the Born Alive Survivors’ Protection Act is a great example of how the divisions in American politics are not manufactured, they are ideological. Democrat and Republican politicians do not have “the same vision for America, just by different routes.” Their visions are two opposite worlds.

if the Born Alive Survivors’ Protection Act cannot be a bipartisan bill, then all bipartisanship in the federal government is an illusion.

and it’s not the Republicans who did that to us.
