Some random person: Urge but these things didn’t change and even though we know why they didn’t change (even though the reason’s are 100% bs i agree) it means NOTHING CHANGED EVEN THOUGH WE SEE CHANGES HAVE BEEN MADE WAYS THAT THEY COULD BE DONE WITHOUT CREATING PLOT HOLES AND TAKING AWAY THE NEW GEN STORY FROM KIDS

#yes kids are still child somdiers #in a time of peace when they shouldn’t have been fighting #and with new rules like no kill but capture the enemy instead (Which Kakashi put into place)#obv the elders weren’t held accountable which i agree is BS #Naruto promised Itachi he wouldn’t spill about the massacure #no one can hokd the elders accountable for their role in genocide if Naruto’s keeping that secret #and he’s not the only one #Sasuke should also be spilling about the massacure #he shouldn’t be keeping it a secret for whatever dumb ass reason #no one ‘forgot Hiashi was a slave owner’ they litterally talk about it in Boruto #he just wasn’t jailed or acctually held accountable like he should have been #because Kishi and the new writers love to let trash people off the hook for some reason #none of this takes away the changes that Kakashi COULD make #the fact he out treaties into place and built strong bonds with the other villages #and thrned Konoha into an exconomic giant #all in hopes of having a better future where there would be no more wars between villages #and where one day the Hokage would no longer be needed #which would signal an end to the shinobi era since the Hokage is a symbol of power for that specific era of time
