. way more interesting than the usual lessons.”
you rolled your eyes at their comments, but couldn’t help the slight grin that tugged at your lips. their banter was all part of the routine now, just like your rivalry with heeseung. still, you weren’t about to let their remarks distract you.
“you might want to focus, heeseung,” you said, your voice dripping with mock sweetness. “i’d hate for your friends to see you lose.”
heeseung’s gaze snapped back to you, the competitive fire in his eyes reigniting. “oh, i’m focused,” he replied, his tone low and determined. “let’s see if you can keep up.”
with that, the duel resumed, your wands clashing with renewed intensity. jay, jake, and ni-ki continued to make their remarks, laughing and egging heeseung on, but you tuned them out. all that mattered was winning—proving that you were still the best, even with the added pressure of an audience.
the room seemed to hold its breath as you and heeseung traded spells, each trying to outmaneuver the other. you could feel the eyes of your classmates on you, the whispers and murmurs growing louder with each passing second.
finally, professor lupin stepped in, raising his wand to separate the two of you. “enough, that’s enough,” he said, though there was a hint of a smile on his face. “excellent dueling, both of you. i think that’s enough excitement for one class.”
you and heeseung lowered your wands, breathing heavily but refusing to break eye contact. jay, jake, and ni-ki applauded, their laughter filling the room as they moved to join heeseung, slapping him on the back and throwing more teasing comments his way.
“nice try, yn,” jay said with a grin. “but you know heeseung’s just getting warmed up.”
“we’ll see about that,” you replied, your competitive spirit as strong as ever. you knew this wasn’t the end—far from it.
class ended, but the tension between you and heeseung lingered like a storm cloud. as the students filed out of the classroom, you gathered your things, feeling a simmering frustration that you couldn't quite shake. heeseung, flanked by jay, jake, and ni-ki, was the last to leave, and you could feel his gaze on you as you shoved your books into your bag.
"you really think you can keep this up forever?" heeseung's voice cut through the air, stopping you in your tracks. you turned to face him, your eyes flashing with anger.
"what’s that supposed to mean?" you snapped, your patience wearing thin.
heeseung stepped closer, his expression hardening. "you act like you're invincible, yn. like no one can touch you. but newsflash: you’re not unbeatable."
you took a step forward, refusing to back down. "and you act like you're the only one who can challenge me. but you’re always just a step behind, aren’t you?"
jay, jake, and ni-ki exchanged glances, sensing the rising tension but staying silent, their eyes flicking between you and heeseung.
"maybe it’s time you realized that being at the top isn’t just about grades," heeseung shot back, his voice low and edged with frustration. "it’s about how you handle the pressure, how you treat the people around you. and from where I’m standing, you’ve got a lot to learn."
the words stung, and you felt your cheeks flush with anger. "and what about you, heeseung? always so smug, always so sure you’re going to knock me down. newsflash: you haven’t succeeded yet."
heeseung’s jaw tightened, and for a moment, you saw a flicker of something more—something almost vulnerable. but it was gone as quickly as it appeared, replaced by the familiar competitive fire.
"we’ll see about that," he said, his voice barely above a whisper. "this isn’t over, yn. not by a long shot."
you glared at him, your heart pounding in your chest. "bring it on, heeseung."
with that, you turned on your heel and stormed out of the classroom, leaving heeseung and his friends behind. the echoes of your argument lingered in the hallway, a testament to the fierce rivalry that defined your time at hogwarts.
as you stormed down the corridor, trying to push the argument with heeseung out of your mind, you heard hurried footsteps behind you. before you could turn, sunoo, jungwon, and sunghoon appeared at your side, concern written all over their faces.
“yn, wait up!” sunoo called out, his tone softer than usual. when he caught sight of your expression, his eyes widened. “what happened? you look like you’re about to hex someone.”
jungwon shot a worried glance at sunoo before focusing on you. “was it heeseung again? we saw him talking to you after class.”
you let out a frustrated sigh, running a hand through your hair as you tried to calm yourself down. “yeah, it was heeseung. who else would it be?”
sunghoon, always the calm and collected one, placed a reassuring hand on your shoulder. “you can’t let him get to you like this, yn. he’s just trying to mess with your head.”
“i know,” you muttered, but the anger still simmered beneath the surface. “it’s just—he gets under my skin so easily. he acts like he’s always just one step away from beating me, and it drives me crazy.”
sunoo, ever the empathetic one, frowned. “but you always come out on top, yn. you know that. heeseung’s just trying to throw you off your game.”
jungwon nodded in agreement. “and we’re here to make sure he doesn’t. you’re better than him, and you know it.”
you couldn’t help but feel a bit of the tension ease at their words. they always knew how to pull you back from the edge, reminding you of your strengths and why you were the top student.
“thanks, guys,” you said, managing a small smile. “i just… i don’t know why he gets to me like this.”
sunghoon gave your shoulder a gentle squeeze. “because he’s your rival. it’s natural. but remember, we’re all in this together. we’ve got your back, no matter what.”
sunoo grinned, his usual brightness returning. “and if heeseung gives you any more trouble, we’ll deal with him. right, guys?”
jungwon and sunghoon both nodded, their expressions determined. “absolutely,” jungwon added. “you’re not alone in this, yn.”
their support brought a wave of relief, and you felt the anger start to dissipate, replaced by a renewed sense of determination. with friends like these by your side, you knew you could handle whatever heeseung—and the rivalry—threw your way.
“thanks,” you said again, this time with more confidence. “i needed that.”
“anytime,” sunghoon replied with a smile. “now, how about we grab something from the kitchens? nothing like a good snack to take your mind off things.”
sunoo’s eyes lit up at the suggestion. “great idea! let’s go.”

the next morning, you sat in transfiguration, trying to focus as professor mcgonagall addressed the class. but your mind was still replaying the argument with heeseung from the day before, the tension between the two of you lingering like a dark cloud.
“today, we will begin a special project,” professor mcgonagall announced, her stern gaze sweeping across the room. “this project will require you to work in pairs, combining your knowledge and skills to complete a challenging task over the next few weeks.”
the class buzzed with excitement and nervous whispers as students exchanged glances, already wondering who they’d be paired with. you exchanged a quick look with sunoo, who was sitting beside you, silently hoping you’d get paired with one of your friends.
professor mcgonagall continued, her voice cutting through the chatter. “i’ve taken the liberty of assigning the pairs myself. the purpose of this project is not only to test your abilities but also to challenge you to work effectively with others.”
your heart sank at the mention of assigned pairs. you braced yourself, hoping for the best but expecting the worst.
“yn,” professor mcgonagall’s voice rang out, and your stomach tightened with anxiety. “you will be paired with… heeseung.”
a collective gasp and a few stifled giggles spread through the classroom as your worst fear was confirmed. your eyes darted to heeseung, who was sitting a few rows away. his expression mirrored your own—shock, followed by a flash of irritation.
sunoo, sitting next to you, shot you a sympathetic look. “i can’t believe this,” he whispered, his voice filled with disbelief.
“there must be some mistake,” you muttered under your breath, but you knew there wasn’t. professor mcgonagall’s decisions were final, and there was no way out of this.
heeseung’s friends, jay, jake, and ni-ki, exchanged amused glances, barely containing their laughter. ni-ki leaned over and whispered something to heeseung, who responded with a roll of his eyes and a barely concealed grimace.
“i expect both of you to put your differences aside and work together,” professor mcgonagall added, her tone leaving no room for argument. “this project is a significant part of your grade, and i trust you’ll take it seriously.”
you swallowed hard, trying to keep your composure as the rest of the pairs were announced. by the time professor mcgonagall finished, your mind was racing with a thousand thoughts, all centered around the fact that you were now stuck working with heeseung.
as class ended, you gathered your things slowly, dreading the inevitable conversation with him. you could already feel the tension building, the animosity between you growing thicker by the second.
heeseung approached you, his expression unreadable. for a moment, the two of you just stared at each other, the weight of the situation hanging heavy in the air.
“well,” he finally said, his tone clipped. “looks like we’re stuck together.”
“it’s not like i’m thrilled about this either,” you shot back, your frustration bubbling to the surface. “but i’m not about to let this project tank my grade, so let’s just get it over with.”
heeseung’s eyes narrowed slightly, but he nodded in agreement. “fine. but don’t think for a second that i’m going to go easy on you.”
“i wouldn’t expect you to,” you replied, your voice firm.
despite your protests and the obvious tension between you and heeseung, there was no escaping the inevitable. the project was set in stone, and you both knew there was no way out of it. after class, professor mcgonagall handed each pair a parchment detailing their assigned project. as you and heeseung opened yours, the complexity of the task became immediately clear.
“ancient magical artifacts?” you muttered, scanning the details. “we’re supposed to research, analyze, and present our findings on three different artifacts from the restricted section?”
heeseung frowned, clearly not thrilled either. “and we have to perform a demonstration of how they were used in their time? this is going to be a nightmare.”
“it’s not like we have a choice,” you replied, trying to keep the frustration out of your voice. “we’ll need to go to the restricted section as soon as possible to get started.”
heeseung glanced at you, a mixture of reluctance and resignation in his eyes. “yeah, I guess so. let’s just get this over with.”
the two of you made your way to the library, the tension between you palpable. as you walked in silence, you couldn’t help but reflect on how strange this situation was. after years of rivalry and animosity, you were now forced to work together on one of the most challenging projects either of you had ever faced.
in the library, you approached madam pince, the stern librarian who guarded the restricted section with an iron fist. after showing her your parchment and explaining the project, she reluctantly allowed you both access, though not without a sharp warning to handle the books with care.
once inside the restricted section, you and heeseung began the painstaking process of searching for information on the artifacts. the atmosphere was heavy, the air thick with the scent of old parchment and dust. as you leafed through ancient tomes and scrolls, the silence between you grew more uncomfortable by the minute.
finally, heeseung broke the silence. “look, we need to split this up if we’re going to get anywhere. how about we each take one artifact to research on our own, and then we’ll work on the third together?”
you looked up from the book you were skimming, considering his proposal. “fine,” you agreed, though you couldn’t help the edge in your voice. “but we need to make sure we’re thorough. this project is going to be tough, and i’m not about to let my grade suffer because of sloppy work.”
heeseung shot you a sharp look. “i’m not sloppy, yn. i know how to handle a project like this. just focus on your part, and i’ll focus on mine.”
you sighed, biting back a retort. the last thing you needed was another argument. “fine,” you repeated, turning back to the book in front of you. “let’s just get this done.”
as the hours passed, you and heeseung worked in near silence, occasionally exchanging a terse comment or asking a quick question, but mostly staying in your own worlds. the artifacts you were researching were fascinating—each one held powerful magic and a rich history—but the tension between you and heeseung made it hard to focus.
by the time you’d gathered enough information to start working on your individual parts, the sun had begun to set outside, casting long shadows across the library. you closed your book with a tired sigh, glancing at heeseung, who was still deep in his research.
“we should call it a day,” you said, breaking the silence. “we can start writing up our findings tomorrow.”
heeseung looked up, his expression unreadable. “yeah, we’ll need to if we want to stay on track.”
you both gathered your things, and as you left the library, the weight of the project—and your partnership—settled heavily on your shoulders. it was clear that this collaboration was going to be anything but easy. the animosity between you and heeseung was still there, simmering just beneath the surface, but now it was mixed with something else—an uneasy alliance, born out of necessity rather than choice.
as you walked back to your common room, you couldn’t help but wonder how you were going to survive the next few weeks. the project was complex, the stakes were high, and you were stuck working with the one person who always seemed to bring out the worst in you.
but despite the tension and the challenges ahead, one thing was certain: you weren’t going to let heeseung beat you. not now, not ever.

the next few days were a blur of bickering, frustration, and barely suppressed anger as you and heeseung tried to navigate the complexities of your project. from the moment you met up in the library each day, the tension between you was almost unbearable, and it didn’t take long for the disagreements to start.
“we need to focus more on the historical context,” you insisted one afternoon, your voice rising in frustration. “the way these artifacts were used is just as important as the magic they contain.”
heeseung rolled his eyes, clearly not in the mood to agree. “we can’t get bogged down in the history, yn. the practical applications of the magic are what really matter. if we don’t demonstrate that, our project is going to fall flat.”
you shot him a glare, feeling your temper flare. “and if we ignore the history, we’ll miss the whole point of why these artifacts are important in the first place. it’s not just about the magic—it’s about the people who used it and how it shaped their lives.”
heeseung crossed his arms, clearly not convinced. “fine, but we can’t spend all our time on that. we need to strike a balance, or we’re going to run out of time.”
“then maybe if you’d actually listen to my ideas instead of dismissing them, we wouldn’t be wasting so much time arguing,” you snapped back, your patience wearing thin.
heeseung’s eyes narrowed, and for a moment, you thought he might argue further. but instead, he took a deep breath and seemed to force himself to calm down. “fine,” he said through gritted teeth. “let’s focus on the history for now, but we’re going to need to move on to the practical demonstrations soon. agreed?”
you hesitated, still feeling the sting of his earlier dismissal, but you knew he was right about the time constraints. “agreed,” you muttered, though your frustration was still simmering just beneath the surface.
the rest of the afternoon continued in much the same way, with the two of you struggling to find common ground. every decision—whether it was about the structure of your presentation, the content of your research, or the approach to your demonstrations—seemed to turn into a battle of wills, with neither of you willing to back down easily.
“i think we should use the hand of glory for our demonstration,” heeseung said during one particularly heated discussion. “it’s one of the most powerful artifacts we’re studying, and it’ll make a big impact.”
you frowned, shaking your head. “it’s too dangerous. we don’t know enough about how it works, and if we make a mistake, we could end up causing real harm. the bezoar stone is a safer option, and it still has a lot of practical applications.”
“safe isn’t going to impress professor mcgonagall,” heeseung shot back, his tone sharp. “we need to take risks if we want to stand out.”
“and what if those risks backfire?” you countered, refusing to budge. “we’re not going to get any points if we end up in the hospital wing because of a careless mistake.”
the argument dragged on, neither of you willing to concede, until finally, heeseung threw up his hands in exasperation. “fine, we’ll go with the bezoar stone, but you’d better make sure it’s impressive.”
you bit back a retort, knowing that continuing to argue would only waste more time. “i will,” you said curtly, turning back to your notes.

something began to shift as you and heeseung spent more time together. the initial days of your partnership were filled with nothing but tension and stubbornness, but slowly, almost imperceptibly, you started to notice things about him that you hadn’t before.
one evening, while you were both deep in the restricted section of the library, you watched as heeseung meticulously transcribed information from a particularly ancient text. his brow was furrowed in concentration, and there was an intensity in his eyes that you hadn’t seen before. it was clear that he was deeply invested in the project, despite his earlier dismissive attitude.
“you’re really into this, aren’t you?” you found yourself saying, unable to keep the surprise out of your voice.
heeseung looked up, momentarily startled by the lack of sarcasm in your tone. “of course i am,” he replied, a bit defensively. “just because we don’t see eye to eye on everything doesn’t mean i don’t care about this project.”
you nodded slowly, feeling a small flicker of respect for his dedication. “i guess i just didn’t expect you to be so… thorough.”
heeseung shrugged, but there was a hint of pride in his expression. “i take my work seriously. especially when it’s something as challenging as this.”
you didn’t say anything more, but as you turned back to your own research, you couldn’t help but think about how different heeseung was when he wasn’t trying to one-up you. beneath the rivalry and the bravado, there was a serious, determined student who was just as passionate about his studies as you were.
over the next few days, you began to notice other things too—small details that hinted at a side of heeseung you hadn’t seen before. the way he’d quietly stay late in the library, long after you were ready to call it a night, making sure every detail of your project was perfect. the way he’d occasionally offer a rare word of praise when you made a breakthrough, even if it was grudgingly given. and the way his expression would soften, just for a moment, when he thought you weren’t looking, revealing a vulnerability that he usually kept hidden behind his confident exterior.
in turn, you sensed that heeseung was starting to see you in a different light as well. you caught him watching you sometimes, a thoughtful look in his eyes, as if he was reevaluating everything he’d thought about you. when you made a particularly strong argument or came up with a clever solution to a problem, there was a flicker of something like admiration in his gaze, though he was careful to hide it most of the time.
one afternoon, while you were both working in a quiet corner of the library, you noticed heeseung struggling with a particularly complicated spell that was central to your project. he was trying to recreate the effects of the spell using a detailed diagram, but no matter how many times he tried, the results weren’t quite right.
“here,” you said, surprising both of you as you reached out to help. “let me see.”
heeseung hesitated for a moment, clearly not used to accepting help from you, but eventually, he handed over the parchment. you studied the diagram for a moment, then adjusted a few key elements, altering the flow of the magical energy.
“try it now,” you suggested, handing the parchment back.
heeseung glanced at you, then at the parchment, before nodding. he carefully followed the adjustments you’d made, and this time, the spell came together perfectly, the magical energy aligning just as it should.
he looked at you, a mix of surprise and gratitude in his eyes. “how did you…?”
“you were overthinking it,” you explained with a small shrug. “sometimes the simplest solution is the best one.”
heeseung stared at you for a moment longer, and you could almost see the gears turning in his mind as he processed what had just happened. then, to your surprise, he offered a small, genuine smile—one that lacked the usual competitive edge.
“thanks,” he said quietly, and for the first time, it felt like he was speaking to you as a person, not just as his rival.
“don’t mention it,” you replied, feeling a strange warmth in your chest at the unexpected moment of connection.
from that point on, the dynamic between you and heeseung began to shift, bit by bit.
it was another late night in the library, the kind that had become all too familiar over the past few weeks. the moonlight filtered through the tall windows, casting long shadows across the room as you and heeseung worked in relative silence. the only sounds were the soft scratching of quills on parchment and the occasional rustle of pages being turned.
you had been at it for hours, piecing together the final sections of your project. exhaustion was beginning to take its toll, but neither of you was willing to call it quits just yet. there was too much at stake, and the deadline was looming ever closer.
“we’re almost there,” heeseung said, his voice low and slightly hoarse from lack of sleep. “just a few more details to iron out.”
you nodded, stifling a yawn as you scribbled down some final notes. “yeah, but we need to make sure everything’s perfect. professor mcgonagall isn’t going to go easy on us.”
heeseung snorted softly. “she never does.”
for a while, you both worked in comfortable silence, the earlier tension between you having dissipated over the course of your collaboration. it was strange how the rivalry that had once defined your interactions had gradually given way to a kind of mutual understanding. you still didn’t always agree, but there was a new level of respect that hadn’t been there before.
as the clock ticked closer to midnight, you leaned back in your chair, rubbing your tired eyes. “i can’t believe we’re actually going to pull this off.”
heeseung glanced up from his work, a faint smile tugging at the corners of his lips. “yeah, who would’ve thought?”
you chuckled softly, the sound a little weary but genuine. “certainly not me.”
for a moment, you both just sat there, the weight of the past few weeks settling over you. it had been an intense and challenging journey, one that had pushed both of you to your limits. and now, as the project neared completion, there was a strange sense of camaraderie between you—something that felt almost foreign after years of animosity.
“why do you push yourself so hard, yn?” heeseung’s voice broke the silence, catching you off guard. “i mean, we’ve been competing for so long, but i never really knew why you’re so driven. what’s your reason?”
you blinked, surprised by the question. it wasn’t something you’d ever expected him to ask, let alone something you’d planned to share. but there was something about the quiet intimacy of the moment, the exhaustion and the late hour, that made you feel like maybe—just maybe—you could let your guard down, if only a little.
“it’s… complicated,” you began, your voice hesitant as you searched for the right words. “i guess it all started with my family. they’ve always had high expectations, you know? being a ravenclaw, there’s this constant pressure to be the best, to excel in everything. my parents—they were both top of their class when they were here, and they expect the same from me. i’ve always felt like i had to prove myself, to show them that i’m just as good, if not better.”
heeseung listened quietly, his expression thoughtful as you spoke. you could see a flicker of understanding in his eyes, like he was beginning to piece together parts of you that he hadn’t seen before.
“it’s exhausting,” you admitted, feeling a little vulnerable. “sometimes it feels like no matter what i do, it’s never enough. so i keep pushing myself, hoping that maybe, one day, i’ll finally be able to meet their expectations.”
there was a long pause, the silence between you filled with unspoken emotions. then, to your surprise, heeseung spoke up, his voice unusually soft. “i get it. i mean, it’s different for me, but… i get it.”
you looked at him, curiosity piqued. “what do you mean?”
heeseung hesitated for a moment, as if debating whether or not to share. but then, he sighed, running a hand through his messy hair. “my family’s different. they’re not as focused on academics, but… they’ve always been there for me, supporting me in everything i do. i know how lucky i am to have that, but it also means i don’t want to disappoint them. they’ve sacrificed a lot for me to be here, and i feel like i owe it to them to succeed, to make the most of the opportunities they’ve given me.”
you listened, surprised by the honesty in his words. it was a side of heeseung you hadn’t seen before—one that was driven not just by ambition or competition, but by a deep sense of responsibility and gratitude.
“so that’s why you’re always so determined,” you said quietly, beginning to understand. “it’s not just about beating me or being the best—it’s about making sure your family’s sacrifices weren’t in vain.”
heeseung nodded, his expression serious. “yeah, something like that. and i guess… it’s also about proving to myself that i can do it. that i’m not just coasting on their support, but that i’m actually capable of achieving something on my own.”
you both fell silent again, the weight of your shared stories hanging in the air. it was strange, this newfound understanding between you—like a fragile bridge built over years of rivalry and competition. but as you sat there, side by side in the quiet library, you realized that maybe, just maybe, you weren’t so different after all.
“we’ve both been carrying a lot, haven’t we?” you finally said, your voice soft.
heeseung nodded, a faint smile touching his lips. “yeah, we have. but i guess that’s what makes us who we are.”
“rivals,” you said with a small, rueful laugh.
“and maybe something more,” heeseung added, his tone thoughtful.
you looked at him, a little startled by his words, but there was no teasing or challenge in his expression—just a quiet, genuine honesty that you hadn’t expected.
“maybe,” you agreed, feeling a strange warmth in your chest.
as the days passed, the dynamic between you and heeseung continued to evolve —a subtle undertone of respect that hadn’t been there before.
you found yourselves falling into a rhythm, one that surprised you both. there were moments when you’d catch heeseung watching you as you worked, his expression unreadable, as if he were seeing you in a new light. at times, you’d notice yourself doing the same, observing the way he methodically tackled challenges, his determination unyielding.
it was during one of these moments, late at night when the rest of the castle was asleep, that you first began to acknowledge the shift between you. you were both hunched over the same ancient tome, deciphering the intricate details of a particularly difficult spell. without thinking, you leaned closer to see better, your shoulders brushing against each other.
“here, try adjusting the incantation this way,” heeseung suggested, his voice low and steady as he pointed to a line of text. “it should help stabilize the magical flow.”
you followed his suggestion, altering the incantation slightly before attempting the spell again. to your surprise, it worked perfectly, the magical energy aligning just as it should.
“that actually worked,” you said, looking up at him with a mix of surprise and appreciation. “nice catch, heeseung.”
heeseung gave you a small, almost shy smile—one that lacked the usual competitive edge. “thanks. you know, you’re not half bad at this either, yn.”
the unexpected compliment caught you off guard, and for a moment, you weren’t sure how to respond. eventually, you settled for a simple, “you’re not so bad yourself.”
the exchange was brief, but it marked a turning point in your partnership. there were still disagreements and moments of tension, but they were now balanced by a growing sense of camaraderie. you found yourselves working more smoothly together, each of you beginning to trust the other’s judgment in ways you hadn’t before.
during one particularly challenging task, you even surprised yourself by seeking out heeseung’s advice willingly. you were struggling with a particularly tricky potion that was integral to your project, and after several failed attempts, you finally turned to him.
“i can’t seem to get the consistency right,” you admitted, frustration creeping into your voice. “the potion keeps separating, no matter how carefully i follow the instructions.”
heeseung leaned over to inspect your work, his brow furrowing in concentration. “let me see… i think you might be adding the crushed bezoar too early. try mixing it in after the potion reaches a simmer.”
you followed his suggestion, and sure enough, the potion began to come together perfectly, the ingredients blending smoothly.
“how do you do that?” you asked, a mix of admiration and curiosity in your voice. “you always seem to know exactly what’s going wrong.”
heeseung shrugged, but there was a hint of pride in his expression. “i’ve always been good with potions. i guess i just have a knack for it.”
“well, it’s impressive,” you admitted, feeling a twinge of respect for him. “thanks for the help.”
heeseung nodded, his expression softening slightly. “anytime.”
as the days continued to pass, these moments of mutual respect and understanding became more frequent. you found yourself looking forward to the time spent working together, even if you were still reluctant to fully acknowledge it. there was something comforting about the way you could challenge each other, push each other to be better, without the usual undercurrent of animosity.
but despite the growing bond between you, neither of you was quite ready to admit it out loud. the rivalry that had defined your relationship for so long was still there, lingering in the background, and old habits were hard to break. you were both too stubborn, too proud, to fully let go of the competitive edge that had always driven you.
yet, even as you continued to trade barbs and challenge each other, there was a new undercurrent of something else—something that felt almost like friendship, though neither of you would have dared to call it that. it was still too soon, too uncertain, to fully embrace the change. but the first signs were there, undeniable in the way you worked together, in the way you’d begun to see each other as more than just rivals.
one evening, as you were packing up your things after a long day of work, heeseung hesitated before speaking. “you know, yn… we make a pretty good team.”
you paused, surprised by his words. for a moment, you considered brushing it off with a sarcastic remark, but something in his tone stopped you. instead, you found yourself nodding, a small, reluctant smile tugging at your lips. “yeah, we do.”
heeseung smiled back, and for the first time, it felt like a genuine connection—one that went beyond the rivalry that had defined your relationship for so long.
as you both left the library that night, walking side by side through the quiet halls of hogwarts, you couldn’t help but wonder what the future held for you both. the rivalry was still there, but it was no longer the only thing that defined your relationship.

one evening, as you were both working late in the deserted classroom you’d claimed as your project base, the air was thick with tension. the amulet lay on the table between you, glowing faintly with an eerie, pulsating light. you had just finished deciphering a particularly complicated series of runes when heeseung spoke up.
“we need to be careful with this next part,” he said, his voice low and serious. “the spell to activate the amulet’s power is extremely sensitive. if we get it wrong, it could backfire.”
you nodded, feeling a knot of anxiety form in your stomach. “i know. but we’ve come this far—we can’t stop now.”
heeseung met your gaze, and for a moment, you saw the same determination mirrored in his eyes. “agreed. let’s do this.”
you both took a deep breath and began the incantation, your voices blending together as you carefully followed the instructions you’d painstakingly translated from the ancient text. the air around you seemed to hum with energy, the light from the amulet growing brighter with each word spoken.
but just as you reached the final phrase, something went wrong. the amulet’s glow intensified suddenly, flaring with a blinding brilliance that made you both flinch. a high-pitched whine filled the room, and before you could react, the amulet exploded with a burst of uncontrolled magic.
you were thrown back by the force of the blast, crashing into the wall behind you. the impact knocked the wind out of you, leaving you gasping for breath as the room spun around you. through the haze of pain and disorientation, you heard heeseung shout your name.
“yn! are you okay?”
you forced yourself to sit up, wincing at the sharp pain in your side. “i’m fine,” you managed to say, though your voice was shaky. “what about you?”
heeseung was already on his feet, his wand drawn as he surveyed the chaotic scene. “i’m okay, but the amulet—” he broke off, his expression darkening as he pointed to where the artifact had been moments before.
the amulet was now hovering in midair, surrounded by a crackling aura of unstable magic. the runes etched into its surface were glowing with a malevolent light, and the energy it was emitting was growing stronger by the second.
“we have to stop it,” heeseung said urgently, his voice tight with fear. “if it releases all that magic at once, it could destroy the whole room—and us with it.”
you nodded, your mind racing as you tried to think of a solution. “we need to contain the magic, redirect it somehow before it builds up too much.”
heeseung’s eyes darted around the room, and you could see the wheels turning in his mind. “i think i can create a barrier around it, but i’ll need your help to stabilize it. can you do that?”
you nodded, pushing yourself to your feet despite the pain. “i’ll do my best.”
working quickly, you and heeseung moved into position, your wands raised as you began casting the necessary spells. heeseung’s barrier started to form around the amulet, a shimmering dome of protective magic, but the unstable energy was resisting, threatening to break through.
“it’s not holding,” heeseung gritted out, sweat beading on his forehead as he fought to maintain the barrier. “i need more power—now!”
you didn’t hesitate, channeling your magic into the spell he was casting. the strain was immense, the pressure of the wild magic pushing against your combined efforts, but you held on, focusing all your energy on keeping the barrier intact.
for a few terrifying moments, it felt like the magic would overwhelm you, like the barrier would shatter and unleash the full force of the amulet’s power. but then, slowly, the chaotic energy began to stabilize, the violent pulses of magic subsiding as your spells took hold.
finally, after what felt like an eternity, the glow of the amulet began to fade, the crackling aura dissipating as the magic was safely contained. you and heeseung maintained the barrier for a few moments longer, just to be sure, before finally allowing it to dissolve.
as the room fell into an exhausted silence, you both stood there, breathing heavily, your hands trembling from the effort. the amulet now lay on the floor, inert and harmless, the danger passed.
“we did it,” you said softly, your voice filled with a mix of relief and disbelief.
heeseung nodded, his expression a mix of exhaustion and something else—something that looked almost like admiration. “yeah, we did. you were incredible, yn. i couldn’t have done it without you.”
you met his gaze, feeling a strange warmth in your chest despite the lingering fear and exhaustion. “we make a good team,” you admitted, the words coming easier now after everything you’d just been through.
heeseung smiled, a genuine, unguarded smile that you rarely saw from him. “yeah, we do.”
the days following the incident were marked by an undeniable shift in the way you and heeseung interacted. the rivalry that had once defined your relationship felt less intense, as if the near-disaster had forced you both to re-evaluate what truly mattered. neither of you brought up the magical mishap directly, but it hung in the air, a silent acknowledgment of the bond that had formed during those tense moments.
you noticed it first in the way heeseung spoke to you. gone was the sharp edge to his voice, the ever-present hint of competition. instead, his tone was more measured, even respectful. it was as if the experience had softened something in him, allowing a different side to emerge.
one afternoon, as you both sat in the library reviewing notes, you caught him glancing at you out of the corner of your eye. when you looked up, he didn’t immediately look away, instead holding your gaze for a moment longer than usual.
“about what happened,” heeseung began, his voice unusually quiet. “i’ve been thinking… maybe we’ve been going about this all wrong.”
you raised an eyebrow, curiosity piqued. “what do you mean?”
he sighed, running a hand through his hair as he searched for the right words. “we’ve spent so much time trying to outdo each other that we never really stopped to consider what we could accomplish if we actually worked together. i mean, look at what we did the other night. we barely made it out of that mess, but we did it—because we were working as a team.”
you nodded slowly, his words resonating with the thoughts that had been swirling in your mind since the incident. “yeah, you’re right. it’s strange… after all these years of competing, I never really thought about what it would be like to be on the same side. it’s… easier than I expected.”
heeseung smiled faintly, a hint of amusement in his eyes. “easier? coming from you, that’s saying something.”
you rolled your eyes, but there was no real annoyance behind it. “don’t get used to it.”
he chuckled, the sound surprisingly warm, and for a brief moment, the usual tension between you dissolved, replaced by something lighter, almost friendly.
as the days went by, this new dynamic began to take root. you still challenged each other, still pushed each other to be better, but there was a noticeable difference in the way you approached it. the sharp edges of your rivalry had softened, making room for something more collaborative.
one evening, while you were both working late in the library, the conversation drifted away from the project and onto more personal topics. it started innocently enough, with a question about favorite books, but soon, you found yourselves sharing more than just academic preferences.
“you know,” you said, leaning back in your chair, “i always thought you were just this arrogant gryffindor who enjoyed making my life difficult.”
heeseung laughed softly, shaking his head. “and i always thought you were a stuck-up ravenclaw who couldn’t stand to lose. guess we both had the wrong idea.”
“yeah,” you agreed, a small smile tugging at your lips. “it’s funny how things turn out.”
heeseung’s expression grew more serious, and he hesitated for a moment before speaking again. “there’s more to it than that, though. i’ve always felt like i had something to prove, like i had to be the best at everything to… i don’t know, be taken seriously, i guess. and competing with you—well, it made me push myself harder.”
you listened quietly, sensing that this was something he didn’t often talk about. “i get that,” you said after a moment. “i’ve always felt the same way. being the best is a way of proving to myself that i’m worth something. but i think… i think i’ve realized that there’s more to it than just winning.”
heeseung nodded, his gaze meeting yours with an intensity that made your heart skip a beat. “yeah. maybe we don’t have to be rivals all the time. maybe we can just… be.”
the simplicity of his words struck a chord with you, and for the first time in a long while, you felt the walls you’d built up around yourself start to crumble. the rivalry, the constant need to prove yourself—it all seemed less important in the face of the connection you were beginning to forge.
“maybe we can,” you agreed softly, a tentative smile crossing your face.
as the conversation continued, you found yourselves sharing stories, laughing at old memories, and even confiding in each other about your hopes and fears. the change was subtle, but undeniable. you were no longer just rivals, no longer defined solely by your competition. you were two people who had been through a lot together, who were starting to see each other in a new light.
you found yourselves meeting up more frequently, not just in the library or classrooms, but in quieter corners of the castle where you could work without interruption. at first, it was strictly about the project, but gradually, your conversations began to drift into more personal territory.
“i’ve never really asked,” you said one evening, as you both sat by the fire in the ravenclaw common room, books and parchment spread out before you. “why do you push yourself so hard in school? i mean, i get the competition, but it seems like there’s more to it.”
heeseung looked up from his notes, surprised by the question. he was silent for a moment, as if weighing how much to reveal. “i guess it’s because i’ve always felt like i had something to prove,” he admitted, his voice quieter than usual. “being the eldest son in my family comes with a lot of expectations. and at hogwarts, it’s like… it’s my chance to show that i’m capable of more than just living up to the family name. but it’s exhausting sometimes.”
you nodded, understanding all too well. “i know what you mean. for me, it’s about feeling like i belong. growing up, i was always the odd one out, the bookworm who didn’t quite fit in. being at the top here—it’s my way of proving that i’m good enough, that i deserve to be here. but yeah, it can be lonely.”
heeseung looked at you then, his gaze softer, more empathetic than you’d ever seen it. “i never thought about it like that,” he said quietly. “i guess we’re more alike than i realized.”
the shared understanding created a new kind of bond between you, one that extended beyond academic rivalry. over the next few weeks, your study sessions became more frequent, and your conversations grew deeper. you found yourself looking forward to these moments, enjoying his company in a way that surprised you.
the shift in your dynamic didn’t go unnoticed by your fellow students. whispers and sideways glances followed you in the hallways, and more than a few knowing smiles were exchanged when you and heeseung walked into the library together.
“well, well, look who’s finally getting along,” one of your ravenclaw classmates teased as you passed by. “i never thought i’d see the day.”
you rolled your eyes, trying to brush off the comment, but you couldn’t ignore the slight warmth that crept into your cheeks.
heeseung, however, seemed unfazed by the attention. “let them talk,” he said with a shrug as you both settled into your usual spot. “they’ve got nothing better to do.”
but the teasing wasn’t limited to just your house. in gryffindor, heeseung’s friends were just as quick to notice the change.
“so, heeseung,” jay drawled one afternoon as they sat in the common room, “you and yn seem to be spending a lot of time together these days. should we be expecting wedding invitations soon?”
heeseung shot him a withering look, though his friends could see the faintest hint of a smile tugging at his lips. “it’s not like that,” he muttered, but the way he avoided their eyes made them exchange amused glances.
“sure, sure,” jake chimed in, grinning. “it’s just a project, right? nothing more.”
“you guys are impossible,” heeseung sighed, shaking his head, but there was no real irritation in his voice. if anything, the teasing felt oddly comforting, a sign that even his friends could see the positive change in him.
over time, the teasing became a constant background noise, something neither of you could completely escape, but you found that it didn’t bother you as much as you thought it would. if anything, it only highlighted how much things had changed between you and heeseung. you were no longer just rivals locked in a never-ending battle for supremacy. you were… something else, something that neither of you had quite figured out yet.
and as the days went by, you realized that you didn’t mind the change. in fact, you were starting to welcome it.

as the end of the term approached, hogwarts was abuzz with excitement for the upcoming winter ball. the great hall was already being transformed, adorned with shimmering icicles and twinkling fairy lights that gave the castle a magical, ethereal glow. students chattered eagerly about their outfits, their dates, and the promise of a night filled with music, dancing, and festive cheer.
you, however, hadn’t given much thought to the ball. between your classes, the ongoing project with heeseung, and the unexpected shift in your dynamic, your mind was already occupied with enough complications. the idea of finding a date just seemed like another task on an already overflowing list.
that changed one afternoon when you found yourself alone in the courtyard, enjoying a rare moment of quiet. the crisp winter air nipped at your cheeks as you flipped through the pages of your book, trying to ignore the cold as you immersed yourself in your studies.
“yn?” a voice called, pulling you from your thoughts.
you looked up to see felix, a cheerful hufflepuff with a wide, friendly grin and an air of perpetual optimism. you’d always liked him; his bright energy was infectious, and he had a way of making everyone around him feel at ease.
“hey, felix,” you greeted him, closing your book and offering him a smile.
he seemed a little nervous, shifting from foot to foot as he approached. “um, i hope i’m not interrupting,” he began, glancing down at your book.
“no, not at all,” you replied, curious about what had brought him over. “what’s up?”
felix took a deep breath, as if steeling himself. “well, i was wondering… have you decided who you’re going to the winter ball with yet?”
the question caught you off guard. you hadn’t expected anyone to ask, especially not felix, and for a moment, you just stared at him, trying to process what he was saying.
“i… haven’t really thought about it,” you admitted, feeling a bit flustered.
“well, if you’re not going with anyone yet,” felix said, his grin widening as he took the plunge, “i was hoping you might consider going with me.”
before you could respond, a familiar voice cut through the air, laced with an unmistakable note of possessiveness.
“actually, she’s already going with me.”
you turned to see heeseung standing a few steps away, his expression calm but his eyes flashing with something that looked suspiciously like jealousy. his appearance was so sudden and unexpected that you found yourself momentarily speechless.
felix blinked, clearly surprised by the interruption. “oh… really? i didn’t know you two were—”
“we are,” heeseung interjected smoothly, stepping closer to you and giving you a look that was both challenging and expectant, as if daring you to contradict him.
you opened your mouth to protest, to correct him, but the words didn’t come. instead, you found yourself caught between the two of them, your mind racing to make sense of the situation.
felix, ever the good sport, chuckled awkwardly and raised his hands in surrender. “well, that’s settled then. i guess i’ll have to find someone else to go with,” he said, his tone light, though there was a hint of disappointment in his eyes.
“thanks for asking, though, felix,” you managed to say, still reeling from the sudden turn of events.
he gave you a good-natured smile. “no worries. see you at the ball, then.” with a final nod, felix turned and walked away, leaving you alone with heeseung.
the silence that followed was thick with unspoken words. you turned to heeseung, who was watching felix’s retreating figure with an unreadable expression.
“what was that about?” you asked, your voice tinged with confusion and more than a little annoyance. “i never agreed to go with you.”
heeseung finally looked at you, and you saw a flicker of something vulnerable beneath his usual confident facade. “i know,” he admitted, rubbing the back of his neck in a rare show of uncertainty. “but i couldn’t just let you go with someone else.”
you frowned, trying to make sense of his words. “why not?”
he hesitated, his gaze dropping to the ground before he spoke again. “because… because i wanted to go with you.”
the simplicity of his confession caught you off guard. for a moment, you didn’t know how to respond. you’d always seen heeseung as your rival, your equal in so many ways, but this was different. this was him, standing before you, stripped of the usual bravado and letting you see a side of him that you hadn’t fully acknowledged before.
“heeseung…” you started, unsure of what to say.
“look, i know it’s sudden,” he continued, his tone softer now. “and i know we’ve had our… issues. but things have been different between us lately, and i just thought—well, maybe we could try being something other than rivals, even if it’s just for one night.”
you studied him for a long moment, searching his face for any sign of the arrogance that usually defined your interactions. but all you saw was sincerity, and something that looked an awful lot like hope.
“okay,” you said finally, your voice quiet but firm. “i’ll go with you.”
his expression brightened, the tension in his shoulders easing as he let out a breath he didn’t seem to realize he’d been holding. “really?”
“really,” you confirmed, a small smile tugging at your lips despite the confusion still swirling in your mind.
heeseung’s answering smile was one of pure relief and genuine happiness. “great. i’ll… i’ll meet you at the entrance hall before the ball?”
you nodded, the reality of the situation finally sinking in. “yeah. sounds good.”
with that, heeseung gave you one last look, a mix of excitement and something else that made your heart flutter unexpectedly, before turning and walking away.
the next weekend, you found yourself in diagon alley, flanked by sunoo and yuna as you wandered through a boutique filled with elegant gowns and robes. the winter ball was fast approaching, and the three of you had decided to make a day of it, searching for the perfect outfits to wear.
as sunoo and yuna enthusiastically pulled dresses off racks, debating colors and styles, you found your thoughts drifting to heeseung. ever since he had asked you to the ball—if you could even call it asking—you hadn’t been able to stop thinking about him. the way he had looked at you, the way his voice had softened when he spoke… it was all so confusing.
“yn, what do you think of this one?” yuna’s voice broke through your thoughts, and you turned to see her holding up a shimmering navy gown with delicate silver embroidery.
“it’s beautiful,” you replied automatically, though your mind was elsewhere.
“but is it you?” sunoo chimed in, giving you a knowing look. “you’ve been a bit out of it today. something on your mind?”
you hesitated, not sure how to put your jumbled thoughts into words. “it’s nothing,” you said, trying to sound casual as you flipped through a rack of dresses.
“it’s obviously not nothing,” yuna pointed out, setting the dress aside and crossing her arms. “you’ve been spacing out all day. is this about the ball? or maybe… who you’re going with?”
you sighed, realizing there was no point in trying to hide it. sunoo and yuna knew you too well. “it’s heeseung,” you admitted, finally voicing the name that had been circling your mind. “i can’t figure out what’s going on between us. one minute we’re rivals, the next we’re working together, and now… now he’s asked me to the ball. but i don’t even know if he really likes me, or if he’s just messing with me.”
sunoo exchanged a glance with yuna, and they both gave you a sympathetic look. “have you thought about just asking him how he feels?” sunoo suggested gently. “it might clear things up.”
“or maybe you could try to figure out how you feel first,” yuna added, her tone soft. “it sounds like you’re just as confused about your own feelings as you are about his.”
you let out a frustrated breath, running a hand through your hair. “i know, but it’s just… complicated. he’s always been my rival, my competition. i don’t know how to deal with this sudden shift.”
“come on, let’s sit down for a minute,” sunoo said, taking your arm and steering you toward the dressing room area. yuna followed, concern etched on her face.
once inside the small, cozy room, sunoo and yuna guided you to one of the plush benches, sitting on either side of you. the soft lighting and quiet atmosphere provided a much-needed break from the overwhelming swirl of emotions you were feeling.
“yn,” yuna began, her voice soothing, “it’s okay to be confused. you’ve been dealing with a lot lately, and it’s only natural that your feelings might be all over the place. but whatever you’re feeling, it’s valid. you don’t have to have everything figured out right now.”
sunoo nodded in agreement, resting a comforting hand on your shoulder. “and if heeseung really does like you—and it sounds like he might—then he’ll understand that this is new territory for you both. you don’t have to rush into anything. just take it one step at a time.”
you looked between your two friends, their warmth and understanding providing a balm to your frayed nerves. “thanks, guys,” you said quietly, a small smile tugging at your lips. “i guess i just needed to hear that it’s okay to not have all the answers.”
“of course it’s okay,” yuna said, squeezing your hand. “and whatever happens, we’ll be here for you. whether you end up with heeseung or not, we’ve got your back.”
sunoo grinned, his usual playful demeanor shining through. “and hey, if heeseung gives you any trouble, you know we’ll take care of him.”
you couldn’t help but laugh at that, the tension in your chest easing a little. “i’m sure you will.”
the night of the winter ball arrived, and hogwarts was transformed into a winter wonderland. the great hall was adorned with twinkling lights, enchanted snowflakes drifting down from the enchanted ceiling without ever touching the ground. the sound of soft music filled the air, setting the stage for an evening of magic and memories.
you stood in front of the mirror in your dormitory, adjusting the soft, flowing fabric of your dress—the very same navy gown yuna had suggested. its silver embroidery shimmered in the candlelight, complementing the simple yet elegant look you had chosen. despite your earlier doubts, you couldn’t deny that you felt a mix of excitement and nerves fluttering in your stomach.
“you look amazing,” yuna said, smiling as she fixed the last few strands of her hair in the mirror beside you. sunoo, dressed in sharp robes, gave you an approving nod.
“heeseung’s not going to know what hit him,” sunoo teased, winking at you.
you rolled your eyes, though you couldn’t help but smile. “let’s just hope he doesn’t trip over his own feet when he sees me.”
with a final deep breath, you made your way to the entrance hall, where students were gathering before entering the great hall. you spotted heeseung almost immediately, standing off to the side, talking with jay, jake, and ni-ki. he looked up as you approached, his gaze locking onto yours, and for a moment, it felt like everything else faded away.
heeseung was dressed in dark, tailored robes that accentuated his tall frame, his hair neatly styled. but what caught your attention most was the way he was looking at you—something warm and appreciative in his eyes that sent a shiver down your spine.
“you look… wow,” heeseung said, his voice almost a whisper as you reached him. he seemed momentarily at a loss for words, a rare sight for someone usually so confident and quick with a remark.
“you don’t look so bad yourself,” you replied, trying to ignore the way your heart was pounding in your chest.
his friends took the opportunity to make themselves scarce, offering you both knowing grins as they wandered off into the crowd. you and heeseung were left standing there, the unspoken tension between you suddenly feeling much more tangible.
“shall we?” heeseung asked, offering you his arm with a slightly awkward but endearing smile.
you hesitated for only a moment before accepting, looping your arm through his. together, you made your way into the great hall, the soft strains of music growing louder as you entered the beautifully decorated room. chandeliers glimmered overhead, casting a warm glow over the assembled students, who were already beginning to pair off and dance.
for a while, the two of you simply walked around the edges of the hall, exchanging polite conversation about anything but the real question hovering between you. you couldn’t help but notice how heeseung’s arm stayed close to yours, how he seemed to be making a conscious effort to stay by your side.
finally, after what felt like an eternity, heeseung stopped and turned to face you, his expression a mix of nervousness and determination. “do you… want to dance?” he asked, his voice softer than you’d ever heard it.
“i’d like that,” you replied, surprising even yourself with how much you meant it.
he led you onto the dance floor, the soft strains of a waltz beginning to play as you found your place among the other couples. heeseung’s hand rested lightly on your waist, his other hand holding yours with a gentleness that contrasted with the fierce competitor you were so used to seeing.
the first few steps were tentative, both of you trying to find your rhythm. it was awkward at first—heeseung’s foot nearly caught on the hem of your dress, and you stumbled slightly as you tried to keep up with the music. but then heeseung let out a quiet laugh, the sound light and warm, and you found yourself laughing too.
“maybe we’re not cut out for ballroom dancing,” you joked, your nerves easing as you looked up at him.
“speak for yourself,” heeseung shot back playfully, his smile widening. “i’m just getting started.”
with that, he spun you gently, and you couldn’t help but smile at the way he seemed to be enjoying himself. the awkwardness began to fade, replaced by a strange but pleasant feeling of comfort. you found your rhythm together, your steps more in sync with each passing moment.
as the music swelled, you felt something shift between you. there was a new understanding, a silent acknowledgment that things were different now. it wasn’t just about competition or rivalry anymore—it was about enjoying each other’s company, about recognizing the connection that had grown between you.
when the song finally ended, you found yourself still in his arms, neither of you making a move to pull away. the applause of the other students was just background noise as you looked up at him, your heart beating a little faster.
“i had fun,” heeseung said softly, his gaze holding yours.
“me too,” you admitted, realizing that you meant it more than you ever thought you would.
for a moment, it seemed like he might say something more, but then the next song started, and you both became aware of the other students around you. with a slightly bashful smile, heeseung stepped back, releasing your hand reluctantly.
“should we get some punch?” he suggested, trying to break the sudden tension.
“yeah, that sounds good,” you agreed, though a part of you missed the closeness already.
as you walked off the dance floor together, you couldn’t help but feel that this night had marked a turning point. the rivalry that had once defined your relationship was beginning to fade, replaced by something new—something that was still unfolding, but felt like the start of something important.
as the night wound down and the last notes of music faded into the background, the students began to filter out of the great hall, their laughter and chatter filling the corridors of hogwarts. you and heeseung lingered near the entrance, neither of you in a rush to return to your respective common rooms. the night had been unexpectedly wonderful, and neither of you seemed ready for it to end.
“want to take the long way back?” heeseung asked, his voice quiet, as if not to disturb the magic of the evening.
you nodded, feeling the same reluctance to let the moment slip away. “sure.”
together, you slipped out of the main entrance and into the cool night air. the grounds were bathed in the soft glow of moonlight, the stars twinkling brightly in the clear sky above. the castle loomed behind you, its silhouette majestic against the night, but your attention was focused on the path ahead and the quiet presence beside you.
for a while, you walked in comfortable silence, the only sounds the gentle rustling of the trees and the distant hooting of an owl. it was peaceful, almost surreal after the bustling energy of the ball.
“tonight was… different,” heeseung finally said, breaking the silence. his voice was thoughtful, as if he were carefully choosing his words.
“yeah, it was,” you agreed, glancing up at him. “but it was nice.”
“it was,” he echoed, a small smile playing on his lips. “i didn’t think we’d end up having fun, to be honest.”
“neither did i,” you admitted with a chuckle. “i guess we’re both full of surprises.”
heeseung laughed softly, the sound carrying in the stillness of the night. “i guess we are. you know, i always thought we’d be stuck as rivals forever, constantly trying to outdo each other.”
“me too,” you said, your tone growing more reflective. “but maybe that’s just how we needed to start. it’s how we pushed each other to be better.”
heeseung nodded, his gaze fixed on the stars above. “and maybe… maybe there’s more to us than just competition.”
you felt your heart skip a beat at his words, the implication hanging in the air between you. “maybe,” you said softly, unsure of what else to say.
you continued walking, the silence between you now filled with unspoken thoughts and questions. there was a new understanding between you, something that felt fragile and new, yet powerful. it was as if the night itself was holding its breath, waiting to see where this newfound connection would lead.
as you approached the point where your paths would diverge—him to gryffindor tower and you to the ravenclaw common room—heeseung slowed his steps, turning to face you.
“i’m glad we did this,” he said, his voice sincere. “i’m glad we… got to know each other a little better.”
“me too,” you replied, meeting his gaze. “it feels like a new beginning.”
heeseung smiled, a genuine, warm smile that reached his eyes. “yeah, it does.”
there was a moment of hesitation, as if both of you were waiting for something more to be said, something that might tip the balance of whatever was happening between you. but then, with a small, almost shy nod, heeseung stepped back.
“goodnight, yn,” he said, his voice gentle.
“goodnight, heeseung,” you replied, a soft smile on your lips.

The days following the winter ball were a confusing whirlwind of emotions. Your interactions with Heeseung had become charged with an unspoken tension that neither of you dared to address. The rivalry that had once defined your relationship seemed to be fading, replaced by something much more complicated. You found yourself drawn to him in ways you never expected, but the fear of the unknown kept you on edge.
Every time you were together, whether it was working on your project or passing each other in the corridors, there was a lingering sense of anticipation, like something was about to happen. It was both exhilarating and terrifying. The way he looked at you had changed—there was a softness in his gaze that hadn’t been there before, but it was always coupled with an underlying tension that kept you both on guard.
One afternoon, you and Heeseung were in the library, surrounded by stacks of ancient books and parchment. The project was almost complete, and with it, the excuse to spend time together was coming to an end. Heeseung was unusually quiet, his focus seemingly elsewhere as he absently flipped through a dusty tome.
“Are you okay?” you asked, breaking the silence, your voice softer than usual. You’d grown accustomed to his company, and the thought of something being wrong between you gnawed at your insides.
Heeseung didn’t look up. “Just thinking,” he replied, his tone distant.
“About what?” you pressed, sensing that whatever was bothering him, it had to do with more than just the project.
He finally met your eyes, but instead of the warmth you had come to expect, there was a hardness there, something defensive. “About how maybe we’ve been wasting our time on this project. I mean, what’s the point? It’s not like we’re going to change anything.”
His words felt like a slap in the face, cutting through the fragile connection you had been building. You had poured your energy into this project, but more than that, you had opened yourself up to him in ways you hadn’t done with anyone else. And now, it felt like he was dismissing all of it.
“What are you talking about?” you asked, trying to keep the hurt out of your voice. “We’ve been working hard on this—together.”
Heeseung’s expression was unreadable, but his voice was laced with frustration. “Yeah, together,” he repeated. “But maybe we’ve been too focused on this… on us, and not enough on what really matters.”
The implication behind his words stung deeply. It felt like he was saying that everything between you—the late-night study sessions, the shared glances, the subtle shifts in your dynamic—meant nothing to him. Your chest tightened, and you felt a surge of anger rise up, mingling with the hurt.
“So you think this was a mistake? That we were a mistake?” you asked, your voice trembling as you struggled to keep your emotions in check.
“No, that’s not what I—” Heeseung started, but the damage was already done.
You stood up abruptly, your chair scraping loudly against the stone floor, drawing the attention of a few nearby students. “If that’s how you feel, then maybe we should just finish this project and go back to being rivals,” you snapped, the bitterness in your tone making it clear how much his words had affected you. “It’s clearly all we’re good at.”
Heeseung’s face fell, and you could see the regret in his eyes, but your hurt and anger were too strong to let him off the hook that easily. Without another word, you gathered your things and stormed out of the library, leaving him sitting there, looking like he wanted to take back every word he had just said. But it was too late. The fragile connection you had begun to form was shattered.
The days that followed were some of the hardest you’d experienced at Hogwarts. You threw yourself into your studies and Quidditch practice, anything to distract yourself from the gaping hole that had been left by your fight with Heeseung. Sunoo and Yuna noticed the change in you, but they gave you space, sensing that you weren’t ready to talk about what had happened.
But no matter how much you tried to focus on other things, your thoughts kept circling back to him. The hurtful words he had said, the regret in his eyes as you walked away—it all replayed in your mind over and over again. You had never been this affected by someone before, and the realization of just how much Heeseung meant to you was overwhelming.
You missed him. You missed the way he challenged you, the way he made you laugh even when you didn’t want to, the way he looked at you like you were the only person in the room. But more than anything, you missed the way he had started to let you see the real him, the parts of himself that he kept hidden from everyone else.
In Gryffindor Tower, Heeseung was going through his own turmoil. He hadn’t meant to hurt you, but his fear of what he was feeling had driven him to push you away. It had been easier to fall back on the familiar role of rivals than to face the truth: that he cared about you more than he had ever cared about anyone else. But now, with you gone, he was left with nothing but regret.
He replayed your argument in his head, wishing he could take back every word. He missed you, more than he thought possible. The way you challenged him, the way you made him want to be better, the way your presence had become something he looked forward to every day. He couldn’t ignore it any longer. He was in love with you, and the thought of losing you was unbearable.
It took several days of wrestling with his emotions, but eventually, Heeseung knew what he had to do. He couldn’t let things end like this, not when there was still so much left unsaid.
Tumblr media
It was late in the evening when you returned to the Ravenclaw common room after a grueling Quidditch practice. Your muscles ached, and all you wanted was to collapse into bed and forget about the day. But as you stepped through the entrance, you were greeted by an unexpected sight.
Heeseung was standing by the entrance, his posture tense and his eyes locked on you the moment you walked in. He looked like he hadn’t slept in days, his usual confident demeanor replaced by something much more vulnerable.
“YN, wait,” he said, his voice almost pleading as he took a step towards you.
You hesitated, your heart pounding in your chest. You weren’t sure if you were ready for this conversation, but something in his expression made you pause.
“What do you want, Heeseung?” you asked, your voice guarded. You couldn’t afford to be hurt by him again.
“To apologize,” he said quickly, his voice filled with urgency. “And to explain.”
You crossed your arms, trying to maintain your composure. “Go on.”
Heeseung took a deep breath, as if steeling himself for what he was about to say. “I didn’t mean what I said the other day,” he began, his voice filled with regret. “I was… scared, confused. This whole thing with us, it’s different, and it caught me off guard. I’ve spent so long thinking of you as my rival, as someone I needed to beat, that I didn’t know how to handle it when I started feeling… something more.”
His words hung in the air, and you felt your heart start to race. You had suspected, hoped even, that he might feel the same way, but hearing it out loud was a different matter entirely.
“So you pushed me away,” you said, your voice softer now, the hurt still evident but mixed with something else—understanding.
Heeseung nodded, his expression pained. “Yeah, and that was wrong. I’ve been an idiot, YN. The truth is, I’ve come to care about you—a lot. More than I ever thought I could. And the thought of messing that up scared me, so I tried to pretend like it didn’t matter, like we didn’t matter. But we do. You do.”
You could see the sincerity in his eyes, the vulnerability that he was laying bare before you. Heeseung, who had always been so confident, so sure of himself, was now standing in front of you, admitting his fears and his feelings. It was a side of him you had never seen before, and it made your heart ache with both sadness and hope.
“You really hurt me, you know,” you said, your voice trembling as you let yourself acknowledge the pain he had caused.
“I know,” Heeseung replied, his voice filled with remorse. “And I’m so sorry. I don’t want to hurt you, YN. I want to be with you. Not as rivals, but as… something more. If you’ll give me another chance.”
There was a long pause as you stood there, processing his words. The anger and hurt you had been holding onto for days were slowly melting away, replaced by a warmth that you couldn’t ignore. Heeseung had hurt you, yes, but he was also the person who had challenged you, who had pushed you to be better, who had made you feel things you had never felt before. And as you looked into his eyes, you realized that you didn’t want to go back to the way things were. You wanted to move forward—with him.
Finally, you nodded, a small smile tugging at your lips. “I think I’d like that,” you said, your voice soft but filled with hope.
Relief washed over Heeseung’s face, and he let out a breath he didn’t realize he had been holding. “Thank you,” he said, his voice filled with gratitude.
Before you could respond, he stepped forward and wrapped you in a tight, warm embrace. It was the first time he had ever hugged you, and it felt like everything had finally fallen into place. All the tension, all the rivalry, all the confusion—it all melted away in that moment, leaving only the two of you, standing together under the soft glow of the common room’s enchanted candles.
As you rested your head against his chest, you couldn’t help but smile, knowing that whatever came next, you were ready to face it together. And as Heeseung held you close, you knew he felt the same.

there is an intense rivalry between you, always trying to outdo each other in various areas of your lives. but this time, your competition takes an intimate turn. the tension between you is tense as you face each other, eyes locked with an unspoken conflict.
“first one to moan must do the other one a favor,” he proudly proposes.
“you’re gonna regret that.”
“we’ll see about that,” he retorts, eyes glinting with determination.
you start with a gentle touch, tracing your fingers along his jawline. you lean in, lips hovering over his. but before you can make a move, he turns your head
“not so fast,” he whispers, a sly smile on his face.
he runs his hands through your hair, pulling you closer to him. his touches become more aggressive as he explores every inch of your body.
determined to win, you push him onto the bed and waste no time to straddle him, hands roaming over his body. you trail kisses down his neck, making him let out a low groan. a sense of power washes over you as you feel him getting harder beneath you. you know you’re in control now, you know you’re close to victory.
but he’s not gonna let you win, especially without a fight. “is that all you’ve got?” he flips you over, his lips finding yours in a deep passionate kiss. his hands travel your body once again, trying to find the right spot to make you moan.
suddenly, his hands slip between your legs and find your clit. you can’t hold back anymore, a loud moan escaped your lips.
“fuck, we haven’t even started yet.” his eyes gleam with mischief. “looks like you owe me a favor, huh?”
“fuck you.” you glare at him, knowing that you have no choice.
a mischievous smile spreads across his face as an idea pops into his head. “actually, i don’t want to end this just yet. shall we continue without the favor? i wanna see how long i can make you moan.”

One step ahead - TN, enemies to lovers + academic rivals
Description: You and Theodore hate each other. Amidst exam season, was the tension and the teasing because of your rivalry or something else?
Word count: 1.2k
Authors Note: I'm backkkkkkkk, sorry for not being as active been so flat out, but this story came into my head, and I just couldn't resist
...
You glared at Theodore across your charms class, his gaze already haunting you before you could find his eye line.
It was always a competition; who would break away first, but he always won.
Regardless of being in the same friendship group, it did not affect your rivalry.
Since children, you hated everything about each other.
You hated how he strutted. You hated how he'd be so sure he was right about everything. You hated the way he flirted with every girl in Hogwarts, you hated how he'd always find a way out of trouble, regardless of always breaking the rules, You hated the way he sounded so sophisticated, even, if not, especially when he cussed.
He hated the way you'd smile, and get your every which way bewitching anyone with that stupid perfect mouth of yours. He hated how guys would kneel down to you, he hated how you always managed to hold such composure even when you were slaughtered drunk, how you fluttered your eyes up, and more than anything, he hated how he couldn't get rid of you, you lived in his mind, you danced in his head like a memory he couldn't shake.
As he made his way towards your desk, his face didn't budge, his expression curious, like he had planned what he was going to say before he even got to you.
he leaned over and inspected your grade, his arm leading awfully close to your hand, "One point behind me" he almost laughed
Your brows threatening to furrow, his lips threatening to smirk.
"Well, next quiz, you'll be two points behind me" you insisted
"Shame that's not true", he shrugged, "I'll always be one point and step in front of you." he practically gritted through his teeth
With that, the bell rang, he turned and made his exit. Not that easily, you thought, shoving into his shoulder, overtaking his place in the corridor. You didn't look back, you didn't need to, you already knew his eyes were watching you, you felt them.
With exams coming up, the pressure was on, more than ever, to outdo each other's intelligence.
Sitting around a large round table at the table were Matteo, Enzo, Theo, Pansy, Draco and yourself, most eyes glued to books, except Theo's. His eyes found themselves studying your face instead of his charms book. When you caught him staring, you rolled your eyes and took a deep breath, concentrating back on your notes; you thought he's just trying to distract me. Do not let him win, you reminded yourself, fighting the urge to look back up.
When your exams finally finished, you dropped your pencil and followed everyone out of the hall, Theodore found himself beside you, "Stand still for a second, Nott" you say. He listened and waited for what you were about to say; you took one big step in front of him "see that, one step ahead" you smiled as you continued to walk backwards, he laughed, actually laughed, shaking his head. You couldn't help but smile yourself.
"Did you see that?" Pansy says, nudging into Draco's shoulder, "See what?" he questions. "I think they're... getting along... in their own fucked up way," she concluded, her head tilted to make sure what she was seeing wasn't in her own mind. "Maybe hell has frozen over", he said, watching, equally as shocked as Pansy.
Sitting patiently in your chair, waiting for you exam results.
When you flip your page over, you smile, confident you have beaten Theodore, "98" you mouth to him from across the room, his lips turn into an exaggerated frown lifting his paper up for you to see. 98.5 written at the top of his page.
You have to be fucking kidding me! You wanted to scream, point five, point motherfucking five, are you kidding me?!
Throwing your page back onto your desk, you were pissed, as Theodore had never been more pleased.
You didn't wait around for his snarky comments, you walk straight out of class, you were in no mood to be trifled with.
Spending the rest of the day in your room, not showing up for dinner, you had no appetite for food, or Theodore's reminders of beating you, just.
Just after 11pm, you couldn't sleep. Being a weekend with no curfew, you grabbed your packet and stormed outside, desperately fighting the wind, trying to light your cigarette.
"need a hand?" Theodore said covering your smoke from the wind, you said nothing back, instead leaning slightly on the wall behind you.
"What are you doing here?" you finally replied
"I could ask you the same question," he retorts
You couldn't look at him, so mad, you were scared you would cry or hit him, which would encrypt guilt or satisfaction?
"Look at me when I speak to you," he demanded. Had he been talking? We were so caught up in your thoughts that you couldn't hear anything he had said.
Clocking your head towards him, "Don't tell me what to do", you huff, exhaling. He snatched the smoke out of your lips, stomping on it
"Sorry?" He gritted, spineless
Rolling your eyes, he took hold of your face, more specifically, your chin, "Don't fucking roll your eyes at me again, understand?" he instructed "I always roll my eyes at you" You reply, eyes squinting in anger
"Not anymore," he said calmly
Now you were confused, "I don't un-" you start
"Understand, yeah, I know" he finishes
"But that's a lie, I do understand, and so do you, all too well" He continues as he stalks closer to you, to the point your back is now completely pressed against the wall
Your heart rate picked up, "You hate me. I hate you too," You had to say out loud, trying to remind each other about your feelings
"Tsk, tsk, tsk," he says, pressing his chest onto you
"Don't do this" you begged. He didn't listen. He just kept getting impossibly closer.
You huffed out a deep and heavy sigh. "What's wrong" he practically whispers
"I'm frustrated because I hate you, you frustrate me" you hiss out
"No," he said, as his mouth rested at the top of your neck. "You're not frustrated because you hate me; you're frustrated because you want me." He breathed onto you without thinking you pulled his face upright, crashing your lips with his for what felt like too long.
"Theodore" you rushed, catching your breath
"Don't pull away from me" he pleaded, kissing you harder.
Finally, leaning off him, you turned away, "Why did we do that" you ask, were you asking him or yourself?
"We can't help it" He soothes, turning you back over to face him again
"I have a bad habit of breaking everything I touch, y'know," he admits, his hand gripping the back of your neck, the other firm on your waist.
"go on then," you say above a whisper, hands linking behind his neck.
"Break me. Touch me." You purr.

Flavors of Love (M. Sana X M! Reader)
Tumblr media
My first 3rd Gen Girlgroup oneshots, and it's none other than my lovely bias Sana! Nothing much to say here, and as always hope you all enjoy this one!
Tumblr media
The bustling urban neighborhood was alive with the clamor of a thousand voices and the mouth-watering aromas of street food. Amid the chaos stood two food trucks, locked in a fierce battle for culinary supremacy. On one side was Sana's 'Sweet Eats,' a vibrant truck adorned with pastel colors and whimsical designs, offering the most delectable desserts. On the other side was Y/N's 'Savory Bites,' a sleek and modern truck serving up irresistible snacks that could make anyone's mouth water.
Sana and Y/N were the talk of the town. Their rivalry had become legendary, with each trying to outdo the other in flavor, presentation, and customer service. Sana's desserts were a symphony of sweetness, with intricate decorations and bold flavors that left customers in awe. Y/N's snacks were a carnival of savory delights, with perfectly balanced spices and innovative combinations that kept people coming back for more.
Despite their differences, the two had one thing in common: their unwavering passion for food.
It was early morning, and the sun was just beginning to peek over the horizon. Sana was already hard at work, preparing her famous macarons. Her assistant, Momo, a bubbly young woman with a passion for baking, was by her side.
"Morning, Sana! Ready to take on Y/N today?" Momo asked with a grin.
Sana smirked. "Always. We have to make sure our desserts are perfect. The customers expect nothing less."
Just across the street, Y/N was busy prepping his ingredients for the day. His best friend and sous-chef, Eunwoo, was helping him chop vegetables for their signature sliders.
"Think we can beat Sana today, Y/N?" Eunwoo asked, glancing over at the pastel-colored truck.
Y/N chuckled. "We don't need to beat her, Eunwoo. We just need to be the best at what we do. Our food will speak for itself."
As the day progressed, the lunch crowd began to gather. People lined up at both trucks, eager to taste the delicious offerings.
"Two chocolate lava cakes and a strawberry tart, please," a customer ordered at Sana's truck.
"Coming right up!" Sana replied with a smile, her hands moving deftly to prepare the order.
Over at Y/N's truck, a group of friends was debating which snacks to try.
"Those sliders look amazing," one of them said.
"Yeah, and I've heard the spicy wings are to die for," another added.
Y/N overheard and grinned. "Why not try both? I promise you won't be disappointed."
The friends laughed and placed their order, excited to taste Y/N's creations.
By mid-afternoon, the competition between Sana and Y/N was in full swing. The aroma of sweet and savory delights filled the air, drawing even more customers.
Sana glanced over at Y/N's truck and noticed the long line of people waiting. She frowned and turned to Momo.
"We need to step it up, Momo. Let's bring out the new recipe for the salted caramel cupcakes."
Momo nodded and quickly got to work, her hands flying as she mixed the ingredients.
Meanwhile, Eunwoo was helping Y/N plate their famous nachos when he noticed Sana's truck bustling with activity.
"Looks like Sana's got something new," Eunwoo said, nodding towards 'Sweet Eats.'
Y/N raised an eyebrow. "Interesting. Let's see if we can surprise her with our new truffle fries."
As the evening approached, the rivalry between the two food trucks became more evident. Sana and Y/N exchanged glances and smirks, each determined to outdo the other.
During a brief lull, Y/N decided to approach Sana's truck. He leaned against the counter, a playful grin on his face.
"Hey, Sana. Heard you got something new today. Trying to keep up with me?" he teased.
Sana rolled her eyes but couldn't help but smile. "In your dreams, Y/N. My salted caramel cupcakes are going to be the talk of the town."
Y/N chuckled. "We'll see about that. Just wait until you try my truffle fries."
Momo watched the exchange with amusement. "You two are like an old married couple," she said, laughing.
Sana and Y/N both blushed and quickly looked away, their competitive facade momentarily cracking.
Among their regular customers were Mr. and Mrs. Kim, an elderly couple who had lived in the neighborhood for decades. They were well-known for their friendly demeanor and love for good food.
"Good evening, Sana dear," Mrs. Kim greeted as she approached 'Sweet Eats.' "We'll have our usual, please."
"Of course, Mrs. Kim. Two lemon meringue pies coming right up," Sana replied warmly.
Over at 'Savory Bites,' Mr. Kim was chatting with Y/N.
"You know, young man, I think your sliders are the best in the city," he said with a wink.
"Thanks, Mr. Kim. That means a lot," Y/N replied, genuinely touched.
The Kims were just two of the many regulars who frequented both trucks, enjoying the delicious food and the friendly rivalry between Sana and Y/N.
As the day came to a close, both food trucks began to wind down. The sun was setting, casting a warm glow over the neighborhood. Sana and Y/N were exhausted but satisfied with their day's work.
Momo and Eunwoo were chatting nearby, discussing the day's events.
"Do you think they'll ever admit they like each other?" Momo asked, glancing at Sana and Y/N.
Eunwoo laughed. "Not a chance. They're both too stubborn. But it's fun to watch them dance around it."
Sana and Y/N exchanged a look, both aware of the unspoken connection between them. Despite their rivalry, there was a mutual respect and understanding that went beyond their competitive banter.
As they packed up for the night, Sana approached Y/N's truck one last time.
"Good job today, Y/N. Your truffle fries were amazing," she said sincerely.
Y/N smiled. "Thanks, Sana. Your salted caramel cupcakes were pretty incredible too."
They stood there for a moment, the tension between them easing. For now, the rivalry was set aside, replaced by a shared appreciation for each other's talent.
As they parted ways, both Sana and Y/N couldn't help but wonder what the future held for their food trucks—and for their unexpected connection.
————————————————————
The annual food festival was the highlight of the year for the neighborhood. Food trucks from all over the city gathered to showcase their best dishes, and the competition for the 'Best Food Truck' title was fierce. Sana and Y/N had been preparing for weeks, each determined to claim the coveted prize.
The festival was in full swing, with music playing, people laughing, and the smell of delicious food filling the air. Sana's 'Sweet Eats' was a hit, with people lining up for her famous macarons and decadent chocolate cakes. Y/N's 'Savory Bites' was no less popular, with his signature sliders and spicy wings drawing crowds.
The rivalry between Sana and Y/N was on full display. They exchanged glares and snarky comments, each trying to outshine the other. But beneath the surface, there was a grudging respect for each other's talent and dedication.
The morning of the food festival was a flurry of activity. Sana and Momo were setting up their display, making sure every dessert was perfectly arranged.
"Make sure those macarons are front and center, Momo. They need to catch people's eyes," Sana instructed.
Momo nodded, adjusting the trays. "You got it, boss. We're going to knock their socks off."
Across the festival grounds, Y/N and Eunwoo were busy grilling sliders and arranging their signature spicy wings.
"Think we're ready, Eunwoo?" Y/N asked, wiping his brow.
Eunwoo grinned. "Ready as we'll ever be. Let's show them what 'Savory Bites' is all about."
As the festival progressed, the judges began making their rounds. This year, the panel included renowned food critic, Elena Martinez, local celebrity chef, Marcus Lee, and the beloved neighborhood mayor, Mrs. Robinson.
Elena was the first to visit 'Sweet Eats.' She sampled a macaron, her eyes closing in appreciation. "Exquisite. The texture is perfect, and the flavors are bold yet balanced."
Sana beamed. "Thank you, Ms. Martinez. We strive for perfection."
Next, the judges moved to 'Savory Bites.' Marcus took a bite of a slider, his expression thoughtful. "Impressive. The spices are perfectly balanced, and the meat is tender and juicy."
Y/N nodded. "We use a special blend of spices to enhance the flavor."
As the evening wore on, Sana noticed the judges heading towards Y/N's truck again. She frowned, feeling a pang of anxiety. Deciding to take matters into her own hands, she approached Y/N's truck.
"Hey, Y/N. How about a friendly wager?" she asked, her eyes sparkling with mischief.
Y/N raised an eyebrow. "What kind of wager?"
"Whoever wins the 'Best Food Truck' title has to treat the other to dinner," Sana suggested, a challenge in her voice.
Y/N smirked. "You're on, Sana. Get ready to lose."
Just as the festival was reaching its peak, disaster struck. The entire area was plunged into darkness due to a sudden power outage. Panic spread through the crowd, but the food trucks had backup generators that kicked in, providing some relief.
However, the storage tent where all the supplies were kept was not so lucky. Sana and Y/N found themselves trapped inside, surrounded by boxes of ingredients and supplies.
"Great, just what I needed," Sana muttered, folding her arms and leaning against a stack of flour bags.
"Yeah, because being stuck with you is my idea of a good time," Y/N shot back, rolling his eyes.
Sana shot him a glare. "You could lighten up a bit, you know."
"Me? Lighten up? That’s rich coming from you," he quipped, crossing his arms defiantly.
They stood in silence for a while, the only sound the distant murmur of people outside and the occasional creak of the tent.
After what felt like an eternity, Sana broke the silence. "So, why food trucks? Why not a restaurant or something?"
Y/N glanced at her, surprised by the question. "I like the freedom. No fixed location, no overhead costs. Plus, I get to meet new people every day. What about you?"
Sana shrugged. "Same here, I guess. I love the creativity and the challenge. Every day is different, and I get to make people happy with my desserts."
"Even when it means competing against me?" he teased.
"Especially when it means competing against you!" she shot back with a laugh.
They both chuckled, the initial hostility giving way to a tentative truce.
As the night wore on, they began to talk more freely. They shared stories of their early days in the business, the challenges they had faced, and their dreams for the future.
Sana leaned back against a crate, her eyes sparkling. "I dream of opening a bakery one day, a cozy spot where people can come and enjoy my desserts. Something special."
"That sounds amazing, Sana. You’d make it a warm, inviting place," Y/N said, genuinely impressed.
Y/N spoke of his desire to start a culinary school, where he could teach others the art of cooking and inspire the next generation of chefs.
"Teaching is a big responsibility," Sana mused. "You really think you could handle it?"
"I could if I had a great assistant," he winked, causing her to laugh again.
To their surprise, they found that they had a lot in common. They both came from humble beginnings, had worked hard to get where they were, and were driven by a deep love for food.
As they talked, the atmosphere in the tent began to change. The rivalry that had defined their relationship started to fade, replaced by a growing connection. They laughed and joked, shared their hopes and fears, and found comfort in each other's company.
At one point, Sana reached for a box of supplies and accidentally brushed against Y/N's hand. They both froze, the contact sending a jolt of electricity through them.
"Sorry," Sana said, pulling back quickly, her cheeks flushing.
"It's okay," Y/N replied, his voice softer than usual. He could feel his heart racing.
Sana’s gaze fell to the ground for a moment before she looked back up at him. "You know, you’re not as unbearable as I thought."
Y/N smirked. "And you’re not as sweet as your desserts."
Their eyes met, and for a moment, the world outside the tent seemed to disappear. There was something there, something that neither of them had expected but could no longer ignore.
Just as quickly as it had gone out, the power came back on, flooding the tent with light. Sana and Y/N blinked in the sudden brightness, the spell broken.
"Well, there goes our moment," Sana said, her voice laced with disappointment.
"Yeah, back to reality," Y/N sighed, forcing a grin. They quickly gathered their supplies, the mood shifting again as they realized what had just happened.
As they stepped out of the tent, the festival atmosphere buzzed with life once more. But the tension between them had transformed; the fierce competition was now mixed with an undeniable chemistry.
————————————————————
The days following the festival were filled with hilarious and heartwarming encounters as Sana and Y/N tried to navigate their new dynamic. They still competed fiercely, each trying to outdo the other, but there was a new layer to their interactions.
One afternoon, while setting up for lunch, Sana caught Y/N glancing at her. She smiled and waved. "Enjoying the view?"
Tumblr media
Y/N chuckled, shaking his head. "You wish! I was just... checking on my competition."
"Right, keep telling yourself that," she teased back.
They found themselves thinking about each other more often, wondering what the other was doing, and looking for excuses to talk. Their banter became more playful, their glances lingered a little longer, and their rivalry took on a new, more personal dimension.
However, confusion and mixed signals abounded. One day, Sana might seem distant, focusing solely on her work, while the next, she’d be laughing at Y/N’s jokes and leaning in a little too close.
One day, as they both waited in line for coffee, Y/N caught her eye. "What’s it gonna be today, Sana? Another one of those fancy frappes?"
Sana smirked, crossing her arms. "Actually, I was thinking of getting a plain black coffee. You know, to fuel my superior baking skills."
"Plain coffee for plain competition?" Y/N shot back playfully.
Sana leaned closer, a mock-serious expression on her face. "Don’t underestimate the power of simplicity."
Y/N couldn’t help but laugh, feeling the familiar spark ignite again. But as they bantered, an undercurrent of tension lingered, complicating their every interaction.
However, confusion and mixed signals abounded. One day, Sana might seem distant, focusing solely on her work, while the next, she’d be laughing at Y/N’s jokes and leaning in a little too close. Y/N, too, found himself caught between wanting to keep things professional and feeling an undeniable pull towards Sana.
————————————————————
Enter Mina, a charismatic food blogger with a massive following. Mina had heard about the legendary rivalry between 'Sweet Eats' and 'Savory Bites' and decided to feature them both on their blog.
"Hey, Sana! Hey, Y/N! I'm Mina, and I run 'Foodie Frenzy.' I'd love to do a feature on both of your trucks. How about a joint interview?" Mina suggested, a camera in hand.
Sana and Y/N exchanged a look, the idea of working together both exciting and nerve-wracking.
"Sure, Mina. We'd love to," Sana said, her competitive spirit shining through.
"Let's do it," Y/N agreed, a hint of a smile playing on his lips.
The joint interview turned out to be a huge success. Mina's questions were insightful, and their followers loved the dynamic between Sana and Y/N. The interview ended with a challenge: Mina asked them to create a fusion dish together, combining their strengths.
"Why not?" Sana said, her eyes sparkling with excitement. "It could be fun."
Y/N nodded. "Let's show them what we can do."
They spent the next few weeks working together, experimenting with different flavors and techniques. They argued and laughed, challenged each other and supported each other, and in the process, grew closer than ever.
But the closer they got, the more complicated their feelings became. Sana found herself getting jealous when Y/N talked to other women, and Y/N couldn't help but feel a pang of irritation when Sana seemed overly friendly with male customers. Their confusion and mixed signals reached a peak one evening after a particularly heated argument over a recipe.
"Why do you always have to be so stubborn?" Sana exclaimed, throwing her hands up in frustration.
"Me? You're the one who insists on doing everything your way!" Y/N shot back, his eyes blazing.
They stood there, breathing heavily, the tension between them almost tangible. Suddenly, Y/N stepped closer, his voice softer. "Sana, why do we keep fighting like this? There's something here, something more than just competition."
Sana's eyes widened, her heart pounding. She opened her mouth to respond but hesitated, the words stuck in her throat. "I... I don't know, Y/N. Maybe we're just too different."
Y/N looked at her, his expression pained. "Maybe. Or maybe we're just scared to admit how we really feel."
The following days were filled with awkward silences and longing glances. Both Sana and Y/N found themselves replaying their argument, questioning their feelings and what it meant for their future.
One night, Sana couldn't sleep. She decided to take a walk and found herself outside Y/N's food truck. To her surprise, the lights were on. She hesitated for a moment before knocking on the door.
Y/N opened the door, looking surprised but pleased to see her. "Sana, what are you doing here?"
"I couldn't stop thinking about what you said," Sana confessed, her voice trembling. "You're right. There's something here, something I've been too scared to admit."
Y/N stepped aside, letting her in. "I've been thinking about it too. Sana, I... I think I'm falling for you."
Sana looked up at him, tears brimming in her eyes. "I think I am too, Y/N. But what if it doesn't work out? What if we ruin everything?"
Y/N took her hands in his, his gaze steady. "We'll never know unless we try. I don't want to spend another day wondering what could have been."
With that, they leaned in, their lips meeting in a gentle, tender kiss that sealed their newfound connection.
As their relationship blossomed, Sana and Y/N began to dream of a future together. One night, as they sat in a cozy café, Y/N brought up an idea.
"Sana, what if we combined our talents and opened a place together? A bakery and snack shop where we can create amazing fusion dishes and share our passion with the world."
Sana's eyes lit up with excitement. "Y/N, that sounds incredible! 'Sweet & Savory Bites'... a place where we can be partners in every sense."
The next few months were a whirlwind of activity as Sana and Y/N poured their hearts and souls into establishing 'Sweet & Savory Bites.' They found the perfect location in a bustling neighborhood, renovated the space to reflect their combined styles, and crafted a menu that showcased their unique blend of flavors.
They worked tirelessly, supporting each other through the challenges and celebrating each milestone together. Their friends and family rallied around them, offering help and encouragement every step of the way.
————————————————————
A year later, Sana and Y/N stood outside their brand new establishment: 'Sweet & Savory Bites,' a combination bakery and snack shop that had quickly become the go-to spot in the neighborhood. Their dreams had merged into one, and the community had embraced their unique blend of flavors and their inspiring story.
As they cut the ribbon, surrounded by friends, family, and loyal customers, Sana and Y/N exchanged a look that spoke volumes. Their journey had been filled with competition, collaboration, and connection, and it was only just beginning.
"Here's to sweet and savory," Y/N said, raising a glass.
"To sweet and savory," Sana echoed, clinking her glass against his.
And with that, they stepped into their future, together.

HELLO! again me! Hehe... can u pls do "if you are playing soccer like Blue Lock(anime) what they would do or their reactions???" I wanted this so badly and if u look you willl remember me! Eheh
Oh my, I admit that I read some of the manga. I'm not that much a fan of football (don't know half the things that are happening during matches - but I did watched them sometimes), so I made the reader's character based on different players.
Kyotaro Sugishita, Hayato Suo, Haruka Sakura x Football Player! (Blue Lock!) reader
Tumblr media
Kyotaro Sugishita
Despite his sulky mood and standoffish personality, this man was at your every game. Although he didn't look like it he was your cheerleader, your greatest admirer during the matches and practices. Your brain was a mystery to him. Your skills at predicting the opposing team's moves and then leading your own to victory could make him stare at you as if hypnotized, not minding anything else that happened around him.
As Kyotaro watched the football match unfold, he couldn’t help but be captivated by you. All your strategies were amazing and so successful in providing more points for your team. Your mind really did work faster than the players on the field. And he loved seeing the satisfaction on your face each time you stole the ball from the opposing player.
Kyotaro's eyes always widened as he admired not just your tactical mind but also how effortlessly you got past everyone and scored. Like you often told him whenever you talked about it. “It’s all mostly anticipating their moves. You can’t just rely on skill only.” Your voice echoed in his head as his eyes followed you on the field.
While he was all about strength and physicality, you were intelligent and unstoppable. You were the brains to his brawn, complementing each other in an exciting way.
Hayato Suou
You were a little like Hayato, meaning you had this hidden strength that someone could see only whenever you showed it off. When you were on the field shooting goal after goal, your powerful kicks were a force to be reckoned with. Not to mention the accuracy you trained for years to achieve, it always made people shocked, sometimes even yourself.
The two of you were hanging out at the park, you trained your skills while he enjoyed a moment of relaxation and meditation. You had been training hard, and he had seen you nail all the shots countless times.
You were focused, eyes locked on the goal, as you lined up for a powerful shot. With a swift kick, the soccer ball soared through the air, whistling past him with impressive speed. Suo didn’t even flinch as it zipped just centimeters from his face. Instead, he stood there, looking at you as he meditated on the grass. “You alright? I almost took your head off there!” You asked worriedly, running over.
A hint of relief crossed your face as you became aware of the smirk appearing on his lips when you stopped in front of him all anxious. “You wouldn’t miss. I trust you to hit your mark.” He shrugged matter-of-factly and your face bloomed in happiness that he believed in your skills so much. "It seems like more than you yourself." He added teasingly flicking you on your forehead.
Haruka Sakura
Haruka was known to thrive on competition, so when he met you, a fiercely egotistical football player, he unknowingly stuck to you. Your practices, although based on different sports, quickly turned into a series of friendly rivalries, each trying to outdo the other.
As you trained, your relentless drive pushed him to give his all. He admired your determination. Every time you drilled a perfect shot or executed a flawless play, being successful in your sport, he felt the urge to raise the bar during sparring sessions with others and prove to himself that his abilities were on par with yours. Simply saying, he wanted to prove that he was someone you could truly admire and rely on, just like you did him.
Yet, there were moments when your confidence wavered, when a bad practice left you frustrated and doubting yourself. One afternoon, after a particularly tough training, you kicked a ball in frustration. “I’ll never get it right!” You groaned out feeling helpless.
He looked at you shocked and slightly weirded out because come on had you seen yourself on the field? You were doing such things easily and so effortlessly. The time spent together let him know that sometimes you just need a little pick me up.
“Hey, don’t be so hard on yourself. You’ve got the talent. I mean, who else can pull off those insane tricks?” Hakura stepped closer, his tone earnest and a little annoyed trying and failing to show that he didn't care that much. He did.
He smirked, feeling a surge of pride as you resumed your practice. With every competition and every word of encouragement, your rivalry changed into respect and admiration for each other.

better than me? | tartaglia & dottore x reader (separate!)
prompt : harbinger!reader whose skills can outshine tartaglia & dottore.
summary : you had been recruited into the fatui as the tenth harbinger. these two harbinger doubted your skills, and decided to see your capabilities for yourself. their skepticism soon turned into eagerness and competition, trying their best to outdo you.
a/n : IM FINALLY OUT OF EXAMS GUYS!!! gonna post more soon to catch up w all my requests omg
likes, reblogs n comments are appreciated! <3
Tumblr media
Tartaglia —
Before joining the Fatui, you were a passionate adventurer and a very skilled fighter. You were rather well-known in several nations, such as Liyue and Sumeru. Pierro had recruited you to join the harbingers one day as you were faced by the Fatui during one of your travels, due to your skills and determination.
After you became instated as the 10th Fatui Harbinger, Tartaglia immediately doubted you and your abilities. To him, you looked nothing more than a weak, feeble and fragile flower; a simple adventurer with no notable and remarkable abilities. He couldn't have been more wrong.
One day, Tartaglia wanted to practice and hone his skills at the Fatui training grounds after he had completed a mission. That was when he saw you in action for the first time.
You were sparring with a couple of elite Fatui members that were under Capitano and you. He could immediately notice how exceptionally well you held yourself during battle; how skilled your technique was when handling a blade; how easily you took down your opponents. As a result, Tartaglia was impressed and held a teeny bit of respect towards you now.
With his curiosity piqued, he decided to approach you after you finished with your spars. Initially, you were surprised that the Eleventh Harbinger had approached you first. He offered to spar with you, and you accepted.
The two of you fought a tough and arduous battle, which resulted with him losing from being too antsy. He found his defeat unbelievable: How could this mere adventurer win against him? From that day onwards, he was determined to do better, to beat you.
Due to his natural competitiveness, he was eager and set on improving himself and to outdo you in every single thing; from missions to kills to impressing the Tsaritsa, he did his best to surpass and outshine you. However, you were quick to catch onto his behavior, and that led you to play along with his competitive banter and games.
Due to this, the two of you spent a lot of time together. Despite your ambitious rivalry with him, the two of you eventually grew closer and it nurtured a friendly relationship outside of your competitive banters. Tartaglia would often make an effort to keep you close, such as accompanying you during your missions and tasks.
When the two of you aren't trying to outshine each other, you would spend time at headquarters having a casual chat, perhaps during a spar, training or a casual walk. Tartaglia would often pry into your personal life and ask about the days when you used to be a wandering adventurer. You would tell him about your feats and accomplishments, and he couldn't help but feel impressed with your skills and stories.
As time passed, he couldn't deny the growing respect and admiration he felt towards you. He wasn't sure if these feelings would grow and sprout into fully-blossomed romantic feelings, but all he knew was that he wanted to continue fighting by your side, and beating you at it.
———
Dottore —
Dottore knew you were special the first time he saw you during your installation ceremony as the 10th Fatui Harbinger. You were a special case: the Tsaritsa herself had recruited you into the Fatui due to your exceptional skills, knowledge and intelligence.
At first, Dottore was curious about you; he wanted to know about your skills, your past, and what knowledge you had obtained throughout your life.
You had been assigned to work closely with Dottore to aid him in his experiments and research, as the two of you were well-versed in the field of science.
Naturally, he was initially opposed to such an arrangement, why wouldn't he? He didn't want anyone else to work with him in his sacred haven which he called his lab, especially not a new harbinger, but he couldn't deny that he was curious to see your abilities first hand. After all, the Tsaritsa herself had recognised your skills and abilities. Surely there must be something special about you if you had managed to have caught the eye of the Cryo Archon herself.
The moment you stepped foot into his lab, it was as if you had transformed into a completely different person. You were authoritative and critical, criticizing and condemning the Doctor's machines and creations. Of course, he was furious with your insolence and arrogance. How dare you insult his masterpieces in his own laboratory?
That was when he decided to challenge you to improve one of his creations. He wanted to see your capabilities and skills for himself, with his very own eyes. He showed you a device he had created a few months ago, and told you to try and make amendments and alterations to the device.
You immediately got to work, unscrewing and tinkering with the device to make minor changes to its design and inner components. The device had been a project that Dottore had been working on before he abandoned due to the lack of progress and ideas for the project. He watched eagerly as you worked your way through the device, making mental notes to himself how you handled the device with precision and care.
Once you were done, you handed the device for Dottore to analyse. He inspected the device in his hands, and you definitely didn't disappoint. He was quite impressed with what you had done and the innovative idea you had in such a short time frame, although he would never admit it out loud.
Dottore soon found himself trying his best in his lab to impress and outdo you during your experiments and researches, fishing desperately for your approval and your compliments on his genius. However, you never once made any comments or felt impressed by his works, rather you were critical and judgmental.
This led to competitiveness in the lab between the two of you: the both of you tried to outdo each other with each experiment. The process of two geniuses trying to outdo each other often resulted in a chaotic aftermath, and sometimes explosions in the lab. Dottore didn't mind it at all however, as long as he could spend time with you in the lab, he was happy.

Welcome to the Stone Age - Senku Ishigami x f!Reader
I’m trying something new. My boyfriend recently got me into Dr. Stone and while I’m not a HUGE fan, this premise just seemed so sweet! I HAD to write it.
Masterlist
Tumblr media
The world was dark and silent, a deep, timeless void. She floated in it, suspended, unaware of the passing moments, months, or perhaps even years. There was no concept of time here, only an endless sleep.
But then, as if pulled from the depths of an abyss, a flicker of consciousness stirred within her. She felt a strange warmth, a sensation she hadn’t known for so long. Her body began to tingle, an unfamiliar but comforting sensation spreading through her limbs.
Slowly, her eyelids fluttered open. Blinding light flooded her vision, and she squinted against it, her heart pounding in confusion and fear. The world around her was hazy and indistinct, shapes and colors blending into a chaotic swirl.
She sat up abruptly, gasping for breath, her chest heaving as if she had been underwater for too long. The disorientation was overwhelming. Where was she? How long had she been asleep? Panic clawed at her throat as she struggled to make sense of her surroundings.
And then, through the fog of her bewilderment, she saw it—a familiar grin, wide and mischievous, hovering above her.
“Nice to see you again, Y/N,” a voice said, its tone light and teasing.
Her eyes widened in shock, the voice pulling her back from the brink of hysteria. She knew that voice, that grin. It was impossible, but there he was, as real as the ground beneath her.
“Senku?” she whispered, her voice trembling with disbelief.
His grin widened, and he gave a small nod. “In the flesh.”
Tears welled up in her eyes, blurring her vision once more. She blinked them away, unable to believe what she was seeing. The last thing she remembered was a world turned to stone, an unending nightmare. And now, here he was, standing before her, unchanged, as if no time had passed at all.
“How...?” she began, but the words caught in her throat.
Senku stepped closer, his expression softening. “It’s a long story,” he said gently, “but we’ve got all the time in the world now.”
He reached out a hand, and she took it, feeling the solid, reassuring warmth of his touch. For the first time since waking, she felt a sense of calm wash over her. She wasn’t alone anymore.
Her mind drifted back, memories flooding in as she recalled their past. They had met in a high school science competition, she remembered, the smell of chemicals and the hum of electricity vivid in her mind.
The auditorium was packed with eager students and stern-faced judges, all gathered to witness the brightest young minds showcase their scientific prowess. Y/N stood by her project, heart pounding with anticipation. She had worked tirelessly, hoping this time she would finally beat him.
But then, there he was. Senku, with his wild hair and confident smirk, presenting his project with an ease that belied the complexity of his work. The judges were captivated, and she could feel her chances slipping away.
When the results were announced, she wasn’t surprised. Senku had taken first place again, and she, as always, was second. The scholarship she so desperately needed to stay at her school slipped through her fingers.
Defeated, she ended up transferring to Senku’s school, her dreams of a full-ride scholarship shattered. But over the years, as they faced off in competition after competition, a strange camaraderie developed between them. Outside of the fierce rivalry, they found common ground, spending countless hours discussing theories and experiments.
They were frenemies in the truest sense. During competition season, they were fierce adversaries, each determined to outdo the other. But outside of that, they were almost inseparable, bound by a mutual respect and understanding that few others could grasp.
As she looked at Senku now, she couldn’t help but smile through her tears. Despite everything, he was still here, and so was she. They had faced the end of the world and come out the other side.
“Tell me everything,” she said, her voice steadier now, filled with the same determination that had driven her all those years.
Senku’s grin softened into a genuine smile. “I will. But first, welcome back, Y/N.”
He helped her to her feet, and she looked around, taking in her surroundings. They were in a village, rustic but bustling with activity. People were working together, some tending to crops, others crafting tools. It was a scene from another era, yet there was an undercurrent of something more—something scientific.
As Senku guided her through the village, curious eyes followed them. Whispers spread quickly, and soon a small crowd had gathered.
“This is Y/N,” Senku announced to the villagers. “She’s a brilliant scientist and was my equal back in our time. She’ll be helping us with the science of everything.”
A murmur of excitement rippled through the crowd. Y/N felt a mix of emotions—pride, determination, and a renewed sense of purpose. She met the villagers' gazes, seeing curiosity and hope reflected in their eyes.
A young girl with bright eyes stepped forward. “Is it true you’re as smart as Senku?” she asked, wide-eyed.
Y/N smiled, feeling a warmth spread through her. “I’d like to think so,” she replied, glancing at Senku with a playful challenge in her eyes. “We’ve always pushed each other to be better.”
Senku chuckled. “That’s right. And now, with Y/N here, we can achieve even more.”
One by one, the villagers introduced themselves. There was Kohaku, the fierce warrior with a heart of gold; Chrome, the self-taught sorcerer-scientist who looked at her with awe and curiosity; and Gen, the mentalist with a sharp mind and a knack for persuasion.
Each introduction filled Y/N with a sense of belonging she hadn’t realized she missed. These people had built something incredible out of nothing, and she was eager to be a part of it.
After the introductions, Senku led her to a small hut filled with makeshift lab equipment. “This is our science lab,” he said, pride evident in his voice. “We’ve made a lot of progress, but there’s so much more to do.”
Y/N’s eyes sparkled with excitement as she took in the sight. It was a far cry from the state-of-the-art labs they had once known, but it held promise and potential. She could already see the possibilities, the advancements they could make together.
“Where do we start?” she asked, rolling up her sleeves.
Senku’s grin widened. “I knew you’d say that. First, let me catch you up on everything we’ve done so far. Then, we can start brainstorming how to take things to the next level.”
As they delved into their work, exchanging ideas and theories, Y/N felt a sense of exhilaration she hadn’t felt in a long time. The world had changed, but her passion for science had only grown stronger. And with Senku by her side, she knew they could achieve anything.
Their journey was far from over. In fact, it was just beginning.
As the sun set, casting a warm glow over the village, Y/N looked around at her new home. She felt a deep sense of gratitude and determination. The future was uncertain, but with these people, with Senku, she was ready to face it.
After the villagers dispersed, Senku led her to the edge of the village, where a small, secluded clearing offered a perfect view of the sunset. They sat side by side, the silence between them comfortable yet charged with unspoken words. The sky shifted through hues of orange and pink, casting a serene atmosphere over the scene.
Y/N's mind wandered back to the time before the petrification event. She remembered the countless nights they spent working late in the lab, the friendly banter and heated debates. Beneath their rivalry, she had felt something more—a growing affection that she had never dared to acknowledge. Senku was brilliant, driven, and endlessly fascinating. She had admired him, respected him, and, in quieter moments, wondered if he saw her the same way.
She glanced at Senku, who was gazing thoughtfully at the horizon. His profile was softened by the fading light, and she felt a pang of longing. The world had changed, but her heart had not. Her thoughts drifted back to specific moments that had cemented her feelings for him.
It was late one night, the lab quiet except for the hum of machinery. They were the only ones left, working on their respective projects. Y/N had been struggling with a particularly stubborn equation when Senku appeared at her side, peering over her shoulder.
"You're making it more complicated than it needs to be," he said, his tone matter-of-fact.
She frowned, frustration bubbling up. "Oh, really? Then why don't you enlighten me, Mr. Genius?"
He smirked, taking the pen from her hand and quickly scribbling out a simplified version of the equation. She watched in awe as the solution unfolded effortlessly under his skilled hand.
"See?" he said, handing the pen back to her. "Sometimes the simplest answer is the right one."
She had been too proud to admit it then, but she had been grateful. It was moments like these—where his brilliance shone through effortlessly—that her admiration for him deepened into something more.
Another memory surfaced, this one filled with a softer, more intimate light. They were at a school science fair, the air buzzing with excitement and competition. Y/N had just finished presenting her project when Senku approached her, holding two cups of coffee.
"Truce?" he said, offering her one.
She accepted with a wary smile. "For now."
They had found a quiet corner and talked for hours, sharing their dreams and ambitions. It was the first time she saw past his competitive exterior to the passionate, dedicated person underneath. She realized then how much they had in common, how their dreams were interwoven with the same threads of curiosity and discovery.
As she looked at Senku now, illuminated by the fading light, those old feelings stirred within her. She had missed him more than she realized. The world had changed, but her heart had not.
“Senku,” she began softly, breaking the silence, “before everything happened, there was something I never got to tell you.”
He turned to her, curiosity in his eyes. “What’s that?”
She took a deep breath, gathering her courage. “Do you remember all those nights in the lab? The science fairs? The competitions?”
He nodded, a hint of a smile playing at his lips. “Of course. Those were some of the best times.”
“I always admired you,” she continued, her voice steady but filled with emotion. “More than that, actually. I—” She hesitated, the words catching in her throat. “I think I had feelings for you. I don’t know if it was obvious, but I wanted you to know.”
For a moment, Senku was silent, his expression unreadable. She felt her heart pounding in her chest, uncertainty gnawing at her. Then, he gave a small, almost shy smile.
“You always kept me on my toes, Y/N. You were the one person who could challenge me, push me to be better. I respected you for that, admired you.”
Her heart swelled with hope, and she leaned a bit closer. “And now?”
He looked at her, his gaze intense and sincere. “Now, I still feel the same. Maybe even more so, knowing everything we’ve been through. We’re a team, Y/N. We always have been, even when we were rivals.”
She smiled, tears of relief and joy welling up in her eyes. “I’m glad to hear that, Senku. I’ve missed you.”
He reached out and took her hand, his touch warm and reassuring. “I’ve missed you too. And now, we’re going to build a new world together.”
As they sat there, hand in hand, watching the sun dip below the horizon, Y/N felt a profound sense of peace. The world was different, but some things hadn’t changed. Her feelings for Senku were as strong as ever, and now, there was nothing holding them back.
They had a long road ahead of them, full of challenges and discoveries. But for the first time, they would face it together, not as rivals, but as partners in every sense of the word.
The night deepened, and the stars began to appear, twinkling above them like countless possibilities. Y/N leaned her head on Senku’s shoulder, feeling his steady heartbeat beneath her cheek.
They sat in comfortable silence, the future stretching out before them. Whatever came next, they would face it side by side, with the strength of their minds and the bond of their hearts.
And for Y/N, that was more than enough.

Tumblr media
Regina George. The two of you were in a stare down from across the cafeteria. You sat with your group of friends, she sat with hers. Regina and you have had a long standing rivalry that dates back to sixth grade. When Regina stopped being human. Your friend group and hers used to be one big group that hung out together all the time. Then the Janis incident happened and you and your friends sided with Janis.
You, Prudence Ollia, Savie Lane and Nyla Caves were deemed 'weirdos' for doing so. While Regina, Gretchen and Karen grew in popularity. Janis was left on the side lines. You and her haven't hung out at all in the more recent years. Since highschool you've just lost touch with each other.
Which brings us back to present day.
"So. What's our next sabotage plan for Lilith over there?" Prudence asked. Lilith was the code name which your group had made for Regina when you talked about her in public and didn't want others to know.
You didn't take your eyes off Regina. It was like the two of you were in some game of chicken. First one to look away loses," huh?" You asked, not really paying attention.
"Next sabotage plan." Prudence simplified.
"Oh!" Savie grinned as she slammed her hands on the side of the table, looking at the three of you with mischief in her eyes," we replace her shampoo with hairdye. Give her green hair."
"Classic." Nyla nodded with a laugh," but none of us would even be able to step foot in Regina's house."
"Actually, I'm pretty certain her mom still thinks Lilith and I are absolute besties. Maybe I could give it a try, make an excuse like she left something in her room for me to pick up or whatever. Lilith's mom probably wouldn't even think to ask for details." You stated, eyes still on the blonde. You swear she hasn't even blinked once this whole stare down.
"I'll buy the hair dye," Savie did an excited clap. She was usually the most hyped up when it came to the sabotage plans.
That night, you did exactly what you had said you would. Luckily Ms George did think the two of you were still friends and Regina happened to be out at a party. So you were able to pull things off pretty smoothly.
The following day, Regina George showed up to school with bright lime green hair. But instead of laughing, people were in awe. And lime green hair was a trend over the next couple weeks.
Regina remained unaffected, which annoyed you to no end. How does everything you do just boost her popularity? It was infuriating. Though you couldn't help but respect her just a little. Only a little.
She walked by your locker as you were grabbing your trumpet out for music class," What? Too cool for green hair, L/N?" She smirked at you when she noticed you hadn't dyed yours to follow the trend. That technically you started.
"Shouldn't you be off trying to steal Christmas, Grinch?" You replied, trumpet case by your side.
Her eyes widened just slightly in annoyance and she snatched your case from you, flicking it open and taking the mouth piece. She handed your trumpet back," good luck in music, loser." Regina winked at you as she walked away. Mouth piece in her fist.
You sighed deeply. Honestly surprised she even recognized that piece was important. You didn't think Regina knew anything about music. Though the only grievance her act actually caused you was a lecture from the music teacher about not "losing" pieces to your instrument.
So it didn't bother you all that much. Which annoyed Regina, but she had a small respect for it. But it was only small.
Things like this would continue to happen between the two of you throughout the rest of the year. Each of you gaining a little bit more respect for the other.
One day, a few weeks before the Christmas talent show, Regina passed by your locker and gave you her signature smirk.
"Hey, L/N. Signing up for the talent show?" She asked, clearly she wasn't really interested. However, unless you were seeing incorrectly, her eyes scanned your body. It was quick and easy to miss if you didn't happen to be looking in her eyes when it happened- what? Pfft, no you weren't staring into Regina's eyes. You hated her.
"Yeah, actually. You still doing that tradition of yours?" You replied, arms folded across your chest as you leaned against your locker.
Regina scoffed, folding her own arms," obviously. Bet it's better than whatever you're doing."
"Playing the trumpet without a mouth piece. You know, when you stole it it gave me the idea to actually give it a try. Kinda fun," You grinned at her. Yes you did it specifically so you could rub it in her face that you were unbothered.
You saw her eye twitch ," whatever, loser."
Christmas was nearing, the talent show was here. You were on before the plastics and Mr Duvall called your name to the stage.
You walked on and took a seat, trumpet held in front of you. You took a breath and got ready to play. Only no sound came out when you tried.
"What?" You muttered to yourself and turned your trumpet around, looking down into it. Apparently someone had stuffed it with pink slime. Not the runny kind, but the kind that looks more like rubber. You rolled your eyes. You didn't need the pink to tell you who had done this," Just a moment."
You got up and took the slime out as you headed back stage, looking for Regina. When you found her; her and her crew were laughing. Presumably at you. They hadn't noticed you approach, so you took your chance.
You threw the slime directly at Regina, it slapped her in the face and landed in her hair. Getting stuck. She screamed and her eyes snapped to your direction.
"Oh you're so dead!" She immediately walked towards you, you stood your ground even after getting a solid bitch slap from the blonde.
The two of you were now in a full on brawl, you knocked Regina to the ground but she pinned you there. The both of you wrestled each other.
Gretchen and Karen shared a look while Cady encouraged it. Being the fake she is.
It didn't take long for Ms Norbury to find you and Regina and separate the both of you.
"She attacked me!" Regina yelled.
"You punched first!" You yelled back.
Ms Norbury sighed deeply," I don't care who started it, ladies. You are both just as involved as the other." Her eyes landed on the slime in Regina's hair," Regina, go get cleaned up. Y/N Mr Duvall's office. Regina you'll meet her there. You have ten minutes before I come get you to make sure you go."
"Ugh. This is so fucking stupid," Regina muttered.
"You're fucking stupid," You muttered right back as you both walked out. Narrowing your eyes at each other.
Soon enough, the both of you are in Mr Duvall's office. Just waiting for the talent show to be over as Ms Norbury waited with you. Keeping an eye on you both in case another fight started.
When Mr Duvall finally joined you, he looked... more disappointed than anything. Or maybe he was just tired.
"How many times must we do this?" He asked. This was not the first time you and Regina had been in his office together.
You and Regina gave each other a side eye.
"It put slime in my trumpet," You pointed to Regina.
"'It'?!" She looked ready to fight you again.
"Girls! Please." Duvall sighed and leaned forward, arms rested on his desk." Both of you are in the wrong. Both of you are being punished. You'll have detention with each other for the rest of this week and next. And you'll be given tasks from the janitor. Maybe if you work together on it... you'll at least tolerate each other more and I won't get so many headaches."
You did not tolerate each other more.
At least, not at first. The first few clean up tasks were absolutely hell.
That was until the janitor trusted you and Regina with floor cleaning machine. (i wish it had a better name but i could not find anything. they're those zamboni things. i'm just gonna call it a zamboni 😭)
You don't know how you earned his trust to use this but you did. School was out for the day and you and Regina had to stay behind, the janitor left already. Leaving the two of you to work alone with this.
You glanced at Regina and grinned. "Bumper cars?"
Regina raised an eyebrow," you're so stupid."
"Come on! You know you want to~!"
"Absolutely not." She folded your arms and started walking away.
You got an even better idea." Slip and slide?"
That got her to pause and consider it. She looked back at you," if it will get you to shut up."
"Definitely." It wouldn't.
You and Regina worked together to get the floor of a hall cleaned up with the cleaning zambonis. Once it was done, you took a running start from around the corner then sprinted down the hall. Sliding the whole way down and trying to stay on your feet. You did not. You landed on your ass about half way down.
Regina laughed as she watched you and thought 'screw it' as she did the same thing. She made it about the same length as you, then fell on her front with a thud.
The two of you laid on the floor and laughing, looking at each other with smiles on your faces. Maybe Regina George wasn't so bad. What you didn't know is that Regina was starting to think the same about you.
"Hey. Wanna ditch this and go get bobas?" You asked, you doubted she would even agree.
Regina seemed to hesitate for a moment before she got off the floor," yeah, sure. But you're paying."
"Aw, whattt? You're like a billionaire." You stood and followed her out of the school.
"So?"
You rolled your eyes but smiled. The halls didn't get cleaned that night, but it seems Mr Duvall's strategy worked a little better than he thought it would.
The two of you rekindled your friendship, you still annoyed each other to no end but on a less... chaotic scale. It was more controlled and less sabotages.
And later it even became more as you and Regina had a very intense drunk make out session.

Headcanon: Alhaitham x Teasing but Competitive S/O
Tumblr media
Alhaitham’s calm and composed nature makes him the perfect target for his S/O’s playful teasing. They love to provoke him, whether it’s through subtle jabs about his stoic demeanor or challenging his intellect with witty banter. While Alhaitham usually dismisses such antics with a sigh or an eye-roll, deep down, he secretly enjoys the playful energy his S/O brings into his life. It’s a refreshing contrast to the academic world he’s so immersed in.
Their teasing often turns into friendly competitions. Whether it’s a debate over the meaning of ancient texts, a sparring match, or something as trivial as a board game, Alhaitham’s S/O constantly challenges him, pushing his patience and competitive side. Although he pretends to be indifferent, his pride won’t let him back down from a challenge. His S/O loves to see the rare spark of determination in his usually composed expression.
Alhaitham is a strategist by nature, so he always approaches their competitions with a methodical mindset, trying to outsmart his S/O. His S/O, on the other hand, is more spontaneous, relying on quick wit and instinct. This contrast often makes their battles unpredictable and exciting for both of them, with each pushing the other to be better.
Despite his calm exterior, Alhaitham has a low-key competitive streak, which only comes out in full force when his S/O gets particularly smug about a victory. He doesn’t openly admit defeat, but he’ll work silently to improve and win the next time around. His S/O loves this about him, often teasing, “Oh? Didn’t think you’d care about losing that much.”
Their dynamic is a perfect balance between intellectual stimulation and playful banter. Alhaitham respects his S/O’s intelligence and enjoys the mental sparring, even if he doesn’t always show it. His S/O, in turn, loves to push his buttons just enough to get a reaction, finding amusement in his subtle responses, whether it's a raised eyebrow or a rare smirk.
Despite their teasing and competitive nature, they have a mutual respect for one another. Alhaitham values his S/O’s drive and independence, while they admire his quiet confidence and vast knowledge. Their relationship thrives on this push and pull—each trying to outdo the other, but ultimately growing together as they challenge each other’s limits.
Alhaitham’s S/O loves to poke fun at his more solitary habits, teasing him about how he’d rather be reading than spending time with them. Alhaitham, in return, might quip something like, “At least books don’t try to distract me from my work with ridiculous dares.” But, when he gives in to their playful demands, it’s always with a small, begrudging smile.
In moments of downtime, Alhaitham and his S/O enjoy a quiet companionship that speaks to their deeper connection. The teasing may take a backseat in these moments, replaced by a comfortable silence as they work or read together. But the competitive spark is never far, and all it takes is a smirk or a sly comment to reignite their playful rivalry.

CAI BOTS - S.T.A.R.S Team Collection - ⭐️
I got bored and made a bunch of bots based off of the Stars team :) This blog may be a bit long so be warned before you open it if that annoys you!
Includes: Wesker, Chris, Jill, Leon, Rebecca (All gender neutral)
Tumblr media
Albert Wesker - He's only soft with you (Link)
Wesker is a strict boss, not because he's 100% a cold man. He truly cares for his team, even if that means having to reprimand them for mistakes.
You were new to the team, but it didn't mean Wesker would be any less hard on you right? At least you thought so, every time you had been scolded or put to work by Wesker you would complain to your team about it. But they would tell you that you were lucky, he went easy on you. You didn't believe this because it didn't feel like Wesker was going easy on you.
Today you had woken up late, you were asked to stay last at the station last night filing all the reports that had come in, there had been a huge accident in the nearby area, so the team was busy. You practically had run into the station and into the S.T.A.R.S room, sitting down at your desk. Jill, one of your teammates gives you a knowing look, since both of you know Wesker would come out of his office anytime soon to talk to you.
Wesker walks out of his office, his eyes glued on you with an unreadable expression. The sunglasses made it harder to read his face. "[name]. You're late." He said simply.
You apologize to him, using the late night at the office as an excuse as to why you came in late. He stares down at you, as if thinking about your excuse and deeming it valid or not. "Very well, don't let it happen again." He said, walking back to his office.
Jill scoffs to herself, shaking her head slightly. "Not fair… I came in late last week and he gave me a write-up."
Tumblr media
Chris Redfield - Crushing on the new team member (Link)
When you were introduced to the team Chris was excited, they hadn't had anyone new in about a year. Your first day comes by and you're attractive to say the least, no big deal to Chris. That's until the days go by, weeks, then a few months and the feelings don't go away. In fact they get worse, bigger and he's suddenly imagining how your lips would feel against his.
But he shakes those feeling off, he had never felt this way about anyone before. He had no idea what to do about them! He told his trusted friend, Jill, about them but all she did was laugh at him. Well, she did give some advice, but it was all go flirt them or ask them out and all of that sounded a little too crazy to him.
He'd rather keep staring at you subconsciously, or try and start conversation with you but instead it gets all awkward because Chris is stumbling over his words.
Today, Chris was on coffee duty, he had the list of coffee's in his hand. He delivers yours last so he could talk to you and hopefully say more than a couple sentences. "So… you a big coffee fan?" He said, awkwardly hovering by your desk.
Tumblr media
Jill Valentine - Giving you a hard time (Link)
Today the team was gonna go into the shooting range to get some practice, of course Jill was already talking about how she was gonna do so much better than you.
You guy's had developed this playful rivalry where anytime you guys train, you try to outdo each other. Most of the time Jill comes out victorious because of her competitiveness. Not only is there competition between you guys, there's this unspoken tension, neither of you are bold enough to make the first move on each other but there's obvious attraction. You both know it, maybe it's another mini competition. Who breaks first and asks the other out? Well it was not gonna be you, she already beats you at most things, you had to win with this.
Training went by quickly, Jill again wins by beating you with 4 clean shots to the middle target. "Not much of a sharp-shooter are we…" Jill taunts playfully as you guys walk back to the station.
Tumblr media
Leon Kennedy - Admiring the S.T.A.R.S team (Link)
Leon was very excited when he got accepted into the RPD, his dream was to be a police officer even if he had to move away from home to fulfil that dream.
The first month of him being there was going pretty good, everyone was nice and Leon figured he was doing a good job. What he wasn't aware about before joining was the S.T.A.R.S team working in the same station. It was full of ex-military personnel. This location was one of the 2 they worked in! And Leon felt lucky to be able to see them, he admired them. He found them insanely strong and hardworking. So much so he may have developed a little crush on of the team members.
[name], he saw you there a few times, getting coffee, walking the hallways, or coming into work. He thought you were attractive, and he also may have looked at your file. Your experience was no joke, and Leon couldn't tell if he wished to be with you or be you.
Today was a late night, some cops gave Leon their unfinished work to finish. And of course Leon wanting to please, said yes. This didn't go unnoticed by you, since you often worked late nights and found it weird to see the same blonde cop during the night. You knew it was the rookie since you'd never seen him before. And you already found the cops who worked here lazy and annoying. You took the opportunity to talk to him when he was in the break room making a coffee. "Hey, your name is Leon right?" You asked, although you already knew it was.
"Yeah! Tha- That's my name." He said, looking shocked, he didn't even hear you come in and his brain was fried from exhaustion. He didn't really expect you to talk to him, let alone right now.
Tumblr media
Rebecca Chambers - Your friend helps you out (Link)
While you are a skilled solider, that doesn't mean that you aren't a bit clumsy. It's a well known fact by the entire team, during training or missions somehow you will manage to get hurt. Let it be a small cut or a huge bruise, luckily it hasn't been anything worse but that's only because Rebecca keeps you in check.
Even with her on your side protecting you, you will still manage to get hurt. She will still be there to tend to your wounds though.
Today the team was training, although it was more like playful fighting. Somehow you slip and you get a nasty scratch, blood and all. Of course Rebecca steps in, pulling you aside to properly clean your wound. "You haven't even let the last cut heal, and you already got a new one?" She says shaking her head. "Do I need to wrap you in bubble wrap?"

Take me higher
A/n: I got a request for something between reader, Tyler and javi but I just don’t write threesomes so this is like a “choose your own adventure” type thing if that makes any sense at all. I really don’t know what I'm doing. I just thought this would be an interesting way to work this request while staying in my comfort zone. If you’ve seen the other one just ignore my ramble 😭
Pairing: Javi Rivera x fem! reader x Tyler Owens
Warnings: 🚫 NOT A THREESOME 🚫 and a little bit of awkward fighting
Tumblr media
You and Tyler Owens are the top tornado chasers in the country, each with a reputation that precedes them. You’re known for your methodical, data-driven approach, while Tyler is famous for his daring, instinctual chases. Your rivalry is legendary—every storm season, you find yourselves competing to capture the most intense footage and data, often ending up in the same storm, glaring at each other from across the swirling chaos.
Despite your professional rivalry, there’s an undeniable spark between you. Your banter is sharp and filled with double meanings, your competition fueled as much by mutual respect as it is by the desire to outdo each other. Friends and fellow chasers joke that the tension between the pair of you could power a storm all on its own.
Your team pulls into the motel that Tyler and his team are also staying at. You hop out of the passenger seat stretching as you leave the truck. Tyler, leaning against the side of his truck, notices you stretching from across the parking lot. His eyes roam over your form with more than a hint of appreciation, before he pushes himself off the vehicle and saunters over to you.
"Look who it is," he drawls, his voice laced with a familiar smirk. "You just can't stay away, can you?" Crossing your arms over your chest you give him a playful glare.
“And how am I supposed to stay away when this is the only motel in the area?” You walk past him brushing his arm with your shoulder. Tyler falls into step beside you as you make your way towards the motel entrance. He glances down at the spot where your shoulder brushed against his arm, his gaze a little darker than usual.
"Oh, so you're just here for convenience, huh?" He teases, his smirk never leaving his face. "Here I was thinking you just couldn't resist the opportunity to see me again."
”What would make you think that cowboy?” Your lips curve into a smile as you turn on your heel, looking up at him sweetly. Tyler chuckles, his arms crossing over his chest as he grins down at you. His eyes roam over your face, slowly taking in every feature.
"You know I could list countless reasons, darlin'," he drawls, his voice dripping with a southern twang. "But they'd all just boil down to one simple truth – you can't resist my charm."
”Charm?” You giggle, “I wouldn’t call you charming.” You turn once again, getting the key to your room from the front desk.
”No? Then what would you call me?” Tyler's smirk only grows wider as you turn away, his gaze locked on you as you retrieve the keys. He follows you to your room, his broad shoulders filling the hallway, making it feel far more crowded than it truly was.
"Coz let me tell you, sweetheart" he murmurs, stepping so close that his chest is nearly pressed against your back "Charm seems like the right word to me." Unlocking your door you swing it open, standing in the doorway.
”I’m thinking something more along the lines of arrogant,” your voice laced with amusement. “Yes, arrogance is the perfect way to describe you,” your playful smile widens.
Tyler laughs, his hand braced against the door frame as he leans into the door to loom over you. “Arrogant, huh?” He echoes, raising an eyebrow. “I like to think of it as confidence. I know what I’m about.”
He reaches out, his fingers trailing a path down your arm, leaving a trail of heat in their wake. “Besides, darlin’, you've never had a problem with my arrogance before. Seems more like you're trying to rile me up...”
You look up at him, your eyes landing on his lips. “Why would I want that?” You put a hand on his chest. Leaning toward him you stand on your tippy toes, “What would I get out of trying to rile you up, cowboy?” You murmur against his ear.
A shiver runs down Tyler's spine as your breath fans over his skin. His heart rate increases, his broad chest rising and falling rapidly. He swallows hard, trying to maintain his cool facade, but the heat in his eyes gives him away.
"I can think of a few things, sweetheart," he murmurs, his voice thick with barely concealed lust. He grips your hip, pulling you closer, his fingers digging into your flesh.
“Yeah?” You run a finger over his jaw, “So are you gonna keep playing games or will you come inside and do something about it?” Your eyes darkened by desire as you look up at him. Tyler's self-control snaps with your words.
With a low growl, he pushes you back into the room, closing the door behind him with a slam. He pins you against the door, trapping you between the hard wood and his hard body.
He towers over you, his hands planted on either side of your head, caging you in. His gaze rakes over you, his eyes dark with a mix of desire and barely suppressed need.
"You're playing a dangerous game here, darlin'," he warns, his voice rough. "But I never back down from a challenge." Your arms wrap around his arms pulling his face close to yours you hover your lips over his.
”Are you sure about that, Owens?” Tyler's eyes lock onto your lips, his breath hitching at the closeness.
"Absolutely sure," he murmurs, his breath fanning over your skin. "And don't call me 'Owens' in that voice. It drives me crazy, damn it." he murmurs before crashing his lips against yours.
The kiss is fierce and possessive, his tongue demanding entrance as his hands snake around your waist, pulling you impossibly closer. Your arms pull him closer as you let his tongue in your mouth.
He breaks the kiss to gasp for breath, his forehead resting against yours. "You really enjoy pushing me, don't you?" He pants, his chest heaving.
”Of course I do, Owens.” You smirk, he growls lowly, his eyes narrowing at the use of his last name.
"You're walking a thin line, sweetheart." he warns as his hands slide lower down your waist, his fingers gripping your hips almost to the point of pain. "Keep it up and I'll have to put you in your place." His lips brush against your ear, his warm breath sending shivers down your spine.
”Is that so?” You push his chest away from you, moving past him and hopping onto the bed. “I’d like to see you try,” your smirk grows as you slip your shirt off, tossing it to the side of the room.
Tyler's eyes widen at the sight, drinking in every bit of flesh revealed with hungry eyes. His jaw clenches as his fists clench, resisting the primal urge to pounce on you right then and there.
With a low, frustrated groan, he takes a step forward. "You just can't help yourself, can you?" he mutters, his gaze glued to your body.
He stops at the edge of the bed, his eyes roaming over your form, his breathing ragged. "You're playing with fire, sweetheart. I hope you're prepared for the burn." You pull him to you by the loops of his jeans, your hands sliding up his shirt.
Tyler lets you pull him closer, a low groan escaping his lips as your hands make contact with his skin. The touch of your fingers against his bare flesh sends shivers down his spine.
"You're going to be the death of me," he gasps out, his chest rising and falling rapidly as he tries to maintain control.
But the sight of you, half-naked in front of him, threatens to break his restraint. Lifting up the fabric of his worn shirt, you motion for him to pull it off as your lips trail kisses over his abs.
Tyler obeys your order without hesitation, quickly pulling the shirt over his head and tossing it aside. He looks down at you as you kiss his abs, his breathing becoming more ragged with each touch of your lips against his skin.
His hands tangle in your hair, holding your head against his stomach, silently encouraging you to continue. A loud knock interrupts you, “Hey Y/N are you in there?” Javi’s voice rings through the air.
“Yeah, just a moment,” you respond, shoving Tyler toward the closet. “Hide, don’t make a sound.” You warn, your voice a quiet demand. Tyler's eyes widen in surprise, but he obeys your command without question. He slips into the closet and shuts the door softly behind him, just enough for him to peek out.
He watches you through a crack in the closet door as you respond to your friend, a mix of annoyance and amusement playing across his face. You open the door completely forgetting about your missing shirt.
Javi glances towards the closet, only to see... nothing, his eyes widen slightly as he smiles a grin, "Aha! You got a man over don't you." He chuckles, leaning against the doorway.
He gives you a nod, "He's in there right?" Javi continues, his tone turning to a more questioning one. He eyes the door that was in front of the closet before turning his head towards you. His face now is a mix of both confusion and amusement.
”No,” you laugh stiffly blocking him from moving toward the closet door. Javi takes one last glance at the door before turning his attention back to you, giving you a teasing smile.
"Alright, alright, I believe you." His eyes dart back to your exposed chest for a brief moment. You cross your arms over your chest as he takes a step toward you.
Javi notices you become a bit more defensive, a smile plays on his lips, "What's the matter? Aren't we good friends?" He leans in, his tone turning seductive as he eyes you with a small smirk on his lips.
”We are,” you draw out as he steps closer to you.
Javi continues to step closer to you, his smirk becoming more apparent the closer he gets, “Then what’s wrong?” He begins to lean down slightly, almost as if he’s planning to steal a kiss from you.
A flush creeps up your neck as Javi brushes a stray hair out of your eyes.Javi leans in, his smile still prominent as his hands reach around your waist, his lips gently pressing against yours, but only for a split second. His eyes gaze back into yours before he pulls away.
Your eyes widen as he pulls away, your breath hitching as you hear Tyler clear his throat, stepping out of the closet. He steps into the room and makes eye contact with Javi, raising an eyebrow as he eyes you both.
“What the hell are you doing, Javi?” Tyler's voice is filled with rage as he balls his fist.
Javi raises an eyebrow, a grin appearing on his lips, "What? Is my girl not allowed to get kisses from me?" Javi crosses his arms, looking from you to Tyler as if he's daring him to continue.
"Your girl?" Tyler crosses the room, getting right up to Javi as he looks him in the eyes, "Since when did you own my girl?" You step between the two of them.
“Okay boys, let's be civil,” you glance between them sighing as you try to think of what to do next.
"Civil?" Tyler’s face scowls as he looks back at you, "He kisses you and you're asking for civil?" His eyes look at you intently as he puts his fists on his waist.
Javi crosses his arms, glaring at Tyler. "Alright, listen," he holds up a finger, "One, she's not yours, get that in your head," his eyes now only focus on Tyler, his brows furrowed, "Two, you're lucky it was just a kiss and not something a lot more"
Tyler's now right next to you, looking at Javi with a look of pure anger in his eyes, "You have some nerve," he continues to clench his fist as his temper rises, "Thinking you can kiss my girl then threaten me, your lucky I don't beat your ass."
Javi grins, a hint of madness in his eyes. He looks Tyler in the eyes, "What are you gonna do about it?" His eyebrows furrow, "Cause I sure as hell have no problem taking a swing at you."
”Boys, seriously stop it,” you say sternly.
a/n: here’s Tyler’s version idk
“Tyler, why don’t you go?” You shove his shirt into his chest as you sigh, “We can just talk in the morning okay?”
"You'd like that wouldn't you?" He stares you down, almost wanting to start something with you, "Don't worry, I'll go"
”Tyler.. I’m sorry,” he rolls his eyes walking out of the door slamming it shut. You exhale deeply and turn back to Javi, who looks pleased with himself. He leans against the wall, arms crossed, and lets out a chuckle.
"Looks like you've got yourself a little admirer," Javi says, a smirk on his face. You look at him, feeling irritated and flustered.
"What the hell was that all about?" You ask, your voice laced with irritation. The kiss was still on your mind as you cross your arms over your breasts once again. Javi simply shrugs, looking at the door that Tyler had just walked out of.
”Javi, what the fuck?” Your eyebrows furrow as you look at him confused. Javi's smirk widens and he shrugs again, walking over to you slowly.
"What, I can't kiss my best friend?" He says, stopping in front of you. He looks down at you, his tone now teasing. "Don't act like you didn't like it." He reaches over, brushing his hand over your exposed shoulder.
”You’ve never kissed me before..” you shiver as his hand caresses your skin gently. “So why now?” Javi leans down, his breath against your skin as he runs his fingers over your collarbone.
He smirks, and pulls you closer, his other hand finding your hip as he brings you against his chest. "Maybe I just wanted a taste," he whispers, his voice low in your ear.
He gently pushes you up against the wall, his body pressed against yours, trapping you between him and the wall. “Javi..” you mumble his name, “Why are you acting like this all of a sudden?”
He brings his hand up, grabbing your chin and forcing you to look him in the eye.
"Like what?” He asks in a low voice. He moves his face closer to yours, his breath against your skin, "like I'm not tired of watching you look at other guys... like I don't want you all to myself?"
He leans in, his lips just brushing against your neck, sending a shiver down your spine. Your lips part, letting out a strained gasp at the feeling of his soft lips against you.
“Mm, and how long have you been feeling like that?” Your arms wrap around his torso. His lips continue to graze over your skin, gently kissing down your neck to your collarbone.
“Too long,” he murmurs into your skin. His hands move down to your hips, pulling you even closer, pressing your body against his. “I’ve sat by for months watching you give other guys attention, and it’s starting to piss me off.”
He bites down on your neck, leaving a small mark. Your eyes flutter shut as you lean into his touch, your body reacting to his every movement. “It didn’t help that I chose to bring Owens in here, did it?” You murmur, knowing that your charade finally caught his attention.
Javi growls and his grip on your hips tightens at the mention of Owen. He lifts his head, looking at your face intently.
“Yeah, that didn’t help.” He responds, his tone cold. He moves one of his hands to your chin, tilting your face towards him, the other still firmly on your hip. He looks into your eyes, a mixture of anger and lust.
“But it sure did bring out my possessive side.” He says, his eyes darkening. Your hand slides up his shirt, your fingers running over every muscle in his back.
“Good,” you lean forward, kissing his jaw. “That's exactly what I was hoping for,” you whisper into his ear. A shiver runs through Javi at the feeling of your lips on his jaw, his grip on your hips tightening even more.
“You did all that just to get a rise out of me?” He asks, a hint of anger in his voice, but it’s overshadowed by the low growl that escapes his throat. He pushes you further into the wall, his body now fully pressed against yours, his hands moving down to your thighs.
”I had to do something to get you to make a move…” you murmur against his neck as you press kisses into his skin. Javi's breathing becomes ragged as you kiss his neck.
He grips your thighs, lifting you up with ease and pinning you to the wall. He presses his body against you, making sure you can feel every contour of his body pressed against yours.
“You could have just asked,” he growls into your ear, biting at your earlobe. Your hands move up to his shoulders as you wrap your legs around his waist.
“Well, where’s the fun in that.” You say with amusement in your voice. Javi grunts, the feel of your legs around his waist sending shivers down his spine.
“You’re such a tease,” he mutters, his lips traveling down your neck to your collarbone. He nips at your skin, leaving a trail of small bite marks in their wake. He slowly rocks his hips against you, letting you feel how much effect you’re having on him.
Moans fall from your lips as your head falls back in pleasure. “Fuck, you’re so hard.” Javi’s low chuckle sends a wave of desire through you as he rolls his hips against you again.
“You feel that?” He asks, his voice rough. He leans in, his lips next to your ear, “That’s all because of you.” He presses you even harder against the wall, his grip on your hips tightening.
You can feel how much he wants you, the desire written all over his face. His lips find your neck again, but this time he sucks on your skin, leaving a trail of marks down your collarbone.
Your nails dig into his shoulder blades, your hips moving down on his. Javi’s hips continue to grind against yours, his movements becoming more frantic as his breathing turns into harsh pants. You can feel the heat and need building between your legs, your own arousal reaching a crescendo.
Suddenly, Javi's body stiffens and he lets out a low groan, his grip on your hips tightening as he reaches his climax. His release coats your thighs, his body shaking slightly as he gasps for air. For a moment, he holds you there, his forehead resting against your neck, his breathing ragged in your ear.
Then, he pulls back, a smug smile playing on his lips as he looks at you, your eyes still glazed with desire. You, however, are left feeling more frustrated than ever. Despite his climax, your own body cries out for relief, your need for release unfulfilled.
Javi's smug smile turns into one of pure hunger as he throws you to the bed with ease, he takes in the sight of you sprawled out on the bed, your bare skin glistening with a sheen of sweat. Without wasting a moment, he tugs at your jeans, pulling them down along with your panties in one swift motion.
He gently unhooks your bra, freeing your breasts to bounce against the mattress. His eyes darken as he licks his lips, and you feel a rush of excitement at the knowledge of what's to come. He positions himself between your legs, his hands pushing your thighs apart as he lowers his head to your exposed center.
He starts by kissing the insides of your thighs, his teeth grazing your sensitive skin, making you squirm with anticipation. When his tongue finally reaches your clit, you let out a gasp as the pleasure hits you like a bolt of lightning. He circles it with the tip of his tongue, applying just the right amount of pressure to drive you wild.
Your hips buck upward, seeking more of his touch as he delves deeper, lapping at your folds with a fervor that leaves you trembling. His hands hold you in place, his strong grip on your thighs keeping you open for his exploration.
His mouth works its magic, bringing you closer and closer to the edge of orgasm, until you're begging for release. And when it finally crashes over you, he doesn't stop, savoring every spasm, every drop of your pleasure as your body arches off the bed in ecstasy.
Javi’s kisses traveled from your neck to your chest, peppering your collarbone and the swell of your breast’s with feather-light touches that sent electric shocks through your body. His teeth nipped at the sensitive skin of your neck, making you gasp and arch into his touch.
His hands roamed over your bare form, caressing every curve and valley with a possessive urgency that made it clear he wasn’t going to be denied. You could feel his hardness pressing against your thigh, a silent reminder of his own need, but he focused solely on you, his thumbs brushing over your now sensitive clit as he kissed and nibbled his way down your torso.
His mouth found your navel, his tongue dipping into the small indentation before moving lower, tracing the line of your hipbone and the crease of your thigh. You moaned and writhed beneath him, your body begging for more, as his fingers continued to dance over your clit, the pressure building steadily.
He was taking his sweet time, savoring every moment of your pleasure, and the knowledge that you’d orchestrated this situation only added to his own enjoyment. His eyes met yours, filled with a mix of amusement and desire, as he whispered, “You’re going to pay for all this, teasin’ darlin’.”
And with that, he lowered his head to kiss and lick the insides of your thighs, his hands pushing them further apart to expose you fully to his gaze. His tongue swiped over your folds, tasting you, teasing you, and you could feel yourself getting wetter and wetter under his ministrations.
The room was filled with the sounds of your desperate moans and his hungry groans, the air thick with the scent of your arousal. And as he finally took your clit into his mouth, suckling and flicking it with his tongue, you knew that this was going to be a night to remember.
Javi's tongue and fingers work in perfect harmony, bringing you to the brink of another orgasm. Your hips rock against his mouth, your moans echoing in the small motel room. As you reach your peak, he slows his pace, making the moment last until you're practically begging for release.
With one final flick of his tongue, you shatter, your body convulsing in pleasure. He smirks as he pulls away, his eyes gleaming with satisfaction as he watches you try to catch your breath. You sit up, your own desire now focused on him. You take his erection in your hand, your grip firm and sure as you stroke him.
His eyes roll back in his head, his breath hitching as you take control. You lean in, pulling the hem of his shirt up, pressing kisses to his chest and stomach as you continue to pump him, watching his reaction to every movement. His muscles tense, his breathing becomes erratic, and you know he's close.
With a few more strokes, he cums with a groan, his warmth spilling over your hand. The tension in the room shifts, the air now thick with a sense of victory and the scent of sex. You lean back, a smug smile playing on your lips as you wipe your hand on the bedspread.
Javi climbs on top of you, his muscular frame hovering over you as he captures your lips in a gentle, claiming kiss. His arms wrap around you, pulling you into his embrace as he rolls over, settling you onto your side.
He tucks you into the crook of his arm, your bodies pressed tightly together. His hand finds its way to your hip, his possessive grip securing you against him as he whispers, "You're mine." His voice is a soft rumble, filled with a tenderness that surprises you, given the intensity of the moment.
As you melt into the warmth of his hold, the exhaustion of the day's chase and the passionate encounter finally catch up to you. Your eyes drift closed, and you allow yourself to be lulled into sleep by the steady beat of his heart and the comfort of his strong arms holding you tight.
The last thing you feel before drifting off is the gentle kiss he presses to your forehead, a promise of more to come once the storm outside matches the one inside you both.
