#bulletbilltime rambling#that song (and also i'm not that girl) have deeply resonated with me ever since I saw the wicked broadway bootleg last month#but god just the message of deciding to break the rules and be true to oneself#plus honestly... defying gravity as a metaphor for being trans is kind of cool?#like you're going against smth that is seen as a 'biological truth' by bigots and coming out on top?? extremely based idk#the song also comes with the acknowledgement that not everyone will stay by your side as you fight for your truth#but that's the price to pay for being true to your values & your identity#really ephelba's entire arc feels tma coded as a whole but that's a ramble for another day#anyway yeah 2025 is the year I stop giving a fuck about being palatable to everyone#that & making this year a good year even if I have to claw at it to make it so.#and to anyone that would ground me: take that message back from me 😤#the post is stored in the tags
